1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Used a Bitcoin ATM in a gas station today on: October 28, 2016, 08:31:21 AM
Saw on the Bitcoin atm maps there was a new ATM at a gas station nearby.
http://bitcoinbarrel.com/bitcoin-atm-map/

So I went to check it out:

The clerk said they've only had it a week and I was the first person to use it. I had to enter my phone number and get a confirmation code, and after that just insert cash. It even printed out a receipt.

I've only used an ATM a few times with this being the first big ATM. Before that they were the smaller Skyhook machines which were still pretty cool.

Anyone else seen Bitcoin ATM in random places?

Could you tell us how much was the fees if you have withdraw or purchased bitcoin there?
1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: October 28, 2016, 08:15:07 AM
For now, I can say bitcoin will not be dead a year after this post. I said it since the development of bitcoin still continues, it's users continue to grow as day pass by. It will probably die I think if the government have seen it as a threat in the fiat currency in the future but that happening now seems to be fast. Believe in it, it will last long now probably it will still last for years to come.  Cool

Bitcoin is the "basement" for other coins price, without bitcoin I can't see other coins rising or have success, the current price of bitcoin shows that bitcoin has a lot of potential and the price of $685 is just awesome for now and hope that at the end of the year we will see it at $800.
1083  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin URL Shorter ⚫ No IP Checks ⚫ From 3 to 24 Sat. per View ⚫ Coinbase API on: October 28, 2016, 08:10:28 AM
Seems that somebody deleted all the files on the server (it's not down) and the site now is clear with a "Index Of" page which shows nothing?

OMG 12 sat and captcha per view? haha.

Good luck guy

If it has to solve captcha then it doesn't worth.
1084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: October 28, 2016, 08:08:05 AM
What is the minimum amount to start as a trader?

You can start trade with any amount to trade and see how it works how the price changes and what are the risks(at that stage) but I would prefer 0.3 or more to see a little profit.
1085  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I convert my savings into Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2016, 08:06:20 AM
I am thinking in investing my savings into Bitcoin and try to get some profit when the price of BTC goes up, but is it actually profitable?

It depends on how long do you think to keep the bitcoins, if you think to make money within a short period of time then you may don't, personally I don't put all my savings in bitcoin because it is risky and I prefer 50-50 or similar investing in bitcoin and holding some on the bank.
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multiply my btc on: October 28, 2016, 08:03:08 AM
Hello

I am happy (or not) the possessor of 0.03 btc (so what? We're not all rich) and I want to do the work quickly

I went to see on poloniex but the loan rate is too low to hope to multiply a small amount and I'm afraid of trading because I do not want to lose everything.

Also I looked at the mining sites but its no longer pertains.

If someone has advice or references I'm interested

Thank you

_talmidiel_

All the methods you have used are worthless because cloud minings are not profitable or it takes ages to get your money back (the ROI) and you estimate that it doesn't worth. With that amount I would suggest to take a look at the top trading coins on poloniex and make a decision when to buy and when to sell.
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE WORST DAY FOR GBP SINCE 1848 on: October 28, 2016, 08:01:16 AM
Hi guys,

Is anyone that is good at investments?

Today I lost more than 20.000$ with GBP/USD.

So what do u think?

I have paused investing or trading because of the many pumps and dumps happening even though it is a good time to invest/trade because of the bitcoin price change but in your case losing 20k is pretty high, what amount do you trade daily?
1088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do caculate how many hours can i receive bitcoin transaction.? on: October 28, 2016, 07:57:48 AM
Hi guys i just want to ask because i experience transaction yesterday this transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/250c6f11f24311a67ca1a6f87bf4f46a86db2cf3f95680a1361fe84c4fbd154a
It takes 1 day before i receive my transaction and i want to know what Lock Time   Block: 435904 does it mean..
And how can i calculate how many hours can i receive the send bitcoin?

You simply can't because we can't estimate in how many minutes or hours a block will be mined. For example this transaction took 15 hours and this maybe because of the low fees and because of greater number of transaction on that time frame.
1089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: October 24, 2016, 08:20:39 AM
I thought it would be interesting to know if you guys use a bot to trade bitcoin or altcoins..

Whether or not you do, if you were to make one, what rules would it based on?

I don't use one myself.. but am looking to get one built, and would welcome any suggestions on features and rules that you think would work..

Thanks!

I have never used a bot and was never interested in trading bots because you should be a very good developer (if they offer the source code of the bot of course) and understand how the bot works because that bot can lose our funds by pumping or dumping the price of the coin we want to trade
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2016, 08:19:26 AM
People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Do you think that China is controlling/ruling bitcoin yes or no?

I don't think they control the bitcoin because there has been many other exchanges rather in china which have a great volume of bitcoin too but china is leading in this field and has the power to manipulate the price of bitcoin.
1091  Other / Archival / Re: What would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 11:40:24 PM
I've seen many people around bitcoiner who keep say/advice them to sell their bitcoin because various reason such as "sell before the price fall", "turn it into real money", "don't be fooled with that scam", "it's illegal to have/use bitcoin" or other reasons.
So, what would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin?

I would say to them that I'm not in hurry and I have invested in bitcoin because I wanted too, so since I don't need the money urgently I'm not forced to sell them and it's not the right time to sell because I believe that bitcoin has more potential and can have a greater value.
1092  Economy / Speculation / Re: [TA] Picture this! - Easy technical analysis reviews on: October 20, 2016, 11:32:01 PM
I would argue the first triangle was in a downtrend and now we are in an uptrend.. odds are we go up.

I hope that at the end of this year people will start spending money more than usually and maybe will invest in something useful such a bitcoin. These pictures are pretty tricky and we can't be sure what will happen and how the graph line will go at the end of the year but we are optimistic to see it green and high.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: So I made some calculations today on: October 20, 2016, 11:25:36 PM
Based on what can you conclude that it is very easy for bitcoin price to be 4-digits, these long number are far away from the bitcoin total market cap but I think that to have a 4-digit price bitcoin should be developed and adopted gradually time by time from different big merchants.
1094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: has anybody used Bitcoins to purchase a rapidgator premium account? on: October 20, 2016, 11:15:44 PM
has anybody used Bitcoins to purchase a rapidgator premium account?  When i try to pay it sends me to a page with a square with lines in it and a long address below it.  i have no idea what to do.....

The square that you call is the QR code which can be scanned by mobile phones and it give you the bitcoin address you need to send the payment to, the long address is the bitcoin address, what you need to do is to send the exact amount of bitcoin to that address and the payment usually gets confirmed in 2 hours.

1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think guys the hack bitcoin from bitfinex still not sold? on: October 20, 2016, 11:07:53 PM
What do you think guys about the funds from bitfinex do you think they already sell those bitcoin in the other market.? thats why the price of bitcoin is down or thats why the price of bitcoin is down its because they already seen the news about hacking bitfinex? an many people saw this news and sell their bitcoin thats why the price of bitcoin is down?

The amount of bitcoins that were hacked was very large and I don't think it's easy to sell or trade them, neither mix them on the bitcoin mixers, maybe a small part was sold but the entire amount to be sold needs time and lots of bitcoin mixers.

1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 10:56:43 PM
Hi I wonder about the demographics of bitcoin. Who uses it, race, location, gender?

I read the coindesk paper on it, but wonder if there is some other more updated documentation on it.

Regards

I think bitcoin is being used by any age starting from 12 years old and up to old people, but the highest number of people's age should be from 18-35 without ignoring the big early adopters and big investors which I doubt that are teenagers. Gender should be male and about location I could vote for Asia.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Megaupload 2.0 & Bitcache - Anyone investing? on: October 20, 2016, 10:53:39 PM
Kim became more famous after his website megaupload went down and the drama that was made after that. Of course that everything that is about bitcoin we are interested in to see what do they offer and hoe the bitcache will work, I don't think that is the right moment to conclude if it worth investing or not where it is not clear what bitcache is or will be.
1100  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What type of products you would like to buy with Bitcoins? on: October 20, 2016, 10:48:22 PM
What type of marketplace are you looking for? which one is still lacking in bitcoin world
Put your wishes here!

I'm looking for a site where people are allowed to order pizza or any other fast food websites and pay in bitcoin online or when the deliver guy delivers the order. Another one would be paying the swimming pool fee on bitcoin, that would be awesome.
