1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: August 31, 2022, 02:00:23 AM
the only thing I understand is that some people play to a place they will like to play because they know the pay that favour them you can only went into place that favour you in the two crazy or casino kind of game so that is the only thing I found that most people have a personal place they do play their casino game
Yes, that's true and I think it has to do with the convenience they have found in that casino that they go there often. That's why finding a gambling place or casino is based on how we feel, so this is what makes each of us have a different casino to gamble on. In addition, if we can get a decent reward from that casino, we will not move to another casino unless other casinos provide better offers than the casino where we gamble.
This do always fall on someones preference since people are different when it comes to this manner which there are places turns out to be interesting for you but not for theirs which it would be normal that they would really be looking for other places on which they could really see on what they are looking for or simply that they would really be feeling comfortable and able to see on what they are looking for.
We do have lots of gambling sites nowadays or in this market where they do really offer different set of promotions or something like this but it wont really be that much different
and if a certain gambler do find it interesting then this is where they do stick.

Indeed. Personal preferences always play a role in finding a specific casino or gambling website that is suitable for your liking. Someone's comfortability and other features, facility, and functionality are things to consider in looking for a site to play with. In addition, the return to player rating is of importance too. But overall, it really depends on what you are looking for and if a certain casino satisfies you or not.

Some might find a casino interesting and worthwhile, while some might find it boring and just a waste of time, money, and effort. It really is a subjective matter and will be based on your viewpoint and predisposition. If gambling features are of importance to you, then you would reconsider if they turn you off at some functionality they have or they lack. For example, a KYC, withdrawal processes, and the likes.
1622  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: August 31, 2022, 01:29:27 AM
Whatever we say - one thing is for sure - we all have to leave gambling at the end for a better and more peaceful mind.
Gambling is fun for the time being.. but it does not bring in much good. Its better to live within one mean and cut all the things with steal away the peace of mind and good health
Actually that is what we should do but unfortunately, not many of us can really leave gambling forever. Some of us still go back to gambling and play our favorite games, although some don't often gamble anymore.

As long as we can use gambling properly, I believe we will be fine and can enjoy our time playing gambling. It all depends on how well we can carry ourselves when playing gambling so as not to cause bad consequences for ourselves.

I beg to disagree. Anyone can gamble responsibly. If only people won't abuse it and won't be so much indulged with it, there would be no problem. After all, too much of everything is harmful. Anything must be done with balance and limitations. If you know it to yourself that you do not really possess the self-restraint needed in order to gamble in smooth sailing manner, then you should reconsider entering gambling industry. Otherwise, you'll just dig your own grave. Because one can suffer so much if they can't even control themselves and handle their emotions and urge.

Being accountable of your actions should be your priority the moment you start gambling because no one would look after you except yourself. No one should be blamed if ever things don't go onto your favor because we always have the final say and we are to decide what actions we will take.
1623  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: August 31, 2022, 12:58:46 AM
A good gambler does not need to pick an interest to any game I want to play the no particular game that bring good luck or profit to them so casino game which will play online it is a new for some people country and it is an old kind of something for some people's country also so I believe that for you to come here some of us have known the method of playing this kind of game online not manually because everything is working digitally not manually any longer
Good gamblers already know what gambling game they will play and will choose one or more gambling games and stop playing when they have enough. But maybe the gambling games that exist in every place will be different because the casino also needs to see or research what gambling games people like. But if it was in an online casino, I think with the number of casinos today, people can choose the gambling game they want to play and will feel satisfied.

Gamblers who know their limitation really know when to continue and stop gambling. This trait of them really help them to not go overboard their capabilities and their budget allocation intended for gambling. Which is of course, beneficial because they won't be addicted or be bankrupt in a snap because of betting beyond what they can afford. Responsible gambling should be practiced by everyone because having the discipline in playing could really save us from unnecessary troubles and problems in the future.

I believe people can still be a responsible gambler despite being a high-risk gambler. As long as you are only betting what you can afford to lose and do not gamble consecutively after losing will really help. Satisfaction is important in playing gambling if you are in it for the fun, entertainment, profit, or mix of the said factors, but mental, emotional, and physical state should be considered too.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 30, 2022, 07:37:08 AM

Quote
Naoya Inoue and Paul Butler have agreed to terms on an undisputed bantamweight championship fight Dec. 13 in Japan, sources told ESPN.

Inoue, a star boxer in Japan who is ESPN's No. 2 pound-for-pound boxer, will attempt to unify all four belts for the first time in his career (he holds the WBA, WBC and IBF titles.) The winner of the matchup -- Inoue will be heavily favored -- will be the first undisputed champion at 118 pounds in nearly 50 years.

The last goal for Japan's "The Monster" in the Bantamweight Division, to unify all four belts here.

A mismatch? An easy win for Inoue? Not even a big challenge for Inoue? Can't blame some people's view about the match as the distance between Naoya Inoue and Paul Butler is really that wide and long gap. I can't even think of a way how Butler can survive the wrath of Inoue.

No mentioned venue at the moment but it's in Japan. The first time Paul Butler will fight outside the United Kingdom. Almost all advantages are on Inoue.

Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler undisputed championship fight set for Dec. 13 in Japan
Naoya Inoue set for undisputed bantamweight title fight in December

In this upcoming match, obviously, the crowd's favorite would be Inoue because of his power and strength inside the boxing ring. In their last match, Butler was really not in par with Inoue's skills and performance, resulting of him losing the title. Although we can't really be complacent as well because tables might turn in their upcoming game this December. Surely, Butler is training harder now to ensure that he is more capable of defeating Inoue. After all, there are four belts on the line in this match. We don't also want to underestimate Butler's capability because he has potential and definitely won't give the belts away easily for the second time around.

Hopefully, they will give us an interesting and thrilling performance so that the audience most especially their fans won't be disappointed and instead be satisfied. So, let's just see what would the outcome be. According to the interview of Inoue, he's already looking forward to fighting Fulton after his fight with Butler. Basing from this, we can conclude that he is confident to look forward for another opponent's fight. But let's just wait and see. I'm rooting for Inoue, but I'm also looking forward to Butler's performance.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 30, 2022, 03:10:31 AM

So Top Rank's Bob Arum failed to persuade George Kambosos to face another opponent before demanding a rematch with undisputed champion Devin Haney. George Kambosos officially exercised his rematch clause against undisputed champ Devin Haney. The planned date is on October 15 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. It is the same venue as the very popular Australian Open (tennis).

I think the first fight was very boring and Haney clearly outscored Kambosos. I think it will happen again. But maybe the difference is that Kambosos will let his hands go right after the opening bell. Despite the boring first fight, we better expect another sold-out crowd as this is once in a lifetime experience in Australia. People will still go for sure. It is probably the PPV buys that will take a hit. Unless they both can promote this fight well. Haney is a boring trash-talker though but a mad Kambosos isn't.

This would be the second time around that these boxers will fight inside the ring and by this time, they will be fighting for the undisputed lightweight championship in October 16 in Australia. It was said that the match will happen during the afternoon of the said date and will be viewed in October 15 in United States via streaming if I'm not mistaken. During their first fight, Kambosos was really overwhelmed by the power, stamina, and technical and strong punch and jabs combination delivered by Haney. The record Kambosos achieved during his fight with Lopez was tainted by his recent match. And perhaps he is hoping to win the title back because after his loss, he decided to file for a rematch as soon he had the chance.

They still have a month and a few weeks to prepare and train physically, mentally, and emotionally. I guess the time they have right now is sufficient to condition themselves overall to prepared for this match. Although based on the odds, the crowd's favorite is Haney because of their previous match. His powerful attacks were memorable for the viewers to bet on him again this time. However, Kambosos will surely not back down either.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: August 30, 2022, 02:20:20 AM
Have you assessed yourself on what kind of gamblers are you, this quiz which is a 2-minute nine-step quiz that will assess you on what kind of gamblers are you after you take the risk to be sure to answer the poll so the community will know how many of us here are Non-Problem Gambler, Moderate-Risk Gambler or High-Risk Gambler.

Quote
This self-assessment is based on the Canadian Problem Gambling Index. The higher your score, the greater the risk that your gambling is a problem.
Self Assessment Quiz

Mine's result is low-risk gambler which I believe is true.

I seldom gamble and when I do, I make sure that I only gamble what I can afford to lose so that it won't bother me and it won't be a pain in my pocket or account. I don't really like to gamble beyond my capacity so I make sure to assess the situation first before gambling and making a risk so I won't regret later on. Because overthinking and regretting due to lost money is really bothering. Personally, it affects my mental state and influence how I behave whenever I gamble.

Every time I take my chances with betting such as risking to profit over something in general, it makes me nervous most especially if I'm uncertain of the outcome. I have my fair shares of mistake in gambling and I certainly wouldn't fall into the same mistake in the future because I already learned my lesson. Hence, the answer I chose in the self-assessment was more of never and a little of sometimes.

I'm sure a lot of people are opposite of me because of course, being a high-risk gambler could also mean higher rewards if ever you will win. Perhaps I'm just really more on calculated side rather impulsive because I once lost a huge amount thinking it would profit and be a good source of income, turns out it isn't worth it. Although I'm aware that it is my fault for not thinking long-term.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 30, 2022, 01:48:19 AM

ctto

Date: October 8, 2022
Venue: Los Angeles

Though this is not a big fight for everyone but I think this is big for Filipino boxing fans out there because this is the chance that the Philippines can capture a belt in boxing once again.

Personally, I'm inclined to believe that Jerwin Ancajas has the potential on bringing glory again to the Philippines in the world of boxing because he has the tools, he just needs to be focused more on training and not be too confident because that might be the reason on his loss to Martinez in their first outing.

No odds yet but I'll post it here once available.

During his first fight with Martinez, it was evident that he was overpowered by his opponent. Despite having a good title and track record, he lost to Martinez which is slightly lower than him in height but undeniably delivers strong punches and calculated strikes. This became his losing end to the judges during their initial fight. He lost via unanimous decision that made him lost his hard-earned title during his early years.

Right now, Ancajas has still couple of months left to train harder and think of possible strategies and techniques that could make him win. Hopefully, this time, he will be able to get back on track and get back the title he lost. In an interview, he claimed that during the following rounds of their match, he experienced cramping in his legs which made him lose his focus because of the pain he's feeling.

Really rooting that he'll be able to gain enough strength to overpower Martinez and not experience the same tragic event that has happened to him during their fight. If ever he wins, this will be a good opportunity for the Filipinos to celebrate after all the consecutive losses from boxing industry.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 30, 2022, 01:15:36 AM
I know that many bettors, if a sporting event develops in favor of their bet, make a counter bet - for example, they bet on odds of 1.3 and on the opposite event, the odds were 3.3. Then the odds changed 1.3 -> 1.1 and 3.3 -> 5.7. At this moment, they "fix" their winnings by betting on the opposite outcome with odds of 5.7. Or they use the option of selling their bet (cashout - some bookmakers have such an option), that is, they receive their winnings immediately, but less than if they wait until the end of the sporting event.
In my opinion, this is not a profitable strategy, since in this way you minimize your profit, but potentially maximize your losses - if a sporting event develops against your bet, then you lose it entirely without any compensation.

Cash out is there for a reason. One of it is to possibly avoid any further losses in a bet. Some might see this beneficial while some may not. I think it really depends on your standpoint. Because if you cash out early, the thing is you will only get a certain amount instantly, but the catch is it is lower than the supposed amount you are going to take home. Although this could help you to limit yourself in further betting that could result to series of losses so if you want to play safe, you can opt to cash out before the ened of the sports event. However, if you are a risk-taker type of person, you might find this futile because you want to risk big and potentially win big rewards.
1629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 30, 2022, 12:34:04 AM
Option B : Do you jump between different slots, play for a while and then jump to the next slot?
The same with the others, it's convenient to do this strategy. When you think that you're not getting any luck with the current slot that you play with, you just jump off with the other to test your luck, and so on and so forth.
I guess there are slots players that are also jumping from one casino to the other casino if they're also not getting the luck that they're expecting because there's the belief that luck might be on the other casino.

I think it's normal to do this when you feel that the luck isn't on your favor. I believe jumping from one slot to another could be helpful for you to reassess the situation you are currently in and will let you indeed test what are your odds in playing. But of course, this still has to be done in moderation. Jumping from one slot to another with a little to no mental headspace because of consecutive losses could also result in further losses in your part. Because we all know that playing and betting with unstable mind could let you lose control and instead be controlled by your emotions. But overall, this is a subjective matter and any of us must do what suits us the best for greater chance of winning.
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having losses? Or people are not going the right way on: August 27, 2022, 03:42:48 PM
Making thousands out of $100 in altcoin is so rare, that's why it's not really a good thing to risk your money in altcoin as a beginner because of its cheap price. Bitcoin is a safe place, where you could peacefully let it sleep in your wallet if you're planning to HODL after you bought in a dip. I started here in 2016 where Bitcoin was $500-$600 if I'm not mistaken, since then I never doubted it.

People are losing their money mainly because they don't know exactly what they are doing, simple as that.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: August 27, 2022, 02:49:06 PM
This is the reason I have not preferred to leand money from bank, also other places like online lenders, they have high interest rate and the longer the time the money is not paid, the more the interest. It is highly unwise to borrow money from bank to gamble.
I also try not to borrow money from the bank. I once got an offer from the bank by paying a small interest for a long time but after I recalculated, I found that the refund amount was bigger than the amount I borrowed. That's why I don't like to borrow money from the bank because the bank will get a very large profit from that interest.

That is if they will gamble without any experience and will only try their luck for the last time but for the op, he seems very confident to win the game because he got an insider info. He can try to take a loan and see if he can double or triple the money in an instant. He just want to make sure that he will pay the loan that he take immediately before he spend the money again in gambling because his luck may not be the same as last time.

For those who loan and use the money on other things and not in gambling, I think that's more better because they will surely see what they spent not unlike to gambling where there's no guarantees.
But the risk will still be there, whether he can win the match or he loses later. And I think he can get a loan easily, but he must be able to make sure that he can return the loan no matter what results in he gets later. Many of those people did not think about how they could repay the loan money. But they should think again if they want to use the borrowed money to play gambling because they will have a greater risk of losing.

Loaning from the banks will really cost you so much because they have high interest rate. Most of the time, the money they lend you will even be lower than the interest you are going to pay especially if you plan to play with long duration.

Regarding loaning just for the sake of gambling, it's really risky. Because despite having a tip of a fixed match, there's still a possibility that you'll lose if the tip turns out false. And if that happens, you'll lose the money you borrowed instantly. If ever someone plans to borrow money to bet, they must ensure that they can pay the amount regardless of the outcome of the bet. Otherwise they might face so many troubles later on.
1632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Day Trading be profitable in Crypto ? on: August 27, 2022, 01:56:13 PM
Any kind of trading is profitable as long as you know your stuff, you can't earn profits if you're just a self proclaimed trader. Day trading is complicated, it's not even close to what you've said OP, I think the one you've explained was just simply a buy low sell high process. Day trading is a day trade, obviously, meaning you're selling the coins you bought in that day based on your technical analysis, which must be really accurate to gain profits.
1633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: August 27, 2022, 01:04:28 PM
OP are you trying to say that is trading similar to gambling?
Let me tell you that when you use all your capital in one shot with high risk, then it is considered as gambling.
If you do same with trading, I mean increase the risk, then it’s not less than gambling.
I would rather suggest if you want to trade with high risks, then better do gambling and give it one shot.
My suggestions might vary from others here, but yes that’s suitable and more appropriate.

I guess OP doesn't mean literally gambling but this "take risky action in the hope of a desired result", this is the other meaning of the term "gambling", or to simplify it we could use the term "risk"(ing). Trading and the literal gambling however is exactly not the same thing, for me which I agree with. Gambling is simply on a different level that does not require any possible knowledge to defeat the odds of the game in which the house made. Therefore gambling that is luck-based should not be compared to trading, and not even the rest of it.

Trading is much more profitable if you will put extra effort on things that you should know before risking your money on trade, especially in futures trading. Trading is much easier for me than gambling, that's just my opinion.
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome a Bear Market in Cryptocurrency on: August 27, 2022, 11:23:26 AM
If you didn't prepare for it, you would suffer depression, frustration, and stress. Obviously, as a cryptocurrency person, you don't only expect bull market forever, so you also have to consider the bear market. The thing that everyone should do if they don't know how to trade during this season is to always have a backup plan, which is to have an emergency fund, meaning they should save funds to pay bills and food and other necessities in the long run while waiting for bull run so they will never be force to sell their coins in a very cheap price.

Also, having two or more source of income is a good move in order to peacefully sleep at night waiting for the bear market finally over.

First time to hear about this new NFT game, and curious lang den ako kung magkano ba ang puhunan dito or you can loot boxes kahit wala kang investment?
Lately kase, dumami yung mga free NFT games though yung iba nga lang ay hinde naman worth it to play especially if P2P talaga ang iyong hanap.
What's the total supply of their token or may burning system ba sila? Trying to do some research na ren about this project pero baka may idea kana sa mga tanong ko. Cheesy

Mismo, kabayan.

1636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 26, 2022, 02:03:45 PM
You can try it and decide what to do next based on the outcome. For me there's no harm on trying it, but don't let yourself eaten up by your pride that you need to continue to gain back what you've lost. I meant, there's nothing wrong in continuing, but make sure that first, you need a lot of knowledge about futures trading to make profits, and slowly gain back the money you've lost.
1637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: August 26, 2022, 06:14:46 AM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?

You never know what's going to happen next.

You wouldn't lose anything if you missed the chance on buying on the "bottom", I meant you wouldn't lose your money, just the chance on making much profit for the next all time high. Bear market isn't over yet, I believe, because it'll took again years before the bull run take over, if I'm not mistaken. The only thing that anyone could do to avoid regret is to buy every time it dips, using the portions of the total money that he has.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 26, 2022, 05:33:37 AM
They should, but in my opinion, it doesn't really matter. If they will ask it during the interview, it could be easily avoided, and they won't know if the person is telling the truth unless they are going to use lie detector. Also, even though a certain individual has no problem in gambling addiction, it could be develop while he is working in a certain casino because of so many things.

I believe one of them is because of an influence of a certain individual who is good in brainwashing people to make the plan get a high chance of being successful, like stealing casino money etc.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as my new payment method on: August 25, 2022, 03:09:34 PM
Such a nice thing that you have done, many merchants are yet to introduce bitcoin as a means of payment in their business because of volatility, and some accept it, but through payment processors; another drawback is the customers, many of them are reluctant to pay with bitcoin because it is a currency and asset that has an appreciative value, so they treasure it & want to keep it and spend fiat that is depreciative, it makes sense, but it is good to spend bitcoin a few times as you can. I don't know where your business is located, but your post sounded like many of your customers are now actually paying with bitcoin than fiat, that's not possible right? Which makes me curious to know how you go about it. Cheers Superdoctor.

Volatility is the main concern of most people who want to use bitcoin as payment method. They could either benefit so much if the price position the moment they spend it is high or lose if the price position the moment they spend it is low. With this, a lot of people particularly the businessmen are thinking twice about acccepting it in their business because such deed could actually cost them.

But right now, I guess more and more people are already transitioning in modern ways like this, cryptocurrency payment. Although some people are still hesistant since like what you have said, bitcoin is an appreciative asset. And spending such hastily could make them regret later on. Adding the fact the transaction fees and processing time as well.
1640  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: August 25, 2022, 10:40:52 AM
Inflation will be difficult to avoid any country, the central bank that does not have strong control of the stock and circulation of money and goods will make inflation, especially the strongest economic country, the USA also experiences a surge of inflation so that it has a direct impact on the world, and for us the best is to continue to add Sources of income with extra work or investment.

Inflation really happens in every country. Even the richest country has inflation rate. What's not normal is the speed of increase of inflation as time passes by which makes it hard for normal people to get by. For an ordinary working class, sudden movement of inflation rate could greatly affect their budget.

If the inflation will continuously spike instead of toning down, the working class would be severely affected and what more those people who belong beyond the poverty line? The value of money will slowly depreciate because of high inflation rate. Hopefully, the government officials in charge will take good action regarding this matter so it won't go worse. Because if ever, those people protesting right now will grow massively to speak up.
