2381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Malware education - How to find hidden viruses & How does malware work on: May 05, 2019, 07:21:55 PM
I think the point of of malware education shod always introduce first on how to avoid them first before you even start and try to detect them by downloading some softwares. You see most victims here from malwares, spywares, amd viruses are always careless with the sites they visit and the things they click and download online they don't spend some time observing if what they are actually doing is safe.  These kind of people need to learn that not everything they find online are safe and maybe most of the sketchy things they find online will exactly do the complete opposite.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 05, 2019, 06:10:38 PM
Not being motivated to play a city derby against one of your biggest rivals like Juventus last night is pretty disrespectful for the fans.
Allegri keeps pushing Cuadrado in the starting 11, probably to see if he still has enough quality to be part of the team for next season. In my opinion he shouldn't be.
A player who definitely deserves more playing time is Leonardo Spinazzola. His runs on the left wing are a delight to watch compared to Alex Sandro who is better in defence but pretty clueless in attack.
There's really no point on showing your full efforts anymore on Serie A matches for Juventus, they already secured the 1st place by a huge margin and there is no reason to give your players the 100% effort fans are expecting on the rest of the matches. Remember their main goal supposedly was to win the Champion's League and that road is over for them this season so overplaying your stars would be a worst thing to do. For the fans I know its a sad thing to see but it will be even sadder if one of their players got injured showing their best on pointless matches.
2383  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: how to report bitcoin earnings on: May 05, 2019, 04:48:03 PM
You might need to separate form 1099s for that. Your earnings outside your employment must be reported under 1099-MISC and your capitals gains from you keeping the cryptocurrency mus be reported under 1099-DIV. Although you must ask yourself are your earnings will be significant in that one time pay for you to necessary report it? You might just be burdening yourself if you are just talking about a few hundred dollars here. If you really insist don't forget to just add some tax deductions related to form 1099.
2384  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Financial value of KYC verification on: May 05, 2019, 01:10:07 PM
So far I haven't heard or seen any news about Coinbase buying KYC, since in the first place they don't need to as they are already requiring their clients KYC to give it to them for their accounts to be verified. You maybe might just have misread some news about people buying verified accounts of exchanges with KYC of other people which is a prevalent thing happening right now not only in Coinbase but in other exchanges, just to remind you that this practice is illegal in every way and you are literally impersonating someone.
2385  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-02] New Investor Campaign Calls to Prepare for Future, Replace Gold wit on: May 02, 2019, 08:47:02 PM
You see why their ads/promotion won't work? They are specifically targeting people who are holding Gold when they should be targeting people who are trying to get into new forms of investments. Most gold holders know very well about their position and I don't think that they will just sell all their previous metals just to buy a virtual currency I even doubt that they can trigger some kind of interest towards them with just by saying to drop their gold and buy Bitcoin as it is the “replacement” for gold.
2386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits A Golden Cross on: May 02, 2019, 08:06:35 PM
After the price fall reaching around $5200 now there is good forward move with the price. The Golden cross is getting closer and soon we can see it getting crossed. This is the one that's been expected much by the users at present, following the event can expect a price crash before bull run which can be used for investment.

This correction should come soon, would be a good entry and perhaps a last chance to buy cheap to expect large values such as 7k or 10k
If we are talking about a golden cross I don't think we can expect a correction anytime soon at least if it failed to cross that is when we can expect to see some price drop soon, if Bitcoin as of right now is still trying to push upwards even though it had some dips back to the 5,000$ level it still shows that generally the movement of Bitcoin is trying to go up and break a resistance. Just by looking at its MACD on its daily chart you will see that Bitcoin is still bound to create a bullish cross which I think we all know what it does for Bitcoin's price movement.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just launched our site and looking for feedback! Temtum.com on: May 02, 2019, 07:11:39 PM
Honestly, I'm just tired of seeing these kinds of website UIs in which even though the design, colors, and animations are entirely different it still screams "generic ICO" which I think for a real investor would give a bad impression. Don't get me wrong everything looks good about your site's U.I. I just grew tired seeing the same interface again and again, it's like the whole ICO making community created a set standard to make their websites entire look a like.
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYPD: Bitcoin thieves posing as government officials have stolen over $2M on: May 02, 2019, 06:20:16 PM
This isn't new, the mode of payment might be new but the scam for impersonating that you owe the government something has been running for years. Just go at Youtube and search for "IRS pranks" or "Indian SSA pranks"  you will see a lot of this videos on how the scam goes down. Usually they ask for Gift cards ranging from Amazon to Apple gift cards and this is their way for you to "repay" your debt in the government. Now they found a more convenient way to scam people a way that people they are calling might already have which are cryptocurrencies. Scams like this won't stop not until there are no people being victimized by it.
2389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't read it if you get offended easily. on: May 02, 2019, 04:15:21 PM
I think thisbis the part for a newbie in which they have just to accept it. The higher ranking members are free to criticize whoever they want at the same time since they too when they are at your rank have been treated the same way. Think of it like the rookies being hazed by veterans in sports, rookies are treated worse but they know they'll have their time to do the same. It might not be your ideal welcoming in the forum but I think its their way of telling you to be better in the forum.
2390  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to replace USD reserves with Bitcoin on: May 02, 2019, 03:14:09 PM
Even if they do I don't think that they'll be there to hodl Bitcoin in the long term but just to pump and dump. Obviously with their big money moving in they themselves know that they have the ability to influence the prices and the also know that the market confidence decreases quickly once Bitcoin reaches to a certain point. They'll be smart to do so since even if they have a big influence in the market Bitcoin still is a volatile cryptocurrency to hodl like a fiat currency.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: May 02, 2019, 01:42:03 PM
I think the reasons they have gave doesn't only apply to crypto gambling sites since even users of exchanges and wallets services always gave out that reason when they don't want to provide it. With that being said I really don't like the idea why they still continue to think that being anonymous is still an option for us now that majority of the governments has been made fully aware of the situation thus making a anonymous industry is now entirely possible.
2392  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-30] Millennials Are the ‘Driving Force’ of Bitcoin Ownership: Survey on: May 01, 2019, 08:46:16 PM
This isn't surprising at all the previous generation which is the GenX is not the ones who have been born just in time when the technology has settled in. Millenials are the ones in the right place and in the right time just when gadgets such as computers and phones have been popular thus making them one of the most technologically inclined generations. Aside from technology they are also the risk takers when it comes to investments as they are trying to become rich fast and one of the most popular ways for them is through the crypto market.
2393  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion on Merit system. on: May 01, 2019, 07:40:42 PM
Before you even suggest something in the META section you must as yourself how will this benefit the forum in its entirety? or even how will it even make sense for the rest? Because from the looks of it you just want to rank up fast for less work. It's like you are asking theymos to choose quantity over quality here and judging by how the ranking system was mess up back then as if we don't have a Merit system at all with what you are proposing. Plus why would you even reward activity points when it automatically goes up every two weeks naturally just by being an active poster here in the forum.
2394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] The BTC Dominance Chart & How To Read It on: May 01, 2019, 05:02:25 PM
Just speaking out of my experience here you see the thing is with BTC's dominance chart you can't really have a foresight on what is really happening, what it means is prices are either going up and down even after its chart it will say that is happening. So really Bitcoin's price dominance chart cannot really be useful in a day to day trade in which you want to jump over on something that hasn't move yet, it's like one of those indicators that couldn't tell anything at all.
2395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: April 30, 2019, 09:24:56 PM
$5K was never an important S/R level historically. We tested it once on the way up in 2017, and otherwise these low $5,000s haven't really been tested much at all. We need to conquer the long term pivots ~ $5,750-$6,000 and hold above those to suggest anything about a bull market. Not looking at Bitfinex charts either!

That may not seem very far away, but I think there's enormous selling pressure waiting to come in if/when we get there. If bulls manage another wave up, I'd be ready for a wick through $5,800 that gets sold down hard.
I do have to agree with you, ever since I saw Bitcoin broke the 6,000$ support level since last year it has easily go down way past the 5,000$ level without any hesitation going to 3,000$ level. If we really wan't to see Bitcoin in the up trend or at least confirm a reversal we should see it go back above 6,000$. If we take our time a little longer here in the 5,000$ we might just see that Bitcoin move up on another consolidation level which I think is the most likely case if no notable movements happen for this month of May.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Youtubers promoting bitcoin unexpectedly on: April 30, 2019, 08:31:01 PM
These famous Youtubers/vloggers you are talking about are not only shooting random videos if you think of it most of them now have directors, editors, and researchers planning on what they will post next and that is counting what they will say in front of the camera. Yes we might be surprised that they too mention things about Bitcoin but the truth is they already know that the viewers themselves know a thing or two about it since they are able to relate about it. It may spark a little curiousity for first time watchers but I doubt they would have an interest about it if they are just their watching for unboxing videos.
2397  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [YOUR OPINION] How can $500 be used most effectively when it comes to marketing? on: April 30, 2019, 07:42:56 PM
500$ wouldn't even last for month's worth of signature campaign here, and that campaign's duration would depend on how many participants you have and what their rank is. But if you are willing to sacrifice higher ranks joining in your campaign maybe you could have low ranking members wanting to participate it. But to be honest with you 500$ isn't really big to have a work around if you could at least bump the price higher maybe your signature campaign would have a successful run here, if not you could always resort to buying ad placements which I think will be a much more effective marketing plan for your budget.
2398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont think beginners should start with airdrop anymore on: April 30, 2019, 06:25:35 PM
You are definitely right. The way I see it is if a newbie started with airdrops or in any kind of bounty campaign they'll be only hindering their learnings from the true way in the crypto world. They'll be stuck on waiting here seeing for newly posted ANN threads just to participate in all of them when if they want to really earn they should study about trading or even mining which I haven't seen on a person who started first at earning something they are satisfied with, if they want to grow then they should give up some time on airdrops and spend more of it on reading.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 29, 2019, 06:29:48 PM
James Harden played bad today he made 9 out of his 28 shots and that includes 4 three pointers made out of 16 shots, the only reason he made 35 points tonight was the 13 free throws he made. He played so bad that even P.J. Tucker who has 0 pts in the match had a higher +/- rating than him. If he keeps this up than I don't think Houston would even win one game even at their home as this team shouldn't rely on Harden doing the work as they know that GSW will be focusing on shutting him down.
2400  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economics of Digital Cryptocurrencies and the Blockchain on: April 29, 2019, 03:38:19 PM
Christian Catalini is by far the most neatral economist I have ever seen in an interview. He is way different ckmpared to the most traditional economists we have as his perspective is way different because he view cryptocurrencies has a viable way to be part of our daily life and it has proven it to be useful in our world. Unlike how other economists sees it that they will start saying Bitcoin is a bubble or cryptocurrencies has no fair value Christian Catalini had a different approach in the subject and he had explained it perfectly including Blockchain technology.
