2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin(s) would you buy now? on: December 23, 2021, 11:12:34 PM
I would actually go with something like XMR.

I think that monero has been severely overlooked and the importance of privacy during these times should be more apparent than it is.

ZEC as well if you want to hold a hedge in case XMR dips, but ZEC is more centralized.

It seems that people are quite hesitant to touch privacy coins for long-term investment because we don't know if the government will be strict on them.
So if you are a holder of XMR or ZEC, and you are in a country where crypto is not very much likable, I don't think you will opt for XMR.
Anyway, BTC, ETH and BNB are leading the poll, which is justifiable for me as they are the top alts and have concrete position in this market.
A lot here are suggesting what they are holding, but we know that most of them will die down along the road.
2562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Issues. on: December 23, 2021, 10:34:46 PM
If you can't accept losses then don't trade, that's what I often instill in myself. It doesn't mean that I trade to get a loss, but a loss in trading is a risk and we must be able to accept that risk and make it a lesson for the future. if we give up only on one failure or loss in trading then it is a big mistake. We are here to rise and also strive to be better. My advice is to start trading with a small capital first so that we can learn from it and add more capital if it is deemed sufficient knowledge and skill.

I believe no trader up until now doesn't experience loss at all.
Because at some point, even an expert trader will make a mistake and suffer loss.
But if you will use that lesson from your loss, you will improve your trading skills.
It will take time and effort to learn those tips and tricks.
This is not an overnight endeavor to accomplish in life.
This is the same also with stock trading, you can't get the full grasp at one run.
2563  Economy / Gambling / Re: Minesweeper.Games | The Best Bitcoin Minesweeper | No KYC on: December 23, 2021, 09:10:22 PM
You need to have a big warning sign stating that save your login hash before signing out.
Because if the player mistakenly log out without saving his hash, he won't get back again and his funds is considered lost.
So maybe, you should have that warning sign before the signing up button to remind players.
Unless, you have other ways how to recover the account of that player without the login hash.
2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: December 22, 2021, 11:58:05 PM
I believe this is because most of them are young and smart. Smart enough to understand the idea behind Bitcoin, smart enough to know how to operate it too. Unlike these older rich men who because they don't understand how Bitcoin works(or how to operate) have lost interest and are always discouraging others.

Yes, usually old people who have wealth will choose a business path that is more certain and does not have a very big risk. In general, older people are very afraid of trading cryptocurrencies because their prices are very unstable.
Now many young people are trading crypto because they think that cryptocurrency trading can bring wealth in the near future and young people are now more aware of today's technology such as computers and mobile phones.

Younger generation are more open to high-risk investments, so to speak.
Also, when it comes to crypto, it comes very handy to these millennials as a lot are glued to their gadgets.
So for them, it is easier to get on board in crypto rather than breaking their neck understanding the economics of certain business.
And as we are in digital era, most of these younger people are oriented to do their activities online, in which, they can easily encounter crypto market.
All the info that they want, can now be reach if they know how to get around the net.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar? Jack: Yes, Bitcoin will on: December 22, 2021, 11:20:00 PM
There will be always idea and opinion about that. But  seeing the condition right now or some years later, maybe 20 years later, this may not happen. I mean that bank systems will never let something pass them, won't they? I agree with some member statement above that bank is complex structures from the world. And everyone or all parties of banks will always make certain development and regulation to make fiat still the first choice of currency. Moreover dollars with its great position. Dollar and other fiats are controlled by world bank and also government. So, they will never let crypto pass or replace them. That is difficult to be done.

I like the optimism about the crypto adoption, but I do agree with you here.
Fiat system will remain to be the main financial system that people will use.
Even if crypto adoption will increase thru the years, the traditional banking system will remain.
They may also go digital as a lot of them are already are, but crypto will only be secondary to fiat system.
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: December 22, 2021, 10:24:31 PM
I personally don't think that the hype will live on.

We see a lot of avatar projects already falling to the ground in terms of floor prices, with a lot of major projects following suit.

There will probably be a new wave of projects that will overtake everything that has been done so far, and drain the valuation from them.

I believe on the contrary. Why? Because this NFT industry is just in the beginning stage of adoption.
The good thing here is that this is not for crypto users only.
As we have seen, NFT collectibles from popular personalities, artists, singers and other known individuals are hitting in the market.
So it is just a start as other artists will follow thru, they are seeing that this is another way to connect to their fans.
And since we are already in the digital age, a lot of these artists will find this NFT industry to be very useful in their career, connecting with their fans in particular.
2567  Economy / Economics / Re: I think most people still trust the USD more than Bitcoin on: December 21, 2021, 11:44:32 PM
Given that fiat is still what is required for taxes it obviously has more fundamental demand then crypto.  Until the US Government starts allowing people to pay their taxes with Bitcoin, it will remain with that advantage.  There is also a lot of business that happens out there and change is slow.  Taxes may be the extreme example, but think of everything you need to buy to survive.  How much of that can you truly buy without fiat?  I'm not talking spending Bitcoin on gift cards or using a Bitcoin backed credit card, but actual Bitcoin accepted by vendors.  We have a long way to go still.  Some countries have shown there's still hope, but it'll be an uphill battle for likely a couple generations before Bitcoin could surpass fiat and particularly the dollar in trust.

This kind of adoption is yet to be seen in crypto market.
As of right now, we still need to convert our crypto to fiat, in order to pay merchants.
Very few in our surrounding area are directly accepting crypto particularly bitcoin.
But during this pandemic, I believe a lot of merchants or shops are looking into bitcoin as their alternative payment method as the world is going into digital era.
So we can't really expect that the large percentage of population will be into bitcoin.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]DEXBERRY: A Cross-Chain, Multi-Use Decentralized Mega-App on: December 21, 2021, 10:59:56 PM
Hi Doge, Thanks for stopping by. We are projecting 10% of the total supply which is about $125 Million. The plan involves a lot of areas and bundles which include paid adverts, influencer marketing etc.

As mentioned above, there are many similar platforms already that are trying to compete in your chosen field.
Do you have investors or dev funds that can push thru your developments without the need of any crowdsourcing?
Because the usual problem is that most projects are relying on public sale.
And once they can't get their financial targets, the project is either abandoned or with very slow progress of achieving their objectives.
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have been scammed in pancackeswap telegram group on: December 21, 2021, 09:58:46 PM

They are actually reputable but the problem is that you have been tricked by someone who is not a part of the company, you've missed it out and clicked the pishing site leading to such a scam.

Lesson #1:  Don't easily click the link from an unknown person especially when asking for any information in regards to wallet access/keys.
Lesson #2: Don't easily trust people online especially if coming from a telegram group (unless if you know them) as there are many scammers around us.
Lesson #3: Only use and contact their support group when there is a problem/concern with your transactions.

Most newbies or even long timers will learn their lesson the hard way. And usually, it is already too late before they realize that someone who contacted them is not the official rep of the site.
I have experienced that a lot of times, though in different crypto exchange.
If you try to post in their official telegram group about your issue, someone will immediately contact you.
And the problem is, they are usually in disguise using the username of the exchange account or using the official logo.
Try to validate first if they are indeed part of the official admin group, check their official accounts and compare the username of that person.
Sometimes they are good in disguising if you don't verify their identities. And once you found out that they are fake accounts, one thing they do is delete their account.
That is based from my experience. So high likely that the OP was contacted by fake official account of pancakeswap and he fell for it.
2570  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 20, 2021, 09:44:34 PM
Don't bend to societal pressure of over spending during this festive season, make serious plans for the celebrations and the coming year, Don't fall into the trap or bend to the pressure of selling off a percentage of your cryptos to  spend this festive season, a new year is coming.
Someone jokingly said why would anyone even want to spend at Xmas season when Jesus, the supposed  celebrant, hasn't invited anyone to any party. Despite the fact that it came off as a joke, it's a fact. More so, I think those who indulge in unnecessary spending for Xmas or any other festivities are being childish. Every adult, who is adult, should know that every year there's always a Xmas on the calendar. Xmas celebration is unending till the end of time. My advice to any one out there is to be sensible in their expenses.

Made sense, but not everyone has the same views and thoughts because most of these people celebrating as part of their culture and beliefs. So, we cannot say that it's not an adult thing for having a feastive Chirstmas celebration. It's the culture and we gotta respect that.
However, It's also correct that we need to be responsible for our spendings.
So, either way there's definitely no wrong or right.

But with the seemingly next wave of covid variant, I think people are already preparing for the possible worst case scenario again.
With what we have been thru in the past couple of years, I have the feeling that a lot of us become wiser and smarter when it comes to spending habits.
Though some will celebrate because that's part of their tradition but high likely that a lot of the population will be saving for another rainy days to come.
We are still in this pandemic era where a lot of people haven't recovered yet from the first wave of covid effect.
So even without the advise, I believe, people know what to do already. Particularly those who had difficult life during covid crisis.
2571  Economy / Gambling / Re: BestBitcoinCasino.com : The premium source for crypto and fiat online gambling on: December 20, 2021, 09:18:50 PM
Found great e-sports bookmaker at your site https://www.bestbitcoincasino.com/review/arcanebet-casino/  , So far I can recommend your site, however I would welcome more news to have always a new read, when checking operator' review at your site.
How do you make people believe if you actually pay the winning players on your site? Especially if someone wins big, are you going to pay for it?

Are you asking this question towards bestbitcoincasino? Have you checked their site first?
This is a review site of casinos, online crypto/fiat casinos.
So they have nothing to do with the payment for small or big rollers, it depends on the casino you are playing.
Take a look again and check if your question is appropriate.

But honestly, this review site is one of the review sites that has big number of casinos reviewed.
I hope they will update their review from time to time, because some may be already outdated.
2572  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbroker365.com | Online Brokerage for Sportsbook, Casino and Poker on: December 20, 2021, 08:41:45 PM
The betbroker should be active here now that they are offering some kind of promotion for forum members.
They only registered this site last year, so don't know if their claim of one of the most trusted betting brokers on the market is true.
Also, checked the trustpilot, there's no review yet. Now, wondering how many people are actually using their services?
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 20, 2021, 08:04:59 PM
Magsayo needs to plan every strategy that he will use against Russell. A defensive fighter is the hard one to take down
it will take a lot of preparations for Magsayo.

He should seek some advice from Donaire, Magsayo sometimes does not conserve his energy, he loves to throw punches that are not accurate as he is thinking that he could  KO someone who hits him without knowing his defense gets open. This is a title fight, a one time opportunity for some, so he has to carefully plan how to win this fight as it's a big-ticket to his future success.

Though Donaire and Magsayo are carrying the Philippine flag, they have different promoters.
Don't know if they are close enough for Magsayo to ask advise from Donaire.
If Magsayo is under MP Promotions, he is already in good hands but the work will still be coming from his end.
And Russell as a defensive fighter, that would really make a difficult fight as you really need strategy on how to connect with him.
This is a make or break for Magsayo, so he should not take this fight lightly.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 20, 2021, 06:43:30 PM
I know all these fights are kind of just a joke and an insult to professional boxers but that night night punch was brutal from Paul.  I don't watch any of these fights as they are just sloppy and boring to watch honestly.  I had to watch that replay and man that was a solid hit.  With that being said this won't help these fights end.

You have a point on that, I thought Tyron will beat Jake Paul this time.
But with that one solid punch and made Tyron KO in cold, that was the winning moment for Paul.
Well, I guess, Paul will get more exhibition fights now that a lot of professional boxing fights are getting cancelled again.
Would be nice if he will challenge the current top boxer in his weight division, and fight professionally.
But it seems another exhibition match is brewing - names like Tommy Fury, Nate Diaz or Mike Tyson are popping up...
2575  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲ETTA Games🚀 | ettagames.io | Provably Fair | Dice Games | Free Faucet on: December 20, 2021, 05:35:37 PM
What do you mean by ETTA is back? Did your casino already exist before and you are re-launching it now? If that is the case, could you say why the casino was closed, coming back online now?

Thanks.

I was curious also when they said ETTA is back.
So I checked when was their registration date for this site (it was in 2017).

https://www.whois.com/whois/ettagames.io

So maybe, they had no thread before in the forum.
And they just revived this site. Because crypto is doing good in the market.

Quote
The minimum withdraw amount is 0.0025BTC / 0.05ETH.

I'm very interested about this, it means that someone who won 1 bitcoin took more than 5 days to withdraw their all winnings, Is there no other alternative to withdraw directly in large quantities or is the owner deliberately maintaining the balance of funds on the gambling site?

It says minimum withdrawal amount, so you can withdraw higher than that amount (i.e. higher than 250k sats).
2576  Economy / Gambling / Re: ETC.casino ❤ 1500+ games | Bonus on every deposit | Cashback | No KYC | 13 Coins on: December 20, 2021, 01:37:19 PM
Will there be any Christmas tournament aside from the New Year Tournament?
I think, the ETC team can also hold another contest in this upcoming holiday, other than this New Year.
Because if you look at the latest bets stats, not many players are actively playing.
Also, if they can run their campaign or promotional activity as suggested, that is, if they want more interest from the players here.
2577  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesia's 0% Tax on foreigners and digital nomads on: December 20, 2021, 11:28:41 AM
Seems like Indonesia just found a way to attract "the money" into their country. Not yet sure what this entails but I suspect Crypto users may still get taxed. What Indonesia needs to do now is upgrade their Internet infrastructure so that digital nomads and crypto traders can settle there.
care to put some links ? where did you get that idea ? if there is one then best to Put it here.

and about taxation in cryptocurrency users? Indonesia is still has no concrete law towards or against crypto so it will always Imply that Crypto users are not exempted on this law(if it is true)

Interesting for foreigners, I'm not happy to hear this, because local people still have difficulty getting income. So that more and more foreigners will come to stay and work, the more competition will be tightened.
Lol foreigners will Work? maybe you mean conduct Business and that is favoring people in your place because there will be more employment that will be available .

I found links that you can check and watch -

YT - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQWQRpZFvYg
[NEW 0% Tax in Bali-Indonesia for Digital Nomads & Foreigners] - I believe the OP got the idea from this video.

But you can also read this article -
https://thinkremote.com/bali-5-year-visa-for-digital-nomads/

This will indeed attract more tourists, and it means, it will be good for their economy.
As this country has low cost of living, this will be another attraction from foreigners who want to live a laid back lifestyle.
Enjoying their life while not being stressed with high cost of living as well as high taxes.
2578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: December 19, 2021, 11:58:41 PM
Technology moves with time and it so happens that cryptocurrencies fall under this bracket of technology which has attracted many young investors as its easy to get into without much fuss, paper work and relatable to the millennials. Unlike gold which is not much of their liking, crypto is the new digital gold which has got their approval  Grin

And to see what's going on with millionaire millennials, the article below stated that 83% of them own crypto.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/new-survey-reveals-83-of-millennial-millionaires-now-own-crypto

It means, this younger generation has no qualms about getting themselves into crypto investments.
And I believe, even these millennials with smaller funds, are also into crypto, they will try to get a hold of some crypto assets.
They are not afraid to take a risk and they are open to this kind of technological advancement.
Remember, most of younger gen have their own gadgets that they can easily tap what they want to know.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: December 19, 2021, 11:45:28 PM
Hello, Can anybody appear me a list of a few coins with a great potential just like the Ethereum? Thank you.

Let's be clear about this, POTENTIAL and not to hope they will become the same as Ethereum.
To list my own judgment that might have that POTENTIAL;

BNB
POLYGON
KAI

These coins are resolving issues about fees. I also like WAVES but they are seemingly not attractive to other investors that's why its price is just swinging in a specific price range for a long now.

Include also SOL, DOT in your list. But Waves, I don't think so.
Waves has been in this market long enough to show their potential but up until now, projects under their network are not doing good.
But these new emerging networks have  a lot to catch up because ETH already achieved a lot in this market.
Their dev team is quite solid why a lot are still trusting ETH even if their gas fees are quite expensive.
So people are hoping that one day ETH team will finally address this gas issues.
2580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🟢[NFT]🟢🔥🔥🔥 NOSY BLOBS- THE FIRST DEFLATIONARY NFT COLLECTION 🔥🔥🔥 on: December 19, 2021, 11:27:59 PM
As i have look all over i didn't find any price or anything like this. What is the price for a single Nosy Blobs? and is there any chart for all of them?
Thanks for your interest on NOSYBLOBS, The price will be announced a few days before the minting start. Please join our Discord to get yourself regularly updated. https://discord.gg/nosyblobs

Would it be better if you post updates here or in your other social media channel not only discord because a lot of users are not discord users?
Anyway, as you said this is the first SOL-based deflationary NFT token.
SOL is emerging network and is gaining popularity already.
But being deflationary is not an assurance anymore to increase the value of your token.
It depends on the actual usage and if users will indeed go to your platform.
Do you think you have the edge among these NFT-related projects?
