2381  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duckdice.io on: March 30, 2018, 05:27:56 AM
Way too many screenshots to go through. Let me jump straight to the point, is the primary concern here for the OP the fact that the affiliate earnings on his ref for the wager volume generated from bonuses given by Duckdice is not paid to him?

From what I can see, according to this https://help.duckdice.io/hc/en-us/articles/360000684454-Affiliate-Program it does say that "Please note that commission is applicable only for deposited money."

However, the terms and conditions for the affiliate program was updated 2 months ago, it could be possible that Duckdice updated it to try to avoid paying OP since their problems have been going on since October last year it seems.

How big of a loss are we even talking about here? I mean even if you give bonuses to that streaming guy, it doesn't take away from the fact that OP did indeed refer him which is why he is playing at your place... Undecided
2382  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin going moon starting from June. Don't sale your Bitcoin right now !! on: March 30, 2018, 05:18:04 AM
Yes Bitcoin going moon starting month of June. It's not joke. It's long time btc stay almost 8K to 10K zone. In my calculation Bitcoin will start recover starting from June 2018. So it's highly required that hold your Bitcoin. If you sale now it will be big loss for you. Just wait more little bit. Keep calm & stay cool, we can recover yourself with Bitcoin.

For holders, this current dip is just another opportunity to fill up their bags for cheap.

If you're giving advice to traders to continue to be long on bitcoin this year, then honestly I'm going to argue that you're wrong. It takes way more than just a couple of months of bearish market sentiment for bitcoin to settle at a true bottom. I hate when people make predictions without basis and say that "bitcoin will moon", because there is virtually no chance that bitcoin will moon when the entire market is just covered with bears.

What we could see is a short term adjustment upwards, but there will be no major breakouts. I doubt we'll see BTC above $10k this year again, at least consistently.

So yes, don't buy bitcoins in hopes of it "mooning" overnight in June. It's probably going to be a good year or two until the real bull market comes again.
2383  Economy / Speculation / Re: instead of seeking reasons,... just adjust your strategies to new trend! on: March 29, 2018, 09:40:54 AM
i keep seeing topics asking "why is it going down" "when will it reach $$$",... and everyone is panicking about when the "moon" is going to be!

well if you are not a trader then why are you even asking these questions? just buy and hold. come back in long term and enjoy the big profit.

if you are a trader then asking these silly questions won't help you. if you see price is not recovering and falling then just adjust your strategy to match the new trend. and i am not just talking about now. this happens each time the trend changes!
market is not always going to stay the same, it has ups and downs and sideways and ... for each of these trends you need a specific strategy. you can't just apply one thing to all of them.

"Moon" ain't gonna happen for a long time. People who entered the market when it was red hot and all hyped up don't realize that bitcoin do and will have periods of relative bearishness and inactivity, as a result prices will suffer.

No point trying to predict it at all, you're right.

Based on my experience, if you do believe that bitcoin is going to go mainstream in the long term, buying and holding is usually going to be your best option. If you're trading then obviously you should have done research and made it that your portfolio did not give you too much high risk exposure at one single time, no matter how tempting it might have been to buy high/sell low.
2384  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will keep moving downwards along with MA5 on: March 29, 2018, 09:03:21 AM
Markets are stagnating right now. The main reason that we are not seeing a bull market is that every time the recovery comes, it doesn't take the price anywhere. It doesn't break any resistance and that severely affects the confidence of the market. Of course, this is to be expected considering that we haven't seen a major pump since January, and that was just a recovery back up to $10k from a huge dump.

We are going to see some support at the $7000 level, but if that breaks, we are pretty much in free fall.

I doubt that we're going to see any sort of bullishness until much later on in the year, or even next year altogether when bitcoin has already bottomed. Although bearish right now, I'm still quite bullish long term and I will personally be buying some BTC during this bear market.
2385  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges Affiliate Programs on: March 29, 2018, 08:53:05 AM
Thank you for the list. It definitely surprised me when there were so many exchanges with affiliate programs around. There are some exchanges that I would definitely avoid though such as xcoins and yobit, because the former deals with extremely high risk payment methods, and the latter is just a semi-functional exchange with no support and problems arising everywhere.

Not sure if this would fit, but I'm sure that most people that uses bitcoin probably initially bought some BTC from virwox.

They have a referral program too, according to the page here: https://www.virwox.com/vpn_help.php#_referral_fee. You get 20% of the commissions of your direct referrals, and 20% of any referral earnings made by your direct referrals.
2386  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My bank doesnt allow transfers to kraken. Recommend me a payment processor. on: March 29, 2018, 08:45:45 AM
I have a business bank account.
My bank declined my transfer to kraken saying that crypto is too risky.

It's very complicated to open another business account because i am living abroad.
I am looking for other solutions like a payment processor.

I heard that transferwise stopped accepting crypto related bank transfers.

What other processors work with kraken?
I heard about revolut, mistertango and advcash but i am not sure whhich is best.
I need a business account with one of them and anonymity would be nice too Smiley

If your bank is denying the transfer, nothing you can do especially if you can't open a new account with another bank or of another type.

You could potentially deal with payment processors such as Advcash, Payeer, Perfectmoney which all will be able to accept a wire transfer internationally and then convert that to your respective balances, which you can use to freely convert your fiat into bitcoin. However, they have virtually no support so if there is any sort of problem, you're screwed.

Do you need to go through a payment processor?

If you're just purely wanting to buy bitcoins using bank transfer, I suggest checking out localbitcoins. The rates you'll get is usually lower than if you had to deposit to one of those payment processors(advcash or whatnot), send the funds to an exchanger, and then get a really bad rate. Plus, you are protected by localbitcoins escrow so there is very little chance you'll get scammed or have an issue compared to any other method.
2387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price falls 7 percent after Twitter's announcement of crypto ban on: March 29, 2018, 08:00:12 AM
And now after Facebook ban and Google's restrictions on crypto ads,its Twitter's turn to act against cryptos. On Monday, twitter announced that it would ban crypto ads to protect its users from getting scammed. This move has reduced bitcoin's price by 7 percent.

Actually i planned to withdraw 2,000 dollars worth bitcoin from my wallet today. Now should I wait for one or two days for price to recover or should I withdraw now itself to avoid further loss due to more price fall.

Your valuable suggestions are most welcome.

https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/03/26/bitcoin-falls-7-percent-to-below-8000-after-twitter-bans-cryptocurrency-ads.html

Bitcoin in the short term may continue its drop. There are simply no bullish resistance right now to keep prices high and the general market sentiment is extremely bearish. And with the new regulations, and bans from Twitter as you mentioned, markets don't yet know how to react rationally to these pieces of news. That's why prices in the short term should only continue its downward slope IMO.

You have 2 choices if I were you.

Either hold for the long term, since cashing out BTC at such low prices seems to be a high risk, low reward thing to do. But that requires time. Or you could sell around now, but waiting for the rebound before you do so instead of selling right now. Prices have declined throughout the week and eventually, there will be a recovery, whether a small or big recovery.
2388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be able to exceed its highest price in this year ? on: March 29, 2018, 07:50:10 AM
Hello,
I am new in cryptocurrency world.so i have no idea about bitcoin price prediction.I want to know about price prediction....

Is your question "will bitcoin exceed its previous all time high this year"?

My answer is a definite no to this. I doubt that the major recovery that will take bitcoin to greater heights will happen this soon, it's not going to be in this year and in fact, probably not for another two to three years at least when the bull cycle comes around again.

There is a lot of optimists left, saying that price will rebound this year and go to crazy heights like $50k or something. These predictions are quite futile in my opinion. I have never seen any asset, bitcoin included with its recent history, go from hyper bullish - hyper bearish back to hyper bullish in just a few months. The all time high should be a target for years to come imo.

But who knows, anomalies do happen from time to time, so I can't say for sure. But still, the answer is no.
2389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's talk volume. on: March 29, 2018, 07:25:57 AM
Amount of btc volume did not change much but the amount of fiat money traded differs by a lot.

Demand for btc with fiat is definitely going down.

Of course. If bitcoin volumes are staying the same, but fiat volume is drastically decreasing, that literally means that the price of BTC is going down. And indeed it has. If the price of bitcoin is going down, doesn't that literally mean that demand for bitcoin has reduced? So what's your point here? Roll Eyes

I honestly don't think that there is as much correlation between volume and price as some people think. And it's no good trying to argue that BTC is going down further because the USD volumes have been going down, because as OP has shown, bitcoin volume only decreased by around 10%. If this BTC volume does increase or decrease dramatically that can definitely be a sign of a pump/dump. However, right now, it's just staying put. So there's really nothing to extract from this.

But even without the volumes, I think it's safe to say that 2018 is going to be a relatively quiet year compared to 2017. We probably will go down further for the year as well, being stuck in this bear market.

https://blockchain.info/address/17ce77655zdfvhWDrt1KkTftm2k7ZK6iuT

given deposited sanp short which shown still my account, i was talked more thena 10 agent with month buy they not solve my problem

I see that you made a previous deposit to the same address: 991071bdf336979513bb46eefcc0cc08cb24f76e80b30242a4095c79fe1f6640.

Did that deposit go through normally or did it never hit your account or had some sort of problem before hitting your account? You could use that as proof that the address previously worked, but it's not working right now.

From your screenshots I can see that one of the support agents said that "we will solve this issue". It's been 3 months and they still haven't solved it, apparently. Even if it was some error they should let you know, and give you an ETA on when the funds will reach you. The value of your BTC has already depreciated by more than 50% since the day you sent it, which IMO is partially their fault as well.
2391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PayPro loses all investor funds... Scam? on: March 29, 2018, 07:00:17 AM
They deleted their medium article as well.

It's unacceptable to outsource the development of anything, not know the risks of what would happen, say that you audited everything, yet still come out with a fatal error that ends up with investors losing money. In my opinion, that's just their excuse for not refunding the investors everything that they put into their ICO.

Very untrustworthy how they released a new affiliate program in an attempt to get more investors in even after the current issue. We don't know if there is any foul play with this Ethereum issue, and instead of putting all their time investigating into this issue and try to get a refund, they are focusing on raising more funds.

Looks like a greedy team for sure, I would say that it's a scam and not invest anything into this if I were you.
2392  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Topparkeds scammed me for .15 BTC in an auction. :( on: March 29, 2018, 06:47:41 AM
Damn, that's brutal. I understand that people can definitely get scammed by previous trading partners and there is probably more trust put in them, for good or bad. Guess that's a lesson for us all to learn, never ship goods to someone until you've received full payment or that escrow has confirmed that they have indeed secured payment in their possession.

Hopefully he can come out and pay this as he promised.

You're at an advantage here, though. He probably couldn't resell the coin easily since it's in an ANACS slab and that can be tracked quite easily if he decided to use an alt account to sell it. Also you've got the dox which you have every right to release if he doesn't respond say, in a week.
2393  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Might We "Moon?"/ Bear Market Pain? on: March 28, 2018, 08:23:48 AM
might be too short if we are experiencing a correction to the raging bull market of the last 2-3 years. i wouldn't be surprised if the market corrects for a year or two.

Yep. We have been bullish since 2016 leading to the build up of a huge pump that nobody really expected in 2017.

To say that this current bear market is able to end at just a few months seems unbelievable for me. 2014, even though in a completely different context, can provide some guidelines. The markets after 2013, which was obviously a shorter and less prolonged pump, took around 3 years to fully consolidate for the next pump. I think that this time the time will be shorter, but still will take around 2 years to break out of this bear market, or at least "non-bullish" market with sideways movement.

Reason? Just because BTC is correcting big time, and panic dumpers are selling into the panic like usual when that happens. BTC will still go up long term imo, just not in the short term.
2394  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's causing the dump ? on: March 28, 2018, 08:01:16 AM
What is causing the dump in the value of bitcoin as well as other altcoins ? Is it because of threats and banning from some countries or is it because Facebook has banned the crypto ads and there are rumours that you will and Google will follow the same which might create fear amongst the users ?

There has been some FUD about regulation of bitcoin globally with SEC and G20 pretty much coming out and saying that bitcoin needs to be regulated. The potential outcome of such regulation I think has been greatly exaggerated and overreacted by traders. I don't think that Facebook banning ads has much to do with the overall trend of where bitcoin is going at the moment.

Most of it can be simply explained as the "bust" stage of the natural cycle of BTC. Bitcoin had itself a year last year, and that was not sustainable. A lot of people just took their profits at the start of the year, leading to dumps.

I still believe in bitcoin though, don't let this dump distract you from the big picture. Bitcoin still has a lot of potential and a lot of opportunities ahead. Instead of selling now, I would actually look to purchase BTC to hold for the long term as everyone else is selling, especially when price is under $7k.
2395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bears still dominate the market, downtrend remains intact on: March 28, 2018, 07:50:59 AM
Minor attacks initiated by bears continue emerging on hourly chart, the market is dominated by bears as we’ve seen no resistance from bulls so far.

Some investors believe bull market is near the corner, but it doesn’t make sense to me in logic. If price surges from here, main funds have no profits to make, as we all know, they will remain control over the market before they maximize their profits.

Volumes remain low on daily chart, indicating that even bears are not as determined as expected. Currently, price hovers around a short-term support, making it possible for price to continue oscillating move.

But if bulls remain silent and take no further actions, support will be digested and a major dip will take place after that.

Here comes the short-term conclusion, basically, price will keep oscillating, if BTC fails to surge after having been moving sideways for a long time, downtrend will be the main story.

Original by Kuang Ren, translated by AICoin Jami.

A good analysis in my opinion.

I don't think that we're going to really go up at this point. Now that we're under $8k, the resistance at $8k is extremely strong. The two attempts at breaking $9k were both unsuccessful, which is why we haven't actually broken out yet.

Most likely, we are going to go down to around $7k, stabilize there somewhat, and then see if support of $7k holds up. If that doesn't hold up and there are no major bullish outbreaks, then BTC could be going down and testing the $6k support which was the previous low. Either way, markets are extremely bearish at the moment and it shouldn't return to a bull market anytime soon, probably until May-June.

If the support is not responding to you, then you should talk to the admin directly.

PM this person: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317543. Link him to this thread or include all your screenshots in your PM with him, and he should hopefully be able to prioritize this case for you since you've been waiting for such a long time.

It's weird though because if you deposited to the correct address, everything should be automated for a BTC deposit.

Are you sure that you deposited to the right address? Can you provide a txid for the transaction you sent to Spectrocoin?
2397  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: AllTrade.Center - Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 28, 2018, 06:58:45 AM
Hi,

We are already working on a new design! All the UI will be reworked and more functions will be added. Even for older or weaker computers.
We are open for only 2 weeks and this is just the beginning.

Thanks for the reply.

Nice to hear. But I would not consider my computer to be old, or weak. It's definitely not the best but it loads all other exchanges fine including Poloniex, Bittrex, Binance, Bitfinex among others. Never had the lagging issue like I had on your site.

For the new UI I would suggest having more colors than just the boring black grey and white.

Also as I said, you should start listing some of the more major coins on your site if you want to have any sort of volume at all. You'll probably need to launch some sort of publicity campaign on the forum to gain some attention as well.

BTW, which country is the exchange located in?
2398  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX is going downhill... on: March 28, 2018, 06:36:10 AM
Update:

after only 43 days my dgb appeared on destination address. Of course, like ALWAYS, they have lost at least 40% of value in satoshis...

issue is closed.

Yeah... I've moved to Poloniex to Binance a while back as well, and stopped using bittrex because they all had deposits and withdrawals problems and their support would never ever respond to a ticket on time or have the slightest commitment to solving my issue.

Sorry to hear that it took that long and you also lost money along the way, in fact 40% loss of value in satoshis is probably more like >60% loss in fiat terms due to the bitcoin crash as well.

Suddenly, another addition to this infamous history of events:

yesterday I tried to move some cynereo AMP from Poloniex to Bittrex, luckily I made a test with 30 dollars value, the AMP withdrawal resulted in (red) error on poloniex, then unlocked today after almoust 24hours, and completed correctly.

Of course, AMP value dropped today, so resulted in another loss.

What do you mean by "red" error on poloniex?

Anyways all of your experiences show that poloniex is not an exchange that can be trusted on a regular basis, therefore it's probably wise to trade on another exchange at least for the time being. They used to be an awesome exchange, though. Sad to see this going down.
2399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can I tell if a cloud mining business is not a scam? on: March 28, 2018, 06:30:18 AM
Contract deals for cloud mining are very old in Bitcoin. Just like Ponzi schemes. And usually, these two are related. The vast majority of companies that offer mining cloud only work on the basis of trust. There is little evidence that these are legitimate and audited schemes of large mining farms.

Companies that offer this service: Hashflare, Genesis Mining, Minex, viabtc, antmining, hashnest. Some of these companies are known for their pools, for their mining-related products, and for their large mining farms.

But there are several other small businesses that are offering such services. My question is: Is there any checklist to check if it is a legitimate business? Could I ask to receive Bitcoin directly from a newly generated block? Could I request that the blocks be generated with a contract batch signature? Are there technical possibilities to ensure that they are actually mining Bitcoin rather than managing a Ponzi scheme?

Any small cloud mining businesses that have no apparent relationship with any major pools should be considered to be a scam, unless otherwise proven. That's just how it is, scammers love to open scam sites under the name of it being a "cloud mining site". If it's promising any kind of minimum returns, then it's for sure a scam as well.

Since even legit cloud mining companies will mine from pools instead of solo mining, it'll be hard to ask anyone to send BTC from a newly generated block, let alone the scammers.

It's just common sense, really. Avoid cloud mining as much as possible, even for the big names, a lot of them have shady pasts. If it's too good to be true then it probably is - as the old saying goes.

Hello,

We appreciate your concern and assure you we are a legitimate and fully licensed company. There may have been images used as placeholders from our development team which we have removed.

We're still in the process of development to bring you one of the best investment platforms in cryptocurrency, so stay tuned!

Please show any licenses that you hold as proof. I could not find it on your website.

Also your website shows that your company has been around since 2011, which isn't the case as a whois lookup shows that your domain creation date was in fact in late last year. According to your you are able to generate a 'bare minimum of 200% per year' off your portfolio, which is way too big of a return to possibly sustain in the long term.

I'm not buying the placeholder picture story. Even with the updated team, I could not find any linkedin profiles or any descriptions outside of your site.
