1161  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: October 08, 2016, 08:16:27 AM
Advice, tips, speculation please.

Honestly there isn't any guaranteed place where you can buy or investing in something and wait for a good profit. You have to risk and you can expect a profit or a loss but nothing is guaranteed, I would hold them and check if any ICO worth investing.
1162  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 08, 2016, 08:11:52 AM
Bitcoin in my country is not much popular but people know what is bitcoin and they see it from another angle as only hackers use it. But so far I haven't seen a large number of people using bitcoin.

Your mistake/s in trading that leads to loss of money
I think it will be the best to share your story so that we can avoid your past mistakes.

One of the common mistake that I made in the past is by putting buy order when the price of that coin is unstable and I went to bed and when I woke up next day the price got dumped and I had no choice rather than selling and take a good lesson.
1164  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other forum site that earn bitcoin? on: October 08, 2016, 08:07:12 AM
Can anybody know what are the other forum site that you can earn bitcoin? Can you give some link because I like earning in forum site. Because I am a wide reader what I mean is a book worm.

I haven't seen any other forum like bitcointalk about earning bitcoin but I have seen that some forums have their own currency and then you can trade those for bitcoin, you can check thebotnet.

1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 06, 2016, 10:23:23 PM
Usually it is but doesn't work every time because for those people that invested when the price was more than $1k for them holding until now does not worth much but maybe after a year or more it will worth if the price gets much higher than now.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 06, 2016, 10:18:11 PM
to me the future of bitcoin is still to good and there no thread to paper money, as most of the people of the world are fiat currency and those who are using bitcoin i think they only use it in trading and nothing else.

If most of people use the bitcoin for trading and consider it as an investment asset then the rest of them use bitcoin like the regular money they spend everyday, there are some factors which limit the bitcoin holders so some have places where to spend some not.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple Pay vs Bitcoins on: October 06, 2016, 10:11:48 PM
When you go into a store and want to buy goods. You can either wave your apple watch og iphone at a terminal at the register. It will take you around - 3 seconds.

Or you can pull out your smartphone. Log into your wallet. Scan someones 2D bitcoin code. Send them some bitcoins, wait for the transaction to be verified, and then take your goods and go.. total time 10mins +

Can someone tell me how bitcoins will ever stand a chance?

Do you want a perfect combination? Link your bitcoin debit card with you apple pay account and you can easily spend the bitcoins in 2 seconds if you want, of course maybe there will be a very small fee but i think it worth.
The big issue around those debit card is the fee that i believe is high, besides that you will need to have some coins to be able to go shopping with such card, i had heard some stories about people using a debit card anywhere, using their bitcoins balance to pay merchants, this is the future for sure.

Basically using these bitcoin debit cards in POS usually doesn't have any limit and any fee, but what we can't expect is the exchange rate btc to usd which here the company can get most of their profit.
1169  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I will pay BTC if user signs up on affiliate link on: October 06, 2016, 10:08:32 PM
Is it allowed to make a topic about this in the services section???

It is allowed because this is a service and is not an advertisement or spam like other posts that usually make newbies to get only clicks. Also you can put you referral/affiliate link on your signature and say to users that I will pay you x to signup here, etc.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: October 06, 2016, 09:57:56 PM
Seems like the price of btc has taken abit of a dip in the last week, any experts on trading here have a analysis on the near future for the price?
I'm thinking about making a small investment of 2btc to sell quickly when the price goes back up.

But im no expert on trading, and there is so much knowledge and information available i don't know where to start looking.
It looks quite safe to buy now and the price will rise before the end of the year?

I'm not an expert either but I want to give my opinion about this, if your money is staying and you are doing nothing with them then try to buy bitcoin, is not a bad time to buy because the price has been stable for a long time and maybe the price can be increased at the end of this year.
1171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Local Electricty company shut me down for mining. on: October 06, 2016, 09:56:31 PM
He is in Oregon USA iirc.

He posted a lot of posts on this in the beginning of the summer.  He felt he was being spied on.

I not really sure what to say since I am not sure about laws on your meter use.

8000 kwatt in a month is a big bill for a home owner.

Maybe he has 100 amp service in his home.  Using 8000 kwatts in month is 11 kwatt 24 hours for 30 days.

And 100 amp service doing 11 kwatt is very high to the power company as they would think he is doing 120 volts and pulling 83 amps

I am running 200amp service didn't think I was even close to getting flagged yet to that level. just spying

Have you tried to get any information about what is the limit in kwatt per house, maybe splitting your amp to 70-70-60 (in 3 different places) would worth?
1172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: To rent your computer? on: October 06, 2016, 09:52:13 PM
Recently I've heard about some services like www.kairosplanet.com where you can rent your computer and get paid for it. So, you have to put turned on your computer and someone else is using it for its own activities.
My question is does someone here has some experience with such services? And what if that someone is using your computer for illegal activities like hacking others or stealing someone's data and how can you know that?
Would you rent your computer or recommend someone to do this?

If I were you I wouldn't put yourself in trouble because they can use 100% of the cpu or gpu and make noise, heat etc which can damage your pc(s), at the other side we can't control what they are doing, maybe they are mining, maybe are DOSS or any other illegal activity.

1174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will price be at around $700 by end of october on: October 06, 2016, 09:36:19 PM
Currently price is trying to break $600 but still lots of selling force is trying to push the price down under $600. What you guys think can this October bring another good pump pushing price well above $700 ?

I'm not much a good predicted, and I like to predict based on the facts and from the general knowledge, and based on the current trending I can't say that the price will be $700 later this moth, maybe a maximum of $630.

1176  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: October 06, 2016, 07:59:42 PM
Hello, I would like to ask if anyone knows for a good way to invest Bitcoins? I am very interested in purchasing shares of a startups, something like bnktothefuture, but with lower minimums.

I am currently active on BTCjam, but I would like to invest in startups too not just loans.

Thanks Smiley

If you are not patient in trading bitcoin for fiat money or for altcoins then you should probably invest in ICO where you buy for a cheaper price a coin then with a hope you will get a little higher price after the ICO ends and you end up by earning a profit.

Thats what most of us is doing here in bitcointalk though. it still need patience as most of these coins take about a year or more to start gaining value.
Take ETH for instance, it took 2 years before it starts to go up. if you;re a bag holder it should be worth keeping but for those who didn't wait for it to mature it turned a tragedy for them.

ETH took one year to have a much greater price, I have been traded ETH for a long time last year and earlier this year and the difference was highly noticeable but seems that the crypto is going more on altcoins rather than in bitcoin.
1177  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Facebook page for sale on: October 06, 2016, 07:35:37 PM
I don't think it worth selling for few dolllars or more, how much are you asking about it, from what I see from the recent post is that there is no Active interactivity with the people who liked the page.
Take a look at 2014 posts and then decide

Nobody cares about the few years before activity because at that time facebook had another algorithm to reach the people who liked the page, now the time has change and as you can see the reach has been dropped to 1-3% or maybe less, but what is your price?
Its open for offer as I said earlier in my thread never sell or buy item like this so its open for offers just make a fare offer and its yours instantly

I'm not sure how much could this page cost because the activity is dead, the last post is 10 months old and the post before it is 1 year old and since then many changes has happened to Facebook algorithm. If you take offers then I start with $1.
1178  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: October 06, 2016, 07:33:43 PM
I don't often buy things online but sometimes I'm forced too because I can't find some item locally or I find very expensive, I do my shopping mostly on aliexpress and nowhere else because can't spend any bitcoin on any site like that.

That's great. Are you using CoinRebates when you shop at AliExpress to earn bitcoin rewards?

Well no, I tried first to earn these coins but after a day I forget to earn more so I end up earning only 1 coin each week or two weeks lol. But still haven't found any good place where people can free spend bitcoin and get a good discount.
1179  Economy / Services / Re: 0.002btc for a simple task. Android Device only on: October 06, 2016, 06:45:16 PM
Your task: Install the game app to your mobile android device

If the game app is listed in Google Play Store (not through third party markets or just an apk) and is listed for a week or older then I can do this task otherwise I will not do it because it can contain any virus.
