The guide that TryNinja provided was good and all the things you need to transact and identify a trusted seller is there. Just keep in mind about the payment methods being offered to you and know if they have your bank available for deposit, they clearly indicate it with their "terms of trade" section. Another thing is if you are trying to sell some BTC of your own try to avoid Paypal as a way to receive payments especially if you would go to a not so reliable buyer as transactions are reversible.
2422  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: lost Bitcoin in electrum wallet on: November 28, 2018, 04:50:57 PM
Whatever the problem is it is not on Electrum's part. The exchange might be having some trouble with the deposit address they have sent you and it is taking some time for them to confirm that they have received your BTC. Can you tell me what is the name of the exchange you are trying to fund? Because if it is a not reputable one chances are your money has been stolen by them, as you can see the money you sent is already sent to another wallet address together with another "deposit" based on their latest transaction.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs: The Cancer of the Digital Currency Industry on: November 28, 2018, 03:54:14 PM
~snip~
Umm, I think Bitcoin came out in 2009 and we didn't start seeing ICOs until 2016.

So please explain how the digital currency market is built on ICOs when ICOs came after the digital currency market. [/size]
There won't even be called a market if only Bitcoin is the only available in the industry. It is called the digital currency market for a reason and that is because there are a wide variety of cryptocurrencies to choose from not only Bitcoin. I don't think 2016 was the first time an ICO was introduces to the market how do you think Litecoin was introduce to the market back in 2011 or Ripple in 2013, it may not be called ICO back then but it is similar on how they introduced it to the market and how they made it available to us.
2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs: The Cancer of the Digital Currency Industry on: November 28, 2018, 03:10:04 PM
Just as I thought I'll be reading a long ass article but really?!?!? You created a 2 paragraphed article and failed to even convince us why ICOs are the reason of the downfall of the market. May I remind you that the cryptocurrency market is built on ICOs that if there were none we won't really have a cryptocurrency market to begin with. Don't you generalize all ICOs into scamcoins making it a reason for its downfall because it is not even half of the story as there are other reasons why we are in a bear market right now and scamcoins is not one of it.
2425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: November 27, 2018, 08:21:03 PM
Even though Sevilla have only managed to beat Real Valladolid with only one goal, but the result was still good enough to put Sevilla at the top in the Spanish La Liga table at the moment, it seems that with Real Madrid unstable performance this season in the Spanish La Liga, there are a few teams that are actually having some hopes to compete for the title this season.
Usually the one who starts at the top doesn't stay in the top. What I mean about that is were not even halfway through the season yet and a lot of things could happen with those 15 matches left for all team. Sevilla ended up fifth in the table last season and without really any improvement on the team I see that they will drop down in the ranking as the season progress. They might stay on top for a while as their next few games are weaker teams compared to them, but I think they have the chance to finish in the top 3 of the table.
2426  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-27] Breaking: Numerous Bitcoin Wallets May Have Been Compromised by Rog on: November 27, 2018, 05:57:19 PM
Good thing that BitPay already confirmed the issues as well as provided the necessary steps on transferring funds of the users who are affected. This was their latest blog post regarding the issue.

Users should assume that private keys on affected wallets may have been compromised, so they should move funds to new wallets (v5.2.0) immediately. Users should not attempt to move funds to new wallets by importing affected wallets' twelve word backup phrases (which correspond to potentially compromised private keys). Users should first update their affected wallets (5.0.2-5.1.0) and then send all funds from affected wallets to a brand new wallet on version 5.2.0, using the Send Max feature to initiate transactions of all funds.

So to any members here who have Copay wallets you should follow BitPay's instructions in order to avoid any chances of losing your funds. So far I haven't seen any reports of stolen cryptocurrencies but I think Copay users should act immediately before this thing goes south.
2427  Other / Meta / Re: Smartass newbie wearing a "signature". BAN? on: November 27, 2018, 05:04:57 PM
He have more than 3 accounts ( at least two are confirmed and banned) but i'm pretty sure he has more accounts hidden.
So if this account is not banned for ban evading, then it should be definitely banned for advertising as Loyce said.
But we have to keep our eyes open for such atitude. If he got paid for doing this s# i'm sure there are others like him.
This should be perma-banned one way or another as he is definitely breaking a lot of rules. And posting that he has two accounts banned is him already admitting that he owns other accounts which is already considered ban evasion. Plus that is two strikes already and he is really not learning how to stop copying and pasting other people's work. I like how these people are somehow pushed in a corner where their high ranking accounts are already useless to them anymore.
2428  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you use this app? on: November 27, 2018, 01:55:38 PM
Sounds like an all-in-one app for me and anyone that sees all the app's features would definitely like it but it would be a particular set of target group. So I wonder who would you think this app will be useful for? Because I myself would only see some of the features personally useful for me so I wouldn't bother installing this app, instead I'll be using on what I am used to do. And that might be the case for other people not using your app.
2429  Other / Meta / Re: Smartass newbie wearing a "signature". BAN? on: November 27, 2018, 12:42:48 PM
This account should also be banned by the admins for posting advertisements not within the signature area, this is not the first time he included an advertisement with his posts. He actually have done it with other ads in the past.

First off, you have to see who leads the bounty. You have to check if that person is capable and competent. Next you have to see who is on the team.

I am thinking that he might have been a newbie in the past where he can't wait to be part of a signature campaign that is why he is doing this kind of illegal advertising and he might be getting paid for this as he has done it several times already.
2430  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ TRUE FLIP: DICE, SLOTS, LOTTERY! HUGE PRIZES! BONUSES! WEEKLY GIVEAWAYS! ★★★ on: November 27, 2018, 12:01:01 PM
Tried their Magic Dice but loading times is horrible on my part using up Chrome with fast internet I have already accepted cookies. Am I the only one experiencing this?.
Agreed, loading times on all of there games are bad and that is using both Chrome and Firefox. I wonder if it is an issue between the servers or there is a bug in the website or maybe because the graphics and sound of the game made the loading time longer. But the good thing is once it has loaded first loading times will be much faster so I really don't want to see this as a big concern in the long run.
2431  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there be a market crisis unfolding in the USA? on: November 26, 2018, 07:11:15 PM
With the spillover effects from commodity markets of declining oil prices into international asset markets
This one is already in the talks as of right now. Known suppliers such as Russia, USA, and Saudi Arabia have been know to unanimously stop production once they see that the oil prices are dropping, they have done it in the past and they are doing it again. It is there saying "we won't be producing the oil that is not demanded by the people" but we all know it is really not about the demand and it is about their profits soaring upwards again. The sad thing about this is the only thing good for us consumers right now is seeing oil pretty cheap right now, but once they stop providing new supply we can expect that gas prices will go up again.
2432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I regret that i entered trading too late on: November 26, 2018, 05:24:16 PM
Actually you are in a good time right now to enter the market. Unlike before where the prices are above 10,000$ this time you can buy Bitcoin at around 4,000$ which I think you are having a great deal for a trader. Mostly newbies think the opposite way where they see that if the prices are high they think that it is the best time to enter the market and if they see the prices are low they think that it is late to enter the market, this misconception made a lot of losses as well as a lot of missed opportunities, so you need to think straight with this one.
2433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to choose a high secured wallet ?? on: November 26, 2018, 04:09:27 PM
many more peoples are asking , ''go for hardware wallet and what are the main advantages of it Huh
Mainly because the storage solution is off the net which means that the only time it is online is when you connect it to a computer with the internet. This means that you will be less vulnerable to hacks and malwares when it stays disconnected to your computer. This is ideal for people who are looking for mainly storing cryptocurrencies as investment and not using their cryptos as a form of payment.
2434  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What are ICO's dealing with legal and tax? on: November 26, 2018, 03:37:30 PM
There is no tax for ICO. But because you say that Singapore and Japan impose an ICO tax. yes that might happen, because there are some countries that have submitted tax applications.
"ICO tax" is there such a thing? Even if there is no tax called "ICO tax" their developers need to pay other kinds of taxes. Mainly because they have earned something from the selling of their ICO. Nothing is left untouched by the taxes system as if there is one they will always find a legal loophole with the system that is why taxes are so vague that it covers all kinds of ways on how a individual or entity is earning money. Just imagine how the world will be if they see a legal way on being exempted with tax if that happens no one will be paying their taxes.
2435  Economy / Speculation / Re: bear and bull market theory on: November 25, 2018, 04:27:41 PM
Well the point is panic selling only adds more fuel to the flames. Prices won't even go down this big if they are not affected by whales selling at massive amounts. The problem here is it can't be avoided, we cannot have some kind of group where we are unified that selling won't be allowed, plus there is no guarantee that all of them won't start selling independently and they have the right to sell their own BTC. This bear market is testing a lot of hodlers especially the newbie ones, but to tell you the truth I doubt that the price drops are due to panic selling, weak hands maybe are already out of the market a long time ago.
2436  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23] Edward Snowden Bullish On Crypto: Blockchain Money Makes Sense on: November 24, 2018, 05:52:47 PM
It is far from that Snowden is bullish on crypto, he just like some parts of technology.
Agreed, he didn't directly said anything that he is bullish in cryptocurrency but he is just merely open to the asset, He didn't even say anything that hints us that he is holding any kind of cryptocurrency in his portfolio. This is another one of those news sources that are giving misleading headlines as clickbait for their sites. On the personality itself, why do you consider the words of Snowden important? I mean he is not even known for his investing skills or anything related to financial growth, I doubt we can consider his words important to the industry.
2437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 22, 2018, 08:05:53 PM
Beal at lakers would help lebron a lot but giving away ingram would be an amazing mistake for lakers. Beal is great and all but ingram could really help lakers in the long term future even after lebron leaves. If they can manage to get beal for people like kcp+rondo+lance for example, wizards will get players that are not that good but allows them to tank that way and get great future picks indirectly, whereas lakers will get beal for almost nothing and can use him at the SG spot for a long term help to lebron.
Although I am not a Lakers fan I am not in favor not unless it is a trade for lottery picks next year I don't see this trade looking good for Lebron. Yeah they might be good for this year but I doubt the Lakers are willing to accept Beal's salary anymore especially with a lot of exciting players entering the free agency market after this season. In the long term I think Lebron really needs to sit this one out and not try to fight in the Western Conference anymore. The team must prepare to recruit high caliber players to help Lebron out.
2438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 141: Blaydes vs Ngannou 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: November 22, 2018, 06:16:11 PM
I think that Curtis Blaydes has the advantage with this one especially that he is out for revenge against the man where he first loss, and that match was a depressing one for Blaydes as the doctor didn't even let him continue to the final round. On the other hand Francis Ngannou is coming from 2 straight losses and the most recent one made it look boring for a lot of people even other UFC fighers are laughing. Blaydes here will surely be the favorite for the upcoming match in 141.
2439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 22, 2018, 05:16:16 PM
Ronaldo is different player now when he is playing for Juve
He is much more relaxed and playing for team
I really like his way of play
You can mainly thank Massimiliano Allegri for that even before Juventus was never known to have the best players in its roster but they play football like a team, all the players are glued to each other. With Christiano Ronaldo in their lineup they have a good chance in winning the Champions League.

I am positive for Italian team.Italy is on the way to build
new team they have good young players i think Italy will improve
Look Germany it is pure tragedy now
I hope that the Italian league will rise back up to popularity again not only them but also their national team as well. Seeing Italy not qualifying for the World Cup almost made me quit watching their league but I know that one day they will be prominent again in Europe and hopefully they win some Champions League trophies back starting with Juve.
2440  Economy / Economics / Re: POLL: Would you rather see Bitcoin price grow steadily or in spikes? on: November 22, 2018, 03:08:16 PM
It really depends on who you are asking. If you are an investor who does not monitor their investments and is looking for a one time earning you would probably like a steady growth on the asset. But for traders it will be ideal for them to see a spike growth for Bitcoin, this is favorable to them as they can always short sell BTC in order to accumulate more. The traders right now are probably earning from BTC consistently as they are buying and selling it at a profit based on the current movement of Bitcoin. I personally like BTC's movement now as I have no plans of adding more cash into the market that is why I always short BTC when the opportunity arises.
