3281  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for a list of all dice/casino sites that accept outside investments on: August 12, 2017, 05:50:49 AM
Does anybody have something like this? Or even just a suggestion for me? I'm looking to start investments at several casinos.

What i would suggest is diversify your investment across a multitude of platforms. I would pick 25% bitvest, 25% Cryptogames, 25% Yolodice, 12.5% in JD since they only accept clams which fluctuate and 12.5% in safedice. If they accept kelly then i would definitely go for at least 2-3x kelly to maximize profits because it is really unlikely that 33% or 50% of the whole bankroll will be ever won by a singel person.

Most common casinos accepting Investments: SafeDice, YoloDice, Crypto-Games.net, King Dice, MegaDice.

Maybe there is one or another accepting too, but these are the sites I know. Before start investing look for reviews about each one of them. When investing in casinos you need to always look for news, because few of them can go bad...

Thanks! Do you know if yobit accepts investors?

Do not use Yobit. They claim that this is a tool for developers to promote but if thats true there would only be new coins on there. But no, bitcoin is listed at a return of 0.2% per day. It's probably a ponzi scheme.

Thanks! That is what I was planning on doing. I'm invested in the bankroll at two different casinos right now and looking for any other safe ones that I can get in at. Some of the ones mentioned above don't accept US customers. Any way to easily get around this? Also, what is "JD"?

Good to hear that you're diversifying.

Indeed some of them do not accept US customers. However you can always use a VPN to escape this restriction and afaik most of the casinos accepting bitcoin won't be f***ed to check that you're actually outside the US or not.

JD is Justdice, they used to be one of the biggest dice sites around(even bigger than Primedice), but now they only accept CLAMs meaning that they are substantially smaller in size. You won't find a lot of highrollers there, so you'll essentially betting on clams appreciating.
3282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Future of Gambling on: August 10, 2017, 11:28:14 AM
It's nice to see another gambling option for people to choose whenever they like
I'm prefer play plinko but all game is fun to play and great animation !

Is there any stake forum ?

Yes. forum.stake.com.

@stunna, nice work on getting the domain and the design work. I can see you have invested a ton of money into doing this. I just wanted to ask, is stake going to be licensed/is it already licensed? Because if it's not it definitely looks like a legit, licensed casino.  Grin

Are there any plans to accept altcoins, btw?

TBH though, if you guys aren't going to make PD obsolete, i don't think that there is really a point to having 2 sites running at once. Just a waste of money, labor, and energy.
3283  Economy / Gambling / Re: ZoomDice.com - Bitcoin Dice Site (We are back) on: August 10, 2017, 11:20:16 AM
It would be good to provide a signed message in your cold wallet once the investor provides you with the funds for your site, it is one way to ensure you have sufficient bankroll to process withdrawals if a whale wagers huge amount of money and win while playing on your site.

Yes i will provide that

Please do so in the next few days, otherwise you're not going to get your red trust removed.

So you said that you have an investor now, are you sure that you are holding his investment to pay out any winnings along the way? If the investor still is holding all his own money then the same thing could happen again, him backing out and saying he's not interested anymore when someone wins a major prize(in this case it's not even a major prize of any sort, it's just some average winnings).

BTW, site looks somewhat like a semi-copy of PD...
3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: keep calm and buy the dips... on: August 10, 2017, 10:21:41 AM
I don't think that blindly buying the dips is the best idea you can have.

The issue with buying dips as soon as they appear is that you never know how it is going to go. Obviously in the long run bitcoin is likely just going to keep going up, but since speculation is a short term thing rather than a long term thing, it's not going to work.

What i would do is wait till everyone is just full on talking smack about bitcoin, saying that it's no use, it's a ponzi and whatever else. That's probably the lowest you can get in a dip, things can't really go any worse from that point on.

I'm by no means saying that buying dips as they appear is bad. It is infinitely better than buying when everyone is hyping about something, it's just not the best. It's probably best to analyse the whole picture before acting.
3285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 3.2K!! on: August 10, 2017, 08:36:59 AM
Apparently Bitcoin has again broke the record by reaching reaching 3.2K (almost 3.3K currently it's 3,280$ on Bitfinex)
Gotta go fast bitcoin, gotta go fast  Grin Grin   I wonder if it coins going any higher  Smiley

It seems like that we are experiencing some major resistance at the $3400 level.

Price has been here for like 2 days now and unfortunately has not broken that level yet.

I would expect the price to go up further though after segwit is actually activated on the bitcoin network. RIght now it is locked in, but there is a mandatory waiting period before Segwit can actually get activated.

When it does get activated, really i think that $4000 is definitely achievable. If it goes above $4000 it'll probably stay there for the rest of the year.
3286  Economy / Securities / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] Investment Returns, Updated weekly, Week 31, +27.45% in BTC on: August 10, 2017, 08:27:42 AM
Does anyone know if BTC daily returns are the same percentage wise for all investors at crypto-games.net or they might differ from one investor to another? What does it depend on if they vary?

It does not based on my understanding.

Your investment is basically a claim of a percentage of profits made on the house. The more you invest, the more percentage that you own of the entire casino bankroll. When someone loses or wins the profit or loss is distributed evenly across all investors, depending on how much you have invested. However, crypto games does take a small cut from the investment profits afaik. If thats wrong please correct me.

Does that makes sense?

Great stuff OP, making profits every single day, eh  Tongue

3288  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: FreeBitcoins.com Wallet dig bounty! $500 for a wallet sold that still has digs! on: August 10, 2017, 08:09:31 AM
So this is digging clams right?

Do i have to have some bitcoins on that address on the exact block number or can it just be that the address has to be used before the block number? If it is the latter then i probably have a few addresses lying around that are used before clams came around.

Also how much in clam do we get paid per dig?

Sorry but i'm too much of a noob with clams, i haven't been involved with JD at all.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 06, 2017, 08:29:41 AM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

I have definitely heard about it, however I didn't act upon the information that i got.

I think this is what most people did back in 2009-2010, people heard about it back then, but a lot of people were too skeptical to even try out the currency first. Mining was basically a piece of cake, if you solo mined you would have literally made tens/hundreds of bitcoins per month if not more.

There is no point regretting though, people do make mistakes. And most people who got their coins early on probably sold them off anyways, nobody could have ever envisioned bitcoin at $3000+ right now. IT's just a crazy ride that we've been on, and i don't think that this is the end by far.

I'm still holding bitcoin for the long term, not going to sell because if i do, i'll look like a fool just like laszlo selling 10000 coins for two pizzas(not that he cares about it).
3290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8th August on: August 06, 2017, 07:47:24 AM
Who is all expecting a price pump on that day?

Since Segwit is going to get locked in on that day i would expect something similar to what is happening right now. If everything goes according to the plan a lot of people's doubts are going to be lifted and since bitcoin is actually going to be improved then there are going to be a lot of pumping.

How high it will go, i'm not sure. Probably at least $3500 though.

From now i think it is pretty much guaranteed that this event is going to run smoothly just like the 1st August event. There is nothing that is indicating that Segwit won't get locked in or anything like that. So yeah, i'd say prepare for another round of pumps very very soon, probably in 5 days or so but could be sooner.

Great time to buy still, if you think about it. Could easily be a quick $200 flip or so.
3291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex not closing my account nor letting me withdraw my funds - ~$44k on: August 06, 2017, 07:26:04 AM
Hello, for as long as I can remember I've been messaging Poloniex's support team asking them to close my account and let me withdraw my funds with no hope, they just don't reply to me at all, even though in their new terms it says if someone disagrees with the new terms they'd close their acc and send all their funds to their wallet, but they just ignore all of my support tickets.

The money I have in my account is all I have and them refusing to let me withdraw it and having it stuck there is just completely stupid..

I hope some of you can help me with this, and hopefully I've put some spotlight on Poloniex..

Thanks.

This is the same stuff that they have been doing for ages now. Suspending people's accounts without notice and then telling them to contact support. When you do contact support though nobody is able to respond to you for some reason.

Can you please let us know where it says that you are able to do it? I don't think it's true personally because then any hacker can close down the account and get the coins out of the account. The whole point of suspending accounts in the first place is to prevent hackers.

Take this as a lesson, though. I feel bad for you, but please in future do not store everything you own in an exchange no matter how trustworthy it looks. Take for example BTC-e. A lot of people had the majority of their cyber earnings in BTC-e codes, and the future is quite uncertain.
3292  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo BCC on: August 06, 2017, 07:15:48 AM
Hi,

anyone using xapo?

would like to ask will getting 15 BCC with free? , i having 15 BTC in xapo wallet now.

Xapo will give you BCC or convert your BCC into BTC.

However when this happens is completely unknown. I think that the general trend is going to be very bearish for BCC because simply there are basically nobody accepting it for goods and services at the moment and has very little usage other than speculation.

So it's a pretty dirty trick played by Xapo, imo, not specifying the date this is going to happen. You could have cashed out at $400 per coin if you had your coin in a secure private key.

You should have really read the terms and conditions of Xapo's hard fork policies better before the fork. If they don't have specified dates on their timeline then don't store anything on their service. All you can do now unfortunately, is wait.
3293  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is the Nano Ledger safe? on: August 06, 2017, 07:04:30 AM
Well, currently it is safe.

But there is always a small chance that the manufacturer has bugged the device, have a backdoor to the private key etc. So really, in my opinion at least a cold storage wallet is only going to be as trustworthy as the manufacturer. But this does not apply only to hardware wallets, some people think that NSA has backdoors to your laptop that cannot be removed and if this was the case then your coins wouldn't be safe either.

Thing is that there is no absolute "safe" method of storing your bitcoins. There are infinite amounts of possibilities as to how your coins can be stolen. You can only compare the safety of two methods, and decide which one is safer.

Nano Ledger is safer than i'd say 99% of other ways of storing your coin. But is it worth the money? Up to you to decide.
3294  Other / Meta / Re: I just got banned!! But why? on: August 06, 2017, 06:59:51 AM
I guess it's because all your posts are in the off-topic section.

Plus they are all small replies.
This forum is based on bitcoins. So, you come here to talk about crypto.
But since you just come to talk nothing and try to rank up based on that, you got banned.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1073699;sa=showPosts

*That's my personal assumption which can totally be wrong.

so is this temporary?

Well, it depends. If it was really just unnecessary spam then usually it is temporary. But if it is a repeated occurrence afaik you'll get a permanent ban. From most of the meta threads that i've read it's usually a 14 day ban. I would say that spam was likely the cause of your ban, because all of your replies were just 1 liners in either off topic, BS threads or megathreads.

However since you were banned, you created this account and decided to post outside of meta. This qualifies as ban evasion, and Vod has tagged you for it.

Ban evasion will result in a permanent ban.
3295  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Simple PayPal to Btc on: August 04, 2017, 11:14:31 PM
Most likely a scam. OP if you are legit about your business then maybe you should think about keeping all dealings on the forum until you are able to gain some reputation, and only then create your own website.

You're using wix to host your site as well, it seems. So that's definitely another red flag, not wanting to pay for hosting or a .com domain.

If you aren't even interesetd in validating the legitimacy of your customers to ensure that they are legit before they purchase then maybe you will benefit from paxful trading. You're protected by escrow and you'll get probably better deals than you're offering.
3296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin penetrate the price of 3500 USD at the end of 2017 this? on: August 04, 2017, 09:33:21 PM
With the rise in bitcoin prices now when I made this topic has reached the price of 2769 USD, my hope can be translucent 3500 USD until the end of the year.

How do you respond about it, can or not bitcoin will reach that price?

$3500 can be achieved in my opinion. The trend of bitcoin price seems to be strongly in favour of the people holding a long position, and when SW gets locked in as well as activated this trend will only accelerate.

Obviously i'm not saying that you should definitely invest everything you owns. I'm all for hedging your bets and trying to diversify your portfolio as much as you possibly can to avoid potential losses. any amount under $5000 can be easily achieved by the end of the year, but you are indeed speculating.

Actually i think it all depends on whether bitcoin can break $3000 or not. If $3000 can be broken than $3500 is easy.
3297  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is exodus wallet safe? on: August 04, 2017, 09:59:05 AM
Exodus wallet has become really popular, but when i downloaded it i noticed that your receiving address dosen't change and i heard that is recommended to only use one address per transaction, why does this happen? why its safer to only use one address per transaction? i understand exodus is a hot wallet so should we be using it to hold a decent amount of btc?

With Exodus wallet you hold your own private keys and that means that you are completely safe. Your details are actually never ever stored on the Exodus servers. think of exodus as just a multi-coin electrum.

I've been using the wallet for like 3 months now, never had any problems with it and have been completely impressed by their customer support as well.

If i were you then i would definitely use this wallet without any concern for your funds. Founders are well known, identities are public.

Just a suggestion, maybe move this topic to service discussions.
3298  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until $3000 or any other ATH whatsoever? on: August 04, 2017, 09:51:13 AM
Price is recovering nicely now that it seems clear that segwit is going in and the hardforks are getting rejected. As long as we continue this path and nothing changes, the price should keep going higher with no stopping. How many years until we hit an ATH? Last time it was $2980 on Bitstamp, $2889.5 Bitfinex $3003 , it would be cool to get past $3000 on all of the exchanges this time.

Completely agreed. When segwit gets locked in later this month it will just mean that the price will only go even higher. I think that when this does happen, $3000 is just an arbitrary number. Price can definitely go even higher than that without any problems at all.

Right now when bitcoin cash goes down, bitcoin seems to go up still. But i believe that this correlation will soon be ending as bitcoin cash becomes more known as an altcoin than a legitimate fork of bitcoin.

If i was to give an estimate of when $3000 will be achieved, i'd say it'll probably be anywhere between december this year and march next year.
3299  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: August 04, 2017, 09:26:20 AM
MODERATOR SHOULD TAKE A "WARNING" NOTE

DON'T PUT ANY COINS THIS SERVICE, UNTIL THEY SOLVE THE PROBLEM, BUT LOOKS LIKE THEY TURNED INTO SCAM.
I GOT NO PRIVATE KEYS!!
I HOPE JUST A BUG....

thanks for that many "advertiser" user

Moderators cannot just simply put a warning notice on threads. The best you can do is to have a DT member tag Chipmixer's account until this is all resolved.

To me i think that it is probably some sort of bug that chipmixer's deveploment team just needs to wrap their heads around, nothing else. They have spent way more bitcoin advertising their services than just to scam an amount under 1 btc...

If you have a problem you should create a scam accusation based on your problem. That way you can get DT members attention...

If the problems are real then definitely, everyone should stop depositing until all problems are resolved.
3300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is fluctuating. Is it a high time to sell or buy? on: August 04, 2017, 09:21:26 AM
According to the charts in https://www.coindesk.com/price/ as of this time, price has been fluctuating slowly for the Bitcoin after the fork.
Is it time for Bitcoin holders to sell or hold on to their coins? Or to move and invest to the newly found Bitcoin Cash?

Honestly i do think that the price of each bitcoin right now might seem high but really is aquite a manageable amount. After all we haven't even broken the $3000 margin right now and i do think that whatever happens, we will at least be able to retest or most likely, break the $3000 margin.

Even after the bitcoin cash fork it seems like that the price of each bitcoin is only going up, not going down. This suggests that the trading activity seems completely healthy and that the people are extremely bullish about this.

Obviously if you cannot afford to keep holding then don't  do it. If you're just a holder worrying about some sort of instacrash, then honestly you shoudln't worry about it at all. Rather the price is just going to keep climbing.
