1241  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How old are you now in bitcoin investment? on: May 23, 2023, 02:17:58 PM
When did you start your bitcoin investment? Some people are now grandpa's in bitcoin community. Although it doesn't really matter when you heard about bitcoin, but what you've achieved through bitcoin. Is bitcoin helpful to you all this while? Or you've quit from bitcoin as a result of ugly experience? Let's discuss
When did I start investing in Bitcoin? I still remember the exact month and year on when I first bought Bitcoin using my own money.
February 2018. That's the month and the year. The reason why I can't forget it is that, I'm working as an employee at that time, and I just excused myself, went to a place where I need to cash in then bought Bitcoin. It took me 3 hours to travel at that time, I thought my boss will be angry at that time, but luckily he wasn't. Cheesy

What did I achieved through Bitcoin?
Learnings. Lots of learnings. TBH, cryptocurrency is the starting point of my investing journey. Aside from the fact that I've read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" back when I was starting, cryptocurrency really is the reason why I got into investing. Aside from learnings, I also achieved freedom. Not financial freedom, but freedom to work whenever I wanted. Freedom to do the things that I want to do. Freedom to go wherever I want to go. Aside from that, I also have an achievement of beating inflation because I invested my money into different assets instead of just saving it on a bank.

Is Bitcoin helpful to me? Hell YES!!!
Like I said, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is the starting point of my investing journey. Bitcoin helped me in many ways, and so are some here for sure. I don't know if it's just me, but Bitcoin helped me pay my bills here. Bitcoin is also the reason why I have more assets right now that I'm holding. I know for sure that many here helped by Bitcoin in different ways.

Did I quit investing in Bitcoin?
No I didn't, and I will never quit investing into it. As long as I can still work, I will still put a portion of my total salary to invest not just into Bitcoin, but in other coins as well.
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education or 1million dollars on: May 23, 2023, 10:07:38 AM
Financial education has always been a game changer in the financial state of a man, it is the best education a father can give to his children because once you are financially educated, it's near impossible not to be financially stable.

Have you wonder why most lottery winners have gone back to square one after winning or most rich kids losing their inheritance due to poor/bad management of funds, it's because they lack financial education.
You've already stated an example here. Financial education really can make one person rich, but that alone isn't enough. I don't know if this is true, but I'm thinking that there are still some people who are have the financial education, but still lacks a skill that will help them in achieving their goal, and that is to become a successful person.

That's why I feel sad for those people who are winning in lottery, but after a few months, they're back again in the streets begging, or what they usually are doing on a daily basis back before when they didn't won the lottery yet. I remember a news article a few years ago where there's a winner of a lottery, and he won a huge amount, but because he doesn't know how to use that funds properly, he might've spent it in some things that he didn't need, and in the end, those money are gone already, and he's back to what he usually is doing.

On the other hand 1million dollars is truly a life changing amount of money but if you are not financially educated, you will lose it all on  the long run,
I don't know if anyone sees it the same way I do?
The lottery scenario that you shared is enough to answer your question already.

If you're financially educated, and has skills, you can make a million dollar in just a month at least or even lower. On the other hand, you having a million dollars, but financially illiterate will just lead to continuous spending towards things that you don't need therefore, you will lose that money without achieving anything.

If I would choose between the two, I'll go with the million dollars. Why? Because I can still get that amount, and still learn to how to handle money. I mean there are lots of information on the internet that you can use to gain knowledge, but earning a million dollars might took me a very long time (or worst my lifetime), to earn it.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mr Beasts house robbed of everything except for bitcoin on: May 23, 2023, 08:12:23 AM
I've watched this clip on Youtube months ago, watched it many times, and every time I repeat it, I always laugh on how dumb that robber is.
Maybe his a robber who doesn't have a smartphone at all, or any device that keeps him updated on what's happening around him. Maybe he doesn't know what's crypto at all, or how to access it etc. Maybe he's a robber from a faraway place, just went there to rob. Cheesy Kidding on the last one.

I guess it will not affect Mr. Beast at all if the robber manage to got his private keys because of how much he's worth right now. I mean he's one of the most popular, if not the most popular Youtuber right now, and correct me with this one, but I think that he's earning 7 digits on all of his Youtube channels, but spending 6 digits on all of it.

I guess it's good for my safety as well that nobody here in my community knows about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency at all because that lessens the chances of me getting my Bitcoin robbed. This incident teaches us to always, always keep our keys in the safest place possible. Not all robbers are like the robber who robbed Mr. Beast's things.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't central bankers just buy all the bitcoin and miners? on: May 23, 2023, 07:26:12 AM
Can't central bankers just buy all the bitcoin and miners? so what is the point again? to prolong are $lavery?
If you will think logically, they can TBH. The question is, will they do it. Do they have everything that they need to buy it all?

They might have the money that is needed to buy all Bitcoin and the miners out there. The question is, will all of the Bitcoin holders, and those who are mining Bitcoin be selling it to these bankers? That alone is enough to answer your question. That's the beauty of decentralization. You hold the coins, you have the power whether you will sell it or not. You store your coins in a wallet where you're the only one who can open it, you can do whatever you want on it.

Not all Bitcoin holders, and miners will sell what they have to these bankers... or at least I don't think that they will. Ok let's say they already have it. How they will get benefitted from it? I guess let's just forget this scenario because at first place, Bitcoin holders, and Bitcoin miners have their own choice whether they would want to sell it or not.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 23, 2023, 06:59:28 AM

What do you think of LA's final play? I was thinking the coach should give it to AD to tie the game during the last timeout.

The Nuggets anticipated that play, they knew it's going to end up with LeBron forcing the lane because Jokic have 5 fouls and they have a better chances in winning if they have sent it to overtime. But then again the Nuggets knew it so it wasn't so surprising how Murray had a perfect help defense in the last play, because that was the defensive play they have designed.
That was a great anticipation play. Murray already had his eyes on Lebron before the ball was inbounded. I thought that should have been the cue to kick the ball out to AD who was unguarded. There should be plenty of time for him to take a two or three. I guess Malone outcoached his counterpart again.
When you're the Lakers, or with any team, you will always, always go with the best player in the team to do the final shot. In that play, it's now or never for the Lakers, and maybe I will also add the fact that they knew already that they will not win against the Nuggets anymore, so they did that.

What do I think with the Lakers' final play? I guess there's nothing wrong with it. It's just that, Murray already knew it that's why he helped in the defense, and altered his shot, and if you will look at one camera angle, it's all ball for Murray. No foul on it, and that's also the reason why Lebron didn't complain in the end, and just walked away. The Nuggets used their BROOMSTICKS to finish the Lakers. Now it's time for the Heat to do the same as well against the Celtics.

The Miami Heat need to finish the series tomorrow so they can also rest and both teams can prepare for the NBA Finals. Based on the betting odds I saw, the Nuggets are the favorites, but that doesn't guarantee they will win, right?

What are your speculations, guys, for a possible Heat vs Nuggets matchup in the Finals? What team do you think will win?
I believe that the Heat will finish it tomorrow against the Celtics. The morale of the team doesn't exist anymore on the Celtics. That blowout loss in Game 3 showed how soft the Celtics are. Their 2 all-NBA team player in Tatum and Brown aren't stepping up, and what's worse is that they are being outscored by some undrafted players in the Heat.

Odds? In the beginning of the ECF, many thought that the Celtics will also win in this one base on odds. Right now, I don't believe in the odds anymore because with how the Heat are playing right now, TBH I might picking them as the winner of the title this season. I guess we already knew that the Heat will win against the Celtics, so it will be Nuggets Vs. Heat in the NBA Finals. My prediction? Heat in 6. Smiley

Anyway, I will add some things, achievements by different players, and teams in this Game 4. (I saw in Facebook, just sharing it here).
- Jokic made another history again as he passed Wilt Chamberlain for most number of triple-double in a single playoff season with 8.
- Jokic made another history again as he's the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in a Conference Finals. He averaged 27.8 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 11.8 APG.
- Lebron also made history as he's the oldest player in NBA history to achieve 40 points in a playoff game. He really is the King, and he almost got a triple double in Game 4.
- Lebron also made a history for himself as his 31 point first half performance is his highest in terms of points in the first half.
- It's also the 2nd time that both conference Finals in playoff history have teams with 3-0 lead (the first one was in 2015)
- The Nuggets made into the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 22, 2023, 07:36:39 AM
~
I'm certainly not convinced about this information that he gave to me...I want better ideas and  enlightenment on why I should buy bitcoin.I need help please!
Give me a reason why should we convince you at first place? Are you a famous newbie investor?
You need enlightenment? There are many information online that may enlighten you on why you should you buy Bitcoin. We aren't the answers whether you need to buy or not. If you really want to buy Bitcoin, learn it yourself, or find a mentor that might guide you.

As for me, I will not enlighten you or whatever term you want to use. You want to buy Bitcoin? Go find information online that will help you. Go watch videos that will help you. Go read articles that will help you. We don't need to enlighten you nor you need enlightenment from us. It's already good that you have a friend that helped you.

Well, what I said might be a bit harsh, but that's the reality. Smiley Go learn, and good luck I guess.
1247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: May 22, 2023, 06:31:27 AM
~
learn to trade since it provides them a clear sense of purpose other than waiting for jobs. So, which is better, online or offline?
Please tell me you're joking with what you said. PLEASE!!!!!!

Let's say that a person is having a hard time, and has a hard time to find his true self. You want him to go to trading to find his true self? I don't want to laugh, but TBH your statement is laughable. Cheesy Trading isn't the best thing to do if you really want to earn online. There are many ways to earn online, and it wasn't trading alone. At the same time, I don't suggest to follow what OP has said if you're having a hard time. Trading will not help you, but it might cause you to have more problems.

Now to answer your question, it's a very subjective question TBH. There are some people who don't know how to earn online thus, they prefer going offline, and go to office like what most employees are doing, and they find themselves happy with what they are doing. On the other hand, there are some people like me who prefer earning online because of the fact that I don't need to prepare myself at morning, and go to office. I just need to wake up, eat some breakfast, and then go in front of my computer, and start working. There are some who like to do both.

Overall, you will expect different answers from different users here for many reasons. As for me, working online is more preferrable than offline.
1248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best investment nowadays anyone guide me on: May 22, 2023, 04:29:42 AM
Hi, I start learning cryptocurrency nowadays everywhere in the field of life like the technology boom has come and also in crypto filed but everyone asks in tiktok join group in some fees for signals.
Don't join to any pump and dump signals that you are seeing online. They will just steal your money away.

Just a few days ago, I tried to join a pump and dump signal group just to look if it's legit (even though I know it's not). I entered on that channel, the admin of the channel suggested a coin, and in just a few hours, the coin pumped by x10. A few minutes after that, it dumped, and the admin kicked all of us instantly. I didn't bought the coin the admin suggested for us to buy because I knew it already that it was a pump and dump scheme.

Can you suggest to me the best Video content on YouTube Channel So I easily understand and get some knowledge and share it also on bitcoin talk to help Others and also mine to start trading in cryptocurrencies?
My second question is how to start earn from this platforms except than bounties because mostly doing scams.
Best video content on Youtube? It's hard to suggest TBH because most of the Crypto influencers in Youtube most of the time are promoting some new projects as well. If you will ask me, focus on documentaries where you can gain more knowledge about Bitcoin. Forget about the earning part, but focus on learning first.

You are just a newbie, and yet you are asking about trading cryptocurrencies already. You're not in a hurry right? One step at a time I would suggest. Learn first the basics of cryptocurrency, and I'm pretty sure many here already shared different links that might help you in your journey. Forget crypto trading as well especially when you are just starting. You might get overwhelmed during the process, and you might feel burned out, and you will stop learning because of mental breakdown. Trust me I've been to that as well, and I almost quit learning, but I took one step at a time, and it's good that I didn't quit.

How to start earning? This guide might help you.
[General] How to earn Bitcoins
Just remember, learn first, forget earning as much as possible, and always invest in Bitcoin.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 22, 2023, 03:36:13 AM
Does anybody still remember this taunt by Al Horford? Now Butler did this in front of him, and Horford seems angry because of what Butler did to him. I did watch a video of the taunting, and I can't help myself not to laugh. Karma really strikes harder.

Anyway, you can watch the video here where Butler did the same taunt that Horford did in Game 1, and what's funny is Horford's reaction while Butler is doing it in front of him.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NJHthidRJE

Those 3 undrafted players of the Heat are leading the way for them to get Game 3, and remain undefeated on their home this playoffs. Vincent, Strus, and Martin are combined for 57 points while Vincent got a career-high 29 points. Butler scored only 16 points, but it doesn't matter at all because the Heat have so many offensive weapons that can step up when needed like these 3 undrafted players. Coach Spo has been a very great coach for the Heat team, and he earns Pat Riley's trust that's why he remains to be the head coach of the team even though the Big 3 of James, Wade and Bosh are not there anymore. Kudos to Coach Spo, and the whole Heat team as they're one win away from going to the NBA Finals.

As for the Celtics, Tatum, and Brown are both in the All-NBA teams, but tonight they are both garbage as they only scored 26 points combined, and shot 1/14 from three-point area combined. Just imagine this, an undrafted player like Gabe Vincent outscored these 2 all-star players of the Celtics. I don't want to say this, but that's shameful, and because of that, the morale of the Celtics are gone, and they will not come back with this one. I just hope that they will not get swept, but the chances of that to happen is low as well knowing that the Heat are undefeated on their home.

Now the Nuggets, and the Heat are both 3-0, and with what's happening right now, it seems like these 2 teams are likely to face in the NBA Finals... or we might see a team breaking the history as the first team to overcome a 0-3 deficit? Cheesy
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment, fulltime endeavor or side hustle? on: May 22, 2023, 12:32:47 AM
~
"to them, Bitcoin would continue to be a side hustle and since the price of cryptocurrency is volatile they could loss the value of their investment at anytime. they also said that they couldn't quit their jobs as that would continue to bring more capital for their investment"
The people that you saw outside did the right thing.
They did the right thing to not quit their job, and take Bitcoin trading as a side hustle only.

TBH, there are only few people out there who have the guts to quit their job, and focus on crypto trading, and become successful. What's worse is there are some traders out there especially when the newbie ones who are getting profit in their first few trades, made a few bucks, quitted their job as they are earning far more than their current day-to-day job, and after that they lose their money in trading. This is the reason why I don't quit my current job as of this moment, and focus more on crypto trading. I know for a fact that yes you can get profit for consecutive days, but there will always be a possibility that one or consecutive wrong trades might end up losing my money.

What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
HELL NO!!!!!!

Unless you're an expert trader who are earning more profits than losses in a monthly basis, why should you quit your day job to just to trade. Why quit your job if you can do both of them at the same time? I'm not an expert in trading, but does expert traders look at the charts 24/7? Bitcoin is very volatile, and very unpredictable thus, you don't know where it can go. One time you might earn profit from it, and then after that you might get lost. Overall, I don't recommend quitting your day job, and focus more in crypto trading.
1251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you still buying? on: May 21, 2023, 11:33:14 PM
This market is not favourable since 2021 till now like as of last two years that was a boom let's face the fact about, bitcoin price has drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime, even most of you that have it before aren't buying more bitcoin recently because of the waving price dilemma.
It depends TBH.

Not favorable? Probably yes if you bought Bitcoin at it's peak. What if you're one of the many investors who are waiting for this time to happen? It will be more favorable for you because you will have the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price. Always take note that there's always opportunity in the crypto markets, and it all depends on you as an investor if you will grab it. Drastically reduced the number of buyers overtime? Probably because most of the buyers are the ones who don't have the courage to buy Bitcoin when it's going down because they are afraid to lose their money.

Think of it this way, if you sleep by 8pm and wake up by 5am to discover that bitcoin rise up to $50k, will is you said is scam? Or will you regret for not buying again? Believe me it will shock many people how the bull will react. Keep buying if trust bitcoin
I will wake up immediately because I know that your scenario will just be a dream, and in reality, it will never happen. Cheesy

Kidding aside, I will not say that it will be a scam even though that thing will happen, but in reality it will not happen, or at least in an overnight. It might happen in a few weeks especially when the market is in a bull run. As for the bull run, I've seen the crypto market went into the bull run twice already (2017 & 2021). Did I felt shocked? Not at all. I didn't feel any happiness whatsoever during the last bull run, because I don't have plans on selling at that time. Turns out that it's my worst decision ever because I just let my potential profits slip. Instead of happiness, I felt disappointed on myself, but at the same time, it was a lesson learn.

Like the OP said, keep buying Bitcoin as long as you are trusting it. Bitcoin is more than a year away, and a few months after that, the bull run will happen (base on it's past cycles).
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 21, 2023, 10:58:01 PM
I think everyone is starting to accept that the Lakers are over in this series now. It's a miracle the Lakers made it to the finals after losing 3 games, I don't think they can do that.
Again, Murray played very well and had a huge impact on the win. We can say that the first team in the final was the Denver Nuggets.
I think we're going to watch a finale between Jokic and Butler Smiley
Everyone except 2 people. Coach Ham, and Lebron himself. Cheesy

They have a feeling of this "False Hope" where they can still win the series even though no team has ever come up victorious after having a 0-3 deficit. Well, there's still a chance like Coach Ham said in an interview. The Nuggets only has 3 wins, and they need 4 to advance. Still, I don't think that the Lakers will win this series anymore. Game 3 is a crucial game for both teams because it will dictate the future of this series. If only the Lakers won on Game 3, it will be a different scenario.

As for Murray, I just hope that after this great run by the Nuggets, he will be given the respect that he needs. Most of the time, we are always talking about Jokic when it comes to the Nuggets, but in the last 3 games against the Lakers, he is putting monstrous stats, and is averaging more than 30 PPG. He needs that respect, because he's an all-star type of player. Jokic and Murray are right now the best duos in the league. Speaking of Jokic, again he made some history as he's the first player since Oscar Robertson to get 2000 PTS, 1000 REB & 800 AST in a single season (including playoffs).

In a few hours, we will be seeing the Heat defending their home against the Celtics. Heat are undefeated in their home this playoffs, and they only need 2 wins to advance, and make history as the 1st team since the Knicks back in 98-99 to clinch the NBA Finals as the 8th seed.
1253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was your biggest fear with starting in crypto? on: May 20, 2023, 10:27:18 AM
Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing?
Fear of losing their hard-earned money.
I'm not speaking in behalf of my friends or colleagues here because at first place, I didn't tell to them to invest into Bitcoin, or into any cryptocurrency, but they'll be the one who will decide for that. I'm saying it just because for me, it's the main reason why people aren't investing into cryptocurrency.

They are afraid that they might lose their money for different reasons. It's either the market is very volatile, or they might get scammed. This is the problem when people aren't guided with regards to investing in crypto. They are afraid of losing their money especially if that money is the one where they worked for it for a month or two. They're afraid to take the risk, and to ask help with people around them who has been into cryptocurrency for quite some time already.

Did you have any barriers when you first started?
Yes.

Like most of the newbies here, I'm also afraid of losing money back when I was starting in cryptocurrency. What did I do? I invested my free time watching videos, reading articles that's related to crypto. I've spent the last months learning, and learning until I know the basics of crypto. Of course I will not with the complex ones because I don't have time for it, but the bottom-line is I learned first before I invested.

Nowadays, most of the newbies aren't doing it anymore. They just throw their money into something that they think will make money for them without learning it, and the ending? Most of the time they're losing their money. I just hope that people will learn first before investing, so that they can lower their chances of losing money.
1254  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it about morality or productivity in choosing to work from Home on: May 20, 2023, 08:32:22 AM
Did Elon Musk always stay in his company from nine to five in working days? I doubt it Tongue
I don't know if where did I watched it, but there's one video of him in the internet saying that he's working more hours than his employees. Correct me if I somebody saw this one also, but what I remember is he is working 160 hours a week. I know it's kind of impossible, but what's true is that he's working more hours than his fellow employees.

Morality? Productivity? For me, it's all about results. Whether you are working from home, or working in an office with your fellow employees, if you don't have any results in what you're doing then it's useless. You can work from the office, and produce good results, but at the same time, you can also work from your home, and produce good results for the company as well. I guess it doesn't matter where you work from home or work on the office, but producing good results for the betterment of the company matters.

As for me, I see working from as productive one. I mean we've seen companies allowing their employees to do work on their home, and still producing good results. Aside from that, they have more time to their family. Just imagine an employee spending countless hours in the road because he/she doesn't have his/her own car. On average, an employee here in our country spends 2 hours on the road per day because of traffic. Multiply it by 30, that's 60 hours already that the employee doesn't do anything, but sitting. Just imagine how many things you can do in that 2 hours per day. Spend time with your family, eat with them, go to shopping with them, can work more if you want. That's why I don't agree with Musk's mindset, and I believe many here are the same.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS an asset. Do you think it's bad? on: May 20, 2023, 08:10:15 AM
What do you guys think about that? Do you think it's okay that we as a community treat Bitcoin as an asset and not as a technology that should be used to give people freedom from the banks?

Personally, I think that Bitcoin is a great asset, but it's strange to think that crypto just becomes a new stock market where people follow hype and money, and not technology and progress.
Some people see Bitcoin as a currency, and we are all ok about it.
Some people see Bitcoin as an asset, and we are all ok about it.
Some people see Bitcoin as a scam coin, and we are all ok about it.
Some people see Bitcoin as a new technology, and we are ok about it.

I guess people are ok in whatever the way Bitcoin be treated with. People look Bitcoin as an asset, and we are all ok with it, and in fact there are some like me who see it as both an asset, and a currency. People treat it as an asset that's why people are gaining from it, and at the same time, they treat as a currency that's why we're seeing more and more establishments accepting Bitcoin as another mode of payment.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 20, 2023, 07:52:31 AM
Miami went crazy at the end of this game to get the win. It was fun to watch. Butler and Williams got into it and Butler came out on top in the end. I’m a believer in this Miami Heat team now. If they can go get 2 at home in Miami they’ve got themselves a chance a lot a ring. Looking a lot like Miami vs Denver is coming at this point.

It's very arrogant for Williams to compete against Jimmy while his role is not the Ace of Celtics. He somehow copied Dillon Brooks path for making a thrash talk to an enemy Ace player. He just encouraged Butler to play better and motivate more to beat them. Miami heat is on the clutch right after Grant Williams 3 pts. It's funny how he think they got Heat already but choke in the end.

Tatum has a lot of loose balls in crucial times and was also very unlucky on a field goal in the 4th quarter. I think God of luck is with Jimmy this year.  Cheesy
Well, both of them respect each other base on the interview with both of them so... it's just the competitiveness that made both of them trash talked with each other. The difference is that, Williams woke up the dragon inside in Butler, and after that head bang, the Heat went on to make a huge run, and stealing one "AGAIN" in the road.

3% chance of winning? Who said that? Celtics has 97% of getting into the NBA Finals again?? Who said that? Now the Heat are defying the odds, and now 2 games away from going into the NBA Finals again since the 2020 Bubble. I don't know if there's anybody who has a home court advantage, played Games 1 & 2 in their home, and both lost. I guess it's the Celtics only.

Big Perk said it already, they hope that they will not see Playoff Butler on this series because he's different in the playoffs. Aside from Butler, let's give credits to Adebayo, and the X factor of this game which is Caleb Martin who scored 25 points off the bench. This is what's good when you know the capabilities of your players. The Heat had undrafted players, and they don't have an all-star aside from Adebayo, and yet they are playing like they're the top seeded team last regular season.

As for the Celtics, Tatum, and Brown didn't score in the 4th quarter, and this is Tatum's 2nd straight game where he didn't score a field goal. It's very disappointing if you're a Celtic fan to see your team losing the first 2 games on your home. Now the Heat are on the verge of using that "BROOMSTICKS" of theirs, and we might see the Heat using their "WALIS, WALIS" (sweep, sweep) technique against the Celtics. The team who has been in the top in terms of winning the title are now in the verge of getting eliminated. I already predicted that this series will end up with Heat winning in 6 games, but it seems like it will end in 4 games knowing that the Heat never lost on their home in this playoffs.

These days everyone is talking about the Meme coins and they are trending. Do you like investing in MEME coins ?

Do you like Meme coins and what are your Opinions on Meme coins. I understand Meme coins have no use case but they have hype and that's what you need to make money. Yes, the narrative of Meme coin is very short lived but it may give you 50x or 100x returns within no time.
Hype = profit I agree, but at the same time, Hype = losses for most people.

Just imagine how many are getting profit in investing into meme coins compare to how many are losing investing from it. TBH, I don't like meme coins because they don't have any use case at all. Even DOGE which has been there for a very long time doesn't have any use case at all aside from the fact that they've been using it for transferring funds because of low transaction fees, and it's transaction speed.

Do I like investing in MEME coins? The risk is too much for me, so I don't like investing into it. I already tried investing into a meme coin one time back when it was being hyped. Tried throwing 20$ on SAFEMOON, and after few weeks of holding it, I ended up losing my money. If I will invest into memecoins again, it would only be DOGE. Still, I don't see memecoins as a medium to long term hold. Well, I know that meme coins is hyped right now, and hype = money. I guess good luck for those who will try their luck in investing into these shitcoins, but as for me, I will not invest into it.

In most custodian wallets like trust wallet staking is available for most crypto currencies including trx.is it better to stake such a coin or hodl it
I didn't try to use Trust Wallet for staking, and TBH I'm not using them at all, so I don't know if it's a good thing to stake your cryptocurrencies there.

Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency
One thing to consider when you are staking is the risk. You might've earning some coins from staking, but there's a chance that the total value of that coins that you got from staking is lower than the total amount of losses that the coin has made thus, making you loss money still.

I've been staking Cardano for quite some time already, but still I will not say that it's wise to stake altcoins especially if you aren't that knowledgeable to it. I can say that I'm still in profit even after the bear market because I bought it way below the bottom price last year

There are some staking coins that has their own application, or software that have been made by the company in order for the holder to stake it on that app. As for Cardano, I've been staking it on Daedalus which they created, so that it would be safer compare to if I choose to stake it in Binance or whatever platform it is. Is staking profitable? Yes, but it depends on how long you will hold that coins. There are some coins especially those top altcoins who are pumping hard when the bull market comes. That's the time where you can profit the most because you can sell all the coins that you staked plus the total coins that you've got from staking to earn that profit. On the other hand, if you only staked for months only, it will not be profitable at all.
1259  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 19, 2023, 09:57:42 PM
What happened:: The user (Shan85) wearing both signatures of Duelbits signature as well as signature of BetterCallRaul (each before receiving the payment.

I did not know this happened mistakenly Sorry. I accept my mistake and I’m ready to refund last week payment to both of you Roysee and Hhampuz. SORRY
I wonder if you will really do it knowing that there's a possibility that you might still have some alt accounts here.
I also think, what if he really refunds the BTC that he got from 2 campaigns illegally, will the negative trust be removed, or at least turn to a neutral one?

You don't know? What a pathetic reason coming from you. You are in the forum for around 1 1/2 years already, and you don't know? Just say that you cheated because you really did. I will wait for you to pay back Hhampuz, and Royse with the money you stole from them. Smiley

but I've always understood that if you're in a campaign and change your signature even briefly, it's noted by the campaign manager....somehow.  I never understood the somehow, but is that not the case?  And if it were as easy as switching sigs and trying to fool managers, we'd be seeing way more of these shenanigans.

Consider Duelbits that has about 112 participants, it will be very tedious to check if the 122 participants are wearing signature, then check for the post quality, then count the number of posts, update spreadsheet. This is a whole lot of work for a CM that is managing upto 5 different campaigns.

Why I don't blame the managers is because, no normal human being will ever think of switching signature between companies and receiving payments. It's weird to reason such and that is not actually something that I can conceive throughout my stay in this forum and likewise many other genuine users.
I'm thinking of this for hours already, and I don't know if they will consider this one, but I guess I'll just share it.

You already said that Duelbits has 112 participants, and Hhampuz is managing more than 1 campaign aside from Duelbits. At the same time, Royse is managing many campaigns as well. I'm thinking if they will hire somebody here to help them in counting posts, and to monitor each participant, so that things like what @Shan85 did will not happen in the future. I don't know, but it's just my suggestion for both of them. Smiley

TBH, it's my first time to see a user here switching signatures between 2 campaigns, and not being caught for more than a week. Will there be somebody who can do it again in the future? I guess so especially if they are really in need of money.

Scam - When i first told my friends about crypto they ignored me and say its a scam
It's completely normal for a person who hears an investment like Bitcoin for the first time to think that it's a scam. TBH, I'm like them when I was a newbie. I also think that Bitcoin is a scam for some reasons, but after learning it, and researching, I realized that I was wrong, and it wasn't a scam. Your friends might need to make some research as well, or just let them be, and ignore them as well, or better if you don't open anything crypto-related to them.

lack of knowledge - since they don't have knowledge and they sometimes think it will be hard to learn, they loose interest in it, but in reality with lots of information over the web and with bitcointalk its really easy to learn something about crypto
That's why we have this forum. That's why we have Youtube. That's why we have different websites where we can learn crypto. There are many ways already for a newbie to learn about crypto online. What they only need is time to do it, and the eagerness to learn it. It's already a good thing that we have an access to these information, and it's free take note.

Mentoring - Although others don't need help from others some are don't have the courage to start on their own and need others to guide them although as i said, bitcointalk is the way to go, but someone should point them to this site for them to realize that
I always believe that having a mentor will shorten your learning curve, and you will learn faster if you have a mentor that will help you. Though like you said that there are some who prefer self-studying, I still thing that having a mentor is a good thing. When I'm starting, I didn't have any mentors at all, and the only thing that helped me is this forum, and Youtube. I learned a lot from these 2 websites, and I didn't have a mentor that's why it took me longer time to learn.

Money - Although money is important they thought that the only way to earn in crypto is to have money to invest, but there is lots of things how to earn without money
Resources - some have laptop mobile phones, internet but others only have to rent, that is why they have less time go online and check what is going on, but if you are like this, don't stop, even though not daily but try to go online if you have time.
These 2 are somewhat correlated with each other.
In order for you to make money, you need some resources.

You said it already that there are many ways to earn money online, and these money can be used to buy the resources that they need if they really want to use cryptocurrencies. Like I said, if somebody really wants to learn it, they will do everything just to have it, and that's include saving some of their money to buy a laptop, or a phone etc.
