2541  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do not bet with Matthew N. Wright without an escrow on both sides on: August 22, 2012, 06:10:10 AM
He runs a business which is worth several hundred thousand dollars, and only target market resides here on the forums. I don't think he's going to accept a scammer label over a few thousand BTC.

Wisdom.
What is the basis of this valuation?  I'm not trolling, just genuinely curious.

Are you an investor? If not, I'm not legally allowed to discuss that with you. You'll have to sign and return a Statement for Certified High Net Worth Individual to legal, then Vladimir will ask you if you're serious about investing and if you say "no I just wanted to know more information about your private company", he'll probably ignore you from then on. Good luck!
2542  Economy / Gambling / Re: 100BTC bet on pirate default against RoloTonyBrownTown on: August 22, 2012, 06:03:25 AM
so your actually betting 101 btc (escrow fee included) to win 100 plus 99 btc back?

We've both bet 100.  2BTC is Theymos' fee.  The winner gets 200BTC.  The loser gets zip.

Hopefully not Zip.A. (Too soon?)

I object to this agreement on the grounds it's for pokemon cards.
2545  Economy / Gambling / Re: 100BTC bet on pirate default against RoloTonyBrownTown - Looking for escrow on: August 22, 2012, 05:47:17 AM
If I win, I'll buy everyone popcorn. If not, can I have some popcorn guys?

haha, if you don't win, you're gonna be asking Vlad to buy your beers for the next decade. ;p

oh, and @thread Test Your Might

Nah, I don't drink. Ironically, the reason is because I like to keep a clear head all the time and as in touch with reality is possible. (Did I make you laugh?  Cheesy)

2547  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 22, 2012, 05:30:40 AM
I would bet (not 250BTC because I don't have that much, but some), but I don't qualify since I have way less than 250 posts on this forum.

Since you put it that way, I'll take your bet.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 22, 2012, 05:21:26 AM
Mostly I'm just bitter I don't have enough posts to take Matthew's money.

I will privately escrow with you since you're probably an SA troll and you also need to be taught a lesson.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 22, 2012, 05:19:59 AM
Want to wager anonymously so nobody will laugh at you if you lose?
That defeats the entire point of this bet.

Want to wager more than the max (250 BTC)?
Privately this can already be done, only by trusted individuals or those using escrow though. Kind of makes what you're doing pointless.

Please don't spam in my thread, thanks.  Smiley

*shakes his head at Matthew*

*shakes his hand with sadpandatech's head*

Weird handshake you've got there. You have nothing to worry about if you're not making baseless accusations. It will all be over soon.

For those who have invested in him and think you will lose big, PM me and I will honor your bets against him as a hedge to shield your losses.

Define big. I'm thinking around 5 BTC.

5BTC is fine. Minimum of 0.1BTC

Two things. First, it seems like some fresh bullshit that RoloTonyBrownTown is goading people on to increase their bets, and thus (very likely) hurt Matthew A LOT, while having almost no skin in the game himself. People who have been bitching against pirate at least have a legitimate concern about a lot of people being scammed and having their money stolen. RoloTonyBrownTown has just been bitching at and insulting people for no real reason other than being butthurt about something or other. I wish he would put his Bitcoin where his mouth is, too, and since his mouth has been rather large on this thread, I hope he puts up a lot of Bitcoin.

And second, raise me up to 20 BTC, too please.

You guarantee your soul? Jesus Christ. That's commitment! ....unless you're a filthy scammer who has no soul.

Can we put your soul in escrow to be sure?

I realize that I'm under the minimum number of posts, but I've been around for several months and have nearly 50 posts (I know it's not that many).  If you can't take this bet, no hard feelings.  If it's accepted and quoted by MNW, I'll consider myself bound by it.
