1761  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multidice.io | The multi-currency dice game | 35+ cryptos on: August 01, 2022, 05:31:10 PM
Thanks for all the feedback and positive comments.

The public sale of the ICO starts on September 5th.

Meanwhile, we are going to make improvements on our ICO page, publish the whitepaper and add more bounties and higher rewards.
I will wait for the whitepaper to be released read more about using your token for a multidice site, I hope it will be different from other sites, the governance and benefits of the token that you will launch must have detailed information

I will wait and see

As we have seen here, not all casinos with their own token are successful in deploying this feature.
It depends on how the team will introduce this to their players and how they will promote it.
Multidice team can look at the successful casino tokens in this forum, and assess why they achieved such position.
It will give them idea on how to handle their own token to make this endeavor worthwhile for their patrons.
We will see if they will be the next one that can offer a soon-to-be valuable casino token.
1762  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: August 01, 2022, 04:40:26 PM
Crypto gambling was good website ,they running the gambling website from long. But the review is not the trusted one, most of the website using the paid reviews. So this may be the paid review from this crypto gambling. The gamblers may choose the good gambling sites.
This is the big issues that review sites are facing, many believe they are just being paid to do the reviews, they already lose their reputation and personally I also don't believe on review site anymore though of course that can still be your guide but never fully trust them. I can only see good and real reviews from the real players, especially here you can see many shares their experiences and that could be your best guide on choosing the best site for you.

For some players outside the forum, these review sites are their guide to find a good casino.
They may give you reviews that are not always on point, but at least you will have an idea what the casino is offering.
It is still on your side how to validate those reviews by actually playing on the site.
If you don't want to lose big amount, you can always try them with small funds and see how it goes for you.
These review sites have also their flaws, so don't expect that they will provide you all the necessary facts to know.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 31, 2022, 11:50:10 PM
It is a have to keep yourself busy doing other things instead of trying to play, even using a play money.

The system inside you will lead you to play back using real money. It's unavoidable.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Saying that a gambling addict will have the same or similar satisfaction gambling with play money is like saying that an adrenaline junkie trying to quit base jumping will have similar satisfaction jumping on a trampoline. Because the source of the high is not the same, the euphoria will be different. The same logic applies to pathological gamblers and their pathological behavior.

I strongly agree.

Also, playing gambling using fake money won't give you anything, you're just fooling yourself. Besides, using fake money doesn't contain any challenge, because of course it's just a game using fake money, compare to real gambling, it has more challenge since we're talking about winnings and profits. Using fake money can't heal someone's addiction, because it will just bore them to the highest and eventually they will start playing the real thing again.
Complete waste of time - and not going to work

They need to find more viable option how to address gambling addiction.
For me, this is not the way to do it also. It won't resolve this problem.
They will just be tempted to play more and find ways how to use real money.
If the gambler wants real change, he needs to contemplate on his own why he badly needs a change of lifestyle.
It is in his own accord how he can change things for himself.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: July 31, 2022, 11:24:50 PM

Though this is not a big fight for everyone but I think this is big for Filipino boxing fans out there because this is the chance that the Philippines can capture a belt in boxing once again.

Personally, I'm inclined to believe that Jerwin Ancajas has the potential on bringing glory again to the Philippines in the world of boxing because he has the tools, he just needs to be focused more on training and not be too confident because that might be the reason on his loss to Martinez in their first outing.

My heart is for Ancajas he is my countryman and the country has no champion right now after so many years there's a big load on Ancajas to deliver a win, but he is against a very tough Martinez who has not only given him a very tough fight but beat him decisively, his training camp must change the approach on facing Martinez on their first meeting he has no lateral movement just waiting for Martinez to come, but Martinez is just too quick he can not counter punch because of Martinez's speed.
Speed and quickness should be the main focus of the team now.

As Ancajas already experienced to fight Martinez inside the ring,
he or his team should know how to strategize this re-match.
Filipinos for sure will be rooting for Ancajas, but the team should be well-prepared for this fight.
More than couple of months of preparation I believe is enough to form a very good strategy.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: July 31, 2022, 10:57:19 PM
But the truth is Bitcoin adoption as of now not as a means of payment, Bitcoin adoption is storing the value that holders can make a profit in a certain time.
I doubt this becomes crucial now, when those big holders drop their bags and sell all their Bitcoin have, it will surely have an impact on the market which dropping the price.

However, the awareness has continued to spread and there are some stores now accepting Bitcoin, recently the US added more Bitcoin ATMs which means the demand of the buyers has been there.  So I expect that there are massive Bitcoin adoption in the future, in fact, we have a few countries has been starting Bitcoin makes a legal tender.

Right now, we can't expect a lot of merchants accepting bitcoin in their payment method.
However, the numbers are increasing already. But for some holders, they won't spend their satoshis but instead hold it.
It is true, most of btc holders are treating this as investment, where they can exchange it with good profits in the future.
But if there will be merchants available, some of these crypto users will use their services, mostly for convenience purposes.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: July 31, 2022, 10:12:50 PM
Jake Paul fight is no more. Hasim Rahman Jr has failed to lose weight and show he would make 200lbs next week. Jake Paul agreed to fight him at 205lbs but Rahman’s team said he would only fight at 215lbs now. So the fight is officially cancelled. Jake Paul is tweeting about it so you have to wonder now who is next… A second cancelled fight is pretty bad for Jake’s career. He’s got to set his sights on McGregor or Tyson now to keep his name in the news.
There was a lot of debate whether this would be the first career loss for Jake Paul as he is fighting a real boxer in Hasim Rahman Jr and now the real boxer backed out of the fight even with the leverage and this will not harm the reputation of Jake Paul. Two boxers pulled out of the fight against an Youtuber which gives him the hype.

Personally i do not want to see Jake Paul fighting Conor McGregor as they are completely different weight class and Conor would not stand a chance against Jake Paul.
I would feel sorry for Jake Paul if they would reallt cancel this fight again because I watched on different video clips that he's been preparing for this match. It should have been another opportunity for him to prove his stregth on the ring. I hope he could find a perfect opponent where there's no any chance of canceling anymore because he deserves more than this.

We don't know who really did cancel first this fight.
But no matter what, a professional boxer should be the next opponent of Jake Paul.
However, who would have the guts to fight him inside the ring?
We need to see the caliber of Jake Paul if he is faced with a real professional boxer.
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: July 30, 2022, 11:59:08 PM
As many people have said there is no good in crypto signal group or trading they will still charge you a fee to get in there that's not even a 100% guarantee of our profits but they are just giving their guesses.

But one of the good things is that you learn with a lot that is provided on the internet or in this forum so that you can improve your skills instead of relying on crypto signals, this is not good for you except learning in other ways.
I agree with this, you should learn to practice your own trading skills and don't be depending too much to some telegram channels, it won't give you good outcome, you are just paying others to give you signals where not all of that is accurate, better to learn trading little by little and always check social media because news can affect the price of a certain coin. Better to improve ourselves so that we will not need to pay for subscription and we will not blame other people for our losses.
paid telegram group was only for lazy traders that not confidence with their own skills. depend on given signal and even didnt understand the reason behind buy or sell signal. i am agree we have alot sources in internet that could used as learning material for our skill developtment . ebook, youtube our other resources were free so everyone should independently learn trading knowledge.

Anyway, they will soon find out that they are just wasting their resources on these paid groups.
Better cultivate your skills on your own, and start from basic trading skills.
Learn the TAs, we have a lot of resources now these days. Just one click, and you will get tons of articles to read.
Even in this forum alone, you will already get valuable insights to hone your skills.
Don't rush, better understand what's going on rather than rely on fud and other baseless opinions.
1768  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|$10 000 Daily Battles|🚀BFG Mining Extension voting on: July 30, 2022, 11:36:40 PM
When you do not make the money that a normal casino owner would, and you make back only a little because rest goes to dividends, then it becomes a problem to spend money on marketing, at least not a big budget, or you have to sell your own tokens to pay for it, which is a big no no. This system failed so far, only betfury managed to make it work.

It's worth noting that the Betfury developers initially allocated 10% of the total number of BFG tokens for marketing. It is 500 million BFG tokens or about $7.8 million if you consider the current price of the BFG token. It seems to me such a budget for marketing is quite a lot, especially for a crypto-gambling project. At the same time, Betfury has already made good progress since its launch, and it would be interesting to know how much the Betfury team has already spent on promoting its project.

I believe, those figures is hard to get as they won't disclose all their marketing expenses.
But I am certain, they allot good amount of money when it comes to their promotional activities.
They will not attain this position if they are not also generous in some of their marketing activities.
So far, they are doing good as they can sustain this business along with other features like their staking feature.
We don't need to know how much they are allotting like in promotional programs, would be better to see the impact of it on their site.
1769  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 30, 2022, 11:07:15 PM
The op is right, this days, making money have become way harder than it used to be, it can take up to a month to make let's say $500, but that same amount can be all spent under 3 minutes due to how expensive commodities, services have become, to be financially independent at this time, it is necessary to apply wisdom to how we spend, there was a time I use to spend so much on subscription of my cable TV which I might not have time to sit and watch even for 1 day until it expires, but recently, the economy of my country have forced me to cut off such type expenses since they bring or add absolutely no value to my pocket or day to day life.
This is not a matter of working hard to afford things like this, I can work hard to afford things that are really important, not ones that mean absolutely nothing or adds no value to my life.

Your example of cable TV subscription is one good example that you are paying for something that you really don't need.
So yes, it is good to re-evaluate your lifestyle and remove things that you think you don't need anymore.
We need to be practical these days as we need to prepare for the possible scenario that we may encounter with.
It is better to prepare rather than not knowing where to get your funds in times of need.
Don't rely on others, it is better if you are more self-sufficient and not worry about what's to come.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 30, 2022, 10:27:34 PM
The deposit bonus is widely practiced whether its crypto or fiat based casino from my knowledge and to be honest which itself encourages people to deposit more money than what they are actually planned but before all of these they need to have trust on the casino then only they will deposit whatever money they are going to gamble wither it can be a 10 dollar or millions of dollars which means the reputation and user experience p[lays a huge role in attracting more money into their bankroll.
Before I was into deposit bonuses and it's really one good attraction for most casinos especially if they're like more than $10. Until I realized that there are just too many requirements for a user to claim that and I've stopped hoping for those bonuses but they're still good until now especially if you're loyal to a casino. It's not just the bonuses but also the promos that they're actively having and maybe every week or every other day.
Some bonuses requires a minimal information and aside from this, many site offers a lot of promotions that attracts new gamblers to try their platform and maybe this is the main reason why many are still coming into the site since aside from security, they are still active on giving out promotions. Every site should have a budget for this one, a gambling site needs an effective way of marketing and bonuses are very effective.

This is why you do need to check the terms attached to the bonuses offered by the casino.
Most of the time it is a bait to the players, because when you start reading their terms, it is hard to complete like their wagering requirements.
But most definitely, these various bonus programs still attract the interest of players.
Now, it depends on how these casinos offer it to their players, as they are in competition with other casinos.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 11:36:24 PM
My strategy is not to exceed the loss threshold in gambling by making a maximum deposit of 20% of my savings to enjoy the game, and when the balance runs out I must stop so it doesn't have a big impact on my finances.
Honestly, this one is good a advice a very good one. We should learn to manage everything so that we can have a peace of mind. At first, it is very hard to have this discipline but it can save us from being wreck and in debt. In my own perspective, I am saving the 30% of my salary, 30% for recreational activities and other things I needed to buy and then 40% will be for my family expenses, playing gambling is also included in that 30% so that when I reach that amount even though I am winning but I already used all to bet again, I will stop right away.
^ Definitely right, we should have to manage our fund and it should be there is a fixed amount that we wanted to gamble, if you say 20% of your saving is on gambling, it should be that amount and there is nothing extension. Dont continue to gamble beyond your limit, it should be a fixed amount.
The only way that this will happen is to have the self-discipline to control your urge in gambling so that you can manage your fund.
If all gamblers have the same mindset like this, there are no gambling addicts anymore, it seems gambling will exist just for fun, nothing else.

But unfortunately not, a lot of gamblers are being addicted into this for so many reasons.
Lucky for you if you know how to handle yourself and put some limits by your own accord.
But if not, being addicted into this game will give you a lot of trouble, not only financially, even emotionally.
Also, not on yourself but also with your loved ones or other people surrounding you.

1773  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: July 28, 2022, 11:44:13 PM
I mean a regular gamble must use Lightning network if Lightning network is available on the site Which site they use regularly for gamble. I am also like Lightning network for deposit and withdrawal my assets for gambling site. Lightning network complete soo fast transcation And here the transaction fee is very low compared to the normal network.
The truth is that the way you use it is how everyone should be aware, and it would be good if it were implemented in all casinos, but I think that a good way to use it and that it can become fashionable is for the casino to have a video or a structure where they explain in a didactic way the benefits that they have when using the LN, this is something that every player should know, I know that it can be annoying for some, but when they realize that they can save money, I think that those who do not they know that it is LN they will be interested, the fees associated with BTC are very important in games, trading and in anything that is of a type of service.

Up until now, not many players are familiar how to transact via LN.
Maybe, in most casinos and exchanges, you can barely see them integrating LN payment method also.
So for them, whichever is readily available, that's what they will use.
But let's take for example, if LN is available in most top exchanges, do you think people will utilize this network?
I guess, yes. And it will encourage them to transact via LN because of cheaper fees.
However, up until now, even top exchanges are not deploying the LN in their system.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA to be next MATIC on: July 28, 2022, 10:56:31 PM
If you are comparing for investment then I think it is not necessary since the two are not in competition with each other. It would be great if both could be held, as both promise further increases in price in the future. Both have very low prices suitable for buy and hold from now on. Both can be considered very popular in today's market, holding them will also provide us with some safety .

That is right, if you believe both platforms are worth investing, then go for both.
Diversification is good to follow if you think you are on the right track.
Because they will have different route of market performance, you can optimize your possible profits in that manner.
ADA and MATIC for me, are worth to take a look. But go deeper if you will invest some of your funds.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi is not dead, what is he doing? on: July 27, 2022, 11:47:53 PM
If Satoshi is not dead and still alive, what he is doing/they are doing right now is as simple as other alive people.
- Enjoying his achievement so far related to Bitcoin and also crypto,
- of coruse Eating
- Sleeping
- Doing daily activities from daily activities, sleeping, and waking up.
And,
what,,, wait,, is it so important for you to know what he is doing? Whoever he is and whatever he is doing right now, let it be and we cannot assume whatever it is.  Grin

He will just go crazy if he will think about what Satoshi is doing right now.
He opted to be mysterious up until today for his personal reasons.
Definitely, he will be doing what a regular person is doing for his daily activities.
But more than that, I believe, it will remain a mystery.
Just be contented that we have this bitcoin today because of him.
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 27, 2022, 11:06:24 PM
~
Engaging in gambling in moderation will greatly save us financial losses compared to engaging in entertainment outdoor.  Aside from that, recreational activities such as picnics, watching movies, and playing arcade games often have our finance in an outflow system.  The only reward is entertainment and happiness whereas, if engage in gambling there is a chance of getting back what we spent since gambling always involved a chance of getting back what we bet in a certain multiplier. Of course, we are talking about gambling in moderation.  Besides this kind of control, we are far from developing a gambling disorder.

This is the most interesting part. I think many people in their lives have met people who criticize gambling (or other "bad") spending, but at the same time have an expensive hobby that eats up a lot more time/money. Moreover, if you point it out to them, they get angry and say that "this is different" and cannot be compared  Grin
In general, everything is obvious: any activity that brings pleasure is good if you do it within reasonable limits and do not become a fanatic/addict.

I fully agree, that is why any activities in moderation will always save us money.  Imagine if we go out every day to party up with people and moderate it making us join the event twice a week will save us 5 days of spending money on that party.  The same goes for gambling.  If we moderate our time playing, not only do we save money but we have more time to do different stuff that will greatly help us to keep a tab of ourselves from gambling addiction

It is always better to assess your activities especially when it comes to spending out your money.
If you think about it, gambling is more on losing money rather than gaining money.
So you do need to think if you can afford this kind of lifestyle or just allot the money to other worthwhile activities.
If you know your limitations, you can possibly enjoy gambling. However, if you go deep, that's when trouble starts.
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Tether instead of Bitcoin ? on: July 27, 2022, 10:37:56 PM
Tether can not be compare with Bitcoin, because, Bitcoin has blockchain, while Tether does not have, and where Tether play a role when market is going dip, as a smart trader at that point in time, make use of Tether to hold the same value as a stable coin. Having said that, Tether does not add value, but bitcoin changes values from time to time and is very good to invest for long term holding.

I believe the OP is not well-versed about btc and usdt.
USDT is a stablecoin backed by fiat, and its value won't change much as it is stablecoin.
People go to this currency to avoid the volatility of the market.
Whereas, a lot are trying their luck to invest in btc for the hope that it will give them profits later on.
1778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: July 26, 2022, 11:43:03 PM
I don’t think your business will survive if bitcoin is doomed. It would be better if you invest the small portion of what you are earning.
The existence of a business has nothing to do with accepting bitcoin. I think the op is looking to use bitcoin as a payment method for his business besides fiat. Accepting bitcoin payments will not affect or hurt the business, but simply expand the payment method to attract more customers. If the op is living in a country where bitcoin is legal, this is a good decision as he will have another customer for his business, bitcoiners.

It also depends on how the OP looks at this market, does he believe that btc has future?
Because if he is not convinced with this market, better keep his payment method in fiat.
I do agree that it will just open for another payment method in his shop.
But it doesn't mean, it will have significant effect on his business.
So whether the OP will add btc payment, is all up to him. Because this is just another payment opportunity for him
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding earning estimates for crypto games? on: July 26, 2022, 11:07:04 PM
You will have to visit their community and ask the actual players to get a more accurate answer. Maybe they will still give you some ballpark figure but that's better than nothing.

....I have found this cored.io site, but this doesn't have too many games on it.
It's probably because there's simply less legitimate games now. Many already stopped. Their reward pool system were flawed from the start and got drained pretty quickly so they had no other option but to shutdown.

Yes, I do agree, go to the specific community groups or chats of the games, and ask from their players.
They may not give you exact figures but they may possibly give you some estimates.
Because it depends on the player himself, his skills, and how much he can spend to the items inside the game.
So you really can't expect them to give a clear amount of earnings.
1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reports suggest that the hardware wallet industry will outgrow exchanges on: July 25, 2022, 09:26:49 PM
Exchanges are exchanges and hardware wallets are hardware wallets - they serve different purposes, so you can't compare them directly, they don't compete with each other. People are keeping coins on exchanges not because they view it as a wallet, but because they don't bother to move them out, or maybe they prefer a convenience for trading without making deposits/withdrawals. Also, you should keep in mind that software wallets are more widely used than hardware wallets, so if you want to analyze outflows from exchanges, hardware and software wallets should be viewed together.

It is indeed not reasonable to compare these 2 different entities, as they are serving different purposes.
Hardware wallet is merely for storage of your coins, whereas, exchanges are for trading purposes.
They have totally different purposes so why compare these 2? And a user can buy more than one hardware wallet, just think about it.
I don't see a point of comparing these 2 though. You can't create exchange easily and survive this market.
So definitely, only few have the capability to sustain this kind of business and maintain it thru ups and downs of this volatile market.
