1721  Economy / Economics / Re: Crude Oil drops below $100 on: August 14, 2022, 11:54:26 PM
This is unique when a conflict occurs but the price of tuuru oil is below $ 100, hopefully this can reduce the burden of inflation that occurs a lot in the country and make the economy recover soon, the presence of electric vehicles can certainly be a good solution to reduce oil consumption so that oil needs are not too significant.

I have seen the rollback in fuel in my area, which is a good thing to all vehicle owners as well as commuters.
In my area alone, the use of electric bicycles are becoming rampant also, which I believe is a good thing.
No pollution coming out from bicycles and pretty cheap even if you charge it as compared to the per liter of gasoline consumption.
We need to find alternatives also so as not to rely from the crude oil coming from Russia.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: August 14, 2022, 11:11:49 PM

The fight is really impressive, even though I put bets on Campa (that is taking advantage of the huge odds difference between the two),  I don't mind losing because the fight is really good.  Lopez's performance has brought him back to the game.  I think he will be calling title fights now since he really performs well and his performance is the talk of the news and social media.  Hopefully we can see a title fight before the year-end.
Quote
"We want Josh Taylor," Lopez said. "We want these guys. We want (Regis) Prograis. We want (Jose) Zepeda. We want all the belts. We want to become two-time undisputed champion."

The bookies are right this time around because the odds for Lopez here was really low.
So Lopez should strike while the iron is hot and look for belt to snatch on next.
Maybe, another fight this year or before the year ends and let us see which belt he is eyeing next.
He had been thru a lot, and now he took over the fight fair and square.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your General Feeling After Playing In Casino In the last 10 session on: August 14, 2022, 10:42:43 PM
After the last 10 sessions ? Not sure it’s been any different than the last 10 sessions before that or the 10 sessions before those 10 sessions, to me I honestly pretty much keep an even keel when it comes to gambling and my emotions. I never bet much more or much less so regardless win or lose I tend to stay pretty even in terms of emotions during “10 session gambling blocks”.

I guess, we have the same sentiments when it comes to this kind of feeling.
The emotion doesn't vary much as I play within my means.
Of course, the feeling of entertained, disappointed and others will always be there.
But in general, nothing much of a difference in all of my sessions of gambling.
But based from the poll, most are saying that they feel entertained, I hope that's true though.  Wink
1724  Other / Archival / Re: 💎 Cryptolottery.BET 💎 A winner every 5 minutes [BTC lotteries] on: August 14, 2022, 10:12:01 PM
As much as I love trying new things, I found your website lacking in basic information and instructions for smooth gameplay. Of course, we all know what the lottery means, but I think you should explain the mechanics of the game better if you want to attract new players. See how dothebeats explains it here. Why can't it be explained in the same way on Cryptolottery.BET?

Last but not least, how the raffle works? I mean how the site draw the winner? Is it using provably fair system or not?
Raffle game should be completely fair IMO and every result should be verifiable to assure players that there is no cheat in the game.

I completely agree. We shouldn't even consider this if it is not provably fair. Too many scams out there.

The team should listen to valid suggestions from the users here.
This is to improve their services and maybe, some of the players will start playing on this site.
Provably fairness is always an important aspect to determine if the site is credible or not.
In time, maybe, this site will continue to evolve and improve their services. Let us see.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying house with fake tokens on: August 13, 2022, 11:27:37 PM
Is this a real scenario?

Why would someone would love to receive a token that's not even known and popular. Usually, when there are trades and deals like this, it's either bitcoin, ethereum, bnb or any stable coins are the ones that's being accepted.

But why would someone accepted a token that's not really being used and turned out to be a fake one? There are too many questions on this. If he's able to accept a fake token, then the victim isn't really keen on accepting crypto as payment.

And he/she shouldn't have accepted it. What's the token?

It is the responsibility of the owner to know the value of the token itself.
However, we don't know the whole story here as the token may have value at the time of payment.
Remember, most pump and dump tokens, and if they happen to receive at the time of pumping period.
And some of these owners don't know that the token can easily lose their value once this period is over.
So if you are an owner and wanted to receive crypto payment, better stick to BTC, ETH or BNB.
At least you have to chance to convert it to your fiat, but with tokens, they can easily go worthless.
1726  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 13, 2022, 10:55:57 PM
So far none of the 1xbit campaigners dropped here to answer all these questions the questions are specifically for them to answer, they don't want to be put in the spotlight, they just want to post and do not want to get into a discussion about 1XBIT because they know that they have a lost cause, it's hard to defend something that is notorious on doing something, but I still like to see at least one participant dropping here to post and answer some of the questions there.

I believe you can't expect to read the truth in case they will respond on these questions.
They can easily say yes, and make good reasons why, as we have different experiences in every casino.
But with the reputation of 1xbit, I believe they are also worried about the possible non payment if in case they will win big.
So in case they are playing on this site, I am thinking that they are playing small and cautious with how they play.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin so volatile?  on: August 12, 2022, 11:55:20 PM
What are your opinions about it? I read this article recently about https://moneyinvestors.net/cryptocurrencies/why-is-bitcoin-so-volatile-4-fundamental-reasons/ do you agree with these 4 fundamental reasons?

At least when making a post, you should outline your points first even before going ahead to put your reference link. Not everyone has the energy to go over your link reading all that.
From the  article, the four fundamental reason were;
 1: lack of regulation
2: magic of supply and demand
3: a technology still in evolution
 4: world conflict

From the first point, there are other volatile regulated  crypto not only Bitcoin. To make an investment you must understand the risk and agree to it.
Point two, the demand of Bitcoin is already high so I agree to point four, world conflict can cause entire market volatility not only Bitcoin, example was during the COVID-19 pandemic the crypto market was really bad.

Those are basic reasons about the volatility factor in crypto.
Up until now, crypto market is still in the speculative form of market.
Hence, many users are being attracted into this market for the purpose of possible high profits.
Also, there may be other factors influencing this market, but most of the time, it is the combination of those factors why we are seeing the price movement.
1728  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: August 12, 2022, 11:09:58 PM

Covid really sucked, Two words for Covid are Covid Sucked. Rwally impact of Covid was hot, after coivid I'm Bullish about everything inflation, Prediction. So you right After Covid its the fresh air for everything, Crypto, Stocks and Even Gambling. Favts really changed for the Gambling.
Yes . You are right, because the Covid period was actually a big blow to the gambling industry and the world at large, of which till now most people prefer online gambling compared to the physical casino gambling that was more preferable before the Covid19 pendemic, But despite all that, it can't stop gambling, because gambling has become a way of life for most people who derives joy from it as a way of spending quality time.

Also, covid 19  makes online gambling platforms more popular because in my country before covid online casinos or any site did not much paying attention to gamblers it because they preferred to gamble in casinos but when covid came across the world a big impact teach the gamblers to gamble in online casino/sites. Also even the bad impact of covid there's still we as a gambler we can gamble anywhere through online.
This is something that happened to many businesses and not only to the gambling industry, since people had to go through the lockdowns they needed a way to get what they wanted while at the same time remain at their homes, so a lot of businesses online went through a boom, however the businesses that saw the biggest growth were the ones that allowed you to somehow forget about what was happening, so the gambling and the video game industry saw a huge increase since people were desperate to get any entertainment while they were at their homes.

Indeed! We can't deny the fact that there are some businesses which really found their boost during this pandemic crisis.
Online gambling industry is one of them, and so the increase of online gambling users.
If we noticed and observed, in this forum alone, there are several known casinos today that were introduced during the height of covid pandemic.
I also think some of these traditional casino goers found a way in in these online crypto casinos.
1729  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: August 11, 2022, 11:59:39 PM
Technology is the engine of an online casino or gambling site. If your technology is old-fashioned, a platform will not work well. Just think of the interaction between the odds you see to bet on and the bet slip. If you use bad technology, problems and errors will undoubtedly arise. The consequence is that users notice this and they will not come back. Users today have a lot of choice to gamble and they want a good and stable platform and that includes good software. A lot has changed over the years in terms of software with Igaming.

And you will know this aspect as you try them first-hand.
The reviews and other feedbacks will be helpful, but your actual experience is the best to know the performance of the site.
Because each player has their own assessment when it comes to their games.
You can start checking those casinos that are reputable and known to players.
If you are not happy or satisfied, you can always try another one. No one is obliging you to just play in one site, right?
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 11, 2022, 11:40:32 PM
it will be healthier for those who strictly follow their roadmap. I saw many of them stalled due to market conditions so the delay brought the roadmap to a halt and the community faded away. I understand being in a negative market will definitely have an impact on public sales and launch prices but I think it will break even with the trust from the community for a project that always follows the roadmap on time.
Strictly following the roadmap is something everyone wants, but as you say, it is difficult or even impossible because there will be so many impacts that we cannot foresee. The delay is there, we can sympathize with them as long as they always update and give regular reports to investors instead of delay and silence.

Usually the delay is coming from the lack of funds or having insufficient funds.
So most projects can't move forward if they have no funds to begin with.
They have very good concept but if they can't secure funding, that's when they won't follow their roadmap.
This is why it is better to tap private investors if you do have promising concept. Don't rely from public sale.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: August 11, 2022, 11:04:11 PM
What's there to discuss? One bitcoin is one bitcoin.

If you gamble with fiat money and use bitcoin just to avoid government bans or reach sites that aren't available with fiat, price won't matter to you. You always cash out your BTC earnings and turn them into fiat when you're done and you buy it with fiat every time you go to a casino - you're unaffected.

If you're a bitcoin holder who wants to spend some of your stash in a casino, you'll also be unaffected because if bitcoin is worth half of what it used to be, you can bet twice more, keeping the bet at the same level as it used to be in fiat terms. If you bet $10 in BTC and double it, you'll have $20 in Bitcoin. It's that simple.
Fact!

You would really be still converting from fiat to btc and btc to fiat and this is where people do really usually do in the end of the day thats why i dont see a point on why making out some argumentation if market dumps

do really give out some impact on gamblers.Come to think that they are playing and they are willing to lose money and they wont really be minding on what the market condition would be.

Dumps are common and if you are really that mindful about investment then you wouldnt really be minding about that matter.

Just think that we have experienced countless dumps in this market, and yet, the gambling business is still alive and surviving.
It is actually one of the businesses that continues to survive despite of the various crises that we have encountered throughout the years.
So these dumps, are not to be worried when it comes to gambling, gamblers will always find their way in into this industry.
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 WINZ.IO 🚀 WELCOME BONUS: 300 FREE SPINS 🎁 $50K MINING ADVENTURE ⛰️ on: August 11, 2022, 10:15:12 PM
If anyone is looking to take advantage of the 300 free spins welcome offer just know that there exists a 1x deposit wagering requirement before you can withdraw your deposit. So if anyone is thinking about deopsiting, playing the freespins then cashout just know that you can't do that.

I would also like to add that I got my withdrawal processed almost instantly after completing the deposit wagering requirement. No documents were requested.

Maybe, your withdrawal is not that big that will require KYC from your end.
So if you win big in this site or has withdrawal of quite a big amount, be ready for the submission of KYC details.
It depends on the player's status also. Since they have KYC in place, just be prepared to submit it at any point of your betting here.
Also, checking the conditions attached to certain bonuses should always be done by the player.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: August 10, 2022, 11:30:22 PM
I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?

If bounty participants get paid with the coins or tokens they develop, there is a high or zero price possibility. But if they pay with stablecoins, the value is definite but low. It's hard to know which project will go well and the price can increase once we hold it for a long time. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I think do your job, and follow most of the projects, and one of them will succeed and make you rich.
its depend on our own decision in which part we will join. Bounty with token payment will make us rich but it will not make us poor , maybe we only spend useless time and energy when it become failed. Meanwhile in stable coins , it give us certain certainity on how much money we will accept for this work. No possibility we will get huge reward someday.

As we have seen in the bounty section, very rare that you can see a project that really did get their value in the market.
This is why, most of the time, the bounty hunters are just wasting their time and resources.
But if you are willing to take a risk when it comes to bounty program, better dig the background of the project itself.
Assess if the project has the possibility to take off and they have funds to push thru the project.
Most bounty projects are failed because they have no sufficient funds to move forward.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 10, 2022, 10:52:52 PM
Its good to know that there's a rematch because this is the chance for Ancajas to regain the world title again. In their last fight, Ancajas is lacking of defense and power punches, it seems like he's not in good condition or should I say not prepared at that time. Well, I hope he will redeem himself because he is just starting to establish his name and not yet had a strong opponent aside from Martinez.

He really needs to put his heart and be motivated to get back what he had lost in their last fight to gain back the momentum of his life to push his dream to become a legendary boxer like Manny Pacquiao. Anyway, this is really a big fight for him and I'm sure he trained a lot to get ready for this fight and we might gonna see a different version of him, stronger and have some good strategy on how to beat Martinez, hope that it will work for him.
Martinez was the stronger fighter on their first fight, you can tell  that Ancajas has loss his stamina in the later rounds, reason why he cannot keep up with the challenger. Bouncing back after a big loss is possible, he should also look for a KO, that way it will give him an impressive win.

The excuse that Ancajas gave is that he experience some cramps early and that's why he seems to be out shape and others see him losing his stamina in the later round.

I'm not expert in sports medicine, but the first thing we learn is that if we feeling cramps in legs then we might think that he did over train and put strain on his legs or he is dehydrated due to losing a lot of weight to make the cut. Hopefully his team will fix it so that he can recover and get back his title.

Whatever the reason is, that will not excuse him to get away from that defeat he got in their first encounter and it might be just good for Ancajas if he will just admit that he didn't expect Martinez to be that good that's why he lost the fight and it's somehow clear that his stamina is not keeping up in the late rounds too. Maybe this time they can score a win and bring back the championship belt to the Philippines.

Yes, what he can do now is strategize how to get the belt and no more excuses.
As he already experienced Martinez inside the ring, he should know how to counter-attack the next time around.
However, remember that Martinez' camp is also doing their training and thinking of strategies.
So they really need to prepare and study all the possible angles, because once inside the ring, we will know if he is indeed prepared for this.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Myths that we often hear on: August 09, 2022, 11:43:05 PM
Ignore myths about gambling, it is a dangerous road for money, enjoyment, and your health. The fact that these myths still exist and are being spread proves once again that we do not realize how susceptible our brains are to over-shifting patterns. Yes, you can win if you play long enough, but is it worth it? Is it a sound financial decision? It is always wise to understand how things work, remember the fundamentals and avoid easy shortcuts. Remember, there is truly no such thing as a guaranteed win, on the Internet or offline.

If you happen to go into gambling, you should know the possible repercussions of this habit.
But if you are just an occasional gambler, where you only gamble if you have extra funds and if you want to bet on particular sports,
that's fine. Those myths don't matter to you because you are only here for your short-term targets.
But once you get too deep in this industry, that's when you will start encountering troubles.
Not only your financial, but emotional or your mental health.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: August 09, 2022, 11:09:42 PM
First, you have to search for in-demand freelance jobs and choose skills that you think you can handle and enjoy. You must acquire an in demand skills so your effort of studying won't be wasted. You should also make sure that you like what you're doing because if not, you'll only see toxicity and stress. Also, you have to search for high-paying jobs that would fit your skills so you'll be able to earn not just experience but also a better salary.
First is knowing what your interest at because if you have an interest in drawing but the in-demand jobs are different, you won't still apply for it but you are lucky if your interest is also what is on the demand right now. Learning a new skill is possible and it's better to learn different or lots of it because not all times the in-demand jobs can remain but they can also be replace by another job.

Now that you that have different skills already, you are now prepared for these things to happen so won't worry anymore. It's hard to apply for a company which offers a better salary because they are getting so many applicants. For this you also need a luck.

Much better if you can focus first on your skills or passion, and look for its demand on the market.
Because you can be a competitive candidate if you already have the skills.
Look around first in your immediate area about the demand of your profession.
Sometimes you just need to look around to look for potential jobs.
1737  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 08, 2022, 08:45:18 PM
I would prefer to be an entreprenuer rather than being an employee. If you're a real entreprenuer, you will not just give up easily just because your sales went down. Though it really became more difficult to manage a business because of inflstion rate, there are still some ways for a business to surivive. There are some people I know that closed their business establishment because of the pandemic but became more popular and earmed more profit when they promote their product on social media.

Being an employee is only good if your salary increases over the years because of your expertise in that particular field.

It depends on the capability of the person himself. Some are just happy being an employee.
But if you have other goals in life, and you have passion to set-up your own business, why not?
You own your time and you are working for yourself. You can't easily give up because that's your business itself.
In every business, there are ups and downs, so you should not give up easily if you want to survive.
Later on, you will thank yourself for not backing down. At the end of the day, just follow what your heart desires.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone traded aBTC or is it a scam? on: August 08, 2022, 08:01:37 PM
1st time I am hearing about this token. And the liquidity is only 8 BNB, is it reliable? Where the token value is $40k.
If you get it from airdrop, I recommend selling. I've seen some tokens don't allow contract transactions, I'm not sure if this is one of these.

Sell it fast while you can. This type of token trying to use the name of btc will not survive long.
Even known forked BTCs are slowly losing their market value because there is no reason for them to exist.
And now, an unheard project attaching btc to its name, high likely that it is a scam or crap project.
If you have via airdrop, better sell and never look back. You will understand later on.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 08, 2022, 07:09:31 PM
Nicki & James in El Salvador 🇸🇻 (@njelsalvador)
I used to follow this Twitter profile which belongs to a couple who have moved to El Salvador after the bitcoin adoption and they find it good. This makes me believe cryptocurrency has changed the business all around and this has attracted more people which is also a true statement. So, El Salvador claiming that it made good progress in the tourism sector out of Bitcoin adoption is true.

We can put it this way, bitcoin being legal tender in El Salvador has good impact with their tourism industry.
It may not be the ultimate driving force for some tourists, but definitely, it gives reason to some tourists to check out this country.
So in any case, bitcoin has some influence with the progress of their tourism sector, which is actually good.
Great to see the positive impact of bitcoin in this country, it will be a good example for some countries to follow their path.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 08, 2022, 05:23:15 PM
How do you consider Poker a skill based game and not a luck based game ?
Poker hands are completely luck based as you have no control over it. However, there is a little element of thinking and decision making, due to which some people consider it skill based.

Saying poker was completely "luck-based" seems not appropriate.

If everything here is just about luck, then there should be no such thing as "professional" poker players. Some poker players are called professional in the first place because they can able to think of various strategies to use in different situations regardless of how good or bad their card is. There are even bad cards that can turn the table and that's because of good skills.

Back to the topic, if these popular casino games like poker are now considered sports by some countries, then it means it's getting more appreciation. Aside from that, the fact that it was considered sports means it meets the criteria of becoming as a sport or becomes eligible to be considered by that.
Yup, you cannot categorize Poker as completely as a Luck-Based games rather it is a combination of skill and luck as the cards that you'll be receiving is the real deciding factor whether you win or not.

Professional poker players are there as they are able to turn things the other way either they a bad card or a good card. However, they still lose once they encounter someone who has an incredible card which is purely based on luck.

I can also say that poker is not based completely on luck.
As we have seen, these poker players have certain skills that they can win not just because of luck but with their skills.
But these skills are acquired throughout the years of playing this game.
This is why some of the top professional poker players are really doing good in this game and making this game as their source of living.
