261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He’s Not a ‘Bitcoin Enthusiast’, but This Single Factor Could Change His Mind on: September 11, 2021, 08:59:51 AM
@Oshosondy is right, who cares about this guy even if he is a veteran investor, I am sure that he's not the only one that can be called that. To be honest, we shouldn't care what this people say anyways because these people have some interests that they protect so they're saying things that's protecting those interest.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 11, 2021, 06:55:33 AM
Pretty sure that we're going to see this from happening, there's still a lot of untapped potential in NFT and one of them is gambling, I don't think that we wouldn't see it becoming too big though as it's a gambling after all but to be honest, I think that we will probably see a lot of these gambling part of the NFT games and not as a stand alone.
The hype that's generated by NFT is both a good and bad thing because if you look at it, there's more people that's getting into crypto but at the same time, this people are also gullible so they're likely to get scammed as scammers are getting more rampant too.
263  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: September 11, 2021, 04:36:12 AM
Good luck to that OP, isn't selling accounts in this forum frowned upon or does that only goes to the forum accounts. Also, you might want to use some escrow if you want to sell those accounts so you can assure your buyer that there's nothing wrong with what you're doing.
264  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: September 11, 2021, 03:39:10 AM
I don’t think it’s done by their fake accounts only.
1xbit is a legit site, but yes there arises many scam accusations only because of the terms and conditions.
Many new gamblers without reading the site’s policy deposit huge amounts and win by somehow unfair means.
These are the accounts that come here and cry rather than reading the site’s rules and make themselves accountable for the mistakes.
If you are legit and your money is stuck then surely you will get your money back like this user.
Wow, same narrative as any other 1xbit campaign participants, "1xbit is a legit site and that it's their fault that they didn't read the terms and conditions." Well, for me it's not a good reason to totally lock them out, it's still their money and they could've avoided the shitstorm coming to them if they just didn't lock those accounts. Yeah, a lot of "legit" people have their money stuck and they still haven't received a single cent to this day.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador Bitcoin payment option on: September 10, 2021, 04:36:40 PM
some citizens who protest about the legality of bitcoin in El Salvador just think bitcoin is not safe and is mandatory, in fact the government of El Salvador frees its citizens to use Bitcoin or not.  the president of el salvador knows very well that not all of his citizens will like bitcoin so he doesn't tighten the rules about payments via bitcoin there.
The problem is that not everyone listens to the government and the opposition is just too loud, you know how a shallow river has the most noise right? That's the same for this one. But in the grand scale of things, bitcoin will eventually be accepted in that country slowly because familiarity will eventually sett in among the people.
266  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America & Facebook is becoming a dictatorship on: September 10, 2021, 04:02:14 PM
~~~
I agree completely that America is filled with dumb people, however this is the case all over the world!  Our schools are among the best schools on the planet from the very start and our colleges are by far the best colleges in the world.  There is a reason that people from all over the world come here to go to school.  America is not the only place where people aren't believing in science etc.
Forgot including the whole world, I was too lenient with my statement and too brutal for USA when there's equal dumb people in other countries compared to USA but they get more news coverage since stories from USA sells more compared to say Portugal or Uzbekistan.
Whether you agree if a certain content should be censored or not, the notable thing is— the fact that they can and they're actually censoring content. The fact that they can use censorship to push certain narratives.
I am not that mad about censoring, it's as you've said, they're censoring to push narratives that can change the flow of the story. I mean I would love to censor or even destroy any racist or bigot and violent content in the platform but to go as far than that might be a little problematic.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Two basic things that can give you an advantage on: September 10, 2021, 02:08:32 PM
The second one depends, what if you don't have enough money to yourself some bitcoin even though the prices are lower? It's different because your life isn't the same or as privileged as other people. What your number should be patience instead.
269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America & Facebook is becoming a dictatorship on: September 10, 2021, 10:50:53 AM
I think USA has just more dumb people that the 1% can control so they can control the country. I mean look at the rampant increase of people not believing in science in USA, it's not a dictatorship, it's just that the country has just more dumb people.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: September 10, 2021, 09:09:46 AM
Because there are indeed many scammers who are even smarter, highly skilled and there are various kinds of scams... we should not lose to that, it's really about privacy that must be completely private and tightly locked. Learning from experience and adding insight can avoid things that smell like scams. Well, this is like the negative side of crypto which is like testing us to keep avoid scams.
Just be smarter than them and always be skeptical when the offer is just too good to be true, in my experience it always is. You don't have to experience being scammed because there's stories out there of people being scammed and you can always learn from them.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News: Ukraine has legalized Bitcoin on: September 10, 2021, 04:56:25 AM
if indeed ukraine has legalized bitcoin, you can say this will be good news, at least their citizens can freely adopt bitcoin, and can invest in bitcoin, without any more arrests of citizens who play in the crypto world, hopefully this news is true and can be published believe..
It wasn't illegal in the first place so it's not really that significant, they just made bitcoin regulated there and at the same time protect their citizens and have the crypto community in there have some representation.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things I should know before implementing Bitcoin payments into my business? on: September 10, 2021, 02:20:41 AM
Thank God no one has said to not pursue it because of lacking of customers that use bitcoin for payment. It's a good thing though that we shouldn't be discouraged that no one or only a few is using it in your area, the important thing in this is that there's always the option. For me, the only question that you should ask is if you're going to spend money to integrate a bitcoin payment or not.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saigon in lockdown - Community Fundraiser for Charity Meals on: September 10, 2021, 01:40:17 AM
It seems that the charity is legit.  Smiley
Bitcoin Vietnam is a trusted company in Vietnam and they tweeted about Baba's Kitchen charity there
They are Vietnam's oldest Bitcoin Exchange service operating in the country since 2014
We are in discussion in the Vietnamese local thread
Thank you for confirming, doing my due diligence when I get my bitcoin, I have spent a lot of them in the past few days to do some reinvesting. Didn't know that Vietnam was hit real hard because I don't see them in the news and most of the time, they're part of countries that had a good response to the pandemic.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My hardware store now accepts Bitcoin! on: September 10, 2021, 12:22:29 AM
Not new but it's a rather unique kind of store that's accepting bitcoin, most of the time the stores that are accepting bitcoin are food related or general retail related that's making this kind of adoption so it's a new thing for me.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $53k or down to $48k? (Bullish Scenario) on: September 09, 2021, 03:17:19 PM
Bitcoin price is now so much volatile. Bitcoin price is now $45.5k. In cryptocurrency no one can surely predict on them. But by doing some research about the market and the price increasing, decreasing chart some expert people can predict. And most of the time their prediction may come true. By seeing the past 2/3 months price chart we can say it easily that Bitcoin price will increase and it will hit $48k soon and can hit $50k+.
That's what's make bitcoin attractive, it's volatile and the market could let you down anytime. I think you have pretty conservative estimate, I think bitcoin will go up more than just that because if the patterns follow, we might see bitcoin go up to more than just 50k.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador has just bought it’s first 200 coins on: September 09, 2021, 02:38:19 PM
200 Bitcoins will not be enough for their whole population which is around 6.5 million now. But I suppose that their goal is not like that. They just want to incentivize people by distributing $30 worth Bitcoin among approximately 333k people considering the current Bitcoin price. Let's see if that will work. El Salvador must convince its people to use only Bitcoin in different ways not to let this effort be in vain at the end.
It's probably for the government only. And if it's not, then they can just buy again if the need comes to be. I think that when there's a big pump in prices and people starts making profit out of it, I think that it's enough for the people of El Salvador to accept bitcoin, let's just wait for some time.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interview session with store owner accepting bitcoin... on: September 09, 2021, 01:46:48 PM
His answer to question 11 is a powerful one, a revolution to break free from the chains of capitalism is a big statement that means that the store owner has bitcoin in high regards and that he believes in the potential of bitcoin to change how we see the world.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use the word CRASH instead of LOSSES on BTC? on: September 09, 2021, 01:09:14 PM
Crashes is for the market and losses are for the individual if I am remembering correctly so they're used in a different context so I don't think that there's no need for substitution.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Country to accept bitcoins is legal tender? on: September 09, 2021, 07:04:00 AM
Actually I'm also hearing that Paraguayan companies were now embracing cryptocurrencies, Entrepreneurs and investors looking at Paraguay for the first time.
As well as introducing measures to make Paraguay a hub for foreign crypto investors, the draft legislation this is really a good news to the country.
But that doesn't mean that the Paraguayan government is going to be embracing crypto. But I do heard of some talk that they will soon follow what El Salvador.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shall We Hold Our Bitcoin Like Gollum? on: September 09, 2021, 03:44:51 AM
That will be up to you because everyone who owns bitcoin will have their own plan about what they want to do with their bitcoin one day. If they think that selling their bitcoin can give them money to survive, they will do that. Otherwise, they will sell it for a long time or if they do not see bitcoin is not reach its target price. But I will sell bitcoin whenever it reaches my target price and try to buy back at a lower price if I can.
And it's also a good thing that besides being up to you, you also should consider the climate of the market, if it's making a really good price, you might want to sell your bitcoin but always leave something behind so in case that it goes up again, you will still take some profit.
