JayJuanGee, stop trying to downplay the fact that all or the majority of BTC's eggs have been placed in this basket called LN and as I just showed you, it's complete garbage.

as the entire BS 'feature' realm has ... but nobody cares and does due dilligence - but PoSM only
2382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 03, 2019, 07:59:37 AM
Afaik transaction malleability breaks LN.  So Segwit is necessary for LN as it fixes transaction malleability.  Also BIP 114 for MAST requires Segwit.

Meanwhile roach confuses LN and Liquid.

Nope, u could impl LN also on BSV Wink

I don't think BSV has LN?

Correct - it doesn't Need it, but it's technically doable proven by e.g. Ryan X Charles et al

LN or netting processing might be done by banks later...

During such very sensitive period of the crypto market, of bitcoin, ups or downs are totally depends on sneeze of whales. Whenever whales  look into the sky and sneeze, bitcoin and market will move up; whenever whales look on the ground, and sneeze, bitcoin and market will move down.

Did you read the title of the thread?

We are talking about Bitcoin here, not some stupid-ass shitcoin(s) that you seem to be referring to .... what is "crypto"?  Anyhow?

Call it btc and u ve some args.

U might breach Satoshi's copyright - don't ya?

If satoshi had wanted changes in bitcoin, he would have stuck around past 2010.

Perhaps. But he left. And rather than no changes, we had The SegWit Omnibus Changeset rammed down our throats. The biggest change ever to happen to the Bitcoin Protocol. Well, since being invented to begin with.

Segwit was a great thing to get passed, locked in and then implemented.  Bitcoin has been bullish as fuck since it beat the fuck out of those naysayers who were then (in mid 2017) calling for its demise due to NO plans for BIG BLOCKs... and they seemed to have gotten their asses handed to them, the bitcoin naysayer nutjobs, no?  Even though they are not dead yet, and the various shitcoiners and bitcoin attack vectors seem likely to pump again on the coattails of BIG DADDY, bitcoin.

Am I NOT koreck?

Segwit was the shitcoin created - and got Support only from ano anarcho speculants yet.

No buisness for P2P cash or even the funny new store of value Feature ever adopted it - and never will

U live in a PoSM cloud

an observation from Shelby:

Hope this is the last follow-up, because I really don’t want to be posting on this forum, but this is very important for readers. Want to make clear what our options are and what the reality of the situation really is.

Sigh, world s financial markets and regulations are not a wish concert.

And yes, it's pretty much overdone and overregulated , totally agreed

But how can u safely and sustainable change that to a better?

Try to offend it openly by using clear and obvious illegal protocols and expect world wide adoption?

Would that ever work knowing before there are 100s of analysts and cyber risks experts sitting on every such gateway where we see they can stop things and close down every that touches law by any means?

My point is that there’s nothing we can do to change the fact that satism will enslave those who want to participate in the statist economy. How can one honestly expect to partake in an evil thing and not be subject to evil? Of course statism is all about defection and cheating on each other via the collective, so of course everyone (other than the devout Christian) prefers to cheat than be honest with themselves.

Instead come out of the statism and only use cryptocurrency in the non-statist economy of like-minded (probably devout “superrational” Christians, because others will be “rationally” selfish and turn against you when convenient) individuals who refuse to report transactions to and source their services and goods from the statist economy. In that case anonymity is irrelevant, e.g. refer to everything as a gift which is for example excluded from taxation in the U.S.A.. Additionally if careful about meta-data and knowing your entire community is using the same ISP, then individual identity can’t be traced on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Better on-chain anonymity might be helpful for those who come out of the Great Harlot statism (yet not absolutely necessary), but it won’t help those who don’t come out of the statism, because statist economy meta-data will be impossible to scramble sufficiently.

Given that Bitcoin’s mutability can’t be challenged, per the game theory and economics of the SegWit donations attack that is coming, we have no option of adding on-chain anonymity to the store-of-value cryptocurrency which already has the most network effects and mining adoption that can’t possibly be superseded any more:

https://medium.com/@shelby_78386/secrets-of-bitcoins-dystopian-valuation-model-cbf95efa3542

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@anonymint/secrets-of-bitcoin-s-dystopian-valuation-model

The only competition now is potentially for a transaction volume scaling coin and for the reasons I explained on my above linked blog, the scaling coin can’t also be the hodler store-of-value coin.

And because adaptive block size is insecure (or trustless due to centralized control over parameters, which is thus insecure), it’s not even clear that a secure, trustless scaling coin can be constructed.

What is the correct strategy to get Bitcoin adoption world wide?

A ) btc with shit protocol changes and dropped signatures plus 2nd layer stuff against aml checks?

B ) bch going anarcho and dark protocol

C ) bsv, stay as clean as possible and openly go the most transparent and regulation friendly road map?

Whether you like it or not, the store-of-value coin is Satoshi’s immutable v0.5.3 protocol. And this will be enforced soon with the SegWit donations attack on the Core shitcoin. Per my first post in this thread (relayed via @infofront because this is very important), Craig is apparently claiming they will initiate Satoshi’s cleverly designed defense mechanism. So Craig is playing the role of fooling those mindless bunny rabbits (http://trilema.com/2018/how-to-piss-me-the-fuck-off-a-guide/) who idolize nonsense so much that they can’t even correctly interpret what Craig is really saying. This is again how Satan is giving people their free will as he corrupts them with idolization. You have your free will to correctly interpret that invariants of the reality here, or irrationally idolize what you wish would a snowflake reality.

Poor try to dispute deductive arguments by falling back to ppl name calling and 'Satan' summon of fear.. lol

Shelby did better in the past

2388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: June 02, 2019, 04:37:25 PM
Clarifications

Bitcoin Cash & Bitcoin SV both offer real scaling potential , as true scaling can only occur ONCHAIN.

Bitcoin Segwit using LN is not scaling, it is Offloading.
As BTC segwit offloads transactions to the LN network because the btc onchain network is inferior due to it's transaction capacity being purposefully limited by it's core devs.

bch dev forced changes into the base layer which caused a split.  These changes work incrementally to remove the miner competition from the BitCoin experiment.  In other words bch devs do not want BitCoin they want to destroy BitCoin but lock up the name "BitCoin" and associate it with crime etc.

Yep

They rather want checkpointcoin withs ctor dsv avalanche schnorr & moar

Nothing to to with legit orig BitCoin

There is only one that can be stable

The only anonymous payment option available in 2008 was cash, no cash payment option exits for domain registration.
Are you claiming no-one paid for the Bitcoin.org domain in 2008 or that court can not establish who made the payment?

Most likely any court can establish who made a payment.
Probably someone made a payment for it then (I haven't seen any proof, but let's say it's true).

Pretty certain it was not Craig tbh.
Even if the evidence - backed by a court - points that it was Craig, then most likely the court was conned, which makes another reason Craig will go to jail on multiple counts.

He is digging his own grave (out of greed & stupidity) if you catch my drift.

Doesn't matter

We all are certain that you just a poor anon troll here. Wanna destroy things u have no influence in.

https://twitter.com/TeamWinnaar/status/1134097569930514432

Follow legit things, not the electronic trolls, trying to prove funny things and promote coins with no signature (segshitcoin) under Bitcoin brand. These are the real scammers

Please, try to fill your blocks first, then try to make them work, & then maybe we can talk again.

Ppl come and use when capacity and stability is provided, as for a shop has to be created and filled with goods bevore u open.

Btc got just kicked out the shops and capacity, ready for dumb tulip speculators only.

Hello all,

this is to announce that we're awarding:
* 10 BTC to JoinMarket, for the first practical CoinJoin solution, and continued research into progressing this domain.
* 10 BTC to Wasabi, for building a more end-user accessible solution and larger adoption.

The remainder of the funds is left for future solutions with more ubiquitous impact on the ecosystem.

Welcome to finally kick out btc off the global markets ,  since global adoption only can happen with proper aml checks, but why I tell ya brainless

To be honest i don't really like any Bitcoin fork, but i'm happy to see Bitcoin SV rising, its a nice middle finger to all major exchanges who delisted it, becuase of a stupid action of CW. There should be no such thing to delist a coin coin because of stupid statement, be it a sh*tcoin or not.

It wasn't just one, but multiple stupid scam/unethical actions:

1) Releasing fake news on chinese social media that 30K BTC moved from original Satoshi wallet
2) Filing a copyright claim on Bitcoin code
3) Filing a lawsuit against Peter McCormack making his life difficult as it seems it will cost him at least $100.000 to get out of this
4) Asking hackers to dox Hodlonaut
5) Calvin Ayre making videos with underage girls dancing for him
6) Claiming that he is Satoshi with falsified and incomplete evidence, since 2015

This person is not Satoshi, neither he had any part at all in the begining.

Hello, I notice in your feed that you are a new speaker here.

1 Publication of false information on Chinese social media indicating that 30K BTC has moved from the original Satoshi portfolio
 publication is false.
- And who are you accusing? CW??!!

2 Filing a complaint for violation of the Bitcoin code.
- Maybe jealous! Maybe jealous! Surely they are all satoshite

3 filing a complaint against Peter McCormack his life is difficult because it seems it will cost him at least $100,000 to get out of it.
- The guy defamed him and tried to humiliate him on his podcast. CW offered not to attack him in exchange for an apology. The guy decided to do it on his own.

4 Ask the hackers at Dodon Hodlonaut.
- Where did you see that CW asks pirates for anything??! In public he asked to put a name on a tattoo so that his lawyers would send a letter of summons following the threats and defamation claimed by Hodlonaut. CW offered not to attack him in exchange for an apology. The guy decided to do it on his own like the other one before. Noted that he did the same with Roger Ver.

5 Calvin Ayre to make videos with underage girls dancing for him.
- Yep it's his private life, besides Calvin won his lawsuit against Coinrivet who went too far by assuming that all the girls were minors..... Moreover, the traditional Caribbean dances are certainly foreign to you.

6 Affirm that he is Satoshi with falsified and incomplete evidence since 2015,
- Did you check them yourself or do you follow them like a donkey?

this person is not Satoshi, and he played no part in the beginning.
- Do you claim to know Satoshi or to know what he thinks? Have you got the science infused maybe?

Enjoy yourself, go your way, go spit and spread your false slanderous rumours elsewhere in your ass.

There are people that come from a different background than you. Just because I delt with bullshiters and fraudsters my whole life it is easier to recognize when I see one. And since you ask there are hundreds of posts in bitcointalk you should read, where it is proven CW even edited threads in forums he was posting from 2009 to include cryptocurrency.

I shouldn't have to answer to someone like you but then again you might not be a shill, but instead someone that got caught in this web of lies. I give a 10% chance for that though. But being naive happens so I'm telling you, if you are truthful that you believe he is Satoshi you should seriously check any fact he provided as it is all lies.

I had same conversations with Bitconnect shills and I understand that a few people are being deceived. Always the replies were relevant with yours.
I remember even a colleague of mine was mad at me for calling Bitconnect the scam it was. But as all scams it can't grow a lot and it is exposed.

I understand the position you are in though. You got paid a few bucks to help someone scam his way to become a billionaire. Although I wouldn't do that even if my kids were starving I'd find a decent job and stop spreading evil.

Ur in boat with blockstreamadams then? Lol

Get ur facts strait, this is just the reaction to segwitconnect fraudsters.

Good u get started thinkin tho
