As far as I know there is no calculator for this.
But on the other hand, figuring out your profit from buying and selling coins is pretty easy. You could also just use some of the calculators for mining, but merely change the price of BTC/USD that they use (many allow you to put it whatever value you want. )

No looks like it was hacked-hacked. Read the third last post or so this page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14085.1980What is worse is Graet seemed to have borrowed a lot of coins to cover for what he thought was a config error that caused his wallet to be drained. And that was then taken as well. edit: last Graet post , that page linked edit2: website was vandalized as well, as an extra kick in the head . Feel terrible for this pool owner, seems like a genuine good guy.

I sneaked into BFL last night. Wasn't easy. They have lazers and genetically engineered attack dogs. Took a lot of work but got an actual picture of the new Mini-Rig design. It's a little, little bit off of on the power per hash predictions, and a little larger, but it is still worth at least 300 November '12 bitcoins:

Yes. I'm under the impression that the rev 2 is the currently available Windforce cooler card.. i.e this guy: http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11830BD3894My apologies if that's not the card; that's the model I have anyways. I'm not a 100% on this. It has a 8/6 pin power connector and is voltage locked unlike the earlier 6+6 pin unlocked ones.

I have both the Sapphire and the Gigabyte rv 2.
I prefer the Gigabyte card. It does 620 k/hashes for me while my Sapphire's do 580 currently.
Both are really good though. And tbh I have not really tweaked the Sapphire's to a great extent yet, so maybe they'll get over 600 without too much trouble.
I also really like the cooler design of the Gigabyte card though, because the lack of plastic on the top of the card makes them perfectly open for a fan above them, which can blow air right down through the cooling fins of the entire card.

If you think you will be mining with those video cards 24/7 it is a good investment to get a high-quality, 'gold' rated power supply. It'll save you power costs, have less likely chance of burning out, and even if you stop mining it's just great to have one of these things; it'll last you a very, very long time.

I wouldn't think weed is a significant part of Silk Road.
Weed is really easy to get for any person that does drugs. And it's not as easy to mail either .
I don't know if there are any stats available but would imagine weed is one of the least popular drugs to buy on the market. At least for Americans.
Rarer, hard to come by drugs are probably more popular on Silk Road in rates disproportionate to their general use. Stuff like rarer psychedelically, DMT, high-quality MDMA and all that other groovy stuff.

Generally, cards either run fine or don't run. When you degrade them or burnt them out, they generally stop working altogether, as opposed to just offering lower performance.

It's a free Internet. Anybody can make a coin. If the coin is retarded, or set up like a scam, it will likely fail. If it serves some purpose, it will likely find a niche and succeed. We don't need to make any moral judgements or regulations or decisions about 'how things should be', IMHO. Just let it be as it is, and however it is doing is exactly how it should be doing.
As for the 'bastards with the GPU farms', it just about scale. Dude with 1 x 7950 bought at $300 has much the same profit margin potential as the dude with X x 7950 bought at $300. It's a bit ridiculous to claim you're a more legitimate miner dude just because you have a much smaller operation.

As I have been seeing over the last month LTC is pretty much just pegged to roughly 1/50th a BTC. I don't think there is too much independent price climbing of LTC against BTC. (Though some say it could happen)...

They are also offering rewards currently if you can hack their exchange.
edit: Oh hai T.B.E . Thank you for opening your exchange. Great to see new exchanges opening up, and especially Canadian ones for myself..

I can't believe how fast the difficulty has been going up for LTC over the last month. Certainly a debbie-downer. And don't see the rate going down, nor the price of LTC going up anytime soon. ( I hope TT is correct though..) At this rate I'm gonna to have to start mining Devcoins in a couple of weeks !

This would do wonders for price stability, so hey, it would not be bad thing.
I'm having fun and making slight profits playing the exchanges, but would not mind a bit if the only way to buy in/out BTC -=> USD was through sites like localbitcoin.

I heard Portland. Not sure if it's accurate but that's what the word is down by the docks.

Everybody who reads this thread should be trying to do their part and use an alternative to mtgox.
Totally agree with the need for less monopoly by mt.gox, even with or without their history of troubles.
I'm still thinking a really good new exchange will likely open in the next 6 months as well... For the person with the right resources and know how, there is an incredible profit making venture just waiting to be setup.

Sweet app, nice work... !
Btw, are there any Freicoin exchanges though? I haven't come across this coin much. ..
