1421  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is spotify premium upgrade something that people will buy? on: February 10, 2020, 06:45:43 PM
Makes me think now I need to look into what all these kids are charging me and find out if I can just get it all cheaper. Hate paying free money to services like that. Plus I need to catch up with times... now to find a Bitcoin-accepting avenue...

Spotify Premium Family isn't actually being heavily promoted in the United States so I don't wonder why some of you might not know it yet and from what I know Spotify's subscription plans in the US is one of the most expensive plans as compared to my country where the same plan I mentioned is roughly equal to 4$, the only downside is just like Netflix some songs aren't accessible to me.

Makes me think now I need to look into what all these kids are charging me and find out if I can just get it all cheaper. Hate paying free money to services like that. Plus I need to catch up with times... now to find a Bitcoin-accepting avenue...

Well I'm glad that I have somehow helped you eliminating some monthly bills on your side. If you looked it now in the internet or just based it in the ads you'll see no ads about Premium Family since this plan will just cannibalize their own market.
1422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice on relevant subjects for this area on: February 09, 2020, 08:47:13 PM
If you are asking for job purposes it will depend on the career path you are aiming to take since generally just having a computer science related degree is enough to get you going with the job, the courses you will take now will just be considered the fundamentals you have on taking your job/career. The others which you won't be wasted since all of those can be learn during or on your job. Don't worry about this too much and take the subjects you are interested in since even if you get accepted on a job they will still train you with additional lessons that may include what you have missed during your course. And also just think about it this way IT and computer science related courses are really on the job and they'll take anyone who is capable and who knows what they are talking about and they'll try to train you to be better.
1423  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC vs Telegram Group Inc on: February 09, 2020, 04:19:01 PM
The problem here is even if Grams have been launched in their TON network I don't see Grams as a mode of payment in any where in the app, making me suspicious of their real purpose for Telegram, the absence of usage for it being a cryptocurrency as a payment only means that it's only function is as a security token which has direct ties with their company. I'm still at a lost though if their token has other functions for a security token such as paying dividends for their holders which I haven't seen an article pointing about that. The document OP provided hasn't even directly classified Grams as some kind of security token but merely an illegal public offering which can be both violated by STOs and also IPOs.
1424  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is spotify premium upgrade something that people will buy? on: February 09, 2020, 02:10:59 PM
You'll have some takers but I highly doubt that it will be a lot. You see what you are competing with is a specific subscription from Spotify itself and that is Spotify Premium Family which will only cost 5$ more that allows 5 more members (6 including you) in that account. 15$ shared by 6 people will only cost them 2.5$ each, so if you can't beat that kind of plan or pricing then don't expect that people will be flocking to subscribe with what you have since Spotify is offering a  more direct way of doing it without any third party sellers involved.
1425  Economy / Reputation / Re: Not fair red trust on: February 09, 2020, 11:52:32 AM
Another moron put me a red trust for no reason. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=30747

Why moderators do not ban such people who make negative trusts to people?

I'm actually trying to help you with my previous post in your thread, however you are not replying about it. I'm asking you why yakin102 posted in his Youtube video's description that his video was permitted by you when his upload date is much older compared to your video. If you keep dodging fair and reasonable questions from us then your tag will be permanent as you'll fail to convince anyone. Still the point of Rikafip you plagiarizing content still stands while you are focusing to remove your tag without doing anything to help clarify some things.
1426  Economy / Reputation / Re: Not fair red trust on: February 08, 2020, 10:10:13 PM
I don't know how I see this problem clearly since if you look at the Youtube video coming from yakin102 and look at the video's description you will see this in the description.

Permission to use this video "Emeka okolí" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?act...

He is the author. I posted a video from myself at his request.

So I don't know why he is stating that he was permitted by you, EMEKA OKOLI, when the Youtube video of yakin102 is uploaded on a much earlier date compared to yours. So the way I see it is you are somehow contacting yakin102 to say that it is your own work or one more possibility is that you are just one person managing those two accounts, simply there is no way I see that he have uploaded the video first yet you own the original content but uploaded it at second.
1427  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What are the most viral crypto projects on: February 08, 2020, 07:43:39 PM
Since OP is asking for "crypto projects" in general let's not limit ourselves to only ICOs and Scamcoins since even crypto exchanges and scam cloudmining sites can also be counted as one. Last year we all have heard about QudrigaCX and their users' misfortune brought to by the death of their owner who took the keys for the exchange's cold wallet with him, the news about him and their exchange went viral pretty quickly since we are talking about millions of dollars which is unrecoverable. Cloudmining sites that also made an exit scam made it into the headlines like how Hashocean suddenly disappeared without a trace, they stole a lot of money from their users as well. When we are talking about them going viral I agree to what others have said, you'll create more noise doing bad rather than good publicity for their project.
1428  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is this Localbitcoins alternative - localcryptos.com? on: February 06, 2020, 08:30:40 PM
No KYC... until the site becomes big and popular...

Localcryptos.com isn't currently a good target to be bothered by regulations and institutions but if a day the site becomes as popular as LBC don't worry you can be sure it will have to abide by the AML laws like any others, unfortunately.

They probably don't have any KYC as of the moment since LocalCryptos ,formerly known as LocalEthereum, is based in Australia where their AML guidelines for the crypto industry is pretty loose compared to US or European countries where unlike LocalBitcoin or any crypto exchange will be operating locally they'll be instantly have a KYC requirement issued by the government. Yes you are right if they'll be more popular in a sense that they'll have more customers from those countries with strict guidelines it will be inevitable for them to be KYC free just like ShapeShift suddenly becoming a KYC required exchange. As for the exchange itself I don't see any bad reviews as of right now and I don't think it's bad to try it out as this is a good KYC free exchange alternative.
1429  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade without fees on: February 06, 2020, 06:15:53 PM
A crypto exchange fooling people that they have zero fees? Yet the truth is the only thing that they aren't earning a commission on is from deposits to fund their account which I don't think any crypto exchange do. No crypto exchange will be charging their customers just to fund their account so I really don't get why you are trying to promote that you have zero fees. You charge them with market orders for both makers and takers and you will also be charging them for their withdrawals. For anyone reading this false advertisement for their site is already enough to see that they can't be trusted not even with your KYC since they are already misleading you with their fake charges.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US marshals seizure of 4000 btc being auctioned, will start dump/run this month? on: February 05, 2020, 06:50:45 PM
It's an auction whoever the buyer will be he will be indicating it's fair value and I don't think anyone in that auction will be lowballing anyone since they know it will be easier for them to liquidate it after they won the price I'm sure that their buying price will be close to the current market value for Bitcoin. If they bought it at near market value it will just be a dumb part on them if they decided to sell it quickly just to earn a few hundred dollars or less so no I don't think that this auction will cause any kind of ripple effect in the market since it will just be like a whale buying thousands of BTC in an exchange which he will just hold them off to earn when the next significant price movement comes.
1431  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchanges to practice for free? on: February 05, 2020, 05:47:23 PM
I don't know any reliable crypto exchanges here that can give you fake crypto to do mock trades but maybe a cryptocurrency portofolio management app like Blockfolio would be a good alternative for doing it. Since you'll just be creating your own mock portfolio of your trades you can easily copy your buy and sell records with it and the good thing about it is you can also mimic the fees and commissions exchanges have which will give you a more accurate reading on what your mock trades are. I know the fun in pushing orders won't be their but you are just here to study and do some trial and error with what you have learned which I think a portfolio management app can do for you plus you'll also learn how to manage you crypto well with it.
1432  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Investment on: February 05, 2020, 04:43:12 PM
I don't know if what you are saying is true but I think you are mixing up trading into investing since algorithms are mostly used in identofying technical indicators in every price movement an asset make. In investing what only matters is your entry point and the price you will sell it which of course will only happen when you are hodling on a long-term period. Other than that you have also said that you are experiencing gains on a weekly basis which isn't in the nature of investing since profits of that kind in a short period only happens in trading. Next time if you want people to believe in what you are saying about you gaining “knowledge” on something you must prove it without making a mistake in your writing.
1433  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: February 04, 2020, 08:22:00 PM
I guess people are getting tired because it has been a long time since they said they will do something but they have done nothing different, yet rushing won't help it neither. I understand that maybe bitdice is a bit late to the party and they should have done something already, that is an understandable complaint about them and I have nothing to say to that.

And what do you expect them to do just because they aren't the first ones to have weekly contests in their gambling site? It's never too late to implement features that other sites already have, they can do this in order to remain competitive in the crypto gambling industry this is simply their way to still grab some market share from their competitors. Once they start to roll out their weekly contest I know for sure that they'll have more players constantly playing their games and will also have new ones because of the regular contest. This in turn will also make the site grow as well as maybe have bigger rewards because of the growth they'll be having. I've seen this in some gambling sites before and I know that BitDice and any other gambling site can still grow and maybe overtake others when it comes to having active players.
1434  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-28] Your Bitcoin Should Be Seized to Pay for Climate Reparations on: February 04, 2020, 06:53:19 PM
Lawmakers' views on cryptocurrencies being bad for the environment shows us just how bad they want to take more and more money out from the industry. They have been using this reason for at least 3 years now and they always completely ignore other areas that are damaging out mother nature more, it just shows how bad they want more piece of the pie or how badly they just want to get rid of it all. @OP you are right to say that if they want to be a good environmentalist they must not exempt any contributors to pollution and must also pay for the damages they have done, but the thing is here we are also be the one who will be burdened ones these  oil companies and factories will be paying climate reparations.
1435  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZUCOINCHAIN FAKE TEAM on: February 04, 2020, 06:06:35 PM
~snip~

I don't even wish to write further. It's okay, good luck with your thoughts. Where else should the article be posted then? From which angle does it look like ANN Thread? It was an article but great it's labeled as ANN. There was no ANN thread created yet simply because development is incomplete. Who give this user the right to take out images from the site? It was not posted anywhere, so one can't even test it on his own site just because of such crazy heads? If this is the way of judging then great search more, as it will help him beg more merits like that because majority of sites are done like that.

I am not even wasting my energy on making excuses for people like you. Good luck, add some more merit from my side as well.

Like I said it doesn't matter if your post was a website or not the important thing hew is you have a link to your project which let the OP find some dirt on you and he was right on finding it out. If you think the OP violated or did something illegal when he grabbed that screenshot from your website, he didn't. This cannot be considered as a copyright violation nor plagiarism as he is using those screenshots to give his findings on the fake team you have and it is considered fair use, and to top it all your website is made public and literally anyone has access to it which means anyone other than him will be able to find the fake team you have. If I were you don't look at your case in anymore angle since you'll just have a hard time defending yourself and your project.
1436  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZUCOINCHAIN FAKE TEAM on: February 03, 2020, 08:47:59 PM
Get your medical checkup. It's not ANN thread, it was an article. Those images were not even posted since it was in development stage. Only the article was posted which had no images you put up. Kudos to Coolcryptovator too for giving you Merit for it without even looking at what you have put up.

Even if this wasn't an official "ANN Thread" you still put it up on display in the Altcoin board particularly in the service section of that board, which means you still promoting the token with your announcement thread. And also even if this wasn't an official ANN thread for your project the point of this scam accusation is your website containing a fake team for your project. You have used stock photos found in the internet to create a fake identity for your team which for any project out there is a red flag for being a fake project. Save your excuses that those images wasn't put up in your website or your site is still in "development", OP already have screenshots and also an archived copy of your website showing that you used those images.

Since OP did a great job on busting you, Ill also be giving him merits for it.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How diversified are you in Altcoins in Q1 2020? on: February 03, 2020, 07:01:22 PM
It's good to see that the majority of the people here even if this is an Altcoin board still allocates the majority of their money to Bitcoin. And the truth is it's good to stay this way since it's too early for them to jump out of the price movement just to redistribute their money to altcoins especially when they are lagging when it comes to Bitcoin's movement. As for having an Altcoin season early in this Q1 of 2020 I don't see it from happening as long as Bitcoin isn't finish on completing any major retest in the next resistance level.
1438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: February 03, 2020, 05:43:03 PM
At the end of the day KYC is something we can't escape so really the only way of protecting our personal information is to whom we are handing out with. 1miau did a really good point on saying you just don't give your KYC to any kind of service and project out there since you can't really trust all of them especially the ones who have a shady background. At least with the reputable ones the only concern you can have when it comes to KYC is from leaks and hacks from happening in their exchange which I think is the best option you have when it comes to the crypto industry. Not unless we have some new and enhanced level of regulation when it comes to KYC safeguards from these services we cannot expect our data from leaking somehow.
1439  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] 2019 Bitcoin Forum's Newbie of the Year on: February 02, 2020, 07:39:16 PM
This is a hard one if we are only talking about merits earned and their trust score Rikafip will be winning this award with a mile ahead against geophphreigh, zasad@, and efialtis. zasad@ even though has a higher merit compared to Rikafip he is a more trusted member and even if geophphreigh is more trusted Rikafip has more merits compared to him so really Rikafip has the advantage in both of them. This might be two of the biggest factors that would say who will be winning this award. So @OP and for any other members reading this, aside from merits and trust scores what other factors should we try to consider in order to know if other newbie members here can stand a chance against Rikafip?
1440  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Who is behind KYC info? Why we don't ask them for KYP? on: February 02, 2020, 06:14:55 PM
"KYP" exists and maybe you just don't realize it by now, these businesses won't even be legal if they haven't submitted the appropriate documents needed to be fully operational in their country. Before one can even erect their business they must provide things such as their articles of incorporation, certificate of business registration, valid IDs, Proof of address and dozens more that if they screw up it will be easier for them to be found. All of the information they have provided to the government will also be accessible to you if you know where to find them such as their SEC's website or a company registration list in your country.
