2441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ‘Won't Turn Out to Be a Complete Delusion' on: April 02, 2019, 07:06:33 PM
Couple of years back, some individual who feel they so much understand the financial market claimed Bitcoin to be a bubble as well as a delusion then, currently have a change of opinion. Niall Ferguson is one of such and this is an extract of his recent opinion.

British economic and financial historian Niall Ferguson says that cryptocurrencies will not turn out to have been a complete delusion, as he had once assumed.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/economic-historian-niall-ferguson-crypto-wont-turn-out-to-be-a-complete-delusion

With no doubt, it's becoming very clear to all that the revolution of blockchain and Cryptocurrency at large is unstoppable.
See even those who once been against Bitcoin is now accepting the fact that it would be part of our life.
We couldn't go blind on this because it is clear that the world is adopting to crypto little by little .
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: March 27, 2019, 02:42:23 PM
There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle
I am also careful on submitting my personal info in those bounty ,
Just imagine they would pay us in exchange for our personal info which we don't really have an idea what would they do after it,
And also there are some people who submits fake information in KYC I think it is not fair for those who really send their real info.
Just imagine how much they could earn if they sell our information ? who are the true earners,Is it the bounty hunters or the bounty that needs KYC?
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODL HODL portfolio on: March 27, 2019, 02:25:38 PM
lets post current portfolio, reason, update when it happens and future plans.

my current portfolio:
40% ONT
60% BTMX

reason for ONT:
ROI if ONG keeps this level: 20% in a year

reason for BTMX
ROI right now is 62% per year for locked coins in mining.

future plans:
1/4 BTMX, 1/4 NEO, 1/4 ONT, and the rest spread in 10 other coins?

You've limited yourself, my portfolio has got 20+ coins. Among that around ten were worthless. The rest has peaked high along with bitcoin, and now lying almost dead. With the hope of recovery holding it. Maybe in long term it could let me earn big, also it didn't have much trading volume. So, this can get de listed or grow high. My portfolio is full of risk involved assets.
Well I think it is better to have limited coins than tons of just worthless token ,
No offense but I also have plenty of crypto in my portfolio and most of them become worthless .
I think he have a good one I also want to limit my portfolio with just a good crypto for a long term investment.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: where do you trade your Altcoin? on: March 27, 2019, 01:57:55 PM
I guess everyone will be happy if they can always have access to translate the alt-coin they hodl to cash.
So what exchange let us do that if the coin not listed? I guess hard to find!! if you lucky you get it forkdelta

If your coins are listed you hope for volume in a serious exchange like the top ones which has really high requirement before listing
which lots of coin fail to pass because it mostly likely not  a well organized project

I use www.huobimena.com  for trading and also OTC deals

Telegram channel: https://t.me/HBMENA
Never heard of it but for my unlisted coin I would always used forkdelta or etherdelta if it is a ERC20 token or coin,
But I also use different trading platform depending on what alt-coin I would trade.
We couldn't use single trading platform because for sure not all of our crypto would be listed there.
2445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: March 27, 2019, 01:31:22 PM
Really it will become just like gambling, addictive and manipulative, it's very much like poker only if you are an expert you can accomplish something

This is also a remind for myself, sometime I would like to trade again but I remember the bad experiences I had with it and stop
Yes if you are trading without knowing what you are doing then it is just like gambling .
There are so many platform that allows you to practice your skills why don't you try it first to learn .
And there are so many tutorial that you could watch in order to learn how to trade properly .
Remember that all professionals started from the bottom too and spend time studying and learning it so if you want to be successful in trading there isn't a short cut in it.
2446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: March 27, 2019, 01:13:29 PM
I don't get it why would you consider trading as an entertainment thing?
Trading is a job but if you consider earning an entertainment then you could say that it is entertaining .
Don't go into trading just because you want to be entertained you might just burn your money if you don't know how to do it.
It could be fun if you are earning in it and it is what you want to do but if you just want to have an entertainment then go with gambling .
2447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gaining quick profits or keep holding? on: March 27, 2019, 12:51:40 PM
The market now gradually increasing and seems like good idea to gain quick profits in my opinion.  What's your view guys?  Is there a tends that it will constantly to rise  after day or two or it will stop increasing again? And kindly suggest which is better way now  "gaining quick profits or keep holding until the bottom of this pump?" )'cause im very confused now which is good strategy and i don't know what to do.
There are coins or crypto for me that is only for a quick profit and there are for long term investment,
If I want to do a quick profit then I would go for the most active alt-coin at the moment ,But for the long term investment then I would go for ETH,EOS and BCH .
It all depends on everyone it depends on our perspective if we want a long term or just a quick profit.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: March 27, 2019, 12:33:11 PM
I think it is good one besides most of the bounty token or new tokens are just being dump after it is listed ,
So most of my bounty reward after I receive it I would just sell it off,
But there are times that I would just sell the half and reserved the other half for the future if I would need some emergency money or if the price ever pump up.
2449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: March 27, 2019, 12:04:34 PM
Philippines is really making it easy with crypto currency.
They made a local wallet for the people in the Philippines to use for the crypto ,
They made it easy to convert crypto into Fiat and making it easy to pay bills with crypto you wouldn't have to leave your house just to pay bills no more waiting for your turn in the counter ,
You could just easily pay it with just a few clicks .
2450  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: March 27, 2019, 11:47:15 AM
My experience in crypto currency has been good I find out crypto because of my friends .
I was convince to try it when they tell me about how much they earn in crypto so I also give it a try.
First was reading some stuff in this forum and learning the basics in trading and also tried to join some bounty campaign and it paid me too ,
So my experience in crypto has been good even when we experience a huge drop last year my portfolio has been down below 50%.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 27, 2019, 11:22:13 AM
Most of them sure is worthless but let's wait till they prove their worth,
They are just new in the industry once they prove they are useful and gain some trust they would surely make a noise and get pump up.
We just have to wait till they finish all of their activity in their road map to see how they would be in the future.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto After Death? on: March 27, 2019, 10:59:43 AM
My crypto would be used by my family after my death I would make sure that someone from my family knows how to use it .
I would also save all of my wallets and password in one hard drive to secure it and give it to them so they could benefit from what I earned in crypto and my money wouldn't be wasted ,
Besides I work for it I earned it I think they should be the one to use it after I am gone.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think would be the best in the long run? on: March 27, 2019, 10:44:58 AM
For me I am still betting on ETH and BTC for the long term investment,
I also think that EOS would also be good for a long run there are so many alt-coin right now but most of them would end up being worthless.
We couldn't really tell which one of them would survive for the long run but we could safely assume that the crypto's that has been around for us in the past would still be good for the future.
2454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was robbed :'( please refer … PLEASE HELP ME ! on: March 26, 2019, 09:15:03 PM
In crypto there is no way to get your money back unless you know the person who receive it .
And you couldn't reverse the transaction and I am sorry to say but it is lost forever you should just move on and let go.
You should have paid attention to your crypto and make sure that it is safely stored if you are going to hold a lot of crypto I think you should have bought a hardware wallet like trezor or ledger to keep your crypto safe.
2455  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: March 26, 2019, 08:21:41 PM
Right now yes we need cash for our daily life because right now we couldn't use crypto to pay for everything,
We aren't in a cashless society so we would still need it,But if we could pay everything with our crypto currency then I guess I could say good bye for Fiat .
Besides I always misplace my wallet and lose some cash,So it would really be great if I could just use my phone to pay for everything.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you listen to technical analysis? on: March 26, 2019, 08:04:40 PM
No because they are also people and they could make mistake so it is better to listen to yourself and do your own decision .
I think we should learn to make our own decision don't rely on other when it comes to investment we should be the one to control our money.
They are also people they just have the experience and knowledge but you could also do what they do if you want ,It would only take some time to know how they do it if you really want to do it too.
2457  Other / Off-topic / Re: The end of all ends on: March 26, 2019, 07:20:02 PM
Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?
For me I think I would still see it and use it till we all grow up and I think even our son or grandson would use it.
So for me it would take some generation before Bitcoin dies ,It could be replace but we don't know when and what would replace it,
But even if it get's replace by some alt-coin it would go down in history for sure so it wouldn't be out of the crypto market.
2458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: March 16, 2019, 11:34:43 PM
Bitcoin and crypto would rise again we are in a generation where technolgy plays a big part in our daily life.
And Bitcoin is part of the technolgy and it is developing and advancing our payment system.
For me it would always rise up after being drop down and I think most of us believe in it and that is the reason why we are still in to crypto because we believe that it would rise again .
2459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investors are coming back ! on: March 16, 2019, 10:53:28 PM
Let's just hope that it would lead to a bull market soon.
And for me the investors didn't go they just went to vacation for a little relaxation and maybe spend more time with their family Cool .
They might be done with their vacation now and continue to work on crypto .
Investor's wouldn't leave crypto because they believe in it why would they leave something that would give them profit  Cool .
2460  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pedophiles In Crypto on: March 16, 2019, 10:25:08 PM
Everyone could use crypto and believe me not only pedo are on crypto.
There are all sorts of people who use crypto and we don't know what kind of people use crypto,Maybe we have all kinds of them from professionals up to the criminals.
And it doesn't matter much because crypto or Fiat wouldn't change them .
