Tourism economy wouldn't suffer that much and any business for that matter if these businesses didn't just splurged their profits in filling the pockets of the people and they put some sort of emergency money in the case like this one and since they didn't do it, now the people are burdened by these since it is our taxes that is used for business aides.
Well, we all know how companies will not do that at all. We are talking about the same corporations who put their headquarters in other nations to pay less tax then have audacity to ask for bail out from USA, there are so many cruise companies who put their headquarters in Bahamas or other places like that so they could pay less, and then they end up getting screwed during this pandemic period and they ask for bail out money from USA, how does that make sense? Just because they have american workers in it? I am sorry but pay your taxes first.

If these companies all paid the proper amount of taxes, THAT alone would be emergency funding, kind of like IMF but for companies, but they are trying to make every single cent and use every single loophole for it, and when they are in bad situation they get a bail out money and pay tens of millions of dollars to their CEO's with it, bunch of greedy idiots.
I don't think that business are going to be doing any changes to their usual scheme, remember that their motto is to provatize the gains and socialize the losses. The problem with the loopholes is that they are there and they can be removed but the problem is that lawmakers get lobbied by these companies to not remove these loop holes and sometimes improve it even.
1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: May 15, 2021, 09:25:51 AM
Only time that I think someone gets shocked with the prices going down was back when the prices are still really cheap, I think that with a decade behind it's back, we shouldn't be surprised that bitcoin goes down because it will eventually go up. The people.who panic sell are stupid and greedy people that thinks that bitcoin is a money making machine and you don't want to be that person, have some faith and you will be rewarded.
i agree with what you wrote....those who panic sell, are too greedy and just think Bitcoin is the fastest way to get rich so that when the price of Bitcoin drops they immediately panic because it doesn't match their expectations.
They were the inspiration for that meme that I forgot the name was that was talking about how they want a lambo after investing in bitcoin for a day. The reason that they are greedy is that they thought that they can be the next instant millionaire like what happened to the early adopters.

we all have to remember that "Bitcoin makes you free from bank snare, if it makes you rich then it's just a bonus".
Amen to that brother.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip, and HODL! on: May 15, 2021, 08:34:45 AM
There are also many people who invest in shitcoins are those in the search for the “better Bitcoin”, because they think that Bitcoin is already an obsolete “boomer coin”. I honestly had the same experience plus the desire to get rich quick, but learned the hard way. Hahaha.
People who wants to get rich quick are the ones that don't get rich, I have learned that from some old people in my place and with those words to guide, I know which things to avoid in terms of making money. The current price is a good time buy some bitcoin right now that people are still irrationally mad about Elon pulling the bitcoin payment for Tesla out.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 15, 2021, 07:44:50 AM
It's already 15th of May and nothing happened, the price did dump though which sort of a prediction gone right. We don't know when will it happen but I am sure that bitcoin is going to go to that price point but we just have to hodl and wait for it to happen.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 15, 2021, 05:41:34 AM
Maybe because there are still about 50k USD that the market has to go through before getting in and there has been some bad news lately that got interpreted worst than it should have been and now the prices has to recover back up. And also, why do you want it to move that fast? There's still 7 moths left for that to happen so don't think about it and also this purgatory in prices is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin because if it really goes up then you will be missing a lot not buying amd accumulating right now.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like BTC about to make its next leg up on: May 15, 2021, 04:47:43 AM
BTC is moving around 50000$ at this moment and it looks like it's going to jump back to its previous ranges. Also why everyone is jumping around like Elon is gonna sell his Bitcoins..!! He's not gonna, I bet he bought more in the dip and increased his Bitcoin portfolio.
They felt that they were betrayed by someone who doesn't even acknowledge their existence so they are mad at it like Elon was the Anti-Christ of bitcoin market and that if he was to stray away, the market will go down in flames and will never recover. I hope that the prices do really go up but I don't mind if bitcoin stays on this limbo for awhile now since there's still a lot of time for it to go back up.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: May 15, 2021, 04:02:33 AM
Bitcoin can bounce back to the high price but after bitcoin reaches the high price, it will go down and make a correction so you do not need to surprise or shock if you see the price goes down. If you see that happen to the market, you should buy the dip and hold and do not panic by selling your bitcoin right away because you will regret it later, especially if the bitcoin price starts increasing and reaching the next highest price. The price now seems are waiting for a sign to start increase again but we do not know for sure, so we need to be careful.
Only time that I think someone gets shocked with the prices going down was back when the prices are still really cheap, I think that with a decade behind it's back, we shouldn't be surprised that bitcoin goes down because it will eventually go up. 1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Question about internet computer coin on: May 15, 2021, 03:22:58 AM
Does it harm that you get some of it while it is still at a low price? If not then you should probably get it, don't listen to bitcoin elitist in this forum about what you have to do, as if they know better than you, it's your money after all. If it didn't go the way you want it then brush it off but if it did then you would be thanking yourself that you did put some money on it.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin plunges 17% after Elon Musk tweets on not accepting cryptocurrency on: May 15, 2021, 02:45:44 AM
Honestly this is so rigged, we need an global agency to go and fight against such actions. First Elon Musk buys a lot of Bitcoins when they are cheap, then he goes and promotes them on Twitter to get the price to rise. Once the price rises he is just selling his coins with a nice profit. After that he is just stop promoting BTCs and saying that Tesla won't accept BTC anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts to buy coins again when the price is down to 30,000 or 20,000 USD.
Now we want a agency to defend us, isn't decentralized platform meant that we should be independent and I think that it will defeat the purpose of decentralization since there is an external force that is intervening. If that was to ever happen, you all better have some bitcoin ready because that is a good opportunity to get a really good profit because he will be pumping it real hard.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: May 14, 2021, 01:14:06 PM
To answer the question, I would be happy that it will go down at 10k since I can buy a lot of bitcoin at a lower price, that's like the opportunity that some of the users have been talking about regarding buying bitcoin and profiting a lot in the future.

Good luck with that, it's a long bull run, we are witnessing something that might not happen for a while again after it will correct and turn into a bear maket. Judging on the current price, it looks like Bitcoin will not fall at $10k again, but, with big market panic selling, anything is possible.
I answered the question did I say that it will happen? You seem to have some problem in terms of reading comprehension. Did I put some analysis that the price is going to go down to 10k USD that you thought that I was wishing that the price go down, OP had a hypothetical question and you should assume that some answers would be hypothetical too.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Abolute bottom of Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2021, 12:24:47 PM
How would you know that if it falls lower than 30k that it is going to fail forever? Do you have any evidences or facts to support the idea that it will fail when it goes lower than what you expected to be the lowest bar? I don't think that we will know what's going to be the absolute bottom of the prices until we arrive to that point.
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: May 14, 2021, 11:34:43 AM

1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Musk only wanted to transfer attention to his BTC mining bussiness - don't FUD on: May 14, 2021, 09:45:52 AM
That makes sense to me. That instead of being due only to the excuse of environmentalism, which I understand that it matters to a certain extent, it also has an economic component. He has already been fined for market manipulation], as I mentioned in another post, although I don't think anything will happen to him now.
Well he won't be fined since it is a decentralized platform and anything can go in it. Also I think that we are making that tweet like a doomsday prophecy which is a total bullshit and a waste of time, yes the price did go down but will it affect in the future? I don't think so. If he wants to go on a environment friendly approach then he should probably innovate on battery and energy storage so we can smoothly transition to renewable energy.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 14, 2021, 09:04:16 AM
This pandemic is strongly pushing us to consciously use technology as a lifeline....companies that do not maximize the potential of technology will only be left behind and lose customers.  workers who do not try to use technology will simply lose out on jobs and can't find jobs.  not only Asia, I think the whole world has turned digital slowly.
Businesses have to adapt if they want to stay on top and technology offers something good that you would be considered stupid if you don't grab the opportunity. I think that we turned digital a long time ago, it's just more clear at this situation since people are in their homes.
1255  Economy / Economics / Re: Causes of downtown in the modern Economy on: May 14, 2021, 08:21:59 AM
Covid19 is the great trigger that exacerbated the economic crisis. But the world economy is following its course at a slow pace and limitations because the working mass has been reduced because strategies for 50% work were devised.
For example, tourism is one of the sectors most affected in this crisis of the pandemic, transport such as airlines, among others.
I think it will cost us to lift the economy, especially in countries where the virus has hit hard.
Tourism economy wouldn't suffer that much and any business for that matter if these businesses didn't just splurged their profits in filling the pockets of the people and they put some sort of emergency money in the case like this one and since they didn't do it, now the people are burdened by these since it is our taxes that is used for business aides.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoins did Tesla earn from selling cars? on: May 14, 2021, 07:34:27 AM

They wouldn't post it publicly but there must be someone out there who used bitcoin to buy a Tesla car. People like to show off their success through the things they own like cars. If he accepts dogecoin soon which I guess more people owns dogecoin, there could be more tesla cars running on streets in several months. But we will never see any information on how much doge Tesla earned from the car sales.
It wouldn't be posted but we hope that they are going to see it still. Also if they were to show it to us, they might inflate the prices to make it look like there was a lot of bitcoin's that was used to pay for their cars.
1257  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin donated billions to India to fight Covid-19 crisis on: May 14, 2021, 06:54:56 AM
This will boost Ethereum's popularity with Vitalik doing humanitarian effort and 1 billion isn't a measly number that you just donate, I am sure that Vitalik thought of it thoroughly. And not to mention that this donation is also useful for him since it will be tax exemption for him.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: The change in buying and selling in society is the effect of the internet on: May 14, 2021, 06:09:51 AM
There is a saying "Laziness is the engine of progress!" Probably there is a part of the truth in it - lead almost all technologies in the end SIMPLIFIED human life. From the wheel, which simplified a huge number of processes, to computers, which extremely simplified calculations at first and then automate a huge number of processes that we could not even dream of! So, yes, laziness is the engine of progress! Smiley
I do like the quote but I think that we didn't become lazy over the years, more like we need more so I would propose that the best quote for this one is that "Necessity is the mother of invention". It's a matter of perspective, we needed to travel faster so we invented the wheel, we need to calculate in inhuman pace so we invented computer.
1259  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla stops car purchases with Bitcoin on: May 14, 2021, 05:04:46 AM
The reason why they decided to drop Tesla car purchases on bitcoin is quite noble and true to what Elon Musk believes in. However at the same time I feel like it's not going to help prevent the burning of fossil fuels for electricity anyway, so it's counter intuitive. I hope he has something in store that will help people trust Elon's words once again because I feel like he's a good guy in his core.
I do agree, I find the purpose noble but in the grand scale of things, it is just a miniscule thing, what everyone needs to focus on is that we continuously slow down on using fossil fuels and oil for energy and switch to renewable and nuclear energy. No person in this forum is going to believe Elon is a good person because right now, emotions are running high and they can't think rationally, as if suspending the bitcoin payment is the end for bitcoin market.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: Could science fiction based carbon coins save our planet on: May 13, 2021, 12:18:10 PM
Nuclear energy is used as a source of electricity generation it is possible to produce huge amounts of energy from a small nuclear power plant. The amount of heat that is generated in a nuclear fission or fusion process is used to evaporate water in a nuclear power plant the heated steam rotates the turbine and as the turbine rotates the connected generator also starts rotating and as a result electricity can be generated as complex and costly as this system is any kind of carelessness can seriously pollute the environment. Many countries follow this and fossil fuel based energy is needed to save the planet from carbon coins.
The problem with this one is that there aren't any new innovation in nuclear power plants and what we currently use are the old models that are dangerous although at extreme neglect only. Not to mention that it is expensive to create a waste disposal site for the nuclear waste since it has to be safe from earthquake for hundreds of thousands of years, the only way for us to be able to go for nuclear is that we innovate on the technology and waste disposal.
