2461  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping of sale threads with alts on: August 29, 2022, 03:27:37 PM
There are bumping related rules which restrict a user from bumping the sales thread before fixed time. But some members are bypassing this by using alt accounts to bump their threads. They just some question related to the service or leave a positive reply on the thread. Is there any way to put a check on this ?
Apart from it being unethical leaving positive review(s) on personal thread(s) with an alt, I don't think it's even an issue bumping one's thread with an alt. Alts are frown at when there's a motif to cheat or circumvent a process as it would be when leaving positive reviews judging with this alleged case, otherwise it shouldn't matter. Beyond that, I don't know why anyone would want to bump their thread with an alt when they can do it from their original account. All one has to do is just make sure it's at least 24hrs before repeating the bump by also deleting their previous. However, OP, if you notice an abuse of this process; report it to a moderator by hitting the link on the down right side of the post. It's that easy.
2462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 29, 2022, 10:31:00 AM
Not an expert but on the same perspective as you, I don't want to see it go lower than that because more FUD will come out if it does so.
You shouldn't be scared of FUD. It has been like a twin to Bitcoin for years. However, I know that despite all the negative press, Bitcoin still remains resolute. If FUD didn't destroy Bitcoin a few years ago when it wasn't this popular, I don't see it having the capacity to do it now. By the way, every Bitcoin fan and investor ought to learn the principle of growing a thick skin and have a FUD plug to the ear to avoid unnecessary distractions. Again, we should also embrace FUD the same way we do FOMO. Those two items are necessary for market stability. We shouldn't expect Bitcoin to soar and not plummet.
2463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 29, 2022, 07:10:19 AM
thus it's a lot of efforts, knowledge and skills to be profitable in crypto trading as well as depend on it for a living, personally I prefer forex trading whose volatility is moderate except during a RED news announcement that always increases price volatility.
The bottom line is that nothing good comes cheap. It takes a mastery of whatever one is doing to prosper in it. Whether cryptos or Forex trading, having a set skills and handle on such is key. Yes, I do agree with you that Forex trading is a bit more organized and less manipulated than what happens in the crypto industry. I'm certain by the time crypto gets just about half of the type of regulations the Forex market has got a lot of things will firm up.

Yes OP, people can actually live on trading alone. Nothing pays better than indulging it as a career. Sadly, only a few take the time to learn the craft and expectedly become profitable in it.
2464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: August 28, 2022, 03:32:43 PM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks
Truth is that no one is clairvoyant enough to sincerely answer that "simple' question. So, that makes the question not simple after all. However, speculatively, I expect Bitcoin to get bullish in November as that month seems to favour Bitcoin.

whats my seniors advise for me, can i sell my tokens or wait. because already am in loss.
If you're not in dire need of money and what you're hodling is Bitcoin (I can't tell since you didn't mention what crypto you're hodling), I advise you don't sell. If they're altcoins you aren't sure of their fundamentals, you can sell off as more dips are likely to come upon the market. On the other hand, treat every Bitcoin purchase or investment as a long term investment. Buy and keep safe in your private wallet, leave it there for harvest later. Don't panic when it dips. Bitcoin is reputable for rising from its downfall.
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Stop auto withdrawal on Tron on: August 28, 2022, 03:16:54 PM
I have over $600 in USDT but each time I send Tron to the address so I can withdraw the USDT, the Tron immediately gets withdrawn to a particular wallet.
You're looking for a way to stop that automatic withdrawal that keeps transfering Tron out to a different wallet. Truth is that the said wallet with $600 isn't yours, and you know it. You think you can outsmart that scammer who told you they couldn't withdraw that amount and then exposed certain seedphrase that gave you access to the wallet. It's a game plan scammers use now and it's a pity you fell for that cheap trick.
2466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thread For Btc Daily Traders, get 70/80% accurate calls. Edit: Forex pairs added on: August 28, 2022, 02:39:46 PM
I can see that you've upped the game by making a call on a Forex instrument, the EU. OP, are we likely to have more Forex trading pairs included or you're going to limit it to just the GBP/USD and EUR/USD pairs? BTW, your chart is without indicators. Do you trade hands free?

Looking at the current chart for Bitcoin today, it's obvious we're still in a dip and may not be out of it this week. That's the view I get from a higher timeframe. Bitcoin has been in a fall for the past two weeks now and it's telling on the general outlook of the market. I expect more bloody days ahead.
2467  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Know this is scam but I don't know how they go about it. on: August 27, 2022, 07:53:56 AM
This is an old trick. Those who are still caught up in it this day should hide their faces in utter shame for allowing their greed get hold of them. We can excuse those who got scammed when this scam debuted on the excuse that they saw a cry for help and mistook it for a genuine cry, offered to help rescue distressed wallet owners but got done in. What about today that the scam has become rampant. Shouldn't people begin to realize that there's no free cash anywhere?

Like several posters have explained the process as a pure ensnarement, I believe those contemplating harvesting the supposed trapped cash in the exposed wallet should call themselves rogues if they as much as made an attempt to reap where they didn't sow.
2468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: August 27, 2022, 07:35:15 AM
right now i’m in debt for $6k but i want to keep DCA. should i focus more on pay my debt down or investing?
I will differ here having read many comments in support of you repaying the debt first before pursuing investment. I think you should invest but that will depend on the attitude of your creditor towards the money. If they aren't pressing for a repayment I don't think that will be an issue then. However, you've to make sure you keep in touch with them so as not to give them a false assumption that you aren't willing to repay it. Hopefully, your investment pays off and you can speedily off set all you owe.
2469  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War in Ethiopia, why is everyone silent? on: August 27, 2022, 06:27:13 AM
To answer your question on why the silence, I will put it mildly – Perhaps it's because Ethiopia proved stubborn to Europe in the past as it wasn't colonized by any. It remained the only country in Africa with Liberia that weren't colonized.

If you do not want democracy, then you will have a war in your country .. how many times will this story be repeated?
I see this pattern all the time too and I see the hand of the US in it. It was the same fate Libya suffered under Gaddafi. A country that was well run but the US felt it should be a democracy and ousted the charismatic but stubborn Gaddafi out of office. Till today, Libya has remained in a troubled state. It's the same thing that's likely going to play out in Ethiopia. When will Africans learn?

Come to think of it, the super powers are often the problem of this world and the crisis therein. They like to head to countries they know they can get something compensatory from if they have to intervene in their crisis. There's always a point of interest. Otherwise the stay out. Most times, they're the troublemakers who hide pretentiously to act the good guy. They instigate the problem and then act like they're offering help.
2470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having different perspectives on: August 27, 2022, 05:57:56 AM
You don't have to write a fiction to teach others.
I don't see anything wrong in what they did. Anything didactic is welcomed, nothing bad about it. Sharing an analogy makes a lesson or teaching stick better that when it isn't used. It's a kudos to the OP for me.

From the picture OP painted, I would easily merit the Sparrow dude than Paul. Sparrow's method of teaching appealed to me as it went deeper beyond the surface. Not just because it has more words in it but because it showed effort and input more than what Paul did. However, I still won't be shocked if someone merited Paul because as I kept saying that merit is a subjective thing. It depends on the perception of the user who is sending the merit across.
2471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Started a 1k to 10k challenge in 20 days and it's going well! on: August 26, 2022, 07:14:32 AM
Heard about dogechain but not sure how that sh* works, will have to check them out and get my money out before they get "HACKED"
Don't put your cash in an investment you've a premonition it would crash or in your word, "hacked". It's a recipe for disaster once you think or know that. Why risk it, then?

About your $1k to $10k challenge, I don't know what you want to achieve with that apart from marketing. Is your intention to trade for people or sell them signals? I've seen many start this way and when they eventually make it through to the mark they come back to advertise how experts they're to trade for others. If they don't make it to the mark, they quietly go away and abandon updating their followers. It's not to talk you down. Just sharing my thought. I wish you all the best in your pursuit.
2472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prompt safe staking with good APY on: August 26, 2022, 04:48:01 AM
Good afternoon, everyone, no matter how I tried to find entertainment for myself in this market, I can’t do anything, I even started trading with leverage, etc. I lost a lot of money in such a bear market and I want to calm down a little, I heard that there are options to earn big money on bets in different liquidity pools and staking, I want to know where you can find a platform that will show the best percentages for betting and liquidity.
You came into cryptos looking at it from a gambling perspective as I can see "bets" running through your post. Trading isn't gambling. They're poles apart. Again, you didn't have to plunge straight into leverage trading as a beginner. You should've started with spot trading. It's a lot easier to grasp and you wouldn't lose anything even while your bought tokens dip until you sell. Many a long time trader even avoid leverage trading because it's the easiest way to burn one's capital if one doesn't have a handle on it. Also, instead of looking for pools to stake in why don't you look for credible assets/tokens. You ought to know the type of tokens you want to engage first before searching for what APY it offers. Don't pick a token and invest in it because it has a great APY.
2473  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: August 25, 2022, 09:33:00 AM
~snipped~
I do not agree with this, our desires are not always about being rich or wanting more things. Maybe smaller things could be understandable, like wanting a new playstation 5 is a great understandable logical stuff, it is not expensive, it is not a big deal, and it shouldn't change your life.
Well, even in wanting what you called "smaller" things like Playstation 5, your appetite is still not quenched. It's still searching for something. That's why it's said to be insatiable. It's not necessarily because what you want is expensive. After all, there was PlayStation 1, 2, to 4. Why not settle for the ones you had. Why buy a new one? BTW, that PlayStation you called smaller thing could be a huge project for someone else to buy. You know that? It's the same way those who buy Royce or Lamborghini may not think what they're spending on is a big deal.
2474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are all Hodlonaut on: August 25, 2022, 08:49:00 AM
I've been wondering what Craig Wright intends to prove if he can't sign a message from the vintage wallet that holds the >1 million BTC. Craig should just go and rest his head, except he's trying to tell us he knows the whereabouts of the real Satoshi Nakamoto. My support is to Hodlonaut. I've followed some of Hodlonaut's tweets and of a truth he deserves our collective support at a time like this.

If he would do this he would get - sooner or later - to fight somebody powerful enough and willing to defend himself.
True, but he's already going after the likes of Coinbase and Kraken for "misrepresenting bitcoin", as Lucius shared above.
He's obviously on a smear campaign. I'm still surprised Binance hasn't been tagged yet. You know what they say about a drowning soul, he will cling even at a straw for survival.

I'm always moved when I read or see someone show compassion to less privileged ones. For me, it's not just about the gifts or opportunities given to them; it's the humanity in the act that gets to me. In this era of where wickedness, bickering, arson, murder, suppression, just name them has taken the front seat in man's daily living and then someone has the heart to do good. That should be applauded. I celebrate you, my fellow country man. Your selfless service and gesture won't go unrewarded. Keep it up.
2479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 23, 2022, 08:17:52 PM
Is it advisable as a new trader to engage in future trade?
No! Don't ever go any close to it. It's as risky as that warning on the site sounds. The offer and lure of shorting it may seem tempting when you think of what profit could be made instead of sitting on your hands but don't take it. You will get burnt. There's a reason that caveat is there once you go to that Futures tab. It's so no trader would say they weren't warned ahead of time. Stick to Spot trading for starters and then gradually learn futures trading. If it's something you will want to go in, you will find out with time. It's not something anyone will jump into.
2480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We will have a trading campaign on probit global exchange! on: August 23, 2022, 02:43:25 PM
Oh, you're even shilling for Profit exchange and I just responded to another thread of yours thinking I was advising a neutral user of that exchange to be careful using their services. If you want to shill for a project, come out in the open and own it with you full chest. Don't hide beneath a mask.

You can open an announcement thread like jossiel advised... 👇

If you are part of probit, make an announcement thread on the Service Announcements (Altcoins) and post details about your trading campaign there.
