Lauda I removed the stats because they were old, if you want to update them anytime soon please let me know. Thanks for the great job.
Edit: Fixed the long list by adding code brackets instead of quotes.
Well technically I couldn't have updated them as there were no additions last month. However, I'll definitely update for November (hopefully I won't forget). Also, the second post looks much better after the fix. It's alright, I very much appreciate your work so far; I'm thinking to keep it strictly for last couple of months. Beyond that there's no meaning and it's getting a bit chaotic IMHO. The important thing is that others (ie: you, Fatman) have been contributing to this project because both my hands are tighten up to another job at the moment.

LTC/CNY on OKCoin just went full retard hitting 1CNY with ~1.5Mio Volume That was "only" 50K dump that zeroed the order book. Go away, nothing to see here... You missed a 0, its 500k dump. Like the one who dumped them he cares if I missed a zero or not... FWIW: LTC seems like a nice investment at the moment.

FWIW, I think that any single one of us here could be him (her/it). If I was in his shoes, I'd definitely want to closely monitor my invention. Also, I don't think that this has to do anything with money. Even now, if he decides to stay anonymous and spend his lifetime on a remote island surely he has the way and the means to do so and no one would've ever notice.
Being nominated for the Nobel prize though, is something that is more than "fame" or "money". I believe that this nomination legitimizes bitcoin as an innovative means of transaction. Remember the only publicity BTC had up until now from the mass media was about SR, MtGox fraud, allegedly Ponzi schemes etc.
As saturn643 said above, it certainly couldn't be him to receive the prize if he doesn't want to reveal his identity...

This could come off the world of weird but, here it is. Satoshi Nakamoto is nominated for a Nobel Prize in Economics. What do you think? Could this be the catalyst to reveal who's behind the Bitcoin revolution? The Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences is, as with most Nobel prizes, quite a big deal. Past laureates are a who’s who of economics—and starting in 2016, that list could include the inventor of Bitcoin. Assuming, of course, someone works out who that is.
Satoshi Nakamoto is the widely recognized inventor of Bitcoin. They published a 2008 paper outlining the concept, and wrote the original software the underpins the internet’s most popular digital currency. But Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym, and despite some intense on-and-offline digital snooping, no-one knows anything at all about Nakamoto.
That hasn’t stopped UCLA Professor of Finance Bhagwan Chowdhry from nominating Nakamoto for the 2016 Nobel Prize in Economics. In a Huffington Post article, Chowdhry explains his choice:
The invention of bitcoin — a digital currency — is nothing short of revolutionary...it offers many advantages over both physical and paper currencies. It is secure, relying on almost unbreakable cryptographic code, can be divided into millions of smaller sub-units, and can be transferred securely and nearly instantaneously from one person to any other person in the world with access to internet bypassing governments, central banks and financial intermediaries such as Visa, Mastercard, Paypal or commercial banks eliminating time delays and transactions costs. http://gizmodo.com/the-unknown-inventor-of-bitcoin-nominated-for-the-nob-1741375309

Thank you for removing my stats. The List looks huge due to the second post (not using code brackets for the alphabetical order).
-snip-
Even though your input is appreciated I suggest that you do not double post but rather update your posts. Lauda I removed the stats because they were old, if you want to update them anytime soon please let me know. Thanks for the great job. Edit: Fixed the long list by adding code brackets instead of quotes.

The price seems to want to gravitate towards a $362 floor or so. That extra $20 seems to be scaring away new buyers heh. Maybe it will stop around $370 though.
The price has been solidly above $350 for a while, looks like $290 is the new $190. Never to be seen again except for freak occasions. I wonder what will happen if the MMM scheme decides to diversify with another altcoin (ie: LTC or XMR or even ETH)... Hmm...

Nothing too significant for the weekend, we've predicted thus far and talked about it offline with Klee. This period was critical IMHO, in order for the price to go higher. Let's see what happens on Monday!

China is not following. So far we can consider this a healthy correction.
It was becoming ridiculous...
This is indeed a healthy correction. It was becoming a vertical rise which (IMHO) it's not a "healthy" way to go. The inevitable short-ing was caused by the western exchanges, while China -literally- didn't give a damn. In any case, we're resuming to higher levels from now on. IMHO, that was a nice thing that happened since we basically were heading for 25% daily rise... Kinda scary stuff happens in this territory (aka: unpredictable).

What about alts? LTC, DOGE, XRP? How much will they follow BTC?
This is dependant to where BTC stops... no way you can say if this happens anytime soon.

Great flick... Great thread Now the 450-480 resistance can be cut like a butter. But we may go sideways for a while or even south. But macsga says 550.... Yep; I support this claim. As previously klee said, we're working together on a robust prediction scheme and we may have an announcement to make for all you guys that want to get into "safe" trading. I know this sounds ridiculous, but we're testing some mathematical models right now and -so far- we think they're working.
