Hi gang. havent been around. we are in full grape harvest mode here at the winery. Thought I'd check in and start up my wallets my wallets...and its been stuck Syncing data at 75% for about 15 minutes.
Edit: Opps....its finally synced. Sorry. All good here on the western front. Holy cow...lots of interesting things going on.

I am not a shill account. I am simply an entrepreneur and crypto enthusiast.
I know how to use the ignore button AdamWhite. I wasn't logged on when reading BCT on my phone, and happened to see your post calling me out.
The structure of the Dash project makes it the most interesting crypto project that I have seen in a long time, it is the true Honey Badger IMO.
Anyway, keep posting away and see what happens. No need to quote or address me anymore as it seems you aren't willing to pay to play.
Please don't let AdamWhite bother you. Ignore him, and when you're not logged in, skip over whatever trash he's talking, and relax. Anyone who has been here more than a month knows the trolls  It's better never to acknowledge as they feed off of any kind of attention So no worries, don't let them get under your skin. I noticed stuff was deleted all the way through to the beginning. I went all the way from page 0 to page 43, I think, and couldn't find where we decided to keep going after realizing the number of coins that were "spilled" out at the very beginning, but I clearly remember it, even having looked it up only a few months ago. It was not a formal vote to continue on, but rather everyone chirping in that they didn't want to lose over a week of mining. I don't know why the moderators saw fit to remove that one? I guess I can only go by what is documented. It is a shame that content was deleted. However, more information can be added to a second edition of the book at a later date. I updated to V12 yesterday and I'm having issues with my masternode staying online. I start it from my wallet and I can see that it is enabled from my vps right away but after a couple hours or something, I don't know the exact amount of time, I'll check it again and it's not online. I tried doing "grep HotCold .dash/debug.log" again, there was no message after I did this, and restarting my vps but neither of those have worked. Anyone have any ideas what I could be missing?
Having similar issues as you have described. My only success so far has been to leave my cold wallet open for one of the MN's and it seems to have been my longest running active mn so far. I think we might have to hold tight and wait for release 45 which the dev folks are working hard on ATM. Guys, please make sure both your local wallet and remote node are running on the same protocol Another noob question...can I update my cold storage wallet to v12 while the MN's are on V11, till Splawik gets back? I was going to go ahead and update the wallets, but don't want my MN's to go down. Thanks.... |

or masternodes could mine with only one core instead of all cpu cores. Most of our servers have 4 or more cores.
3000 decentralised more cores of hashing power sounds good to me.
this seems like a cool idea. I would be interested in having that set up with my MN's...could your run 2 or 3 cores or do MN's need 2 or more cores to operate properly. I'll pass this by Splawik. |
