Actually, you can. Roughage, baby. They're better as toilet paper, though - but don't flush 'em, they'll clog the drain.
Har har well, I wouldn't recommend it Unless you're a billy goat, in which case, carry on. I don't know about the caloric value of a dollar but I assume it's not high enough to sustain you for long.

The fact this guy got 93 thumbs up is fucking appalling. 49% of the population is of below average intelligence. It's Krugman's fan base. I just can't believe people line up to get fleeced like this. I don't understand the herd mentality. Most people know they're getting fucked, that their banks are literally fucking them, and then they turn around and say they don't want to do anything about it, and continue to use the very cash the banks put out. It's just madness. Tell me this is a really bad dream and I just need to wake up.

I like "Green Pieces of Paper" especially when the electric power fails; the ones, twos, and fives etc. continue to be accepted at the fast food places and supermarket. Humans cannot eat gold, silver, or "Bitcoins". AND YOU CAN'T EAT GREEN PIECES OF PAPER, EITHER.
CAN I GET A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF THE FLUFFIEST SHEEP AWARD?The fact this guy got 93 thumbs up is fucking appalling. /wrists

I wouldn't mind if people were buying and selling land. It's when they buy and sell land, and you still have to pay a tax to exist on it, because someone else already owns all the land and you're just trading a piece of paper. You cannot live without a place to exist. Why don't we just section off portions of the sky, claim state ownership, and then charge a breathing tax? That's what land tax is. It's a tax for existing at all.
How much does the state pay the state for its land? Oh wait, that's right, they're the ones charging rent. Good thing that tax goes right back to us--oh wait, that's right.

For the same reason I used to think it isn't but now I think it indeed is. BITCOIN is the Apocalypse!!! But look up what Apocalypse actually means: "disclosure of knowledge, hidden from humanity in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception". Bitcoin will force all the hidden players to come out and show their true faces. Makes perfect sense to me. Huh! Now I see why the media portrays the apocalypse as a nuclear wasteland; if people realized the end of the world as we know it would be a good thing, it really would be the apocalypse.

So: The Israeli government cannot possibly legitimze itself on territories which were not granted by the United Nations ?
Please be clear in your answer. Thank you, Sir.
I don't think they're legitimate period. You don't declare land as yours and then expect everyone to agree with you. Law is just a lie, the word of God, to make your actions appear appropriate. Law or no law, it's all a mind game. If Israel wants land, it's because it wants to expand and become more powerful. They can pretend to be civilized, but it's the same shit that's been happening for thousands of years. This is a chicken-and-egg problem. chickens exist, governments are legal.
On the contrary, eggs exist, governments are legal. Chickens came first, and so did anarchy.

It means an illegitimate body is writing the word on legitimacy. It's only illegal in the same way a king coming over, taking over your property, claiming it's his, and setting up rules is illegal. They just decided to make the king be electable by a representable body, and put term limits on him. So, really, by your definition, almost no government would be legal.
I agree. No government can legitimize itself. And it's not my definition; my professor's the one who made the connection.

That is the one I remember. But since this math trick works on any text, many newly discovered "secrets" have been noticed by changing some of the parameters. If true, then God has hidden messages in every book ever written. Also, if you play some songs backwards, you can interpret the gibberish as Satanic messages.

I just learned in class today that the American government we know and love today is actually illegal. Funny how that's never been brought up before, in my entire 21 years of living.
explain!? i smell bullshit, a government can't logically be illegal, because they make the rules. one government can call another government illegal, but that does not count. When they decided the confederacy wasn't working out (as I've come to understand, this is as close to anarchism as has ever been attained in America,) they convened in Philadelphia to make some amendments. When they couldn't find a unanimous vote, they decided the system would never work out. These people only had permission from the general public to convene to change the articles of confederation, and were not given permission to throw their government away and invent a completely new one without anyone else's consent. Thus, the constitution was born, and it was illegal for it to exist. It still is.

Government does everything badly. It's a monopoly. Monopolies always give the worst service for the highest price.
wrong. The government is for the people by the people, and people have absolutely no interest in providing bad service. In America, it's by the wealthy, for the wealthy. They just keep the sheep and cattle happy by making them think they're apart of their game. Surprise: America is not the whole world. Surprise: Your world is not encompassed by America. Guess what happens when you're born American? Is it: A. You get a free stab at the country you want to live in Or B. You're fucked. Please tell us, kokjo, about this universal government you're referring to that you appear to exist in.

Yeah a few sub-forums would be nice in there. Just like how the alternate currencies could do well in splitting up into Litecoin, Ripple, etc.

People crave approval I'm guilty of this myself. Sometimes I'll go to certain websites and post tidbits of stories I'm writing, to see if people like them or not before continuing.

And once again, the gigantic boner of men with this disturbing fetish for absolute control springs into action. Say no to government regulation, kiddos. Regulation does nothing but rig the game in someone's else's favor--specifically, not yours. The market is being regulated, and we're the ones doing it. Don't give up your freedoms for the false promise of stability.

The government is always legitimate; and if what they're doing is not legitimate, they'll pass a law to make it legitimate. After the Patriot Act, I don't see how the government could ever do wrong It is, after all, legal for them to do whatever it takes to get those gosh golly-gee-wiz dang-darned terrorists.
