241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 17, 2024, 05:37:13 PM
Not directly with the diet but Los Angeles Clippers just can't stop Zion Williamson on that night. It was pointed out by Tyron Lue after the game that Zion is not just an inside scoring machine but can also hit shots from the perimeter. Currently, Zion is still not concerned about his diet as long as he can perform well as for him, there's no problem lol.

If he cares about his diet now, there should be no clause about the mandatory diet on his current contract.

The first time I heard given for a player lol.
It's just good to see the key players of Pelicans playing for most of the season.
I already knew that a healthy Zion will change the whole team, and we are seeing currently as they are only 1.5 games behind the 4th seeded Clippers.

This is the reason why the Pelicans gave him another chance this season after years of having some problem with him like his diet, injuries, etc. With regards to his diet, I guess if he can't really change his diet then let's just hope that he will not get injured especially now that there are only a few games remaining on the regular season, and it seems like they will clinch the playoffs this time.

Houston Rockets are preparing to give a new contract to Alperen Şengün. If he gets a max contract, Alperen can earn $225 million in 5 years. Alperen, who increased his statistics this season, deserves to receive a max contract. It's not easy to find such a good center. If he gets this contract, Alperen will make history in Turkish sports. The Turkish athlete will be the one who earns the most. And he's still very young. He has already become a player who will write his name in history.
TBH, his stats jumped every single year ever since he played with the Rockets. From 9.6 PPG in 2021-2022 NBA season to 14.8 PPG in 2022-2023 NBA season to now averaging 21.1 PPG. It's a huge jump in terms of stats. Now is he worthy of a max contract? Well, the kiddo has future and can just be the reliable center for the Rockets for quite some time. He's been called "Baby Jokic" for a reason, so I guess he's worthy of it.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Making people more profitable than Alts on: March 16, 2024, 06:37:42 PM
All meme coins are under altcoins. They only have a different category, but anyway...

Now, it's much different. It seems to be that many may have learned from past mistakes and are approaching meme coins differently. Meme coins emerging from the Solana ecosystem, for example, have proven profitable for many. This bull run, coupled with the rise of meme coins, is bringing joy to many investors. So, which meme coin did you invest in that made you profitable how were you able to achieve that, and which one did you FOMO into this quarter?
None.
Even though I re-allocated my total crypto portfolio, and invested on lower market cap coins as compared to what I'm doing most of the time which is to invest in the top coins, I didn't even think of holding meme coins for long run. Obviously, I didn't make any profit in investing in meme coins, but I made losses on it. Cheesy FOMO into this quarter? None as of the moment, but I might be buying a meme coin that I will be holding for this upcoming bull run if I feel that I need to. Cheesy

~
First thing I do is;
I go to Dexscreener then CMC, to look at some solana memecoins and see their movement like BOME just bought it. I never knew it will go that high and get so much attention and become one of the Sol top meme then its listing on Bitget has made it surged over 700% or so and then Binance announcement on having its derivatives available made it surge more. That's one beautiful thing of buying a memecoin before the noise comes in.
I visited the website, and it seems like you will find some meme coins out there that can give you profits.
On the other hand, it's all about luck still, and you're lucky that you made profits by investing into BONK, and now BOME. Aside from luck, risk also comes in as well because without risking, you will not get any profits. For me, with the tip that you shared I might find a meme coin out there, and invest some of my money into them hoping to get some profits if it goes popular. Cheesy

Overall, meme coins can really be more profitable than other alts out there, but always take note that the higher they rise, the lower they can fall, and we might see some meme coins out there rug pulling those investors or we might see meme coins going down really hard after rising up in price. You can make more money in meme coins than other altcoins out there. It's just that it's hard to predict which coins will go up, and boom, but that's what make investing exciting. Cheesy Meme coins can change your life either negatively, or positively. Smiley
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 16, 2024, 06:19:54 PM
I keep hearing things like we could spike to 200K really quickly and stuff like that, maybe in just weeks.

My question is when will you guys start to sell if we have a major spike?
$200K? It might happen, but the chances are pretty low TBH. The more realistic peak that can happen is around $150,000. Only me, and other people's prediction. Smiley
When will I sell? My starting selling price is $100,000 then I'll do it again when it reaches $120,000. If it will not reach $150,000 for some reasons and it chooses to go down already, I will sell all of my assets when it hits $100,000. At that time, I'm not holding any Bitcoin anymore aside from maybe 0.001 BTC that I'll be holding for maybe longer (might sell it on the next bull run).

I used to think I wanted to sell at 100K, but this is rising so fast I have been thinking more like 150K to start selling.

How will you sell, slowly into a spike or wait for a set price and just dump.
Always set a selling price, and whatever happens, sell at that price.
As long as you have profit on it then it's all good. You can sell a portion of your Bitcoin holdings at $100,000 if you want to, and sell the other ones when it goes up even more. How will I sell? I already said it. It's kind of like DCA but selling instead of buying. Set selling price targets, but I would suggest to start selling at $100,000 because we might see some selling pressure there.
244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 16, 2024, 05:51:55 PM
Now I am profiting from my Bitcoin investments then and one of my colleagues is now in dear need of financial help, he needs some help, not life-threatening but money, and now I am not ready to loan him any money as long as it affects my overall Bitcoin holdings.
You're not bad. It's just that, you don't want to use your investment to give it to your friend as a loan. If I'm in that situation, I'll do the same as well.

You also said that it isn't a life-threatening problem, so I guess he can do something with that. He can just ask a loan on the bank, or on other people that he knows. I will not give any of my relatives any loan as well if that involves my overall holdings whether it is my crypto or stock holdings. Of course, it will be a different decision if it's life-threatening because there's a chance that I might liquidate all of my assets if that's the last option. You're not bad if you didn't gave your friend a loan. You're just aware that the bull market is coming, and you don't want to liquidate your holdings because you might miss those profits.

This whole event taught me a great lesson that, instead of eating and spending your money as a newbie, there is a better chance of holding Bitcoin,  because in the future you have financial freedom.

What are your thoughts let learn together.
It depends.

I mean you can eat outside, and spend your money into something that you want as long as you are not spending "ALL" of it on that. If you are spending all of your money into something that you don't really need then there's a problem with you. You can still eat outside or spend on things you want as long as you keep a portion of your money for investing whether it's on Bitcoin or whatever asset class it is. Don't deprive yourself too much just because you want to have money to invest with, and at least balance it. Smiley
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is really unexpected on: March 16, 2024, 04:53:11 PM

Due to these winnings, I might stay playing on this website a little longer. I feel like my luck hasn't run out yet.

For some who recently had an unexpected experience or winnings in gambling, kindly share yours to inspire those who think they are unlucky in gambling.

Disclaimer: I am not part of the BC game team, this is also not to advertise them but simply to give specific information about my story.
The bolded text is what I also felt when I was winning in gambling. Yes, I experienced some losses as well, but there are times where I'm winning, but when I'm winning, I always feel that I want to gamble on that site again because I also feel that I still have a little bit of luck.

Ending? I lost my money, and I feel that I want to put even more money to recover that losses, and I put more money, and I lost. Cheesy Kind of funny, but that was the old me. I already know when to stop if needed. Anyway, congratulations to you OP for winning on that site, and buying the thing that you wanted to buy. Like you, I also tried playing on the first site (Bingo Plus) with only a dollar and I lost which is expected already. Cheesy I didn't play again because I might get addicted on it.

You're saying you're not a part of the BC game team, but you're indirectly promoting them already. Wink Kidding aside, gambling can really make the unexpected to happen. Sometimes, when you feel that you will win in gambling, the opposite might happen and vice-versa. After all, gambling is like how price moves in cryptocurrency. Unpredictable. Cheesy
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 16, 2024, 04:37:23 PM
~
This is the time to buy before the bull run really gets going. This MIGHT be the lowest it gets. While a deeper fall during this correction, or another correction in the near future, is certainly possible, this might also be as low as it gets. After the near future, the only time it might get this low again is in like two years on the next bear market, and these prices may be the bottom of the bear market.

So anyone who has money sitting on the sidelines and who wants to buy Bitcoin, today is gonna likely be one of the lowest days we're gonna see for at least the next 18-24 months, and maybe forever! Buy!
Might be the lowest that it gets? You might be right, but you might be wrong as well. Wink After all, we are all just predicting.
I believe that there is a chance that Bitcoin might even go lower than $66,000 after the Bitcoin halving a few weeks from now.

It's only my prediction but that's what happens on the last Bitcoin halving event, and the event before. A bit of a correction before it goes up. I will agree with you though that this correction is another opportunity for us to buy Bitcoin at a lower price. So much so that I bought some already when it was I think at the $67,000 price. Anyway, I also kept some USDT just in case Bitcoin really goes down even more after the halving event.

It's good to see Bitcoin making some correction after that unexpected rise in price. TBH, I'm a bit surprised with that rise because I can't think of any reason as to why it happened aside from the fact that investors are greedy at that time thus, they are buying Bitcoin, making it's price go up. For me, every dip = opportunity so always take advantage of it. Smiley
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: March 14, 2024, 07:31:57 PM
~
I have high expectations that bitcoin will reach 100k but will it reach 100k without any major decline in price? Does it seem realistic that from 70k, bitcoin will continuously rise up?
Just a few hours ago, we've seen a major drop in the crypto market. We've seen Bitcoin dropped below $70,000 and currently at $69,731.83 based on Coingecko.
TBH, I expected for a correction after we've seen consecutive price increases on the price of Bitcoin.

We all have high expectations that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 anytime during the bull run, but don't expect that it will be a smooth ride. Expect some price corrections. Maybe not major decline in prices like a double-digit percentage drop, but at we will see some market corrections along the way. I don't think that Bitcoin will stay below $70,000 for quite some time since I see that price as a psychological support already, but if it does happen then at least the market is giving those investors another opportunity to buy Bitcoin again at a lower price.

Take note that dips = opportunities. Market corrections = opportunities for investors to buy even more in preparation for the bull run.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 14, 2024, 06:40:03 PM
And the Mavs won against the Steph Curry and Draymond Green less Warriors. But they have to pay the price as Luka went down with a left hamstring soreness so he will be questionable against the OKC in their next game. And so the triple double streak ended as well.
I hope he is fine and he will be back soon because he is playing at an MVP level this season, he has a chance to win an MVP award.
Luka makes this team better, without him things will be different.

Wait, Gafford's 100% FG percentage streak is still active? This game he is 5-5/
Yes the streak is still active. Currently, he has made 33 field goals without any miss in his last 5 games. Current record is held by Wilt Chamberlain with 36. Well, I hope that it will be broken by next game.

Another one to note on that game is that, the one who posterized during their last game got posterized as well. I'm talking about Jackson-Davis who got posterized by Gafford. Anyway, as for Luka's injury, it seems that he will be out in their next game against OKC because of that hamstring injury. He got the record already of 7 straight triple-doubles already, and that's a record that's kind of hard to break. Luka has been always in the top 5 in terms of the MVP race this season, and with his past performances, his rankings might go up TBH.

As for him winning the MVP, I don't think so especially now that they're at the play-in spot. For me, there's a chance that Jokic might get it again especially if the Nuggets will again get the top seed after the regular season.

Dallas needs a big man and Gafford was the real answer. For him, life is easier as Luka is good at passing on the pick and roll everytime he gets doubled.
Easy money, reason why Gafford FG percentage can't drop.
They're constantly upgrading, and getting new players every season. Their problem last season is getting a reliable big, and they got Lively as well as Gafford. I just don't know why the hell they are still at a play-in spot. I guess the toughness of the competition in the West is the main reason isn't it?

Sadly, Alperen Sengun is out for the season. Let's see if Jabari Smith and Fred VanVleet could still scare those above them. Cheesy
Kind of unfortunate TBH especially now that he's their one of the go-to guy when it comes to offense. With this one, I guess they will not get that 10th spot anymore. I will remember Sengun as the guy who got posterized by Wemby Cheesy.

Anyway, got some good news for those NBA fans out there. Pistons are on a 2-game winning streak currently.  Cheesy Cheesy
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 14, 2024, 06:05:19 PM
~
Is it right to tell your children all the investment you've made even when they're not yet matured enough? If no, At what age should they start knowing about those investment?
No. It's useless IMO because at the end, they might just ignore or forget about it. You can teach a child about investment, but as a parent, you must be creative enough so that they can still understand it even though they're still young.

Why tell it to children first when you have your wife/husband? Or your trusted relatives to share your investment at first place? Ok, sharing it with relatives is kind of risky, but just share it to your wife/husband. Share your investments with him/her, and if the worst thing comes that you unfortunately dies, he/she will be the one to tell it to your child/children. Telling it when they aren't matured enough is just a waste of time because after all, they're too young to digest that information.

There's nothing wrong with teaching the basics of investing to our children, but at least be creative, and be responsible as well. Like what some said, I guess don't jump and teach investing immediately, but teach them anything about money management.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 14, 2024, 05:26:49 PM
For quite some time now we have been hearing about savings and most people who are working in some oil firm or some civil servants so much believe on saving and their pension. What if those savings are turned into investment what do you think could be their results by now extremely rich or wealth?
No wonder teacher or lecturers are not wealthy due to their this mentality of thinking we hardly finds out a very wealth teacher across or locality.
Unfortunately, most of the old people right now aren't into investing right now. I see people here in our place who don't even know what's investment at all. What they only know is they need to save, and you know what's worse? They will put it into their bank account because they find their money safe it they will put it there. Yes, it will be safe, but the value will be eaten down by inflation.

I don't know the reason why old people aren't into investing, but what I know is that, back in the day, information regarding investing was very limited, especially at that time when the internet wasn't a thing. Nowadays, people can just go to the internet, and look for investments. Back in the day, it's hard to spread information, and maybe the only thing they know is saving for their retirement.

For long have been around here seems like people who belongs to this world think much of investment than savings while the real world focuses more on savings but if I could recall correctly, any money in savings doesn't yield and add to the account while investment is what gives us money or profits at every end of the day week or month irrespective of how little it could be it's better to have investment than savings.

What do you think?
It's more of a loss than yield TBH. We know how low the interest these banks are giving to people who save their money on them compared to how high the inflation is. This is the thing that most people don't understand. Most old people don't know about investing, and I don't want to generalize, but what I think is that they aren't even interested in investing at all, especially if they see that they know that there's a chance that they will lose their hard-earned money.

Well, I guess we're lucky that we weren't born at a time when information was very limited. Now we can just look at different investments online, a few clicks, and you're invested already. Information? There are many online. We're very lucky that the internet is already a thing and we can access everything online when it comes to investments.

^Fuck FTX they are robbing [words i cant say on this forum] and they are the reason why I lost it, now my money is to the government. Just know if Scam Bankrupt-Fried was with me IRL he would've given me my hard earned funds and maybe extra back to me long ago. My mental health has a whole lot to say to him.

People have lost worse sure, I've done almost everything I could to get it back ever, but any loss still sucks sadly. And nope I aint gonna be checking for the new value of the lost funds.
Well, it's part of investment that you lose money. You win money sometimes, you lose money sometimes, and yes losing sucks, but the best thing you can do is to just move on, move forward, and learn from it. Smiley

I guess I'm just lucky that I didn't invest a single penny on FTX because, at that time, I didn't want to hold not only FTX but exchange coins in general. Scam Bankman-Fraud is now in jail, and your money will be lost forever. As for mental health, I don't know if some of these are true, and this isn't only about FTX, but in general, some investors even committed suicide because of them getting scammed big time. I mean 5-digit and sometimes 6-digit losses. I just hope that you're OK now OP after you're losses with FTX.

It's insane to see how much crypto has increased but if you missed out and are stressed about it then don't be since it will eventually drop hard as always (no disrespect to anyone holding).
Markets move in cycles. It will go up, and it will go down. It's only a matter of how will you maximize the opportunities that the market is being given to us.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 14, 2024, 03:56:36 PM
~
Are you still buying anything or will think about it later after halving
My main strategy is to buy altcoins at least after the halving event, but if I see an opportunity to buy any of the top altcoins out there, I will not hesitate to buy them.
After all, I will still make a profit if I will just hold it for at least 6 months or even longer. I guess whatever the top altcoins I will buy, I will at least double my capital if I buy them.

With regards to some altcoins struggling to even reach their previous ATH, I've seen coins in the past that have pumped in price in 2017 but didn't reach that price again during the last bull run in 2021. I don't know if they will surpass it's previous ATH this bull run, but one thing's for sure. Most of the altcoins especially those at the top will at least double in price. Always look at the market if you have the money, and wait for the market to make at least a bit of a correction. From there, pick an altcoin that you want to buy, and hold it for months.

Altcoin season happens a few months after Bitcoin pumps in price. We know that altcoins follow the movement of Bitcoin's price, so if Bitcoin pumps, so do altcoins. Just buy now, hold and wait for the perfect opportunity to sell.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 12, 2024, 04:37:55 PM
~
However, I can't help but feel like we need more meme mania in the crypto space! These meme-coins have proven they can captivate investors and enthusiasts. Imagine if more platforms and projects embraced memes, hosting contests and challenges for the ultimate meme maniacs. It could engage communities, spark creativity, and even discover the next big memecoin sensation.

So with this, I'd like to ask. Have you come across any meme contests lately?
Even though I have a bit of hate regarding meme coins because they have no use-case at all aside from being a community token, I can't remove the fact that they are here to stay, and will give profits as well as losses to investors. I've seen meme coins being created on different chains over the past few weeks. Most of them I saw on Twitter.

Meme coin contests? I didn't hear of that. What I only hear is meme coins being airdropped to investors. Well, meme coins will be the topics of some people online, and we've seen platforms embracing these meme coins as well especially those famous exchanges that are accepting different meme coins into their exchanges. TBH, I don't know what you mean by these "meme contests" because I didn't encounter any single contest that involves meme coins yet.

~
To the procrastinators in the building, when will you finally buy? Or you're looking for one sweet excuse you will use this time around?

TBH, I didn't encounter any single "Jeffs" here in our place. Do you know why? Because not all of them are investing at all, and I don't see any reason for them to introduce Bitcoin to them. I don't want to teach people because I look at them and they seem not interested in investing at all.

I guess I'm lucky that I didn't procrastinate at the time I bought Bitcoin. I don't consider it late as well because I started learning Bitcoin -ber months of 2017, and I bought my first Bitcoin around February of 2018. Though I used it all for trading, I bought more Bitcoins at that time and held it (though I sold it for profit after a few years). On the other hand, I also believe that there are some people out there who already know Bitcoin, but for some reason, don't want to invest in it. Maybe they don't have money or do not know at all. Maybe they just don't like it because they aren't investing at all.

Overall, those who don't want to buy Bitcoins can't be called procrastinators. They have a reason for not buying it.

many Influencers are out again promoting new projects and promising huge returns and you can see a lot of persons in the Comment section following and wants to invest.
TBH, I've been watching many crypto influencers these past few months to make an experiment.

I've watched I think 5 YouTube Crypto Influencers and observed the videos and the coins that they're promoting on their project. Well, some of them are kind of shilling those top coins while some of them are kind of promoting a new project for them to be paid, and at the same time, can get some profits either through referrals or through selling the coin (if they will have some). Like what OP said, don't focus on what these influencers are saying in their video because anybody can make their video if they want to. You can watch them but don't get attracted by their explanation of that new project instead, do your research, and it would be better if you will just focus on the top coins if possible.

Lastly invest what you can afford to lose, or rather stake what you can afford to lose cause I know no matter the advice many read they woudl still invest in shit coins so stake what you can afford to lose.

I've heard this many times, but still, some people want to go all in hoping that they can maximize their profit when they invest in a coin. If you can't apply this "Invest what you can afford to lose" in your investing journey, I guess just buy Bitcoin. Cheesy
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will altcoins fly? on: March 12, 2024, 06:53:49 AM
Are we gonna have one more chance to buy altcoins with low price ? What do you think about this
Low price? TBH, I don't consider the prices of altcoins especially those at the top 100 "low" anymore because if you want to buy those altcoins, you must take the opportunity and buy 2 years ago when everything is just at its bottom.

Well, if you will only buy altcoins this time, and sell it during the peak of the bull run then you can at least make some money still on it, but I don't consider it low anymore. How high altcoins will fly is something that I can't answer accurately because it differs. Probably those altcoins at the top 50 only might do a minimum of x2 to a maximum of x5. Those altcoins below might go x2 to x10 at least. One thing's for sure though. Most of the altcoins at the top will do at least x2 IF YOU WILL BUY NOW. Not financial advice. Tongue

Overall, you can still buy altcoins right now, and sell them during the bull run. If you missed the opportunity last 2022 when everything is at it's lowest, you can wait for the bull run to end, then buy altcoins during the bear market phase. Markets move in cycles anyway. If you missed the last opportunity, just wait and another opportunity will come again. Smiley
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please don't liquidated yourself on: March 12, 2024, 06:15:38 AM
All trader should take note that you can't get liquidated if you use your leverage wisely, almost 90% or more of traders that got liquidated is as a result of high leverage, ok lets take btc as an example now, if you enter a long position from $45000 with a 3x leverage, Bitcoin would have to fall down to $17000 or $16000 for you to get liquidated, so as long as you are patience enough in the market while using lower leverage, you stand a chance of making good money out of the market, so please use your leverage wisely to overcome the troubles of the market.
The bolded text is the one that I want to highlight because those 2 words are very easy to say, but it's very hard to implement especially for those newbie traders, and including me as well.

Making profits in trading is easy (kind of ironic especially when it comes to me that is a complete failure when it comes to trading). What's hard is having the traits needed for you to become successful. You can have a million dollars in your trading account and still have a chance to lose that amount if you aren't patient enough. You can lose the money if you are greedy enough to not take the profits. TBH, I already think that I can control myself because I did it with gambling, but I realized that it is very different in trading.

Overall, if you don't have the patience in the first place, don't try trading at all, or at least don't go all in on it. You will just get liquidated. If you think that you're greedy, don't trade in the futures because when you are making profits consecutive times, there might be a time when you will put higher leverage on your trades because you're confident enough that you will make money from that trade, but it's the complete opposite. Using lower leverage like the OP said will decrease your risk, but decrease your rewards as well. It's up to you trader if you're patient enough to wait.

This was a topic that I would comment on here too. Anyway, I hope Alperen Şengün recovers and that it's nothing serious. What made me worried and sad about this situation is that there was less than 1 minute left before the game ended and Şengün was seriously injured.

Is there any update on his injury yet? Maybe he had an ACL injury or something similar?

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun has escaped major injury on his lower right leg, suffering a severely sprained ankle and a bone bruise on his knee. Sengun’s been one of breakout stars in the league this year, averaging 21 points, nine rebounds, five assists.
That's a big relief for the Rockets because their main big escaped that major injury. They are still 5 games behind the Warriors currently, but their chances of getting that 10th spot would be much lower if Sengun were injured for the rest of the season. He has been one of the go-to guys of the Rockets for this regular season. The question now is, how long will he be out because of that injury? Or will he be out for a short time because of that?

Anyway, I'm a Warriors fan, and to see Trayce Jackson-Davis posterizing Victor Wembanyama is just insane. I watched it multiple times and had the same reaction all the time. This kid will be the future of the Warriors, and will keep him for sure. The announcers are in a savage mode on this one. "he put the entire country of France in a basket"? WTF!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Here's the video anyway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jDegrDZ4og

Are there members here who do monthly investment in bitcoin irrespective of current prices ? This approach can be really helpful for majority of people like salaried people who get fixed monthly income and can allocate some part of it to bitcoin investment.
It's for me, the best approach to investing in Bitcoin.

You can set it depending on your way of living. If you're a frugal person like me but at the same time, have a huge monthly salary then you can use a huge portion of your money investing or you can do it weekly. It will depend on you as the investor.

Well, as much as I want DCA since that's the strategy I'm using, there's a limit to it as well. Most of the time, we are hearing DCA in buying only, but we don't hear DCA in selling. Now that we are nearing the bull market, as much as possible, it would be better if you would adjust your strategy in buying Bitcoin thru DCA. If you will just continue regardless of what the price is, chances are, you might end up buying Bitcoin even though it's at its peak already and you might end up losing your money. Well, if you're a long-term holder of Bitcoin then it doesn't matter, but some only hold it for short to mid term. There's nothing with doing DCA, but consider the price as well, and decide whether it's still a good time to buy Bitcoin or not.

I am thinking about splitting it in 5x 1000, what would be your choice? Which 5 altcoins would you choose?

And would you include Moonbeam (GLMR) in your choice?
I don't usually recommend some coins, but on this one, I will. Take note that this isn't financial advice, and you're the one responsible for your losses just in case. Popular motto for Crypto Youtubers. Tongue

I will not say any specific coins, but I will say the categories that might pump up in the next months. It will be Layer 2 coins, AI coins, Real World Asset Coins, and Gaming coins. If you want to split your $5,000 into 5 tokens, I would suggest buying 2-3 Layer 2 coins probably those at the top already, the 2 would depend on you but if I have that amount, I would focus on 1 AI coin, and 1 Gaming coin.

You know what OP, don't mind what I said because at the end of the day, most of the altcoins especially those at the top 100 in market cap will just pump up in price. Just pick whatever coin you want to buy, and just buy it, and wait for the bull run to start. Cheesy
