261  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitpetite tumbler on: October 14, 2017, 06:34:54 PM
Anyone have thoughts about the bit petite tumbler and if its legit and how long it will last. I've invested about 10 ether and i am withdrawing my dividends. but skeptical about putting them back in for another 6 weeks
Flee mate! It screams scam all over it. Firstly, 3.60% and above daily sounds impossible and that is too much and they even charge you a fee for using their service? Which service would that be if I may ask ?

There has been so many of them in the past and I thought they have stopped since people have gotten wiser. They will only end up closing up once they have been able to see enough naive investors. Where they start usually is by delaying payments. Be wise!
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 14, 2017, 06:03:34 PM
With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?
The ball is in your court but at this stage, I feel it is too late already for anyone holding their alts right now. The time to sell them have passed and if you are selling now, you are absolutely selling for a huge loss. Unless you know that you are holding some shitty coins with very low chances of recovering quickly after the fork, then I would not suggest you sell them.

They would be bought back and you will still have you win and still get the little share of the BCG from the BTC you are holding. However, like I said, the choice is all yours.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best daily price of Bitcoin to trade on: October 14, 2017, 05:25:55 PM
Hey,

Anyone knows the daily reasonable price to buy or sell the Bitcoin?

I've some money want to invest but the daily price change is annoying me. I don't know what price is reasonable? Then I found this website,

http://digicoinvalue.com/daily-price-forecast-btc-eth-20171012/

Looks like a good reference when you want to trade.

By the way, anyone can share how do you set the price to trade?
Bitcoin's price is very unpredictable and it you are looking to invest, there is no point looking for the right time to buy. Just buy at any point you meet it and hope for the best. Also, if you have some cash, you can always watch out for dips and take advantage of such opportunities most especially if you have some fiats to trade with.

Every dip usually come back right up and even better with chances of profit. With that you can take back your capital and leave the profit intact for it to keep growing.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term investment on: October 13, 2017, 07:32:50 PM
For me bitcoin can be used for various investments. Whether it's long-term investment or short-term investment. Bitcoin prices as well as the continued development of bitcoin can make us take advantage quite easily. This is what makes bitcoin very attractive as an investment.
The problem with investing short term is that the variations in the price can be great, look at the past weeks and you will see what I mean, but if you invest for the long term you do not care about those changes in the price since you will always be on profit after some time.
I do not see this as a problem as it depends on each individual. For those who want to consider short term investments, I feel they understand the little risk that short term trading comes with and which is why they know when it is best for them to either move back in or just get out as the case may be.

As long as I consider long term investment, I still consider short term investments as well although timing is what matters and it is not always all the time. If there is a dip, i buy in and wait for the next huge break and take a little profit with my initial investment while still leaving chunk of the profit in my wallet with same cycle once the chance comes up.

Might be risky but it is usually worth it, and if you understand bitcoin movement, then you get use to it at a point.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC effect on altcoins on: October 13, 2017, 03:43:43 PM
I noticed that most times when btc is rallying almost all of the altcoins dip. and when there is a crash in btc all altcoins suffer as well. my interpretation is that for the first alts can't sustain the price against the $ if btc is high. and for the second, everyone is panic selling btc.
what do yo guys think ??
It's hard to accept this, but you're right, whenever bitcoin increases or decreases, the altcoins is at risk.  These still have many altcoin can keep the original value or small risk.

It's a double edged sword, you would think lot's of alts are down, maybe it's time to buy. On the other holding btc with it's rising value is attractive as well. Especially with extra "fork" money. But after a while it will all stabilize again.
I feel you mate! I noticed most of them have been stable for a while now and I have so much zapped them although it is still a bit risky but with the volume, I feel it is safe and I am gladly waiting for homies to get back once the fork is over to start buying.

There is a huge chance I will get more profit from those dumped altcoins than what free BCG might give me but I am willing to take some chances with some of the coins. Won't hurt!
266  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WHERE CAN I BUY BITCOINS?? on: October 13, 2017, 12:19:41 PM
I have an unverified paypal acc and i want to buy btc. where can you recommend or if anyone has to sell contact me?
You should be careful where or who you buy your bitcoin from so you don’t get scammed.
I will advise you check some reviews online of some trusted exchanges you can use around you. It is not a must you make use of your paypal account to buy bitcoin, there are so many P2P exchanges available that can help you buy bitcoin locally and seamlessly.

Here are some list and you can find if they are available around you. Coinbase, Luno, Remitano, Localbitcoins.
267  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo-receives-criticism-over-its-plan-to-list-bitcoin-as-bc1-if-it-becomes-minor on: October 13, 2017, 11:21:14 AM
It seems like miners and some companies decided to play the role of a government and dictate their will to all Bitcoin users. They seem to not understand that they are not in position to dictate anything - people can always switch to other services or just wait, it is they - miners and companies who need us, the users, because we are bringing them profit. The more reasonable explanation for what is exactly going on would be to assume that it's a bluff, that S2X will install full replay protection so companies can actually support coins on both chains and then they will hope that users would start switching because 2x chain would be faster due to more hashpower.
It is really high time they started knowing that. They just keep getting busy deceiving themselves thinking they have seen some gullible set of people they can wack into their greedy plans. Time will make them understand that the community holds the power.

For real, no one cares about them anyway and it seems xapo is cursed cause most of the moves they have been making recently seems to be going against them and their user base is dropping pretty fast.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 12, 2017, 08:14:29 PM
Hey everyone Smiley

finally the price of bitcoins is increasing and was becoming more stable but ! Its price is again decreasing now... You know it will be very nice if you guys instead of dumping them hold on to them...
Dumping the bitcoins in panic because of the fear of the price never reaching this high value in future.. does affects the price of bitcoins in a very bad way!
Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...
I believe anyone that has not learned that till date apparently will not be able to learn again. Most market controllers called whales are always using the news and media to make gullible people to quickly dump their assets so they can buy at a lower price and make huge profit, so anyone who deemed it fit to still panic sell, and dash them their hard earned money, that is their cup of tea.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: What Is with The Negativity Around Bitcion...... on: October 12, 2017, 11:01:04 AM
i agree, and to add to this maybe a lot of the influential people from the financial world have to be seen to talk negatively about bitcoin while they possibly dont really believe what they are saying
Those influential people you are talking about apparently know what they are saying and there is just one sentence for them. 'THEY ARE JUST BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES'.

Bitcoin is a threat to most of them and the level of disruption it will cause to the normal wicked and manipulative ways they have been doing things to their own benefit and I am sure no one will expect them not to try their best to push it down the drain. But as we keep understanding this gospel according to satoshi, then the community will keep getting stronger until they realize nothing can be done about it.

271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bitcoin fork on 25 October on: October 10, 2017, 08:30:35 AM
I predicted this incident could make the bitcoin price increase. fork is a thing that can make bitcoin weakened or increased.
but I tend to think that there will be a rise in bitcoin prices. this is still a prediction but everything looks real will happen later.
Who does not want free currency? So many people are already dumping their alts and the value of BTC is gradually and steadily increasing daily and it will increase much more even after the first fork in October 25 as people will dump all other altcoins as fast as possible for bitcoin. The much awaited one is the next fork which no one can really predict what the outcome will be like for now.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2017, 07:07:44 AM
It’s not easy task that kids will learn bitcoin easily first from the childhood we will make the mind of child about how to start working then after some time they will be able to work for bitcoin. It’s good for them because they will not go outside to make bad friends in society even they will start working from their childhood. If our kid is free we will start working for bitcoin he/she will ask about this and thus teaching about bitcoin will comes in practical.
I think it is before the age to teach them about bitcoin, because today the value of bitcoin is different and in their ages may be different from today. The affect in our lives, value, price all may differ from today. That’s why I think with the passage of time they will know everything about bitcoin as we knew bitcoin without certain teachings and having a platform for learning about bitcoin.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 10, 2017, 06:32:01 AM
I can also see people like that, they choose more to earn money than going to church. Money can change people because everyone needs money to live, this are their insurance that it will support them for a long time. Some people tell that money is not above all them but with their action, we can tell it is. We must put god first before money because everything was from god.
Yes I also agree with you. First religion and then money should be the priority in this world. I think money is above all things but not the religion. The religious people even not interested in making more and more money because they knew that this life will be end one day and all the money we have earned will be owned by other people. Otherwise in this era money is above relations and emotions.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: To be a millionaire in the United States is to still be poor on: October 10, 2017, 04:39:31 AM
If I am going to have a million dollar on my country? I will be really rich, I can buy a house and lot and also a car, and things that I want to. USA has a high cost of living, their goods is to expensive. Unlike here in my country, compared to USA, it is still cheaper here.
It is better that we are in a poor country that doesn't like the country of USA because in USA it is not worth it to have a million dollar there because of the high or expensive things that cannot be enjoy with just a million dollar. If you want to be rich in USA you need a lot of million dollars first but in other countries 1 million dollar is enough to have a luxurious life.
Yes you are right; apart from US other countries like most of the African countries people will be still poor if they have even millions in their local currency, not the dollars. In my country one dollar is equal to 105. Now you can imagine if I have millions of dollars even thousands of dollars I will be a rich person in my community. Therefore I think that having million as the US citizens would never be poor.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 09, 2017, 07:46:32 PM
No i see trading in serious way because i risk money but i take it very simple like if i lose in investing then its fine and if i earn big then its good thats trading so better to accept everything even its not fine,i try my luck here in trading in bitcoin and i experience so good in trading because i earn
I also find that trading is not a fun at all because it is a matter of money. The people like me who are working hard through their lives for the sake of earning money need to be conscious and can’t take any risk such as being linear in the financial matters. Trading could be a fun for those who have other ways to earn their livelihoods in an easy way.

Casinos are a matter of money, too, yet they are specifically designed to not only loose all your money, but also to do it in a fun way.
So, why trading couldn't be fun ? When you think about it, it's kinda fun to earn a living by looking at charts, neatly seated on your couch in undies.
Yes, there's risks, there's money at stake, but this is the case for any kind of job. To me, if there were a "fun" job, that'd be this one. Flipping burgers at mc'donalds is not fun at all, guys.
Yes, trading is a full time job and you really need to stay calm if you want to improve your performance in trading. Some people do take trading damn serious and lose their health because trading requires a lot of hard work especially if you are a day trader. I believe to trade once or twice in a month and that too without taking too much stress. Don’t just ignore it completely but at least don’t be over obsessed.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 09, 2017, 03:54:58 PM
For now Bitcoin is a hope for every user. many of whom hung their dreams with Bitcoin for better cultivation in the future, and not a few also tried to pursue wealth from Bitcoin. and in my opinion it is not impossible.
We can achieve this goal if we work hard and believe in ourselves. those who invest early in btc probably enjoy the success of their investment. its also my dream to be rich so i will strive to reach that although its not easy and need patience.
It is highly commendable that you are ready to work hard beyond limits to achieve your goals and make your dreams come true. Indeed there is no doubt in this fact that without hard work you cannot achieve anything. By shortcuts what you gain is temporary. Bitcoin is evergreen investment and still we have a great time of investing into bitcoin and making sound money with it by staying calm and cool.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: October 09, 2017, 02:46:13 PM
No, we are not dead without china. We are growing more strongly. China doesn't control major part of bitcoin. China can influence bitcoin but it doesn't cause much problem.
If China had that much power, either we would have been already dead or become slaves of them. No country has this much power to destroy any other without having a great loss and that is why there is no war happening around. China had a major role in crypto coin's world but it was not everything. It left bitcoin and the currency is still surviving rather making progress with more strength than ever.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 09, 2017, 02:08:56 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.
I am very open-minded but what drugs is it referring to? Is it those illegal drugs because i sure am positive that it is not impossible since it is the bitcoin that matters and it doesn't state what are the things that are being bought using bitcoin as long as it is not referred to. It may even be possible that some officers of the government would even bust criminals with the help of bitcoins, it may even be possible to track the site where the suspect is using rather than where the bitcoin is going to for security even if the government is involved. On the other hand if it is actually referring to drugs to be used or bought from or to other countries it will be a really helpful payment since it is not just reliable but also fast, so payments for shipments from other countries will be earlier. And even in local use it is also more secure, for example you are going to buy medicine; a person can search a drug store with the available medecine needed and already pay for it so that the buyer would only pick it up and lessen bad guys to suspect you are carrying a huge amount or even little amount of money that will let them have the idea to rob you.
Bitcoin is a great invention ad honestly, it is really heartbreaking to see people using it in the wrong way whereas they can actually benefit a lot by following the right path also.

If someone uses it in those deeds that will not harm society, it will be a great favor to common innocent people. This is not the level of bitcoin, buying drugs and guns, it is the light in today's poor world but people are using it for dark purposes.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: October 09, 2017, 12:00:12 PM
For me, right now bitcoin can not replace fiat. i agree with that!! but 2 decades from now (Worse Case Scenario) our community will use cashless or what we call peer to peer transaction so in the future Bitcoin will replace fiat and pretty sure at that age its a golden age, so early adopters will gonna be rich.
A community without fiat must not be addressed as a worst case scenario because it would be a more peaceful one as compare to the one we are living in now.

Digital currencies cannot be snatched from our wallets like common street robbers do for fiat. They even kill people in stealing money but crypto coins cannot be stolen this way. Bitcoin and other digital assets will take over the world in far future because speed will be everything then
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 09, 2017, 10:06:52 AM
You have such a huge money. $2mil. You have to do lots of homework on mining, trading, and holding the bitcoin as well. Trading would be good one from my suggestion because no need to worry about electricity usage in mining. Trading and holding bitcoin for long term is a best way to get some profit.

Holding bitcoin would be the first priority and second is trading since you still have to learn how to do trading so with that 2 million put at least 10% in trading because losses will be experience with the fist few months in trading.
It is not that a trader has to face loss in the beginning.

If a person will remain calm under tough situations, he may not earn good profits but he will also not lose his money as far as the money is invested in right place like bitcoin. Everyone is saying that it will increase till the end of this month and it is certain now. Sell out the asset as soon as the value starts decreasing.
