1221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sig campaign recommendations for "members" on: September 22, 2016, 07:29:30 PM
What signature campaigns do you guys recommend for members specifically, i am looking for around 0.01BTC fixed weekly, like ICO had, but the campaign stopped 1 week after i was in. I have a hard time finding a new campaign that is comparable with that one. Any recommendations?

If you look about the rate then with Komodo signature campaign you have a rate of 0.00144BTC if you make 25 posts within 9 weeks, otherwise if you make more than 150 then the rate is 0.00048BTC, other campaigns with good rates are closed for new participants
But the rate is so lower.... BITAC maybe will be the best rate for me but that's right they're a;ready full in this time...

Where have you seen 0.00144 bitcoin for a member rank in forum, even legendary doesnt have this rate on other campaigns, if you find any other higher pay rate then go ahead but I doubt.

I think its typo error komodo campaign doesn't offer such huge amount per post, and i don't see any either offer such huge amouny per post for member ranks, and just suggesting for OP you should try to go to coinmixer sig campaign maybr they are accepting some new entrans for now, and bit ac is currently full for member slot.

You probably can say that you are not good at math and in calculation rather than saying that I made a mistake multiple times for the same thing which I will explain it to you. Anyway the post above this #19 explains in detail like in the kindergarden.
1222  Economy / Exchanges / Re: VERY LOW EXCHANGE BITCOIN FEES on: September 22, 2016, 07:25:30 PM
How a bitcoin exchange is 7+ years old and the account on the forum here is only few weeks old? Or how is it possible to open a bitcoin exchange in 2009 and it is not popular for 7 years? This fact worries me too much.
1223  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 06:47:20 PM
So after a while of earning some bitcoin from doing various services and signature campaigns, when you reach like $100 worth of BTC in your wallet, what exactly do you do with it? Just hold it till the rate is high and make some profit and then start all over again or what?

If you are not in hurry then it's better to hold them and see if the price gets increased or not. I prefer to hold and risk a bit because the price can also dumped and lose a lot of money.
1224  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: September 22, 2016, 03:19:07 PM
Who here doesn't care what happens with bitcoin as long as you can use them to make money, all the other drama doesn't really matter right?
All I care about is getting that $$$$ in my hands at the end of the day, everything else is irrelevant

Well I understand you, it's all about money but I also check what happens in the crypto wordl, i know that it is time consuming but I want to be up to date.

There are many places to buy bitcoin have you tried circle or through bank in coinbase but they have some limitations because buying bitcoin there can not be possible on some countries.

1228  Economy / Economics / Re: The new British five pound note on: September 21, 2016, 10:20:29 PM
You make it sound like its the first plastic note ever, to be honest, its not even as advanced as some of the other plastic notes out there, I love how your topic escalated to bitcoin that quickly.

It's not the first plastic note ever which has been used in UK. But about this the government has notified their citizens since 2013.

Quote
In 1999, Northern Bank of Northern Ireland issued a polymer £5 commemorative note celebrating the year 2000.
1229  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2016, 10:17:51 PM
I have lost few bitcents before on few occasions but these where my fault, The address was receiving few payments but the private key was already in a computer than was formatted. Had accounts at inputs.io and mtgox but no BTC at them at that time.

Well at least these coins will never touch the real owners neither will be used by anyone, but I have seen guys which saw vanity address and the private key in public (like the one in github) and started receiving money but in fact the private key of this address is publicly posted and everyone can use it.
1230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin mixer is your favorite? on: September 21, 2016, 10:14:20 PM
Hi, Which bitcoin mixer is your favorite? My favorite one is coinmixer.se. This site is very user friendly, and has 50% commission affiliate program, bitmixer doesn't have any affiliate program, but bitmixer.io is the largest mixer in the community.

How do you think, guys? Which bitcoin mixer is your favorite?

I don't have any preference which one is better but until now I have seen successfully three websites which also advertise here and are still runing good, and these are CryptoMixer, bitmixer and recently coinmixer.se.
1231  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY 5$] Install a webbrowser in a Specific folder (veraCrypt) on: September 21, 2016, 10:12:21 PM
Hello! i'm having some problem with the Browser. i've made a Libray in HTML which i navigate with a Browser (any will do) i currently keep my Libray in a Encrypted folder (Encrypted with VeraCrypt) there's no point for me to open my library from the encrypted folder on my browser since it will leave a trail. is it possible to install a new browser in my encrypted folder which i can run my library on? in that case there wouldn't be any trail left from the library since both the library and the Browser are in the encrypted file. (i'm quite new to all of this).

succsesfull idea/tip will get you 5$

Is this the same guy or you just copy pasted it? https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=160446

Edit: I think that if you cannot put any file in this directory you can't even install something else and store the browser files here.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin less evil than PayPal? on: September 21, 2016, 10:07:42 PM
I think when bitcoin have a more features like chargeback, it will make bitcoin more safety. Paypal have that features and get many positive feedback.

This is not what bitcoin users would like to see to bitcoin, especially for this reason I consider better bitcoin than paypal, in some cases it is good for the sellers but it's not good at all for the buyers.
1233  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 08:52:04 PM
i feel like today people post a lot of nonsense and it gives me a headache to read some of this. i don't know if would recommend this forum to a newbie. this might scare them away.

It's true that this forum contains lots of posts and that number is higher and higher if we include also the altcoins boards but at least we are up to date what happens with the crypto world and people get support here very fast for their face any issue with bitcoin or with any bitcoin third party services.

1235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Exchanges Question on: September 21, 2016, 08:46:58 PM
So, I've been messing with bitcoin for quite a while now and I was wondering which exchanges are both trusted and good for people who want to buy bitcoin if they are from the U.S. I have a debit card and I was wondering.if any exchanges accepted this as a method of adding USD to their account.

If you are from the U.S., what is your exchange of choice and what all do they accept method of payment wise and what personal information will they want?

Thank you.

There are some bitcoin exchanges that does not accepts members from unites states (Understand others when they see USA only) but with a search on google you can find that coinbase do it job as well as circle which accepts payments from usa citizens.
1236  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How much profit is Poloniex bringing each day? on: September 21, 2016, 08:37:05 PM
....
As far as I know yes and I found in their website Wilmington, DE, USA but the profit which I calculated is very high and of course that a good part of it goes to maintain the exchange and updating the security holes which is the most important part of an exchange.

lol
you do know that the address poloniex website lists is(whois search)
5 Middlesex Ave, Somerville, MA 02145, United States
which is just a virtual office/mail service
http://www.alphalandmark.com/

as for the wilmington DE address
(1013 Centre Road, Suite 403-B, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States)
which is just the address of their incorporating agent
http://www.inclegal.com/

in short, you wont find Mr. Tristan D'Agosta in either location unless you call him up and give him a few days notice for him to get there and pretend he has always been there.

atleast mtgox had a fixed address where people can see the owner walking to work with a cup of coffee to be able to protest outside of when things went wrong.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd0jMns_Neg
same cant be said about poloniex

I didn't see that video but seems better than poloniex, well if that is virtual address then this is not good but people don't care much because we can see the total trading volume in bitcoin and we can estimate how many millions do they earn each month.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin less evil than PayPal? on: September 21, 2016, 08:26:47 PM
I understand your point of view about paypal and yeah we can say that paypal is harder to use and to maintain the account on a good and stable because they block or limit the account for different reasons which sometimes are very unnecessary, but with bitcoin it can happen too if we use third party apps.
1238  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 19, 2016, 04:14:35 PM
I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

It's not only you who are issue with paypal, I had many times issue with them even though I many times wanted to not use it but still ended using it because it's safer than putting the card details as plain text. Try contact their support.
1239  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 16, 2016, 12:40:43 PM
Just wondered what age the average buyer of Bitcoin is. Myself I'm 36.

I think the average age of bitcoin users are from 20 to 30 but we should not ignore 10-20 and 30+ (especially those investors which invest millions of dollars in bitcoin companies or startups)
1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: September 16, 2016, 12:37:51 PM
I'm planning on getting a fraction of a bitcoin. Maybe about 1/4 or 1/8 BTC just to fill my wallet with something. Is now a good time to do so?

Even if you haven't bought bitcoin yet you can start and investing in bitcoin as much as you can but if you are afraid you can start with small amounts and increasing the volume later.
