3081  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is best bitcoin lending platform? on: November 19, 2017, 09:26:38 AM
I want to try it out. Anyone who can suggest a good one?
Thanks!!

I would definitely say on forum, the lending section.

With third party sites you really have no guarantees as a lender and a borrower. If you are a lender then the personal information that you hold really has no weight especially if the borrower is in another country altogether.

If you're a borrower, you have no control over the personal info you submit. They could easily do dodgy stuff with your info.
3082  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io Scam 36.7 mBTC on: November 19, 2017, 08:52:55 AM
Your transaction after the fee replace got confirmed so i'm not sure what their problem is, apart from the fact that you may have reduced your deposit by a dollar or two since i'm assuming you replaced your transaction by a higher fee.

Apart from that though, everything is fine. Standard procedure.

Wait for their security team's response. They should at worst refund your deposit, but hopefully they'll let you keep your earnings as well.
3083  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k By March 2018 on: November 19, 2017, 08:39:11 AM
If you read how things and adoptions are going for, there is a fairly amount of demand, and a push for $10k by holders.

Do you agree?

I doubt it'll happen in March 2018.

I honestly think that it is much more likely it's going to be much sooner than that. It's only a 30% or so gain, which is almost nothing in crypto terms. We've seen pumps that took BTC on way more than that kind of rise in less than 1 week.

In my opinion, the market's direction's going to take BTC to $10k by the end of the year.
3084  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The No.1 Bitcoin Mixer! on: November 18, 2017, 09:43:44 AM
Look everyone. A newbie that supports a never-before-heard-of bitcoin mixer! Can this mixer handle my massive 1000s of bitcoins at a time transactions? Gosh I sure hope so. I trust you completely.

Yes, totally. I think that this site is definitely legit, been around for ages. The admin is trustworthy as hell, they've got a proven track record and everything. Hell, even got a random nobody vouching for them on the forum!

On a serious note though, don't ever put money into a mixer especially if it's high amounts if you don't know that they are legit or not. Simply no need to take that chance, even if they give you the money back you don't know whether they've actually mixed it or not.

Stick to chipmixer, or other big names.
3085  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Watches on: November 18, 2017, 09:23:44 AM
What you need to do is accept escrow. Whilst these watches do look swag, i doubt many people will buy it without the protection of an escrow. Either deal through escrow directly or deposit a sum of bitcoin into escrow so that people have this peace of mind.

I'm not saying that you're a scam or whatever, it's for the buyer's protection and to boost confidence in your business which is beneficial for you.

Maybe get some more designs like for each of the top 10 coins?
3086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Must Crash - $7500 Is The Peak on: November 18, 2017, 09:18:03 AM
There is absolutely no good investing if you are not going to cash out, i agree with you on that. However i think that bitcoin has not even achieved 1/10th of its potential, in my opinion. And to dump now when the price isn't even in 5 figures would just be a dumb move.

I don't care what you are for, whether you think bitcoin is a bubble or whatever, bitcoin is going to hit $10k this year or the next.

$7500 has shown not to be the peak, and even though there has been a small correction caused by BCH's rise in value, BTC will go up soon to break $8k, 9k, then 10k.
3087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin Price So Fluctuating? on: November 18, 2017, 09:15:03 AM
If you are an active trader in the world of digital currency and indeed take advantage of extreme price movements Bitcoin to seek profit, Bitcoin prices are fluctuating, of course, brings its own happiness. But it's different if you use Bitcoin as cash or fiat money. If you redeem your one million Bitcoin and intend to spend it on an online site, you certainly do not want your Bitcoin value to decrease as Bitcoin prices suddenly drop. Bitcoin you have now cannot pay for the Hard Disk 1 Terra you want and eventually, you have to buy extra Bitcoin to cover up the shortcomings.

Fluctuating Bitcoin prices have become a daily complaint of Bitcoiners around the world. Actually what factors affect the rise and fall of Bitcoin prices?
I wouldn't really say that it is a complaint. At least for me.

Personally i enjoy trading with the fluctuation. Without the fluctuation you can literally just use something like USDT(tethered to 1 USD). And that would mean that you're essentially limiting yourself with central bank policies again.

Bitcoin is all about decentralization and with decentralization will come fluctuations in price. Just how it goes.
3088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pricing on: November 18, 2017, 08:00:28 AM
Why the price of bitcoin is changing quite fast....Why so?

Supply and demand. Simple economics.

Right now a lot of new people are being introduced into bitcoin and this is the reason why the price has risen so much in the past few months, pretty much exponentially. Bitcoin is quite volatile because it is completely unregulated, no government will bail out bitcoin etc.

This volatility in my opinion just shows that bitcoin is independent to fiat, and can generate a lot of profits for you if you speculate right. For example right now BTC is down a bit, buying right now could easily prove to be a $500 profit per btc bought.
3089  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] iPhone 7 Plus on: November 18, 2017, 05:39:58 AM
I saw blazed selling an iPhone 7 plus a few days ago for $500, phone is unlocked i think. Not sure if the offer is still valid though, since the original thread that he posted it in has been locked by him even though nobody seems to have bought it.

Link if you need it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2399906.msg24572090#msg24572090

Be careful of phones that are carded, though. Don't ever buy these.
3090  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lone Shark = Scammer & Liar on: November 17, 2017, 11:53:31 PM
His copy pasting should have led to a ban, no doubt about that. I'm not sure why they let him off the hook because that would create a precedent that everyone else will think that they will get away with copy pasting too.

The neg is deserved, however that should not be a reason to not use his loaning service.

His loan service is good, he has held lots of collateral without issue, he can be trusted for that.
3091  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dolphin123 Send phishing link on: November 17, 2017, 11:48:17 PM
Never click on @Dolphin123's link. This scammer will send you a message saying he replied to one of your post with a bitcointalk link. If you click that link, you gonna get redirected on other website where you will need to login to "your BCT" account. Of course, he will get your informations.

Here is some information about this bitch.

Leave a link to his profile so that people know which guy you're talking about. Also how did you get that information? Any proof that it is actually him and not just some random guy in Indonesia or even a hacker of his account?

These links are really spreading fast.

Always hover over the link before you click it, to see the actual URL that you will be directed to.
3092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your prediction of bitcoin price 12-31-2017 ????? on: November 16, 2017, 07:08:46 AM
I predict $9,250 eoy.

It's not a bad prediction, though i think that what is going to happen is that the $10000 level is going to get tested by the end of the year and hopefully the price will go right up there and create headlines everywhere.

This will in turn create more media attention for btc and price will probably go up even further, most likely $11k-$12k.

Still not a bad time to start getting into bitcoin in my opinion. It's still not five digits which i think at the end of the year it will be.
3093  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sites that give free satoshi: Dangerous? on: November 16, 2017, 06:27:40 AM
Hi there,

I'm finding sites like this one:
http://freesatoshibit.com/

That seem to give free Satoshi if I go there every X seconds...

Are these potentially dangerous?

Let's set aside for a minute the sillyness of wasting time on these sites. It could be fun just to see the "plunk" of a satoshi into a new wallet I'm testing, for example.

It's not dangerous, especially if you get the links for the faucets off an official faucet rotator you shouldn't be experiencing any issues with the actual site itself in terms of viruses or whatever. You're not investing anything either.

Only thing is that you're wasting a lot of your time.

Probably better off working a part time shift at Mcdonalds than doing this, but i mean for the satisfaction of seeing some coin in your wallet, why not.
3094  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Raffle] Full Mint Tray of 2016 Silver China Pandas on: November 16, 2017, 06:05:21 AM
Damn, these coins are beautiful and to have them to be all in the mint tray is just amazing for the eyes Tongue I'll try to get in one of those raffles next time, but it does seem like these gets filled up extremely quickly these days Cheesy

Congratulations to realediston for winning this raffle as well!
3095  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ConfirmTX.com's Free bitcoin transaction acceleration & New Block Notifications on: November 16, 2017, 06:02:22 AM
OP is a scammer! He is using antpool's free service and then charging users. That dude was asking me to do a website, whitepaper and ERC20 tokens for his ICO which he was planing to announce shortly. He was promising to pay me after finishing his ICO  and was very interested about anonymous domain registration and offshore hosting..... Do not trust a single word of this person. He is a Liar and a potential ICO scammer.

Do you have proof that he is actually just using antpool to accelerate these transactions? If yes, please post them here. This is extremely shady behaviour to say that you're partnered up with a bunch of well known pools and turn out to just use the freely available tools to accelerate people's transactions.

The offshore and anonymous registration and hosting are all alarm bells.

And an ICO too? Oh please, it's a damn acceleration site.
3096  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ? on: November 16, 2017, 05:58:35 AM
What do you think Bitcoin Price will be in next 3years ?

comment your view and let see who will be right.

I think that the price will crash a bit at first, as an adjustment to the crazy pumps that we've witnessed this year. However by 2020 we can definitely expect further pumps coming in. The price will definitely be above the $10k range though.

If you really want a guess from me, i would go with around $15k-$17k.

Could be much lower, could be much higher. It'll depend on a lot of things, including bitcoin forks and regulations from government that can't be predcited.
3097  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are here. on: November 16, 2017, 05:44:47 AM
We could be here.

However we could also be in the initial sell off position with a bear trap if you look at it at a different perspective. The thing is with this current pump and all, it's definitely going to come a time where BTC gets dumped big time.

That time is definitely not now at least in my opinion. BTC still got a long way to go, even after the dump this time, it's still going to outperform bank interest in the long term imo.
3098  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining does not make any financial sense? on: November 16, 2017, 05:43:04 AM
I don't understand, why would someone cloudmine. I looked at nicehash prices

https://www.nicehash.com/buy

with 77 usd you can buy 0.05 PH for 24hrs.

According to profitability calculator, with that power you would get 60 dollars in 24 hrs. So you would pay 77 dollars to get 60 dollars. What am I missing?

Renting hashrate doesn't really make sense unless you're trying to get into an altcoin big time without disrupting the markets too much. Or perhaps you're just taking a gamble on how many blocks your pool will mine with a pretty ridiculous house edge.

Would also work if the coin isn't currently listed on any exchanges but you want to get into it.

But other than that, i don't know why someone would go with renting hashrate or even cloud mining rather than just buying the actual coin with BTC.
3099  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Bittrex] account downgraded, 1 month no answer from support, funds blocked on: November 16, 2017, 05:36:07 AM
LOL Trex is US based if you trade there you are subject to US laws. Now be a good boy and fill out the forms.

then how come in the past ~3 years it was not "subject to US laws" and never even warned me about it, or ask me for any documents when i was depositing and withdrawing bitcoin and other altcoins there?
now suddenly in the past months they remembered they are located in US? and again didn't give any warnings but disabled lots of accounts!

all i'm saying is, i made all the deposits there back when they didn't have this rule. they changed it and blocked my account after 3 years. i am not ok with this new rule so i want my money back!
any legit business which weren't thinking about robbing people would have given a time frame in which people could withdraw their money. instead bittrex robbed us.

Yeah exactly, if they wanted to see your ID or whateve they should have warned you before you even deposited. Not sure why they're doing it now, i don't think that there has been any major changes in regards to KYC regulations in exchanges.

what they are doing here is fishy.

They know that you ain't going to deposit if they told you beforehand, so now they force you to ID yourself after they've got all your funds.
3100  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ConfirmTX.com's Free bitcoin transaction acceleration & New Block Notifications on: November 15, 2017, 08:11:34 AM
Told you guys,
This user is lying about partnering with the Bitcoin.com mining pool so i would assume that the whole setup is a lie.

Someone on DT needs to "tag" the users account as a scammer.

Since you are deeply involved with bitcoin.com(at least the forum side), i'm going to believe you. They did claim that they worked with pools from the likes of btc.top, bitcoin.com all the way to BTCC and bixin:

Quote
Ps: We are working with a large group of miners who use btc.top,bitcoin.com bitfury, antpool,BTCC,Bixin and gbminers. We are not directly linked with these pools. If you will submit your tx to us you will know.

I feel like a lot of the transactions are being confirmed using antpool, which means that they COULD potentially be using antpool's free service and charging a fee for accelerating these transactions. Highly shady if that's the case.

You are correct i am involved with the Bitcoin.com forum but i am also involved with the mining pool side of Bitcoin.com and can confirm without any doubt that the OP does not use the Bitcoin.com pool to accelerate any transactions, that part of his statement is a complete lie.

You are most likely right about him just using antpool's free service and then charging users.
The fact that the OP does not respond to my comments in his thread is a good indication this is not a legitimate service.

I haven't responded because I don't feed into drama. If you think I take the time to copy and paste hundreds of transactions to another free accelerator everyday you are nuts. People have used my service and they like the results, as I've said numerous times if you think I am a lying fraud then do not use my service, I know I am not capable of making every user happy and I'm okay with that. If you don't trust it then don't use it, plain and simple. For those who do choose to go with my hard work and my service, thank you. I appreciate all of the kind responses and I do take most suggestions into consideration.

You still have not addressed the fact that someone that is from the actual bitcoin.com pool essentially denied any association with confirmtx's service while you claimed that you work with them. Please state the reason why you stated that you did work with them, when you in fact didn't.

I have little programming knowledge but i think it would be pretty easy to build a bot to copy paste transaction ids into antpool. Along with a captcha solving service, charging $4 per transaction over 400 bytes as well as selling the ad space would make a decent amount.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing this, but you need to tell your customers that you're doing this, and not lie about your partnership with bitcoin.com.
