581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING IN UNCERTAIN TIMES on: June 01, 2017, 10:20:07 PM
Sometimes trading is as risky as as gambling if you didn't know but the only difference is you can get a partial amount back rather than losing everything like it happens in gambling. I used to gamble a lot and have lost 0.4 btc i know it's less but more me it's a lot , if you do trading wisely and don't get greedy profits are certain otherwise what you mentioned in your title will happen

The trading might look like gambling but these two are really different things, while trading we have to be really patient and not trade based on our emotions. Trading is really uncertain and things can move in bad ways and we don't have such a power that would pump the price back at our target that we want to make a profit.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest for long term on: June 01, 2017, 10:08:28 PM
Hey i want to invest in altcoins.
my options in mind are Ripple, Zcash and Monero
can anyone suggests which is the best altcoin to invest in?

I'm not good predicting the coins without analyzing good the coin but for short term I have seen that ripple is getting increased in the past 24 hours and thats a change of 20-25% which for traders is really a good profit if they have decided to sell now, but I think that ripple price will be doubled later this year which I consider long-term period.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DASH] Dash Price and Trade Discussion Thread on: June 01, 2017, 09:51:06 PM
Looks like DASH is getting pumped again (actually a good majority of the market is green). The price is currently at 139$ and rising, I have a feeling that this is probably the last chance to get on to a pump that’s going to follow the last one.

Dash price is unstable and I check more the exchange rate in bitcoin rather in usd so I think it tries to be at 0.06BTC but after it reaches this target it falls bellow at 0.05x within a short period of time. I have a feeling that DASH price in Q3 will reach $200, when the bailak dash miner will become more popular the difficulty will be increased but at the same time we hope the DASH price will be increased too.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoin goes down when onecoin release? on: June 01, 2017, 09:40:09 PM
What do u think?
Will bitcoin goes down when onecoin release(be legale)?

Onecoin is not a brand new coin that we be "released" but the fact is that the bitcoin price won't be affected or noticeable just because an altcoin will be released, there are many coins that are better than that and have higher chances to be more successful coins and they don't affected the bitcoin price at all, as we know bitcoin is the coin that affects others price most of the time, respect.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: June 01, 2017, 08:54:34 PM
Long live bitcoin. I hope the stress test or the number of unconfirmed transaction to be less and be like before with cheap transaction fees not like now which is not as cheap as before because now it doesn't worth making micro payments because more will cost the transaction fees rather than the amount to be sent. My thoughts for bitcoin for the rest of the year is getting to $3k as soon as possible.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: What power does Traders have on the Bitcoin price ? on: June 01, 2017, 08:26:54 PM
So, the captitalization of BTC reached 40B $ , this is nice but not huge at all compared to FIAT currencies.
My question is : with such a "low" amount of money, does the traders have real power over the Bitcoin price ? I always heared about the natural inflation, simply more demand etc... But don't you think that if a lot of early investors with huge amount of BTC could gather and have control over its price ? Or they are simply slave of the system like every one of us ?

I'm waiting for your toughts  Grin

I think that (new) people are buying bitcoins and this lowers the chances of others to manipulate the price as it will be harder but not impossible. Early adopters have the ability to manipulate easier the price and the traders yes have the power to increase or decrease the price, I have seen many traders or a group of traders how bump or pump the price in altcoins exchanges with hundreds of bitcoins which worth a lot.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins trading profitably on: June 01, 2017, 08:01:05 PM
I have been trading altcoins lately and of a truth I have not loss a single trade. I do follow my trading strategy 100%. I teach  a friend the same strategy and he has not loss a single trade. Have I hit a the deepest secret of trading?

Let's hope that this will get finished soon, congratulations on your win but remember that besides skills there are still rooms of luck and without luck it's hard to get profit and I think that you are trading at a right time when the graphs are getting green expecting some altcoins that are getting dumped yet. May we know what strategy are you using or share with us in private?
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICObazaar - The marketplace for all ICO tokens on: June 01, 2017, 05:20:01 PM
The idea seems very good and this is similar to Kickstarter or Indiegogo? The main difference seems to be the funding currency and this seems a bit problematic as the project needs XXX ETH but what happens if the ETH price increases like in the past month and the target in ETH was not reached but in USD it was reached a long time ago?
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 31, 2017, 01:00:01 AM
People who don't know about IT, computers and overall crypto they don't ask me because they think that things move slowly and there should take a long time until something in the internet like bitcoin (which is not considered as a stable money) can be so much successful as it is now. But with people that I communicate regularly we discuss about what's trending and what could worth watching and probably invest some money and saying the truth bitcoin is becoming trending especially after 1st April when Japan has accepted bitcoin as a currency, and here the pump happened and took most of the people attention.

592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 09, 2017, 03:26:06 PM
I always try to trade something elee until that coin gets up again to the ideal price after the loss
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 23, 2017, 01:33:25 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site Smiley

A very bad practice. It's good to withdraw your bitcoins if you are not using/trading them regularly or too often, leaving your money to someone else can be dangerous and who know when the exchange will be "hacked".

I even not have a time to keep it, if my balance reach 0.01 I cashout it to buy some food

If you really need them then you can't do anything else to save the bitcoins otherwise if you have other ways income then try to save bitcoins even small amounts.

Guys, I have sent you a PM regarding to the requirement that you are looking for.
595  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rush to sell is real on: March 20, 2017, 11:49:28 PM
@n691309 Nice to hear that you are not selling now, but the problem with others is that they panic after reading a lot of crap in the internet without looking at the current issue and jump into conclusion. So panic sell all over. This is blowing out of significant level, that others jump off the board before bitcoin price dip more. to at least recover their investment. I'm sure that bitcoin will recover and survived this heck even rise to $120-$1300 in a few months or at end of the year.

There will be always some that will speculate a lot or troll in some cases but we should check by ourselves what is really happening the crypto world and see what other people think about the bitcoin moves and bitcoin investments from big investors and those that have big impacts to the bitcoin. I wouldn't say that the panic sell is over as there is still some room for panic, it will take few weeks until the price of bitcoin can be stabler but it can take longer, I'm more optimistic that the bitcoin price will be recover and be back to $1200-$1300 within few months and probably within the Q2.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ARK] Ark Speculation on: March 20, 2017, 11:38:49 PM
Today the launch of Ark's mainnet was announced for March 21st. To keep the price speculations away from announcement thread, I have created this thread.

The ICO price of Ark was 3300 Satoshi (bonuses not inclueded).

Official Ark Thread
Official Website

The ICO seems that ended in the middle of December and it has been more than 3 months until ARK will be accessible to their users and to the potential investors who have missed the chance to invest during the ICO, still not bad, better a bit late and good than never but as far as I know there were many investors and gathering 1 million dollars during the ICO is a big success, let's not compare with Iconomi who got 13Million but if ARK team haven't spent the bitcoins then they have more than 1 million dollars value of coins.
597  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex: Suspending my withdrawals until Level 2 verification. on: March 20, 2017, 11:29:09 PM
I use a VPN service.

I signed up with Poloniex and deposited a fair amount of BTC. I only transact using crypto, no fiat. I exchanged some BTC for ETH, withdrew some of it, but then my account got locked down and I was told to link my other accounts (I have none). I have a dedicated IP address, so it's not shared.

Poloniex is now telling me to verify my account at level 2. They would like my passport number, pictures of my ID, all of my personal information, all because I use a VPN.

Based on what I am told, they will not allow me to withdraw until I have provided such information.

There are 2 things that I understand here, first it's not bad to use a VPN for these services but the bad part of this is that if other people use VPN too then you might have used the same IP as someone else to login in their website which the system sees that there are more than 1 account from the same IP which poloniex does not allow, or you have to link them to have the overall same limit like in one account. What is left is to verify your account, unfortunately, there is no other choice.

I hear ya, and like I said, I understand that Polo may require me to submit my info, it's just infuriating and I want others to be wary.
Isn't the threshold for no verification $2000?

Did you went above this number?

You said a 'fair amount of BTC'...

The threshold for no verification is $2000 daily but in the OP's case there is a mixture because he has logged in with a VPN and that IP might have been used before from another user that has been logged in poloniex too and the system counts it as there are more than one account from the same IP and probably there have been a withdrawal of more than $2000 within a day from these accounts, that's why they asked the OP for verification.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as primary currency in Norway on: March 20, 2017, 11:18:57 PM
Without solving the block size problem  is possible?  Huh

Don't worry about this because these transactions are very high (by volume) and are very rare to happen because of the overall value that is being transferred.

City Liberstad in norway has decided to use bitcoin as primary currency. They have said they would accept bitcoin for land sold in presale. They have even planned to give discounts to customers who pay in bitcoins for their services. It seems bitcoin moving towards its golden era of recognition.

When the give discounts then bitcoin in this way gets more popular and I like their idea, but if they are selling lands then we should think that these are big money which is hard to purchase bitcoin directly and without any high fee and by providing different verification (providing documents... to exchanges) and then to purchase with these bitcoin the land.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex = Scam exchange beware. on: March 20, 2017, 11:10:28 PM
Beware of Poloniex,

They use bots to pump and dump coins and ponzi schemes,  at the moment the exchange is pumping DASH which is a ponzi scheme,  they create these big pumps, attract investors who short them, them keep them stuck for weeks.  If you dont know Poloniex is designed to suck in investors, use bots to create fake volume.

For traders this is not something new or that they haven't before, it's a known thing and don't know if you have seen there is a thread here where a good bot is being sold for a long time, that's the C.A.T and saying the truth it covers many popular exchanges including the poloniex too. Trading can be very dangerous especially for the newbie ones as there are lots of bots in poloniex especially and it's good to catch the 0.15% instead of 0.25% because there are lots of orders within 1 second.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH vs Dash? on: March 20, 2017, 11:01:07 PM
1) Any main differences within them and what's their best strength against each other?

2) As i know block time for BTC is averaging at 10 minute and recently if you sent not enough fees your transaction takes really long time.
I remember i read an article about ETH transaction just take within 15 seconds and the opposite will receive, is that true? I only uses BTC to transact.
How about Dash?

Thanks!

ETH transaction are more "dynamically" as they get confirmed much faster than bitcoin and here is an advantage of ethereum comparing with bitcoin, the block time is shorter than bitcoin. ETH is also a platform where other altcoins operate into the ETHereum platform and these are known as tokens which I think affect the block explorer and confirmation time because if we want to make a token(other altcoins) transaction then we should have "gas" which is ethereum.
