2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-04-27] Nike Files Trademark Application In The US For "Cryptokicks" on: April 28, 2019, 08:51:00 PM
What a nice way of admitting that they are aware of the reseller market happening and its their own way to market their own clothing wear and footwear. And knowing how Nike brand loyalists do it I expect that they'll be using the market placeNike has built. With this move if they are successfully secure the patent then we expect to see Nike definitely leading the race against Adidas and Under Armour.  But I know how patents work and maybe other sportswear brands are not far behind on making their own versions out of it.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Trading on Nasdaq is Coming on: April 28, 2019, 07:27:18 PM
It won't be traded in the NASDAQ itself, if this really happen NASDAQ would only provide a separate market for cryptocurrencies and not mix it up to stocks of companies as it will just complicate things. The positive side is if this happens USA will be like South Korea on having their own crypto market with the benefits of price gaps happening with their own market. This might be the american government wants in the first place on having their own independent crypto market running without big foreign influence as much as they can.

2403  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Token Taxonomy Act on: April 28, 2019, 06:27:05 PM
I don't think that 1,500 signatures would be enough to do any kind of such influence on a passing of a bill in congress. You see passing of a bill into a law is tricky especially if you have a majority and a minority side all they do is to find this kind of compromise to each other just to pass it on another floor, even if these 1,500 souls are somehow heard I wouldn't be surprised that the senate and the congress will have a big changes on the law itself.  Speaking about the signees itself I don't think I need to be a part of it since as of the moment of writing this the petition has 1,107 signatures out of the 1,500 goal.
2404  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nitrogensports.eu dodging questions regarding their operation on: April 28, 2019, 05:29:56 PM
This is not my first time to look at Nitrogensports' website and surprisingly I just notice that they don't show any kind of legal permits/badges for their gambling operation unlike gambling websites we have seen which they have in common to have a Curacao gaming license under their page you won't see any kind of license in their website. The most sketchiest thing is what TheNewAnon135246 have found and that is their company's profile information which doesn't really give anything at all.
2405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which unique factor makes crypto exchange a reliable choice to start trading? on: April 27, 2019, 09:27:17 PM
Their service's uptime is what is important for an exchange since technically the crypto market has no market opening and closing we need their services to be reliable for 24/7 because you just don't want to be missing any of those trades. Other than that their U.I. smoothness in operation, you don't want to be using an exchange that lags or hangs during your trade since this can make or break you. Most exchanges when it comes to pricing are on par you always need to look at their reliability when it comes to their operation
2406  Other / Meta / Re: Why I was perma-ban? Spam or plagiarism? Hell no! on: April 27, 2019, 07:57:23 PM
I think the OP had know it would be coming since he suspected that he was banned from either spam or plagiarism which looks like the case. I think cybersoft's posting style where he just gets images as well as the specs and even text without any kind of references made him unknowingly do plagiarism, he might not be aware of his actions though that is why he is asking for what happened actually.
2407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stops bank runs - own your keys! on: April 27, 2019, 06:18:35 PM
What is most interesting about this scandal is that it shows the strength of Bitcoin. Bitfinex is one of the largest crypto exchanges and holds several percent of the whole market crypto capitalisation in escrow. In spite of this, the market only dipped 5% which is pretty much a normal-day in the crypto world.

I think this article speaks for itself, a big scandal like this in the stock market would have brought down a company's stock and maybe some along with it. No matter how much money was involved through that scandal it felt like Bitcoin has somewhat not shaken about it because really the crypto market have been in a similar if not the same situation a few times before. To be honest I didn't even felt Bitcoin had dropped significantly for me to have a quick move in it, I just went back online again in a few hours and I notice that BTC was climbing back up again.
2408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Facts} Disadvantage of promoting signature campaigns that encourages spamming. on: April 27, 2019, 04:01:59 PM
The problem I see here is that campaign managers from these kinds of campaigns tolerate them to do so, if they let their participants to be paid on their low quality posts it let's them see that the campaign manager is ok with that. If they are somehow strict on monitoring their post counts and post quality then the participants themselves will be forced to avoid spamming and spend more time thinking what they will be posting next. With this thing happen it only will lead to the participants spamming the forum just to receive the regular pay.
2409  Economy / Speculation / Re: "RIP bear market" on: April 25, 2019, 08:55:42 PM
For some of us that has been following the events in cryptocurrencies market, I don't think there is any reason why the bearish trend should continue and that is why I am joining other cryptocurrencies enthusiasts to say "rest in peace bear market "(December 2017--December 2018)
So even a failure to push in above a key resistance won't make us continue to go down at all? This is what is wrong everytime Bitcoin is going up they all think positive rather than think at all, they always remove the fact that Bitcoin isn't fixed to one direction. Their mindset is blinded by the current price movement rather than think all the possibilities that could happen, the end result is them holding up a cryptocurrency with paper loss rather than being satisfied to even take any kind of profit at all.
2410  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-25] Samsung Ploughs $2.9 Mln into Crypto Hardware Wallet Giant Ledger on: April 25, 2019, 08:02:40 PM
I see this move more for their country rather than a global one, even if they don't they will likely make South Korea their first country to try out the project on, since they did it before in the past I know this will be their next likely move for the venture. We all know South Korea is big on cryptocurrencies and I think Samsung is just trying to exploit the demand for it and I don't blame them to do so since they are on a perfect spot as a tech company in a crypto savvy country.
2411  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitMoolah - Anonymous Bitcoin Credit Card Programme on: April 25, 2019, 06:36:07 PM
Lol, just as I suspected your Visa Credit Card isn't truly anonymous as one of your cards which has the bigger advantage requires KYC. I suspected early on that VISA won't allow their cards to be handed out to random strangers, they are a big company and they'll be handling transactions they won't let just anyone have the ability to pay in credit without them knowing who are they first or do they even have the ability to pay back. I even suspect that your "gold" card have some kind of KYC before the user even have it.
2412  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia Prepares To Buy Up To $10 Billion In Bitcoin To Evade US Sanctions on: April 25, 2019, 04:30:20 PM
So did the russian government actually started this bull run? Because all things checks out the news said they started buying in February this year which BTC showed already signs that it was being overbought now if Russia have contributed around 10 Billion dollars that is more than enough to pump the prices from 3,000$ to the 5,000$ level area. Because besides this news I cannot see any other news that has the reason to directly jump the prices of Bitcoin.
2413  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Response to FATF Regarding Regulation & Monitoring of Virtual Assets on: April 25, 2019, 03:13:21 PM
Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, or derivative currencies such as Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash can be analyzed with blockchain analytics tools, and therefore tracking the entire transaction chain is not necessary. However, privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies, such as Monero which is designed for anonymity and includes a money-laundering currency mixing technology in the protocol, need much stronger regulation and oversight. Fortunately, Monero as a “View Key” capability which may be adapted to meet regulatory requirements with sufficient technical analysis and oversight.

Well if they left out cryptocurrencies that has a normal blockchain behind them then I am all for it. I'm even surprised that the tried to left out coins such us Bitcoin and Litecoin on having a general regulation instead they might have a special regulation regarding these privacy regulation which I think money launderers have move to specially since authorities have catch up on how to track transactions in the blockchain. I'm for this regulation since launderers are criminals anyways.
2414  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex locked me out on: April 25, 2019, 06:15:24 AM
For crypto related online services this is their best alternative for you not showing up physically in their offices since KYCs from stock brokers require a similar approach when you are submitting proper documentation. Since exchanges could have users all around the world I think this is the best and only option for KYC. A selfie together with your ID shows proof that you are the real person behind the ID, because let's be real here just submitting an ID isn't enough to show that you are the real person using the account.
2415  Economy / Reputation / Re: Probable merit abuse. Let's investigate it. on: April 24, 2019, 07:42:37 PM
Personally, i don’t think the posts are particularly interesting or especially unique or have anything important/helpful within the context of the threads where they were posted.
And you are right to say that. Even quality and well thought post don't even receive that kind of amount from one person anymore. The thing is with merit abuse we cannot always link them to each other not until we see a more convincing story that they are abusing the merit system. What I mean about that is they excessively abuse the system and they from sending high volumes to particular people which also them are sending it back to him. Without any kind of links in the merit system whatsoever the merits are likely bought from someone.
2416  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Have The BITCONNECT PROMOTERS Paid Their VICTIMS Back? on: April 24, 2019, 06:57:36 PM
The thing is with lawsuits involving around promoters who are users themselves and aren't directly affiliated to the scam aren't that strong cases. One of the strongest defense they can do is they are also victims of the scam as well as unknowingly have promoted the scam itself. For previous scams who have exited the easiest people who often get caught are the ones who have introduced it to you not the mastermind itself, so I really doubt that they'll recover such damages from a person who isn't even affiliated to Bitconnect.
2417  Other / Meta / Re: In the process of willingly locking mdayonliner [locked: Password inside] on: April 24, 2019, 06:05:26 PM
Even if you have voluntarily locked your account it doesn't mean you are far from over here in the forum you haven't shown any intentions that you won't be here in the forum anymore. You just locked your account and you knowing how to gain a lot of merits will surely com in handy on ranking up when you opted out on creating a new account under a new identity. If you are really over from the forum then I think the best thong you can do is never to comeback here in anyway.
2418  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: contact info for bitcoin sites on: April 24, 2019, 04:28:41 PM
Although I'm not sure with my answer since I have been inactive for a long time I think the admins of steemit are active and answers queries to their chatbox which I think is named steemitchat if I am not mistaken. If I am wrong just look through the various official links they have until you find a chat app for steemit. Admins there would have their own section and you can talk to them directly.
2419  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-23] SoftBank Founder Masayoshi Son Lost $130 Million on Bitcoin on: April 23, 2019, 07:52:52 PM
Did he do this on his own or he has "professionals" to help him? I believe it's the former because he doesn't know what he is doing. Doubt that he had any kind of help since his losses won't even reach that high if someone already told him to bail out. This is just a good example how literally anyone can be a victim on their own greed. Buying at the peak without any plans is simply a dumb newbie move thinking that he can still catch the train when everybody is going down to the last station.
2420  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: April 23, 2019, 06:58:47 PM
In terms of price increase I think that Bitcoin's price movement is a little bit fast and is scary to think off. Right now the market confidence is at its highest since Bitcoin declined and this might be another recipe for a disaster if things move fast for Bitcoin. Fast movements and long terms goals doesn't really coincide as I imagined people have set their target prices above 6,000$ this might be good for the profit takes but for us hodlers we might see another downtrend sooner than when we think it will happen.
