ill do one better. ill take photos of us bottling today... and post them on here. ill post a logo of dark coin on one of my cases of wine. give me a couple of hours... just waiting foe our new labels to arrive. we are bottling 1600cases today: 2013 Sauv Blanc, 2013 Gewurztraminer, 2013 Chardonnay, 2013 Chardonnay /Viognier, 2013 White Blend l, 2013 Reisling Ice wine, 2012 Pinot Noir dijon clone 115 and 777. Big Reds to be bottle in 2 months from now Whatever you say next, nothing beats Douro, regardless of the price  are you kidding me.... I love douro. I just planted 2 acres of toriga naticoinal because of that i know the wine maker at Quinta do Crasto. just opened a bottle of 1994 reserva ... amazing and would have been quite price at auction. $700+ maybe... excellent value in douro and the quality is vast improving. |

And the whole thing went down to 80 because some dude is moving just a 2000 dark wall at 89, yesterday at 97.. It's just ridiculous.
This game of buying low is going to kill the coin.. Another caring soul MC Hammer ... here to save us from our doom. This is like people selling bitcoins during the crash from 7 USD. Same conversations, different Trolls. Why the comparison with BTC? Fundamentals. There are more than 800 masternodes already and first REAL TRUSTLESS (yes please do look that up) has gone through. You have an excellent dev team. So please sell I really thought I would never be able to afford another masternode until today!

I would predict second week of August, given how hard Evan is working. There seems to be a new release pretty much every day.
Goodmorning Mr. Shojayxt. as you know better then most... what is stated above is the opinion of a supporter Mr. Shojayxt, and not an official Dev statement. So please dont give us all a headache again today. Evan has never stated a firm date because ... if you ever have developed code... thats impossible to do. Its still the official line that it will be at the end of July. You and would agree that ita always better to release when truly ready then rather then before its ready. |

My very first post  I have very much enjoyed reading the last few thousand pages of insight, nonsense and FUD. From my point of view, it is clear how much Darkcoin has to offer but the big question mark for me is whether the devs can deliver RC4 without a hitch. Evan and team are clearly working their asses off and doing all they can to ensure a clean release but history does not fill the casual observer with confidence over what may or may not happen when RC4 comes along. I have huge admiration for the devs but I don't think there will be a second chance should RC4 go badly. For what its worth, I'm just enjoying the cheap DRK on offer today. I am just at my limit of what I can in all good conscience afford to lose if things do go wrong. I have bundles of faith in the concept but so far, not much faith in the execution. I wish all involved the very best of luck. Great first post! and very insightful. In hind sight I'm not certain what could have been done in the development to have changed the expectations on the beta's. I really think that it wasn't the devs or Evan fault but the over zealous supporters pumping the hell out of things and creating unrealistic expectations in the beginning of beta releases. That complicated things and has caused this hyper sensitivity that we now have to live with. Lets hope for a smooth RC4 release.  |

After the completion of Rc4, the Minimum price will be 0.05 and Rising to Moon
I appreciate your unbridled optimism! As much as I would like to think we hit .05 soon I kind of doubt it but surely drk will be much higher than it is now. Seems like market sentiment is skewed against a successful RC4, given the hiccups with two previous releases. If Evan and team can deliver successfully this time, and all the auto-denom feature is working flawlessly and 10DRK limit lifted, I think we will experience a sustained rally from these levels. Transaction volumes on the darkcoin network and exchange volume in DRK/BTC pairing may increase dramatically and rapidly if we get lots of bitcoiners exchanging in and out of dark to clean up their dirty bitcoin (please, let us not judge how darkcoin is used but appreciate its utility). This is very price supportive. Add to that the speculators who will jump back in as prices rise and here we have a very nice path higher. For the time being, there is still some uncertainty about current progress and timing of RC4 release that probably does not help improve sentiment atm. Hopfully eltito can manage expectations properly and give us some kind of update soon. I think this is a reasonable observation. Obviously there are big investors like myself that hold investments for much longer periods also I'm looking to set up several Masternodes...though whats holding me back at the moment is I wish to have my own servers rather then rent server space so it comes down to time management. I think over the next 12 months the average price will be around the 0.02 to 0.05 mark, of course depending on the code progress. I predict that there will be those that will have been spooked will clear out under 0.02 and be happy with breaking even...and thats fine too. Its going to be the BTC/LTC crowd that is waiting on the sidelines that is going to drive this for the next several months as you mentioned. I, like many others are very confident on what lies ahead...so these price dips, though irritating are part of the program. |

will it keeps going down  yes... sage advice from mr. dreamy! i should have used ur thought process with BTC when pricing fluctuated 50% down. first at $7, then at $23 then $50. it would drop to less then half the price and all the clowns would spew the same crap mr dreamy States. it took 2 years to be where it is. i really like this because this is cleaning house big time. short time traders never win in the long run(several years). my suggestion is find a coin yhat you believe in and hold and dont look at short windows of time... darkcoin is up over 2000% since January... thats pretty damn good id say. |

yes, i created that one, and i also gave away 1000s of drk to help this coin...
but that was in the beginning...
now we are established, and established coins dont really need a faucet.. imho
The confusion comes from the fact that DRK really shouldn't be established when it doesn't even have a final RC. There has been so much acceptance and early adoption that those who didn't pay attention have irrational expectations. DRK has had acceptance levels unheard of for a coin so early in development that people really shouldn't be using it, but have been for 5 months and it still isn't even ready... Those who jumped in without recognizing this reality are the unhappy campers making bad suggestions to pump their holdings. One guy even admitted that he was mad that he lost money cuz he invested his rent payment and then the value went down... What a fuckin' moron... Paying rent with your investment? Investing with your rent money? Investing money you can't live without? Living beyond your means? The list of bad decisions this guy made started long before he put his money into a pre-release crypto expecting magic to happen on schedule with his landlord... Fucking stupid. i whole heartily agree. Darkcoin came out of tbe gate way to fast. drk was and is in essence in testing, literally still is. this created a mistaken culture of entitlement. most of us long term holders were left scratching our heads. we knew and still know darkcoin will certainly go beyond $50+ /drk, the problem is we were expecting it in a year or two and not in 6 months. we had and have projections that surpass $50...but not immediately |

Selfishness has nothing to do with it. It's about IQ points. Faucets are useless, that's why nobody does it. BTC was created in a crypto vacuum. DRK was not. No alt has been helped by a faucet. Ever. No person has everbought something useful with 0.00000001 of the alt that they got for free. It doesn't do anything. Such a harsh man camosoul. And there, for a moment, people who hadn't heard of such a thing were thinking that there is the possibility of a free lunch in crypto after all! Another bubble burst.... Reality is harsh. There is no candy coating on the free market of crypto. I encourage people to harden the fuck up before they get hammered for being pussies. camosoul you always put a smile on my face even of i dont always believe in the delivery... you always have a message. |
