Here's the Mock Trade:

Miami Heat gets:
Damian Lillard
Jusuf Nurkic

Portland Trail Blazers gets:
Ben Simmons
Kyle Lowry
Nikola Jovic
2028 first-round pick (via Brooklyn)
2028 first-round pick (via Miami)
2030 first-round pick (via Miami)

Brooklyn Nets gets:
Tyler Herro
2026 second-round pick (via Miami)

Source: https://allucanheat.com/2023/07/06/perfect-3-team-trade-damian-lillard-miami-heat/
Just by looking at the trade, I know for sure that the Blazers will decline on this one.

They will give away 2 of their best players for some old players like Lowry, an inconsistent player like Simmons, a young player like Jovic (which can be a good one), and some draft picks. I hope that the Blazers will not agree on this one because they're doomed. There's no hope for Simmons to go back to it's all-star self already. Maybe after his contract because he will be a liability to the team where he is just because of his contract.

The Boston Celtics is now out of the race to directly take Damian Lillard.
~
TBH, they have a better player to give out to Portland that Miami have currently.

They have Brogdon, Robert Williams, some bench players out there, and maybe if they really want Lillard they might give Horford as well if needed. Compare to Miami's assets, the Celtics have better assets to give out. The problem is Lillard don't want to play with other teams other than Miami, but he doesn't have control on his trade like Beal had. Nevertheless, if the Blazers will not fulfill Lillard's wish, it might affect his career. Now if the Heat really want him, I think the best scenario is to have a 3 or 4 team deal, or to include either Bam or Butler in the mix, and for sure the Heat fans don't want it for sure.

There were reports that Wemby's security or body guard or whatever you call it, assaulted Britney Spears.

It's not even the start of the season, and yet he is in a controversy already. And for sure Wemby's detractors and haters are going to used this one to picture him as someone is not approachable.
Brandon Miller's first 2 games are worth discussing more than this one. Cheesy
After all, it's his security only like what others said here. If it's Wemby then we have a problem here, and he don't control his guards as well. On the other hand, Miller's performance in his first 2 games in the Summer League is just awful to the point that analysts right now is questioning him already. Cheesy

Any thoughts on this strategy?
Many investors especially the newbie ones, or the ones who don't want to stress themselves that much when it comes to investing are the ones who are doing this.

Buy and hold. Simple strategy. A long term strategy, and it requires lots of patience in order for the investor to get it's profits. I don't see any problem that you are using Coinbase, but if you will just let your Bitcoin stay there for a long time, that's the problem. You might bought Bitcoin in Coinbase, but you don't have the full control over it because you bought it on a Centralized Exchange.

As for your strategy, it has been proven that the strategy that you shared is working. The problem is it requires lots of time, and patience in order for that to be a successful one. Most of the investors unfortunately don't have the patience to hold Bitcoin for a long time.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 05, 2023, 01:56:59 PM

After full consideration I sold all the wallets I had Altcoins invested in. and with the amount of funds I made from that, I bought bitcoins and kept them in the trust wallet.
Well, there's nothing wrong with your decision because in the long run, Bitcoin would give higher profit compare to other altcoin especially in the bull run. I've seen some altcoins who didn't reach their previous ATH last 2021 when bull run started while on the other hand, Bitcoin's price reached as high as $69,000, almost x3 to it's previous ATH of $20,000.

Now my question is, is it good for my future that I have sold my altcoins and invested in bitcoins?
It depends on the time frame.
If you are planning to hold it for long term, I guess you made a good decision. Bitcoin has a better future long run compare to most of the altcoins out there. I just hope that you have a strategy in selling as well.

The trust wallet I put my invested bitcoins in, is the trust wallet safe for my bitcoins?[/size]
This is where I might disagree.
You put a huge amount of money (at least for me it's huge) in a wallet that I can't consider as a safe wallet for Bitcoin. I would rather go, and buy a hardware wallet, or even Electrum if you don't want to spend money to buy Trezor or Ledger. Maybe just transfer it. Smiley

As for the hated act of flopping. Here is the solution of the NBA.
https://twitter.com/NBAPR/status/1676290932994449409?s=20

Like a simple technical foul. Well, they should've done it years ago when it was rampant in the NBA. Cheesy I just wish this will work because I have seen last year that the changed rule about offensive players taking the contact to receive a foul from the defender is not yet normally implemented. They are still missing a lot of those calls that could've been offensive fouls.
Well, as one of the haters of flopping, I like this move by them.

I mean this problem has been there for a very long time already, and yet they just addressed, and made decisions just now. I still remember Marcus Smart is the master of flopping, and what's hilarious is that referees are buying into his flops. That was years ago, and over time, there are many players who are doing the same as well. What I remember by the time I'm posting this is when Lonnie Walker IV ran into a screen by Draymond Green, and acted like Green hit his head. Referees called a charge against Green, but when they saw the replay, it was an obvious flop, and Green didn't even hit Walker's head at all.

I will also add Le-flop because there are times as well where he is flopping. Lebron fans might hate me with this one, but I'm pretty sure they also know that he's also flopping. Tongue Overall, let's not expect too much with this new rule because we don't know what can be the effect of this one into the league.
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can DEX Replace CEX as the Future of Crypto Trading? on: July 04, 2023, 03:54:01 PM
In short MUFEX is scam.
I wonder how many minutes did the OP took just to create this thread only to find out that many will just simply ignore it.
You're straight to the point, but the chances of it to be a scam is high, or it might be 100%.

I've seen some of these threads in the past already. The title is asking question then the contents of the created thread is something that's about their project that they're promoting. This is one of them, and obviously this is a scam project... but a project can't be called a scam until it does, so like what others are saying here, it's possible that it's a scam project.

Well, I would be happy, and most here would be happy if we were wrong about accusing this new project as a scam.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: July 04, 2023, 02:47:32 PM
Scam, death both have in altcoins market so why you want investing altcoins?
Profit.

I guess most of the investors out there (including me) are investing into altcoins for the sake of profit, and nothing more. Maybe there are some who wants to show their support towards the project thru holding their coin, but most are because of profit. Scam, and death are more likely to happen in new projects, but for the projects that are out there for years already, the chances of it to be either scam or dead project is way lesser than that of new projects.

My opinion buy dip and sold faster on some profits like to be best revenge for all altcoins investors!
What's your skills and opinion?
That's very easy to say, but the question is can you do it in real time?
It's easy to say "buy the dip", or "sell on top" etc. but the reality is you don't know when it will happen, and by the time it happens, you might lost your patience already and bought at a wrong time.

As for me, I don't have any skills at all. I just invest, and hold it for long term. I don't know TBH if I have skills that would've help me in investing. As for my opinion, there are some altcoins out there who are important still. Bitcoin isn't a one size fits all type of cryptocurrency where it all has the good features already, and that's where altcoins shine. There are some altcoins out there who are covering what Bitcoin can't do. For ex. transaction speed. Bitcoin's transaction speed is slow that's why we are seeing altcoins that has a faster transaction speed as an alternative coin to be used when transacting.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 04, 2023, 02:19:16 PM
Do you believe it was primarily driven by positive news, investor speculation, increased mainstream awareness, or a combination of these factors? How do you think this pump will impact the overall cryptocurrency market? Looking forward to hearing your insights and opinions!"
It was primarily driven by emotions by the investors.
Positive news = positive effect towards the market because investors often see positive news as opportunities for them to buy Bitcoin thus, price increase a few hours after the news is posted online. TBH, I'm not a fan of investing thru news because I'm more of a chart guy where I just look at charts, and make a buy price base on what the chart is telling.

The pump is caused by Blackrock, and over the course of 1-2 weeks, they have been the ones that you are seeing on different media. Them signing that spot Bitcoin ETF is a positive news for the investors that's why it pumped. How will it impact the whole market? I guess we've seen the impact already. The effect has been there, and it seems like there are no reasons for Bitcoin to go below $30,000 as of this moment.

I expect that Bitcoin's price will go up even further once the spot Bitcoin ETF will be approved. That is if it will be approved. I guess the chances are higher because Gary Gensler resigned already. It will all depend on who will be the one that will replace him.

tell me anything i need to do to make a lot of money. doesn't matter what, i would do anything to get all the money, even if it mean unlawful and unethical!
I can feel the desperation towards your post OP. You're desperate right now that you would do something unlawful just to have money, eh? That's very bad of yours.

Go find a job. Master a skill that would help you. This is the reason why I don't have a family yet until now. It's because I want to settle everything financially so that I will not see myself having a hard time in terms of money once I have a family. What am I doing? As I graduated in College a few years ago, I already started investing. My extra money is being invested, and I also save for emergency funds. I know why you are this desperate OP. It's because you didn't prepare yourself earlier.

You said you have a family right? Talk with your partner, and help each other in that problem. Don't resort to something unlawful just to have money. There are many ways to earn money. Your problems are just a part of your journey of life, and life would be boring if you don't have any problems. Smiley Go learn a skill with your partner. With the help of the internet, and a mentor (if you have one), you can learn a skill that would help you earn more money for life. Invest in long term as well, and save for emergency funds, so that you will have something to use if the worst thing happens to you.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: July 04, 2023, 05:55:45 AM
My friend informed me that at this time many upcoming project social account like twitter, telegram is verified.
Does that mean these projects can be trusted?
In fact many are encouraged to invest in any new project following this.
What is your opinion on this matter?
How much is the blue tick now in Twitter? 8$ per month. That's 96$ per year only. Anybody can afford that amount.
Any scammer who can have 100$ in their pockets can just buy that blue check for a year just to show to the public that they're legit, but in reality they're con artist, and just patiently waiting for some newbies that would fall into their trap.

I just hope that a mere blue check mark isn't a sign that they're trusted therefore you will invest into them. It's just a blue check, nothing more, nothing less especially now that the chances of getting that blue check is higher now because you only need to pay.

Having blue check = projects can be trusted. If you really want to invest into new projects, many here said some tips that will help you, but for me, I'd rather invest into old, and established coins, and tokens rather than investing into new projects. Lesser stress, lesser risk, happy life. Cheesy
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 04, 2023, 02:24:48 AM
Russell Westbrook and the Clippers agreed to a two-year contract at $7.8 million with a player option in the second year, down from $47 million last year. It won't be long before he becomes Melo, where no team will be interested in him and he will simply resign. As expected given his dismal performance the previous season, but not at such a rapid pace, making it the largest pay cut in league history, according to Hoopshype.
I think that he just took it so quickly that the other offers could have been lowball already. This is much better than no offer and we'd seen that with Melo it's like the last minute until a team has given him an offer. It's only gonna be a matter of time before he's going to have the same fate as him but we shall see how the LAC will do this season. They seem to have a good setup of roster and could do good and hopefully he'll also get himself back the way we knew how he was before but yeah, time passes by and that's unlikely.
Just to add, Westbrook now holds the record for the largest pay cut in NBA history.

From $47M last year to now $3.9M per year. Anyway, it seems like the Clippers want him to be back, and with PG and Kawhi injury-prone, they need a player like Russ to carry the team. I still believe that he can still be a great player, and can score at least 20 points anytime if given the opportunity. I just hope that he will improve his shooting, and don't throw bricks out there. Cheesy

As for no team interested in him, I don't think that Russ, and Melo will have the same faith. Melo don't want to be a bench at that time thus, no team wanted him. Russ on the other hand is willing to be a bench player if that will help the team. Melo is egoistic while Russ doesn't, and can adjust if needed. Let's give Russ this season to improve, and if he improves this season, with him having a Player Option for the next season, teams will surely want him again to play with them.
1091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The relationship between educational qualification and quality of post. on: July 03, 2023, 11:03:00 PM
Do you think the level of academic qualifications and life experience that a member of forum has, has a direct influence on the quality of post that  he/she makes here on this forum?
Do you feel users who are known to be quality posters in various boards are individuals with high educational qualifications and vast experience.

Not really, or it has little effect on the quality of posts.
What's affecting the posts I think is the experience, and the knowledge of the user towards a particular topic.

TBH, I'm not that fluent in English when I started interacting into the forum, but as I watch English documentaries, English videos on Youtube, and speaking with English people sometimes, my way of speaking English got better, and better though I think there might be some times where I have broken English when I'm speaking with other people, and when I'm posting here, I can say that it's better now. I'm not a native English speaker as well, so I might have some broken English as well. Cheesy

Academic qualifications? I don't think so because there are some who didn't finish their school, and yet they're very good in interacting with other people.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 03, 2023, 07:56:45 AM
I saw something on a friend of mine iPhone I was amazed, this guy has 3 pieces of bitcoin but he didn't look it when you look at him with mere eyes, I ask him how he has come this far, he told long ego he was seriously investing on all kinds of coins with little amount of bitcoin but then most of those coins help him to realized enough amount to buy more bitcoin because that was his primary target. He normally buys those zero value coins when they appreciates it will be enough money, and that's how he convert and swag all to bitcoin and today, he has 3 piece. Is good to be diversified in your investment, somedays something good will come out of one you don't expect.
I'm leaning more towards the fact that you're friend is lucky enough that all of the "zero value" coins he bought appreciated, and got profited from all of them. I don't know the numbers, but most of the investors who are investing into these type of coins typically lose their money because these zero-value coins that you are saying are ending up either a scam coin or an abandoned coin.

TBH, I don't know if what you are saying is true just by looking on how you deliver the message thru creating this thread. I mean I'm not saying that you're lying though, but it's just that I just can't believe about your story. Maybe I'm like this because I didn't ever experience something like that in my whole investing journey.

Anyway, just congratulations to your friend. Your subject title, and the content of your thread isn't connected at all as well. He gambled, and he won the game so... yeah that's what he got. Cheesy
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: July 03, 2023, 07:22:58 AM
In cryptocurrency world, once the trust has been broken, it's very hard for it to be regained thus, those projects who often failed for some reasons are just getting abandoned. For some reasons, the old developers of this project rebranded. Now the question is will they be as successful as what it was when it's still on the top 10? I don't think so especially if the trust has been broken already.

Those who saw what happened, and those who experienced losing tons of money because of this project, for sure they will not even touch or they don't even want to heard anything connected to them anymore. On the other hand, there are these newbies who might not know what happen in the past, and they might invest into it because they didn't do any research at all, and they just invested into it. Poor newbies.

What are the chances of the project to be a successful one "again"? Pretty low TBH, and even they will be rebranding, there will be some who will attach them to Terra Luna. The incident that happened months ago has been already written as one of the worst scams in crypto history. As for me, Nahhh I will not touch that project at all. For me, a failed project will always be a failure no matter what they will do with it.
1094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The exit plan on: July 03, 2023, 03:46:11 AM
~
What are your exit plan and what exit plan have you used that work well for you.
Just make it simple. Dollar Cost Averaging on selling is my plan.
Simplifying every thing for me gives me lesser stress. After all, that plan is working both on buying, and on selling.

How? Just put a target selling price where you are contented enough to sell all or a percentage of your holdings once it reaches that price. For me, my initial selling prices are $70,000, $85,000, and $100,000 for Bitcoin. I think I'll be contented enough to sell my holdings once it reaches that price. Of course I will keep some Bitcoins as well for long term, but once the bull run starts, I will be patiently waiting for that price to be reached the I will sell.

I know we have different strategies when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency, but I have other plans that's why I plan to sell it during the bull run a few years from now (maybe). I still didn't use that plan that I shared, but I know that it will work for me because after all, when it comes to selling, as long as you're good with the profits that you have then there's nothing wrong with it. Smiley
1095  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any chance to fall below $30k bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2023, 03:07:19 AM
what do you think about bitcoin price ?
Why are you asking? For research purposes? For your ponzi scheme.
Just kidding. I just saw your IGN that's why I said that.

Anyway to answer your question. With how unpredictable, and volatile the crypto market is, there's always a chance that it will go below $30,000. The good thing though is that, it has been above $30,000 for nearly 2 weeks now. The last time it went below $30,000 was on the 30th of June, but it didn't last long meaning there are many buyers at the $30,000 price level, and that's a good sign knowing that the $30,000 is now the psychological support.

On the other hand, a negative news can always put the price of Bitcoin go down. Well, it depends still, but we've seen Bitcoin's price going down when FTX issue came up, and so with Binance. One negative news alone can have a significant impact on the market. As for the Bitcoin price, for this month as long as there are no bad news  happening, or any news that will affect the market significantly, I think that Bitcoin will remain above $30,000, and it's price will increase gradually.
1096  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 03, 2023, 02:25:15 AM
Public beef or fights involving billionaires, celebrities, or even top companies often puts them into the spotlight, attracting attention and generating increased traffic, hence, more income. My question arises as to whether you think some or most of these conflicts are genuine or intentionally crafted/orchestrated by the parties involved to maintain their prominence and financial gains.
Also, could this be considered as a strategic element of their business or career strategy? And If so, is this a good strategy?
Inspired by Elon "Mars" Musk, and Mark "Meta" Zuckerberg, eh? That's why you created this thread.

As for their conflicts, I don't see any deep reason as to why they need to fight physically. Obviously, this is just for clout, and popularity. They just wanted to advertise their product which is Twitter, and Meta. I don't know if there's any reason why these 2 billionaires will fight in the ring, and TBH when I saw that they will really fight with each other, I was shocked, but at the same time laughing because this is the first time I'll be seeing 2 billionaire fighting with each other. I wonder who will be the next? Jeff Bezos? Warren Buffet might be a judge as well, or even Jamie Dimon. Kidding aside, this fight is just like what Jake Paul, and Floyd Mayweather are doing. It's just for the promotion, and nothing else.

Career strategy? Yes I guess this is a career strategy for them, but for unknown reasons, I don't know why they want to have more popularity thru fighting. I mean they can just debate with each other. That would've been better I think. As for this as a good strategy. Just think about this. Either it's good publicity, or a bad publicity, it's still publicity, and that results to more money, and more popularity.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 03, 2023, 01:47:38 AM
Dame’s path to Miami is starting to look a little cloudy. The Portland Trailblazers have come out now and said that they’re open to hearing from any team in the league about trading Damian Lillard. They initially seemed to be willing to do whatever it took to get Dame where he wanted to go, but when it came time to sign the dotted line their tune started to change.

It's all a pony show.  They need to say that so that if Miami really wants Dame they want to ring up the price for him.  If they just come out and say we are dealing him to Miami they lose any leverage.  Whether or not he lands there is still up for debate based on the package they get back.  Portland isn't just gonna give him away for anything.
Dame wants to be in Miami, but the question is what who will be included in the trade package. The worst thing is that, the Portland front office demand either Bam, or Butler to be included in the trade. For sure the Heat fans won't like it, but on the other hand the Blazers want something that they will have huge benefits from it. Obviously they want to win on this trade. I just hope that this trade will push through with Bam, and Butler not getting involved, or we might see Dame either going to another team (like Sixers, or Clippers etc.), or he might stay with the Blazers, but aren't playing at all which hurts his career.

The Chicago Bulls applied to the NBA management for a $10.2 million 'unusable player exemption' due to Lonzo Ball's injury!

I think Lonzo Ball's career is over. Lonzo Ball will most likely never play in the NBA again.

Lonzo Ball's career is like Brandon Roy when he is still playing.
Roy retired early because of a season-ending injury that he got when he's still playing. Ball's injury TBH is one of the worst injuries a player can ever get. Like you said, it seems like Ball's injury will ruin his whole NBA career, and might not play anymore because of that.

How about Desmond Bane getting over 200 million dollars out of the Grizzlies? Gotta be the worst signing so far.
5-year max. $200m. $40M per year. That's a lot of money. I know he did carry the Grizzlies while Ja Morant was not playing because of his gun stint but this is going to tighten up their salary cap. They will have players that will look for a better salary and they cannot even offer a good one anymore.
Morant must've been the first Grizzlies player to have a $200M contract, but he got 2 issues that caused him $40M because he didn't enter the All-NBA team.

Bane getting $200M? Worst signing? I don't think so IMO. Bane averaged closed to 22 PPG last season, and he's also shooting 41% from three-point area. In a league where three-point shooting is the key, the Grizzlies really wanted to secure Bane's career with them. He deserves that contract, but I just hope that he will not end up the same with Jordan Poole where they played like an all-star in a season, got a huge contract, and became a bust the next season.

Their ex-teammate Dillon Brooks is getting a 4-year contract for $80m only at Houston Rockets. I bet that hurt his feelings when he heard how much they gave Desmond Bane after not resigning him.  Cheesy The
This is for me the worst signing. Well, he got a good agent in Rich Paul so... yeah Cheesy
Him being paid an average of $20M per year after how he played last season. Maybe his defense is the reason why he got such a high contract despite of his issues last season. I just hope that he will change something especially on his attitude.

Lonnie Walker signed with the Brooklyn Nets for a 1-year deal. I thought the Lakers are amazed at what he did during the West SemiFinals but they didn't resign him. Well, that's NBA for us.
I saw an article days before the free agency that the Lakers are eyeing Lonnie Walker IV to be re-signed with them, but it seems like it didn't push through because he went with the Nets. Well if he will get more time there then it's good for him, and his career.
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 02, 2023, 03:14:31 PM
$40,000-$50,000

In the first halving that I experienced (during the pandemic), the price of Bitcoin doesn't have an immediate impact after the halving happened. Though some investors are very excited that it happened, miners on the other hand felt the opposite because their rewards will decrease by half. The price of Bitcoin increased gradually months after the halving, and we saw it happen during the final months of 2020, and the start of 2021.

Well, just basing on history, price of Bitcoin goes up months after the halving happens. Though there is still a chance that it might not happen in the next halving, we have a clear picture of what might happen months after the halving happens.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 02, 2023, 02:53:16 PM
Quote
Will BTC's momentum continue in July and touch 37k?
TBH, I voted for Yes on this one, but I have doubts that it will happen.

I mean the reason why Bitcoin is above $30,000 right now is the filing of Blackrock of a Bitcoin ETF. Now the SEC is on the verge of denying it for some reasons. I saw it online that they might deny it like other Bitcoin ETF's in the past. On the other hand, if this ETF will get accepted, $37,000 is very low price I guess because we might see Bitcoin's price go to as high as $40,000 this year. That's more than half of it's previous ATH of ~$70,000.

Well, it's good to see Bitcoin going up last month. Now the question is will it sustain this month, or we might see dramas in the internet that might've cause it's price to plummet again. I don't know because I'm not updated with this one, but the Binance-SEC drama has ended already? I asked it because that might affect the price of Bitcoin either positive or negative. Well, OP said that the month of July has been the 2nd best performing month in the last 5 years, and it has been the best performing since 2009, so there's a high chance that we might see Bitcoin's price go up just because of it's price history, but of course we might see it go below as well.

Lillard said in a recent interview that he didn't want to leave Portland, but if he did Miami is where he would want to go. Since he is a player with a no trade clause, he makes all the decisions and Miami will most likely be the destination. Bam, Lillard, and Butler will be a decent starting 3.
The only player that has a no-trade clause in his contract is Bradley Beal that's why he has the power to pick where he wants to go, and he chose the Suns. The person who gave Beal's power to chose where to be traded got fired after giving it. Cheesy Lillard don't have a no-trade clause base on this article. LINK

Don't have or have, I think the Heat will do everything they can just to get Lillard, and they've started it by letting go of Strus, and Vincent. Many are saying that the Heat can give Herro, Lowry, Martin, Robinson, and future picks. Probably not all of them, but most of the players that I shared will be added in the trade. Anyway, I think the Blazers will rebuild around their young players + Grant who just recently got a huge contract.

On the other hand, Dame being in Miami might turn them to be the favorites in the East. I mean just imagine having Butler, Bam, and Dame on the same team plus you've got a well-respected, talented, and a very good coach in Coach Spo. They might not have those undrafted players anymore who has a huge impact towards their achievements last playoffs, but I believe that he can do something to develop their role players.
