261  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 02, 2024, 03:52:15 PM
I'm still on the fence on this one but I do believe that it's going to be going back up and stabilize for another month or two, I mean that's how I see this kind of thing, with people dealing wth the shock of the sudden price drop, they're going to trade carefully because they (bitcoin investors/traders that are hyped and thougt that bitcoin would never go down again) don't want to be making the same mistake again which might make things worse for them. That's all that I believe about bitcoin price this May. Best thing to do is to just wait I guess.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are USA's and China's ETFs "creating BTC from thing air"? on: May 01, 2024, 11:37:57 PM
If I recall correctly, China's experiencing some form of funding shortage in their government so it's only logical to think that they would do this because they want to squeeze as much money from everyone else as much as possible, I guess that's what you get when you've got a regime that's only reason for continued existence is because you've got a leader with a cult of personality and your cabinet is full of yes men trying to curry the favor of that said president. I do think that ETFs are technically and on fundamental level, created out of thin air, I mean that they're not really existent and they're reliant on the trust of the people that it's true and the vouch of the people that created them, it's just fiat with extra steps.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Inflation and Bitcoin's Potential Impact on: May 01, 2024, 03:45:20 PM
The price of bitcoin doesn't have any kind of impact to the inflation, the products increase in prices aren't even remotely connected to the price of bitcoin going up or down. Unless of course there's a study out there that will correlate it but for now, I do think that it's not the case. @Maus0728 is right, we would've known about it's significant impact if people in the position to talk about it without sounding like they don't have a clue what they're talking about are talking about bitcoin and it's impact to the economy but that seems to be not the case on this one so I'm sure that there's probably some way that it impacts the economy of a country or the inflation of the country but it's probably on the individual scale.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth is Energy know this first on: May 01, 2024, 10:20:47 AM
Yeah, the allure of fast gains is tempting but it's often the patient, value-focused approach that leads to sustainable wealth in the long run. I love the point about surrounding yourself with quality-minded people. It's like attracting what you put out. When you value quality and purpose, you connect with others who share those values, and that can lead to amazing things. I think focusing on value and quality over quick profits is a recipe for long-term success like here in crypto, but in everything you do. The satisfaction of building something of real worth is so much more rewarding than chasing a fleeting high.
Still depends though, if you can do the fast gains at a consistent rate but at the same time you make the money from it, I'd take the fast gains because that means that I'll be building wealth much faster. Patience is definitely the key though, no matter what your pace in investment is, if you don't time your sells and buys in your investments or in times that you do something involving in money then it will all end up with you having nothing but bad trades and bad investments. I do agree with what you say about the long-term money but remember that if the fast money isn't illegal and it can easily be done then there's nothing wrong grabbing that opportunity.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Harmful effect of robot to the world. on: May 01, 2024, 07:49:33 AM
That's a lie, if we know what things to automate to make our lives much more comfortable then robots wouldn't be a bane to us as we (and the media would like us) to think. You don't want to do the watering early in the morning for your plants? You can just always delegate that task to a robot, my point is that the labor that you think that shouldn't be done by a robot, you just don't replace it with that and you'd be fine. Automation is the future but we have to be careful that it's only the ones that are in power that would benefit from it and not everyone in the world.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you feel that the global economy is declining? on: May 01, 2024, 06:54:00 AM
In my country the salary is not lower it is rising, but the price of goods is also rising 65 to 75% of its price five years ago. That is why even if the salary is rising the salary is still short to support the needs of the family almost every year the price of goods is rising but the salary is not so poor will become very poorest.
They don't want us to stop working so we can give them more profit, throw in as much bread as they can so we don't have to get angry that while we can survive with meager amount of money, that we won't turn against them and destroy everything that the capitalists have built for themselves. I don't know much about global economics but I don't think that we never have seen any really increase in the past 100 years, countries that are poor are still poor and exploited today.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: It's better to invest now than to regret it in a hospital bed. on: May 01, 2024, 06:12:54 AM
The problem is that there's so much stuff going on in someone's life that it's difficult for them to be considering investments, they've got so much bills to pay and there's not a lot of money that are left for them to spend on things that they want for themselves so how can you expect everyone to invest? Sure they can invest in bitcoin little by little but the problem is that it takes a long time to do that and most people that invest in bitcoin little by little expect to get the profits early so they can breathe a little easier for their bills. Maybe that's the way to go but sometimes what works for you might not work for others, that's just the reality of it.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving in this economy needs a new minds set on: May 01, 2024, 05:13:21 AM
There's nothing to change in how we think besides the fact that the government and the big businesses are screwing us over and over and that we're all just taking it. The productivity has risen for a really long time but the salary hasn't gone up to any significant level for a really long time and they still keep saying that we're lazy that's why we get paid less when in reality, we're getting paid less so they can have more for themselves. Don't believe the propaganda that changing how you think about work is going to get you that salary you've dreamt of, it will never be the case, you're already working hard, they just don't want you to know that.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody is not ready for this fiat currency volatility on: May 01, 2024, 03:06:55 AM
Nobody will ever be ready, even those that will have the money to weather the storm, they're not going to be that prepared for that to happen. It's difficult for the fiat to be volatile though, pretty sure that when that happens, they would do something to make sure that it's not going to happen longer than it should because the government is also affected and when they're affected by something, they're quickly doing the solution that needs to be done. I would say though that most governments are probably ready in some way because they're the ones that's distributing the fiat and the more stable it becomes, the better it is for them at the least so in a way, it's an incentive for them to stabilize fiat in some way.
270  Economy / Services / Re: Forming Voluntarist/Ancap Dispute Resolution Organization (DRO) on: April 27, 2024, 06:56:47 AM
Can you give us an example of an organization that does this? From what I can glean in this topic is that your organization kind of sounds like those hostage negotiators or something like that or maybe a small claims court. I'm not that familiar with this organizations so I'm really curious how it operates.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Buy and Hold 👑 on: April 27, 2024, 05:26:26 AM
The truth about gambling is that when you do it, consider the money gone. Just be realistic that there’s every tendency you’ll never get the money. I don’t see why he switched to gambling if the 5 months were really good for him. All he had to do was to just continue with whatever pattern that was making him money. Gambling is best done if you have a stable income source and you have control on how often you do it.
It's difficult to control how you do your gambling habit is but I totally agree with you that the only way that you can do it is through discipline, no other way around it however I don't agree on the fact that it's best done when you've got a stable income because I do think that you don't need to suffer from it even when you do have the choice to gamble and not worry about the money, gambling is a pitfall that's difficult to get out of even if you've got the money to survive that pitfall, I'd say that gambling shouldn't be something that's considered an option when you have an excess money.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 19, 2024, 08:20:16 AM

That is right, we are not athletic people and judge one persons stamina by random 10-30sec video. People think it is easy to do boxing, but I suggest them to go a bad, put on heavy gloves and do slow accented  punches in same tempo for 3 minutes. Trust me, your hands will be heavy after and muscles will be pumped with blood. Now imagine you will have 8 or 10 such sessions and add that you will have to use legs all the time. People think it is easy to do even for a former athletes.

Now getting back to "beating retired people never give any fame" - why then they even agree to fight? Skip Jake and mind own business.
Totally with that assessment, how can we be so sure that someone's good at boxing if we're lazy ass couch potatoes talking about how they throw punches when we haven't tried to throw one ourselves, really nice words there, throwing shade on people that are all talk no walk. Why do you even have to ask that? Of course they've agreed to a fight because there's a money involved and I don't think that there's ever any other reason besides that, I disagree about the getting fame part though, in this case there's no such thing as bad publicity because when the people are talking about your fight, you're definitely going to be mentioned and when that happens, you're definitely going to see that people will talk about you and the brands associated with you.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 19, 2024, 06:53:58 AM
What did dude expect when he did this shit? Get away with it? He's not on Ja Morant's level of basketball so he's not really allowed to do this kind of stupid thing, it's a sad thing though that he's going to go away for good just for this kind of thing, I guess that's why it's not a good idea to be gambling when you're a player in any kind of sports, you risk getting this kind of thing and you end up missing out on the money that you could be earning if you weren't banned. I hope that they appeal it to lower it to a less severe ban though.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: April 19, 2024, 05:58:45 AM

Emotions exist in everyone.  There is no human without emotions. a robot is without emotion. But this emotion does not always harm us.  Emotions can help us a lot but in some cases it can lead us to harm depending on how well we can control our emotions. People always want to enjoy difficult things with interest and meanwhile gambling is difficult thing as well as it is able to give fun at the same time there is a chance to win a lot of money so everyone has a lot of interest in gambling this interest makes everyone emotional very fast.  So keeping yourself under control will be a very important task for everyone
Exactly what I'm talking about, you can't just blot out emotions to do what you need to do when you're gambling, if you get swayed by your emotions when you gamble then that means that you suck at gambling and you don't have what it takes to gamble. It's not that difficult of a task to do though, just don't see yourself going up to the point where you're going to be the kind of gambler that's after profits or chasing losses because you're never going to be able to win it as that kind of person and it's never going to make you anything other than misery.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: April 18, 2024, 09:49:31 AM
Not much achievement really, I don't bet on lottery or any of those enticingly high price gambling games because I know how low the odds are when it comes to putting on them and when you even do it, it's most likely that you'd end up having to spend a lot of money that the win isn't that big anymore compared to all the money that you've spent on it. I started a long time ago accepting the fact that gambling is never going to be a big thing for me and that I would only do it for fun no matter how much I try to win so I guess in that context, I've achieved the almost unattainable for many which is not getting addicted to gambling and just purely doing it for the fun and the sake of doing gambling.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: April 18, 2024, 09:04:18 AM
1-when you lose?
2- when you win?
I think that it's valid to draw line on both sides, when you don't draw the line when you lose, you're going to be spiraling towards chasing losses that would lead to addiction in gambling so it's good to draw a line here and if you don't draw the line when you win, you will end up losing all that money that you've won because you thought that there's going to be a bigger win out there if you just continue playing so it's also a good thing to draw the line here, this is a false dichotomy or false dilemma I think because you have a choice and there's no way that you can't do the other if you do the other too, that's why they say that gamble in moderation, that's basically the basic advise that clearly says the same thin as drawing the line.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is gambling to you, a fanfare or potential financial havoc? on: April 13, 2024, 09:40:09 AM
Definitely a potential financial havoc, no two ways about it, gambling is mostly losing a lot of money anyway and the odds are always stacked/against you which means that you've got more chances of losing than winning and most of the time when you win, it's not enough to balance or make it so that your wins are more than your losses and then the mentality to chase losses seeps in and you gamble away that small win in hopes that you can get a bigger win but then the impetuousness led to just getting more losses, that's why I stand by my reasoning why it's a potential financial havoc. You slowly lose your money and then you need to get your gambling fix so you start selling some stuff in your house and then you end up being so in debt that your only way out is the mercy of the people that you've done wrong because of your gambling habit.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal Books on: April 13, 2024, 08:50:21 AM
Please, if you know the answer to the question that OP's trying to ask, don't answer for the sake that this might prevent an attempt to hack a website. Illegal sportsbook are a thing but I haven't heard of any online ones, most of them are doing books physically, most of them operate on an individual level and in my opinion, it makes them a target for people that are trying bust illegal gambling operation, you can do this illegally at a small scale but it's not advisable to this thing when you're trying to make it big, more money means more problems for you and in this particular case, it's a problem that you don't want to risk your life away, the money in illegal thing isn't worth it anyway.
279  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: April 13, 2024, 07:56:48 AM

but why is that many people who is into gambling opening websites mostly casino always to get scam issues,  is that they intentional have the issues or not, because their is something I understand in this gambling websites now, they do be accused and any allegations lend by people to them, their is always be atoms of truth concerning it, so I believe that most of the casino gambling platform do have negative intentions, I did not meet 1xbit and betnomi when they were in existence in the forum, but I have read 1xbit accusations and truely those people are people of scam.
I guess they just picked the wrong gambling website and they ended up getting screwed over, we have to understand that some of these websites aren't optimized or built the right way, most of them are built by newbie programmers or juniors that have little experience with making a good website, most of the time these issues of funds getting stuck or lost is really the fault of having a really bad back end which is really scary for the players and when it does happen and the gambling website doesn't know what to do, they end up not knowing how to resolve the issue thus leading to those issues becoming a scam or I'm just saying stuff and they're not having these issues and that they just want to get your money and you can't do much about them anyway.
280  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: April 13, 2024, 06:56:32 AM
Because they are selective scammers. They didn't harm every user, but only a few percent, so they still have a solid base of satisfied customers. Plus if you remember their signature campaign, there was a large number of those who wanted to participate, regardless of whether they knew it was a scam casino. Imagine how many promoters, and influencers are not interested in their reputation if they pay well for promotion.
For example, I know about a satirical account on Twitter, Trollfootball, they have really funny tweets and a large follower base, but I also saw 1xbet sponsorship on their line.
But still it's really weird and vexing to me that they're still able to operated despite that but then again with selectively scamming people, you can easily just dismiss them as people that are trying to mudsling and destroy your reputation but it didn't work for 1xbit because they got to greedy and they've gone over to how much people they're going to scam, it's for the better that they did though because now, everyone knows their name and it's quickly associated with scammers and scams perpetrated to gamblers that just want to have fun. 1xbit and 1xbet I think is a separate entity because I do believe that there's times that I've seen 1xbet being promoted by some streamers and there's not a lot of issues with them so either it's a separate gambling organization or 1xbit is just scamming people on their crypto side. Good for Betnomi that they've finally solved all their issues afaik, hopefully there's going to be a restoration of trust because this is something that would be difficult to let go.
