261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies - Compendium of all Merit "contest" threads on: February 04, 2021, 05:57:38 PM
So people that are actually trying to get merits by just spam posting and such will likely never get the sought after Merit because the owners of this threads can easily spot them.

Nope, not all merit giveaways you've mentioned really investigated each and every participants. You can already see in their threads that the only thing a newbie must do is this and that kind of basic challenges and then you can soon be a bounty spammer and earn with it after being a Member rank. Again, there are tons of issues that arose with the giveaways. I can't remember where I have read it back then as it is scattered among boards. But apparently I am not a hater of giving kindness through merit, I just only see it as an opportunity for spammers to reach member rank easily... period.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Core Informations You Need to know about MCDEX on: February 04, 2021, 05:29:13 PM
I see you have a potential. But apparently you must grow more in your marketing, especially in this forum as there are tons of traders in here that wants to use various trading platforms that offers better user experiences and low fees in any trades. Note that great marketing strategies is the most essential thing to be a successful trading platform. Also, once there would be an issue with any transactions in your platform or on the trading per se, expect that many would simply won't use your platform anymore.

I'd consider trying to hold your coin right before the release of your platform. Goodluck!
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin investment trust on: February 04, 2021, 05:00:47 PM
Has anyone heard of the bitcoin investment trust, links to it can be found on Tor.

Has anyone invested with them and get the weekly returns?

Thanks,

Bitcoin investment trusts (based on my understanding), are just used by companies like Grayscale to be a stock-like medium that is backed of course with the price of BTC. Like mk4 said, since it is backed by a decentralized digital asset, dividends is not given to the investors. Dividends are only given to the investors of a certain company that met a certain number of shares. If you are new to it and you aren't referring to Grayscale, you better be careful before investing.

With training and all that kasi hindi rin talaga sya marunong magtrade nung umpisa.

With regards to op, marami akong kilala na sideline is this forum and some crypto related businesses and yung formal work is callcenter. Nasa dedication na rin yun at wala actually sa kung magkano mo imamanage yung salary mo. Best thing is to use your physical money always for necessities kasi naka PHP na yan at di naman tataas ang price nyan haha. And if you think you want to invest, just invest a little, wag lang mapanghihinaan once na bumaba onte yung price.
265  Other / Archival / Re: Binance Signals that can earn you 10-50% profit per month or even more. on: February 04, 2021, 03:08:28 PM
This is really hilarious. Trading signals that is required to use a referral code and a deposit assurance is really un-ideal.. You can just simply let us know your trading portfolio so we can judge your winrate than assuming of a 100% bold winrate. I joined tons of trading signals yet no one asks for payment. It isn't really for those that doesn't bother learning how to trade. And trading itself never assures any wins at all, as there are unexpected events that could happen in just a short period of time.

If at all you follow for a week and it goes successful, then possibly you could pay for the next week., Lets give op a try and see whether you continue or not.

You shouldn't just be settled on spoon fed signals. Yes it is indeed profitable when the signal is mostly right. Yet in the long term, it is a better investment to start learning how to trade just by your own. I don't hate this kind of services, I just want to let people know how risky it is to follow an anonymous trader and pay him without having a precaution that he wouldn't run with your money.

267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies - Compendium of all Merit "contest" threads on: February 03, 2021, 09:09:45 PM

I reject this way of thinking. Merit shouldn't be seen as something that is blocking your way in achieving a particular rank. Instead it should be seen as something that quantifies the positive impact that your post had in someone else's life or simply because it was seen as something so well made / informative that was impossible to pass by it without re-reading it again and again until you fully realize the amount of work that went into creating it.

So no, earning Merit is not an Herculean task, far from it. In fact, our community is so focused on rewarding good quality posts that they often do some threads where they will give merit to someone IF they so deserve it.

I don't know but apparently, this merit giveaways had already been an issue as it somehow changes how the merit system should work. Why? One flaw that you can find in this type of giveaways were I can do this all in multiple accounts then just simply have dozens of Member ranked accounts just because I know how to complete these tasks and I assure that they would really give away merits. Then the member ranks can now populate dozens of campaigns and worse thing could happen. Merits are supposed to be given on those that really contributes a certain point on an argument or an informative post. Not to hate the newbies nor make them suffer more, but the current system of the forum is already enough. I have seen a lot of newbies that even got full member rank in just months, not because of the giveaways, but because of the hardwork.

The bottom-line in this argument is simple. Giveaways just spoon-feed newbies and make them confident that earning merits with that is enough - as being a Member rank can already be used for bounty campaigns -- which can easily be spammed with dozens of alt accounts. Again, no hate given, just want to point my opinion.
268  Other / Meta / Re: Should all scam busting techniques be made public? on: February 03, 2021, 08:41:19 PM

I feel like not everyone should have access to the scam accusations board, or at least to well-constructed threads like the one by nutildah. Now, if that means that I can't read them either, that's OK. We have an investigations board, and that one is not publicly available for JR. Members and lower ranks. Maybe scam investigations could walk down a similar path.

It is going to be very difficult to make changes, and I doubt there will be any. Scam accusations are supposed to be public for everyone, especially for newbies and new people in crypto. But consider the other side of the medal that I mentioned. If the methods, tools, sites, and services that scam busters use to catch cheaters were better protected, it wouldn't give those same cheaters new ideas to improve their 'work' to avoid detection. They would also not know what they are doing wrong that gets them caught.

Actually, spotting scammers is a constant challenge. Every single hour passed, there would always be another idea or technique that would be made by scammers since they aren't imprisoned and freely lurking. Also, AFAIK, there are jobs that is really for anti-fraudulent activities by different companies and they train constantly as the technology innovates. It is not just the people that learn from the actions of the scammers, it is also the scammers who learn more (smoother scamming methods) from the mistakes they make -- somehow a gradual learning of social engineering.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: February 03, 2021, 08:12:53 PM
I bought a bitcoin what 0.0003 BTC last year November with only money that left with me when I finished my program and named it investments, many of my friends started laughing that my money has gone and bitcoin will fall and is out of surprised bitcoin moved to 19k, 20k, 30k and 40k, so I'm excited for having double of my btc within some months, I want to know if I will sell it or withdraw it, because is a investment money not for spending.

This is a critical mindset. Yes, you can see that bitcoin andd other digital currencies to be an investment and not for expenditures. But keep in mind that you must also balance on things you would invest on. Yoou shouldn't all in in a single currency. Invest not only in crypto, but also in stocks, in mutual funds, in certain insurances etc. Don't ever be settled to the promise that Bitcoin would moon. Yes it would be, but there are also possible disasters and events that you need money as an assurance. Yes, you can buy more in the future when you invest more and more today.. but you cannot have any future at all if you don't have any insurances at all.
270  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam ICO Bitcoiin2Gen featuring Steven Seagal on: February 03, 2021, 07:44:26 PM
This is still a possible attempt  Grin why is SEC so into this project? I knew the project since launched and I was surprised how profitable it become, those who invest early became millionaires in a very short period of time, I will never forget the name bitcoiin2gen lol, let's see how this ends

Those who invest early made money, how about those who invest late, there are few who become millionaire here but majority of those who invested here lose a lot of money, it's just right that SEC should look in this matter, it's good that SEC is going after those who create a pump and dump project in the market, it's stealing people's money.

Well fun fact, SEC is just now targetting this kind of businesses that were already registered back then. Look at XRP, they also accused their CEOs for certain reasons yet SEC fails to take a look at them at the first place. Yes, this is good that certain fraudulent projects are being targeted by the commission, but this also is a step closer to taking a strict attention to the whole crypto space. And they most likely to start on digital assets that focuses on securities.

and first of all, didn't Bitcoiin2gen already dead years ago? LOL. This is just a late investigation from SEC, again.
271  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to deposit to Betfair in banned countries 2021 on: February 03, 2021, 07:16:03 PM

I have a betfair account for a few year, however, as some policy modified recently, I cannot deposit to betfair. It is being too difficult to deposit money to Betfair now in some banned counties,
So any buddy have any idea of deposit money from some banned countries? Please sharing.  Undecided  Shocked

First of all, once your country is restricted, don't expect a good gambling experience once they've detected that you are using VPN. You can gamble with so many platforms and bypassing the prohibition of Betfair would just give your problems sooner or later. Also, why would you mind playing in it while there are tons that might be accessible in your country? All I want to clear here is that your funds might be frozen once they detected your actions, which is way worse than just playing on other platform.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football betting (betting at the start of the season or later?) on: February 03, 2021, 06:19:08 PM
I have been gambling for awhile now, I noticed gambling at the start of a season is more risky than gambling when the strong teams are surfacing. At the beginning of leagues like premier league, bundesliga, Seria A, ligue 1 and other strong leagues like that, I noticed weak teams are strong but on getting to the middle, the strong teams at the first five leads are more predictable about the matches they can win, though they can still lose but the chances of strong team losing is at the start of the season. So, I am prefering now to bet more during the middle to ending of a season rather than the start. How about you, which one do you prefer?

It actually depends when would I be available. We won't always gamble for a fight that we couldn't be able watch right? Some seasons do have fights that might be scheduled on days that I have work to do or things to finish. Whilst there are still times that I can watch every games from start till the end. Yes, you can predict just before the season starts, but it isn't really fun if you can't watch it progress. Overall, I don't gamble to just win and earn money, I gamble to enjoy the games while making money out of it.
273  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: txfee.org neat bitcoin fees estimator and tx checker on: February 03, 2021, 05:15:18 PM
just a simple UI/UX suggestion:

1. Remove the underline on the heading in the main landing page by simply using the CSS code in the anchor tag of it with " { text-decoration:none; } "
2. You can still show the fees I've had in a confirmed transaction. In that way your idea of showing txfees would not be limited only to an unconfirmed transaction.

~

Same issue and I think it fails to look up on the data on a real time txfees. A little code failure I guess that's why it doesn't change nor return any value.
274  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for quality Bitcointalk Thread Designer on: February 03, 2021, 04:31:14 PM
Hi,
I am Looking for a BTT Ann Thread Designer.

Please DM Me.

Could I try this?

I know that Jayce has wonderful thread designs and I wanted to start making it as well. I had designed my own thread with Figma but not totally a whole thread (coz I inserted some texts so it wouldn't be a flat image)[1]. So yeah, I would send you a PM and let me try having a draft for your design and if you don't like it, then its fine. And if you would love my output, then we talk rates just right after. I just want to have a little part time designs in the forum Cheesy

275  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An interesting thought about spend signature campaign payouts on: February 03, 2021, 03:49:15 PM

So, if you are in a campaign for a casino or if you are one of the ChipMixer people, do you keep your payouts sequestered a bit from coins you may want to convert to fiat one day?

I don't know if this fits on this Services board. But it is somehow better be moved on Services Discussion.

With regards to what you are pertaining, I myself is working for Futuur, a prediction-like casino which pays in BTC from USD price that we received on the day they pay. And one thing I am fond of is saving it. I'm not a total day-trader, yet I value the essence of holding a small amount of btc per week would make me thousands in the future -- an investor to be exact. Some people in here, especially those in Chipmixer for a long time, seemed to established many things in their life and I assume that most of them do also save huge amount of their income.

There's really just three things you can do. Save it, spend it, or trade it. Either way, it always depends on your position, your necessity, and your reason why you are joining a campaign. I hope I sum it all up.
276  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid to make invoices on: January 29, 2021, 10:50:42 AM
India is high taxation apparently. But i have taken just a quick read online. Have to check it out.

Indonesia and PH, i have to check.

Also, i did not say 10k $ per month, but per year.

Likely will be a little more, between 12000 and 15000

Sorry I misunderstood. If your income would be with a minimum of 800USD, the tax here in PH would be from 72USD to 125USD (rough estimate). And if it would be around 12,000USD per year, it might take from 865USD to 950USD annually. I've known how to compute this as I've been taught to manage my own taxes. If you would do a little research, some might mislead you as the 2021 Income Tax Return in my country had changed with laws implemented recently (in which is much cheaper, if this computation would be on 2020, the price of tax is 1.75x). Hope this helps!
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️ BCH.GAMES ❇️ No KYC. Unlimited Free Faucets. Instant Cashouts.💰 on: January 28, 2021, 08:48:29 PM

Thanks a lot for your ideas Insanerman.
We plan on doing a signature campaign indeed once we start pushing marketing.
Regarding the character, an artist helped us create one! We use it for twitter and Telegram stickers.

CHECK THIS OUT

Pretty cool right Smiley

It is so cool! Now since you already have a character, the next big step is to use it in all your marketing purposes and make it as your overall image. Then if you started the signature campaign and having a great and constant popularity, giving huge money back to your users is a good return to keep the clients and users coming and not letting them be playing only your games but to let them play it with some perks and stuff. Art contests is also a great option, more specially those merch contests. Those where just my little cents in some future marketing strategies you might reconsider. Good luck!
278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you check the code of open source software? on: January 28, 2021, 08:20:03 PM
I don't believe that people who say "yes" actually verify every line of code on every open source software that they use.

I voted yes and I actually do this Smiley There are open source software that just uses some libraries which is already popular and tested by the others so knowing those would already count. Then, the main code of a software is often simple yet turns to have complex when you would read the objects and classes that contains the main logic and algorithm. Practice in coding and even code development in general is already a huge step towards not having a difficulty understanding a software's code. Also, checking it doesn't really means to know it line by line, as most codes already have their comments and documentation before being published to the public.

Somehow, coding would make this act a normal thing for you. Because most of the times, learning to code also came from learning how to read and understand other people's codes -- which if you do for months and years, checking codes would turn to be normal for you.
279  Other / Meta / Re: I want to host a giveaway on the forum. on: January 28, 2021, 07:51:37 PM
I want to giveaway some bitcoin to remind people that when bears walk free small bulls start to show up.

Can somebody guide me about forum best practices on this?

Just try gleam.io. It is popular in making giveaways but if this is a market manipulating job, you might have a hard time allocating a huge amount of users in the forum that would risk their money to be a bull in a bearish market. Giveaways aren't really an option for this kind of query, unless you want to somehow shill a certain altcoin. If shilling or reviving an altcoin is your idea, having a better marketing should be your choice. Overall, this forum isn't really fit for certain giveaways.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: January 28, 2021, 07:23:11 PM
~

The replies already predicts the most possible outcome of this fight. There are no further argument that could arise in this topic. Canelo has a huge upper hand in this, both judging by his skills and and strength, and his overall stats, compared to Yildirim. Though the odds would return a lower profit, I'd still bet in this fight. But the tables might still be turned if Yildirim would prove something and work hard to his way up, we'll still wait on how hard Yildirim would grind and practice.
