2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: January 14, 2019, 04:26:18 PM
At the time of the listing after the end of ICO, the price often dumps. Why does it happen?
I think the reason is there is no buyer because of no demand for tokens since the ecosystem is not completed after the ICO.
It may be difficult because lack of funds, but I think the team should release a product like Dapps while running ICO to make token demand.
How do you think about it?

I totally agree, however, there's no way to stop dump once a token/coin gets listed. Some investors/ bounty hunters want quick profit especially if the price on the exchange is really favorable. Projects are aware about this that is why some tokens are locked in a certain amount of time to avoid price dump.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: January 14, 2019, 01:47:05 PM
I have heard abouty bounty campaigns and i searched and found that you have to be a member of bitcointalk and have a good rank...but i am just a newbie..are there any good bounty campaigns which are accepting newbies in their campaign

Only few bounties are accepting bounties and even if you can join the stake is too small. I think you can join social media campaign and other bounty campaigns aside from signature campaign where most of it requires a Full Member rank for you to be allowed to join.
2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who dump coins early; Bounty hunters or ICO investors? on: January 14, 2019, 12:54:25 PM
Its so sad when we have been made to believe its bounty hunters who dump their bounty tokens immediately after ICO and so devalue the coins on the market. Because of this notion, project managers these days try to delay bounty rewards while some even go ahead to give small rewards so that the actions of bounty hunters will not affect the price of their coins. Now I participated in this bounty and we were paid late as usual. We went to the market and realized the price was already down, even below the ICO price. So who caused it ? I think we should have a second look at this issue. Don't you think its the investors who get bonuses during the ICO who try to dump their bonuses for profit and not the bounty hunters as we have been made to believe?. Let me hear your opinions guys

Bounties are usually just almost from .5-5% of the total supply of a project. So, I guess, it is too small to really affect the price of a coin/token once it is distributed. I don't know why some admins or even investors are blaming or bounty hunters for the decline in price. There are a lot of investors who have a huge chunk of tokens because they bought it at early stage where discount and offers are massive.
2544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 14, 2019, 12:02:48 PM
I understand everything has not bloomed and bloomed well
But let’s endeavor to be at an alert because in crypto currency

When you are tired weak and feeble, that is when good and valuable projects pass you by
But when you are excited to work, you get only peanuts project

So work now that you are weak
Persevere and don’t burn your opportunity because of short term  comfort

It doesn't work that way, there's always one good project out there. We should just research and work harder to find those projects. The reason why some bounty hunters end up joining scam projects is because some are lazy on doing their research and end up wasting their time and effort.
2545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ICO's a good option? on: January 14, 2019, 10:52:08 AM
is it a good idea to invest in ICO's and what do you think is a good deciding factor to pick what ICO's to invest in?

It all depends on the ICO. Most ICO failed, and most are stuck in developing their project due to the bear market. There are few who were able to make a good progress on their project with their limited fund. It all depends on the team's marketing strategy and development. Also investors plays a big role on driving the price of an altcoin after it's ICO. So, it's more on team work, not just on the part of the team.
2546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Constantinople, the only ethereum hardfork on: January 14, 2019, 08:28:09 AM
We have seen some people or groups, who claim they are hardforking ETH,.
The plan of the first, NOVA, whose intention was to scam others of their hard earned money, was foiled early enough, because it was using a fake.
ETCV on the other hand was not quickly detected, but its team was anonymous, which i feel is enough to suspect them of scam.
Right now, its telegram account has changed when i checked.
It's website is suspended and so on.
They are now asking people to buy their coin, which does not exist.

Therefore, the only genuine hardfork, is the constantinople.

I have heard about it on telegram and on some group that the only ethereum hardfork is Constantinople. Even MEW's facebook account announced that they will only be supporting Constantinople hard fork, which means all the remaining hard fork is not legitimate.
2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: January 12, 2019, 05:05:10 PM
Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?

If you haven't sold anything that you have bought you haven't lost anything yet. I think you have bought cryptocurrency last bull-market, that's why you had a big loss. That's why some investors tell people not to invest in crypto out of fear of missing-out. The hype on crypto was too high last bull-market and market corrections are normal to happen after that.
2548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supporting new projects can lead to a better future. on: January 12, 2019, 04:38:35 PM
In a society that faces psychological pressure, depression and anxiety.. I think that humans should leave aside the selfishness and lower the urge to make profit out anything and start supporting projects that can increase their overall well-being. I think we all wish a better future for our children. Don't you?
Are you currently investing in any project? What's that about?

Most investors mind set in cryptocurrency is to gain profit from projects, that's why some ICOs die too soon just before they can fully develop their project. However, I believe in time, people will learn from it and crypto as we know it will not be the same where people see it as a means to earn money fast.
2549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: January 12, 2019, 04:13:22 PM
I have been reading this phrase since last year, the bear market had kept the prices down for a long-time now, and we might be sitting for another year with a bear-market. This is a great opportunity for newbies and other people to accumulate cryptocurrency since the market price is really cheap.
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to get reliable bounties on: January 12, 2019, 03:12:39 PM
I have seen a lot threads here about how to choose good bounties. It shows the challenges many of us here are going through in choosing a good bounty. If you really want to maximize  your chances of participating in bounties of successful ICOs, i will recommend Bountyhive for you. The success rate of their bounties is very high. Their social media campaign is less stressful because of the absence of weekly reports. They have a limit as to the number of participants in each campaign thereby enabling you to earn a higher income. Although there are certain drawbacks in their processes such as your inability to see your weekly earnings on their spreadsheet, in general their services are really good and i will recommend for everyone

Based on experience, you should find a reliable bounty manager because some bounty managers are irresponsible. They are not even updating spreadsheets and not updating bounty participants about the bounty. With regards to legitimacy of bounty, it's up to us bounty hunters to review bounties before joining.
2551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet supports the upcoming hard forks? on: January 09, 2019, 08:30:07 PM
MyEtherWallet only supported Constantinople, that is why I am doubtful if the other remaining hard fork is legitimate. Some are saying that this are scam forks that will just ask for your wallet and steal your ethereum. There are sources where you can find answer to this questions.
2552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency becomes the future payment system on: January 09, 2019, 07:49:03 PM
Each cryptocurrency is unique in it's own way, each has it's advantage and uses. But, most establishments are using bitcoin since it is the most trusted and famous cryptocurrency. In terms of convenience, bitcoin is also the most accessible cryptocurrency among all the cryptocurrency. So, I guess bitcoin will be widely used in the future.
2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 Shopping List on: January 09, 2019, 06:37:12 PM
I feel the market is done dropping, for the most part. It's corrected after the amazing bull run in 2017-18. A bottomed out bearish market is the best time to buy, imo. So in 2019 we should all be shopping for long hodls! I'm curious what other alts people are buying. I will be picking up ETH, ADA, XRP, WAVES, and either NEO or OMG. What will you be shopping for this year?

I do hope you are correct since we had been in a huge correction for almost a year. It's a good time to buy cheap altcoins and wait for the next bull-run. The market might not dip anymore, but we cannot expect it to happen too soon. Just buy and hold, it will all be worth it when the next bull-market commences.
2554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am just Dumping all my altcoins! on: January 09, 2019, 05:15:51 PM
Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.

It's all up to you, it's your money. No one can tell whether your action is a good decision or not. However, take note that the crypto billionaires today didn't earn a lot of money in crypto over night. They bought cheap and waited patiently for crypto to grow and gave them a lot of income. If you can't be patient, you will be missing a good opportunity.
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which alts will survive? on: January 09, 2019, 03:45:47 PM
hey all, new to this forum, was wondering which alts do people think will survive? Which ones will gain traction when this crypto winter ends? Which ones have a use that will be taken up by the mainstream? Thanks

I honestly think that only cryptocurrency that are really active in marketing, development, and aiming to deliver good product for investors and future investors will survive the market. Some hype ICOs and cryptocurrency die too soon in crypto sphere. There are over thousands of new altcoins and more and more are coming. So, the market competition is getting too tight. Developers must come up with something innovative to be able to gain investors' trust.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please recommend some Altcoins on: January 09, 2019, 02:44:03 PM
In my opinion, it's not a bad time to invest now. Some coins are really very cheap now and I believe the market will recover in the near future.
I want to invest some project such as, Tezos, Cardano, NEM, Dash, Maker, NPXS, Lisk, OmiseGO, Zilliqa, Komodo, Status, Waltonchain, Elastos.
It that a good idea to do it now? Any comments are welcome

It's actually the best time to invest since last year. The bear-market is the ideal time to get-in to cryptocurrency. If you have learned about crypto or invested out of FOMO last bull-market, you most likely would have lost a lot of money. The best time to buy the dip is during the bear market.
2557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 04, 2019, 08:38:35 PM
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you

You don't really have to, it's your money, it's your decision if you will invest or not. You should do your own research before making a decision. Investing because of FOMO will only lead you to losses. Be updated on what is the current news in crypto, and find out the reason behind why the price is decreasing or increasing.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: January 04, 2019, 06:43:26 PM
The year 2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto fans, especially those who have just tried Crypto and have not enjoyed the benefits/profit. I do not mean to be pessimistic / give up on the current conditions, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have?  will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure?  or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ?
if I, then I will try to survive, who knows because the market changes very quickly.
because I am a new person on Cryptocurrency and still want to keep learning in it  Cheesy

It's difficult to speculate what's coming this year. That is why I will just keep on hunting bounties and accumulate as much altcoin as I can. I'm hoping that this year will be different from last year. I wasn't able to earn anything last year due to the bear market. However, I have learned a lot of things last year, it is not to depend too much on crypto currency and to be patient.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is ethereum on the rise?? on: January 04, 2019, 05:38:36 PM
Ethereum is on the rise leaving other coins like ripple and bitcoin cash it recently took back it's second place on cmc.. at already at $150.. are we going to see ethereum at $200 this month??

I think it is most likely because of the upcoming hard fork that is going to happen this year on ethereum platform. That is why some people are starting to buy some ethereum to take advantage of the free coin that they can receive during the hard fork.
2560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: January 04, 2019, 04:37:23 PM
Etherum is having a very bad situation now. Nearly 50 percent reduction only occurs in a few weeks. Of course this is a very difficult thing for anyone who suffers from Etherum. This is a direct loss, but when we can think more openly, we must know that the price of Etherum is very likely to increase. The quality of Etherum has been recognized by everyone and therefore Etherum has gained a very good level of public trust.
So it's not impossible that the price of Etherum will increase again.

I think ethereum will have a blast this year since there are a lot of hard work that will occur just on the beginning of the year. Let's hope that the bloody market will stop soon, since we had a bad year last 2018.  Ethereum price had recovered a lot compared to the last quarter price last year.
