2341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: March 19, 2018, 09:10:21 AM
Can't wait until the SEC goes after the founder of NEUCOIN Daniel Kaufman!  Has anyone reported him to the authorities?  Seems like things are heating up with the SEC and ICO scams.  Who do you call anyways?

Happy New Year! Never forget how bad Daniel Kaufman F-ed everyone on NeuCoin. He walked away with over 5000 BITCOIN. That's worth about $USD 72,092,275 today!

NEUCOIN & Daniel Kaufman raised over 1000 plus BTC in the ICO/PRE-Sale and then got 4,000 moe BTC selling off NEUCOIN foundation coins as fast as he could get them.

Yup, that's one of my first investments in crypto and my worst one! I still own over 1 million neucoins, completely useless.
TOLD YOU!

but nevertheless...
that coin might be reborn Kiss

well those with neu coin on bittrex are screwed

2343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rating of the blockchain projects on Github - DarpalRating 03.18 on: March 18, 2018, 03:38:30 PM
this is useful but I am not sure that is a really reliable metric on its own to base any value around.

I would say initial distribution is the single most important thing to consider when looking at any project in the context of decentralised trustless environment. If you dont care about that then why not just match them up against centralised entities and go invest in those.

Some of those projects could have a million commits and they would still have to over come issues worthy of multiple nobel prizes to complete their white papers promises.

Better to just look for teams that have produced something workable with a real use case that could get some traction.

Those trying to blind you with the latest cool sounding techno babble are soon rendered useless to the next slightly updated design that comes along.

Many of those projects will be abandoned and the same devs will start something new and take the useful code they have created to the next project of which you will get no value from.

Pick reliable dev teams that have been around for years and are producing month in month out real results and have a tangible product that fills a real use case

Sometimes over complexity is only good from blagging funding from those who do not understand it is not required or not even feasible.

BTC with lightening is likely to obliterate a bunch of these "improved latest and greatest designs" simply because it will do all that it needs to and has so much investment and adoption behind it.

There will be room for other alts with specific use cases simply because they are so specific and so well designed that it will take years for them to be supplanted by models that use btc that's not to say btc based alternatives will not arise and rival them in the future too.

2344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it the end for cryptocurrency?everything is red! on: March 18, 2018, 03:15:08 PM
the market continues to fall, the demand for coins decreases! in the markets everything is red!
google does not support crypto!Facebook and Twitter are opposed to companies that are related with cryptocurrency!
is there a future? when to wait for change and growth?

Really twitter just helped raise 2.5 Million for lightning network?

don't worry about the google and facebook news... better for us a bunch of fake icos dont burn more crypto noobs.

any real investors with above 50 bucks net worth will have looked into crypto by now.

this dip is a bunch of weak hands getting flushed out and some that are waking up to the dreams and talk bullshit most icos are.
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 17, 2018, 12:57:51 PM
Just finished a small airdrop for new users who linked their BTC address for the cancelled March airdrop.
Total 2022 users.
72 MB to each user.
Total distributed amount: 145.584 GB.

They received this text from the retired transition bot:

Quote
As you perhaps already know, the March airdrop was cancelled since balance-based airdrops stopped bringing more value as they used to do. Other formats of airdrop will be exercised later in the process.
Additionally, we are shifting our focus to product and business development.

We understand that some of users spent money to link a BTC address for this airdrop, and while the airdrop was clearly indicated as tentative, we still want you to be a user of Byteball platform, and to allow you to experience its features, we are sending you 72,000,000 Bytes (worth about $30).

This worked out great. Thanks tony. - 70%

I bought a lot more cheaply ... better than a 10% bonus to the bb i already had.

Now though time to quit the creating uncertainty and mistrust in the community let's start making some bb positive moves before we crash out of the top 100.
2346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: March 17, 2018, 12:32:10 PM
I was thinking to get people to test out and get to use the latest bitbay market place...

What about those auction sites that were popular for a while where you could win ipads and stuff for a few bucks if you put the lowest bid without going to low... how did those work anyway?

2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: March 17, 2018, 12:18:35 PM
More good news from BitBay:
1. Buy/sell anything template is released. This template also includes auctions and reverse auctions.
2. New GUI fot the client will be released march 14th
 Smiley
That coin is very slow. They've been holding out on progress for like a year or so. They need to make it possible to make money on that coin lol.

Interesting comment.

Can you expand on how they are slow? To me they look to have an array of features far beyond that of most other projects.

The developer seems one of the most knowledgeable here too.

It is easier to talk about what you are going to do one day rather than actually code it out.

I would certainly suggest people download their latest wallet and take a look at all the features there.
2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else happy/excited about Dropil? on: March 17, 2018, 11:56:42 AM

2351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Tesla /space X - donated millions to lightning network on: March 17, 2018, 11:47:41 AM
any speck of bad news gets 50 threads bumped on page 1 for weeks.

this is quite outstanding good news

as is the germany btc news I was reading the other day

these threads drop off of page 1 instantly

I suspect many of these noob  accounts are paid anti crypto scabs

If I could have my way noob jail would return with only senior member and above permitted on the main board
2352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to ban crypto ads on: March 17, 2018, 11:12:35 AM
this is a NON event.

anyone that has not heard of crypto and has not investigated it already for themselves is likely to be a zero net worth individual anyway.

mostly these adverts are scamming ico shits that are a deteriment to this arena so this is good news.

mean while TWITTER TESLA/ SPACE X  are donating milions to lightning network and many more big players starting to dive in to btc and real crypto projects.
2353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Twitter Tesla /space X - donated millions to lightning network on: March 17, 2018, 11:09:22 AM
Lots of big names getting on nicely with crypto and many more probably doing so in stealth mode.

I fear for the shitty icos with no product when the next huge btc wave hits

Eventually even those with huge caps but that still have provided nothing of real use are going down hard.
2354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could bitcoin reach 100.000$ ? on: March 16, 2018, 11:25:18 PM
yes it is quite possible...
2355  Economy / Speculation / Re: **WHALES ARE ACTUALLY BUYING....NOT SELLING** on: March 16, 2018, 11:22:38 PM
of course only the weak hands will suffer here. Especially noob fools selling their btc for every new ico trash scam they dream will make them a fortune

whales know that most of the news lately is GREAT long term news.
2356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News says Bitcoin is Stronger than Ever, What do you thing? on: March 16, 2018, 09:26:55 AM

2358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS are the NEXT BIG THING? Add your Valid suggestion here now >>>>> POLL on: March 15, 2018, 10:05:44 PM
what's your take on Blocknet?

It seems like there is more things going on.

I just hope more people release this project.

when it is released in full spv form it could well become a top 10 or higher project.
2359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: March 15, 2018, 10:03:45 PM
Blocknet valuation thoughts using market cap:

Blocknet;
RANK: 91   MC : $192,373,754   PER COIN : $38.16   CIRCULATING SUPPLY: 5,041,373 BLOCK.

Let's quickly analyse these numbers. Low market cap: check. Low circulating supply: check. Dwindling order books: check. Hefty amount of coins locked to the servicenodes: check. Let all of that sink for a while.

Now let's do an old fashioned speculation using market cap rank & couple reflections:

CMC RANK 50: Hshare with mc   $395,722,320 divided by 5,041,373 BLOCK = 78,49$. Ok. Top 50 ought to be peanuts during the spring awakening. One whale could bring Block to these levels. Alone.
Let's continue.

CMC RANK 36: Grandmaster of the s*itcoins DOGE: $612,014,492. At least it's honest. But hell.. meme coin with absolutely zero real world application is valued for almost 600mil dollars. You see where I'm getting with this rambling? How about the In-Duh-Ned of the friggin' blockchains? Could Blocknet surpass DOGE? If there's any sense left in the cryptospace it should be done already. Or any half serious project for that matter. Oh my. Slain doggy would cost you $612,014,492/5,041,373 = 121,398$.

CMC RANK 19: QTUM. Widely hyped project with zero working products: $1,998,947,819. Ok, yeah, well it has flashy websites and all that. It could possibly cure cancer in the future. But for now it's all hot air and cool promises. Let's run the numbers: $1,998,947,819/5,041,373 BLOCK = 396,50$. Getting warmer.. BTW you can trade QTUM on Blocknet DX at this very moment Smiley.

Well wuppi frigging doo, let's get to the good stuff!

The all famed TOP10 is currently held by EOS with $5,752,510,435 market cap. Now we're talking. Ok cut the crap and give us the sweet numbers: $5,752,510,435 divided by 5,041,373 BLOCK = 1141,060$. Over 1k bucks. Per coin. Insanity!

This is the bare minimum which Blocknet ought to achieve once the SPV & DX final product will be released. Ambitious? Sure! Achievable: hells yeah. The more I've spend time digging around Blocknet, the more I'm starting to appreciate it.

Disclaimer: using only market cap for value calculation is flawed for sure, but it does give us the idea about the current state of things in cryptospace.
I'm tired of the overhyped projects gaining all of the attention with them whitepapers with dubious acronyms and bold promises. Year 2018 will be the year of DX's. Interoperability for the win!

Do your own research. And buy some sweet sweet doge :'c .

You have no clue what you're talking about.  How does Qtum not have a working product, when it has numerous projects already building on the platform?  Blocknet is a good project, but you're not helping it with these misinformed posts about projects that you don't even follow.

But also consider qtum is run by a known scammer.
