2561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 07, 2021, 11:16:41 AM
Bitcoin is not a new term to most of the investors or general public in whole and it's all over the news due to increase in prices, major companies making move to accept it as mode of payment or investing huge sums of money into it like Tesla with approximately 42k bitcoins and Microstrategy with 110k bitcoins in the balance sheet. We all know how much importance and recognition it has gained with time in the period of 13 years

Year          Price
2009         $0
2013         $200 (200x)
2017         $20k ( 100x)
2021          $68kATH(4.25x) Overall (68,000x)

Although we are at $49k at current

Have any other assest given you this much profits with holding them over all these years? The stock market was the only best option to people aside from gold but after the introduction of bitcoin people slowly and gradually became interested in Bitcoin and then whosoever came to know the decentralized, deflationary and secured system they put up the money into bitcoin.

Dollar devaluation

People fear when the bitcoin prices fell down but have they ever cared to notice how much the fiat they are holding for years like the legal cash which they earn as salary, spend them on various items, paying taxes has depreciated almost 70-80% of it's original value over this time and this is the case with most of the currencies over time.If your USD is strong compared to some other weak nations currencies it doesn't imply that inflation has not hit the same but the case is different for all nations and over time it will become value less or just piece of paper like in Vietnam there are one Million Bolivian dollar could not buy you toilet paper only so what's the holding of these currencies at last if not investing?

Gold devaluation

The fiat have gone too much down in the value and speaking of another safe heaven gold for people and have the top most priority of people's investment has not given any returns over past 10 years and moreover there is value depreciation of $4 for $1000 worth of gold investment so what's the fun of holding these gold bars in your bank locker which is shining metal only to show off to people only and not going to give you any returns for future guarantee?

I often see posts on the Internet from novice crypto investors: is it worth investing in bitcoin, because it is so expensive? It may be better to invest in stocks of well-known companies or in gold, because these investments seem to be more reliable. For such people, this picture will be a good motivation to choose Bitcoin as an investment.

Inflationary Financial Assets

You people invest in stock market and is the returns stable? NO there is volatility there also but some don't fear the same because it's regulated and you feel safe? Or you think the stock would pump again and funds will be restored with profits? So why not have the same approach for Bitcoin also which has given so much returns over all these years? I prefer because all other asset are not deflationary and you can't have $100 remaining $100 also after 5 years also so you need to invest it so why not make wise move and prefer bitcoin for the same reason you are investing in other financial assets?

Why not altcoins?

I would not go into much detail about the same as i have given it many times but to explain it in simple way here is illustration for you all :

So if you understand the market and want to safeguard yourself from all of these problems then BTC is the best option for you.Few understand it fast rest late but soon you understand the better it will be for you.

I am proud btc holder and these are the reasons why dips don't panic me and I am not afraid of because all other investment have already been screwed up already by the government policies and all that same stuff but btc is hope to me personally that shows some bright future ahead free from worries if I manage to HODL for all these years and I will surely do that.Do you guys have any other options?

I agree with everything that you have stated.

Personally, I don't also worry so much about the dips because I know that bitcoin will always recover and bounce back after a while. I'm here for the long term, hence I am relaxed whatever happens in the market because it's well-known that bitcoin has already withstood the test of time and the dumps are just normal and it's part of the season. You see, it isn't always a good day. There are bullish and bearish market. Right now, the prices are not really in a good position because most people are withdrawing their funds for thanksgiving and holidays, so it's really understandable. More assets are being withdrawn than deposited, hence we are seeing a leaning down market trend. If you will also look at the history of crypto market, you'll see an almost similar scenario every end of the quarter. So, there's no really need to panic over such normal circumstances.

Also, if you are well aware of what you entered, you wouldn't be paranoid so much. It's really essential to learn the basics and fundamentals of everything we are getting ourselves into to avoid regrets and emotional stress later on. If you studied crypto, then you should know that whenever the dumps happen, it's always a great opportunity to buy coins that are reputable and with high potential. Take advantage of the dips because it doesn't really happen always. Still remember though to invest what you can only afford to lose and buy low, sell high. That way, you can never go wrong. Remember when to tp and to cut loss as well. Never ever rely on just hearsays and do your own technical analysis instead.
2562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin a donation to everyone on: December 07, 2021, 10:38:22 AM
I read on lost Bitcoin today on the coin telegram on the topic of lost Bitcoin and I stopped to wonder what benefits the lost Bitcoin are to every holder, there is no gainsaying how much Bitcoin we have all lost due to one reason or the other some to a wrong address I hard of a guy that lost the private key to a wallet holding about 13,000 Bitcoin and wants to ask should we take such accidents as a donation to Bitcoin holders?

Lost bitcoins aren't really counted as a donation to other bitcoin holders because once a coin is lost due to human error, it cannot be benefited by anyone anymore. Unless, you have mistakenly sent the bitcoin to an active user, then just consider it as a donation and an experience you should learn upon. Lost bitcoins and other coins are trapped in the blockchain which cannot be retrieved, therefore no one will be able to utilize it. Meanwhile, those coins that are held in an account and then the owner suddenly forgets the seedphrase or password can no longer be accessed too. There is a very slim chance of getting your account back once you've forgotten the important information that are needed for you to open your account. There are some people who offer such retrieval services but most of them are probably scams.

The lost coins and impossible to recover accounts with coins just contribute to the basic supply and demand law. The moment either or both aforementioned situation happen, the supply will be little and the demand will be big, resulting to higher price value of the coin. I think this is more on contributing to the community and position status rather than being a donation.

Losing a coin or forgetting the significant details are very much saddening. I encountered many scenarios about it and I know it is indeed heart-wrenching to the owner. It's really needed for us to be careful and mindful whenever we make any transaction to avoid these kinds of losses. We are responsible for our own funds, hence we should do everything that we can to protect it.
2563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please tell me which bookmaker accepts cryptocurrency betting on: December 04, 2021, 10:09:41 PM
Have you tried :
- Stake
- Roobet
- Sportbet

I only have experience for "Stake and Roobet", In case for Sportbet not tried again because I not regular Sporbet but most people say is good too. I have great experience with "Stake and Roobet" for the case withdraw activity and bonus.

I have seen several posts that claim those were nice websites too. Actually, there are many threads already here about what OP is looking for. I suggest to just look for it instead of making a new thread because those are still relevant anyway. Sometimes we really have to utilize the resources we have and not just rely on the people surrounding us. You can view the thread here about good sportsbooks and then pick which one is fit to your liking. If I'm not mistaken, it's also here in Gambling section. Just check it out, there's so much suggestions and advices in there.
2564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: December 04, 2021, 05:08:14 PM
It is because they rush things up, the reason is either because of jealousy, someone they know is already making huge amount of money in Trading and he is not, or he doesn't want to be left alone. The other thing is that they are not totally prepared, after learning the basics, they think that it is all that they are needed to pull off and make profits, but it is not.

Trading is about self-discipline and so much knowledge about it. Learning on your mistakes instead of letting yourself disappointed and frustrated after lossing a trade.

Simply because they can't imagine a way on how to regulate it yet, but fo sure in the future kapag halos lahat na ng bansa eh tinatangkilik na itong cryptocurrency, Government here in the Philippines will do the same thing. Sana lang di naman nila lagyan ng napakalaking tax ang mga cryptocurrency users dito sa bansa natin at sana gamitin naman sa tama ang pera ng taong bayan.
2566  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin dump, anong nangyayari? on: December 04, 2021, 03:56:36 PM
The usual stuff siguro kabayan, volatility, idagdag mo na rin yung di matapos-tapos na COVID-19 na hanggang ngayon eh patuloy pa ring namiminsanla sa iba't-ibang bansa. Kawawa yung mga naipit sa itaas, pero makakabawi rin naman yan once na magpump ulit yung Bitcoin after some retests sa nakaraang support and resistance.

Always DYOR mga kabayan.
2567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 04, 2021, 02:12:17 PM
People always select good altcoins for trading which could raise up and make them profitable. Some may like to trade with meme coins to earn quick money. which might help them to change their future & fulfil their come dream true over night or might be result lost everything after go down those meme coins unexpectly and never come back. Have you even trade with meme coins or Would you like to trading with meme coins??

Trading meme coins is a high risk high reward trading, it's okay as long as you know what to do. Meme coin is so easy to be manipulated unlike the other big coins, so it's important that you always monitor the market movement so you'll never miss the opportunity to make profits. But of course since it could be easily manipulated, you have to put stop loss in every trade to avoid further losses as much as possible.
2568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 04, 2021, 01:28:23 PM
It depends on what coin we are talking here. Buying at $10 even though it dipped to $2 doesn't mean that it won't rise up again, it could even surpass the $10, if you bought a very good coin then not putting a stop loss won't hurt. However, if you bought a meme coin, then it's really pretty alarming not putting a stop loss and getting always updated.

But it's all about how you will manage the risk you'll take when you bought a certain coin. High risk high reward is worth it.
2569  Economy / Gambling / Re: There isn’t a poker room you could win at ? on: December 04, 2021, 12:07:49 PM
Regarding online poker schools, I just have an opinion that is different to yours. I think most of them are harmful, because they are teaching the old style that no longer works. Poker is a living thing, and it is evolving, it is not static. For example, look at how Daniel Negreanu was playing 10 years ago, and what he was teaching at the time, and how he plays today. Indeed he's a genius, because he has found the strength to abandon his old style and adapt to the new reality. ... Well, that's just my opinion, of course, but if it means something to you, I am a 2 times winner of the Bitcointalk Poker Series. (I know bragging is wrong, but I hope it's relevant, just this once. Smiley )
Just interesting for me. I`m playing soccer for more then 15 years and i see how it changes. I see how change boots, ball, training ground. It is the one side. On the other side - team work between players in different situations. And the rules changes too.
But when you playing poker - you playing with the same rules and same cards. Can it be so, that the old strategy will be better then new? Even because the new player don`t know about it?

Yes, anything can happen, because luck is a factor in the game of poker. An absolute newbie can beat the best poker player in the world in one game or even more. But the more games played, the more obvious the importance of experience and skill, so a weak player, or someone using an outdated strategy, doesn't stand a chance in the long run.

For sure newbies will always lose in bluffing, because newbies does have a weak resolve to fight for their cards, so the only option they have is to fold. But in the long run, as they are making experience, they will also start to make profits using their own strategy against other professional players. Poker is like chess, it's a mind game and the smart one will always win.
2570  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bonus of over 1000 Euros stuck behind wager wall, fml on: December 04, 2021, 11:19:56 AM
They are operating since last year if I'm not mistaken, and they said that their customer service is 24/7 so I suggest you send an email to them regarding about this matter to solve your problem easily. Also, is your account only a demo account? if it is, then you really can't withdraw that money. I've searched about them and so far there's no scam accusations against them. However, the bonus you've got seems too good to be true to have without really doing anything.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site for esport? on: December 03, 2021, 08:04:24 AM
Hello, which crypto betting site is the best for betting esport?
I have played esport on ggbet (limited now), vulkan (the same) and 1xbit (scammed me).
I'm looking for website with such markets like 1xbet/bit has but with crypto.
I play leagues like ESEA Advanced, mostly lower tier tournaments.

Since most of them already suggested different sportsbooks to you, I guess those were enough to be your options in finding another one that would suit you well. I've read several sportsbooks suggested that are reputable and can really make the most out of your money. The thing you just got to do is to play well, and there would be minimal to no hassle of withdrawing your winnings. But still, you have to do your own background checking to each site presented to you. You could first narrow down your options and then after, search every choices left to pick what you think would suit your preferences well in terms of game environment, variation of games, terms and conditions, set of rules, and many more. That way, you could prevent yourself from entering another scam website again.

Also don't forget to check if the sites are available in your country because some websites aren't available due to legality issues. You see, regulation still plays a huge role in being able to gamble. If your country has restrictions to some good websites, it would be very unfortunate for you because you have to find another trustworthy site again. Since most of the times, casinos don't really allow the usage of VPNs. If you insist to do so, the higher the probability of getting caught, being punished, and losing your money altogether. Remember, you are responsible for your own money. Di your duty to research to avoid regrets later. Asking for suggestions is fine, but you still have to do your part. That is very much essential to protect your funds.
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hi all, can you suggest a bookmaker that accepts bitcoin prediction bets on: December 03, 2021, 07:30:16 AM
Hi all, can you suggest a bookmaker that accepts bitcoin prediction bets?

Lol! That's called trading. You need to make correct predictions to win and wrong predictions to loose. Also you can try options trading based on various assets.

There were couple of ICO I had seen years back, who had bitcoin price prediction games. But they are not live anymore.

Also I have found an interesting crypto betting website which you can check.

https://polymarket.com/

I am not sure if they are paying or scam though.

This kind of websites have been famous for what it has to offer to players. Given its simple but refreshing concept, it piqued the interest of many gamblers. I think this kind of site peaked last year which is 2020 because of all the relevant and important events that took place during that time such as the election and the covid-19 pandemic which are nice things to predict and bet on that could make you some money if ever your predictions were right.

I looked up the site you mentioned which is polymarket and I think they are a legit website for bitcoin prediction bets. This is just based on my research though. I still suggest people who would be interested to bet on it to still do your own research and background checking first before actually playing with it to assure its credibility. But so far, based on my findings, they have reputable partnerships with several crypto focused builders and VCs as well that could prove they are legitimate. There are also several articles that has been written about it and how it has grown so big together with its founder. The site pretty much seem to be decent to eyes as well and they have noted a disclaimer and FAQs on their site which could give you an overview of what their site is all about, how it works, and what are the common problems encountered in it. They have a few problems they have to resolve which could be a headache for some of you, so take that into consideration. You can also check other websites that others have mentioned. I also saw several which are familiar to me and could be another great option.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casino key features!? Looking for a players advice! on: December 03, 2021, 06:54:11 AM
Hello,

I'm currently developing a crypto casino, I need an advice.

 - What's they key features that you are looking for when joining a new Crypto casino?
 - What set's you off from joining new casino?
 - Main cryptocurrencies that you like to gamble with?
 - Your favorite games?

* Currently looking for an experienced advisor / co-founder, that can help me to structure the whole think. PM me in case you are up for a gig, the financing is on my part.

Thanks!

Asking for advise before starting to make your own casino website is a nice idea. Hearing what the player wants in a site can be really helpful to create a user-friendly casino that everybody wants. It's a good step to check what your target market need or want in order to encourage more to being your regulars the moment you have already set up one. However, please also put into mind that you should not only focus on what the players want, but also to what will make your casino website unique against all the casinos that are existing. Nowadays, a lot of casinos has been already established. Most of them already made and built their name in the gambling industry, hence, it would be a tough competition most especially to the aspiring casino owners by now given that there are many good rivalries.

Now that there are so many people that had replied to this post already, list all of their answers about the things you've asked. Collaborate the ideas and make a new concept out of it to make it more appealing and fun to play with in the perspective of a gambler. Also try to put your position as a player and put the features that you want to have and experience as a player yourself. But as much as you want to make your future site as friendly as possible, do not forget that you have to make a profit too, because a business is still business. You have to make a living out of it too and not just be a generous giver like some sort of charitable organization. Assess the risks, make plans, execute. Best of luck to you, mate.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spin and wagering on: December 03, 2021, 06:19:34 AM
I have been having misunderstanding these two popular words in gambling and I can't hide my feelings and I need help understanding these two terminologies, most of the gambling sites always announced some bonuses and sometimes their offer to give free spin or free wagering. What are their differences and how to do their work independently.

Based on what I know, free spins are mainly the bonuses intended to be given to new players. This is usually one of the strategies of gambling sites and casinos to garner more players and have more website traffic. Free spins are usually the trial of the newbies to check the runaround and environment of the website. This could be given with several tries or one try only. Like any other regular spins, the free spin could get you some prize if you're lucky to be able to land to one, but I think most of the times the free spins are programmed to land on no to small winning prizes. It would be a little to no chance to win the jackpot. Otherwise, you are lucky enough to land on the perfect timing where it was programmed to let the player win. This is given to encourage the player to deposit and to be a potential regular client once they liked the gaming environment. I think it is a good way to build a rapport so that they will gain more in return if ever the clients decided to stick with them.

Meanwhile, wagering is also a strategy of a casino or website with the same goal - to entice players. Usually these two come hand-in-hand. Before they would give you free spins, they would ask some requirements such as undergoing KYC or depositing an initial amount. This is their way to ensure that they would benefit as well. You see, gambling is still a business and they need to profit too. By having a market strategy of giving free spins by wagering, they would generate income. Gambling websites are not charitable events after all. This is their way of advertising and promotion which I must say that is effective up until this date.
2575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic trading strategy for newbie to make a profit on: December 02, 2021, 03:28:31 PM
Well, the answer is already in your question, you wanna learn basic trading strategy? study basic trading strategies. There's a lot of techniques and approach on trading but having the basics is really important because it will serve as your foundation in the rest of trading strategies that will indeed bring you a lot of profits.

You could check the channel "Wystrade" in youtube where they explain trading very well. They are explaining it piece by piece so viewers will easily understand what they are watching.

Disclaimer: Not my YouTube channel if that's what you guys are thinking.
2576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My newbie trading experience on: December 02, 2021, 02:45:52 PM
That's a great start, making profits means your approach on trading is effective, however, I think what you need to study next is the risk management, you know, to avoid losses. Trading without any risk management knowledge will lead you to losses that you can't even afford, losses that will make you a very compulsive trader. Controlling your emotions is very important as well, so you can avoid entering blind trades without even doing a solid technical analysis.
2577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the sites where it is paid daily or weekly with STAKING on: December 02, 2021, 01:49:36 PM
Even though I have an account on Binance, I have never done a system (Staking) like you do, but I saw your topic about Staking, so I remember reading about it on one of the webs at the time and I tried to search again and I found it.

Take a look below, an exchange/trading site that uses the Staking payment method.

As I quote below, it seems that Binance uses a staking system.
The Best Crypto Staking Platforms Compared (2021)
Quote
The largest exchanges tend to support the staking of multiple PoS cryptocurrencies. In the case of Binance, this works through two different methods. There’s ‘locked staking’, which will simply stake your coins for a fixed period, after which you’ll get it back. Then there’s a DeFi staking option for a limited number of currencies (though this is actually performed by an outside organisation, and not by Binance itself).

I agree here.

Binance is the only exchange I trust my coins with. I don't do staking as well but Binance is the best place to do staking. A lot of my friends do staking there and you could always sleep better at night knowing your coins are safe in binance while you're making profits. You could also do some research about other big exchangers that do offer staking so you could have more options.
2578  Economy / Gambling / Re: There isn’t a poker room you could win at ? on: December 02, 2021, 12:59:09 PM
I mean I do win against players, I can do it for a week, a month and even a year but I always lose to the house.

The rake and house wins, it’s like impossible to beat the house...

You are probably already aware that poker is a super intense game online, you really are playing against the best in the world and the type of players who would seek out a poker game in Bitcoin are going to generally be very high level players. If you do win against other players like you suggest, simply stick with the sites that you're already winning at - take those earnings and convert them into Bitcoin if your ultimate goal is to acquire more. If you're unable to beat the house as you say, then you simply are not an effective player and should probably seek out a different way to make money. Your earnings will never go up unless you can beat that cut of commission they take from each hand.

Exactly.

That's the very simplest way to make profits, I don't know why OP is doing something wrong and won't stop complaining about it even though he knows the solution for his problem, unless he is just all talk. Poker is very complicated game, if you're good at it doesn't mean no one can beat you, actually there's a lot of professional poker players around the globe that also play in online gambling that could never be known since we are talking about cryptocurrency.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 02, 2021, 11:49:17 AM
Yes another draw, both players able to get into a small bit of trouble and get out
of it too.

I believe the first pawn move from each player was played by a guest but both
Nepomniachtchi and Carlsen refused and played their own pawn positions.
Is this a normal start or is it just a symbolic gesture to invite guests to start
the match?

never seen that before
but find it really weird
even though i'm not the one who watches most of chess games

anybody else knows about it?
would like to know that too

It is one of the openings in chess. I always see it from Carlsen especially if he is playing against someone who is too good. I don't know the right term but yes, it is normal. If I'm not mistaken, they are gonna move both knights and then a little opening by moving a pawn then they will position their higher pieces slowly to tighten up the game to execute the checkmate as soon as possible.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there still original ideas for innovation in Slot games? on: December 01, 2021, 01:18:16 PM
What innovation are you still looking for in a slot game? As far as I know, a slot game is played just the way it is in every casino site and actual place. Maybe what you were saying is some sort of tweak about the way how the game is played? Like having the very same concept of slot games but actually having a different set of rules and how to win the prizes so that the game would pique the interest of the players. This could work as it could encourage the players to know more about how it works and be caught up in mastering it in the long run. Since as we all know, a game like a slot game is a repetitive game of luck that is just played by most because it is easy and requires little effort to play. Maybe some are playing it for the entertainment it brings, but I guess most just play it for the prize. So it would be a 50/50 scenario.
