3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW PPCCOIN FAUCET pays hourly on: April 02, 2013, 08:27:14 PM
Seems like an interesting coin.  I noticed all the altcoins are steadily increasing in popularity; since BTC is getting more expensive to get, I'd expect the altcoins to really make leaps and bounds from this point out.
3322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temporary BTE Trade/Bounty/Speculation Thread on: April 02, 2013, 08:02:57 PM
I really wanna participate but neither of the wallet software work on this computer.  So I'll probably be trading tonight Tongue

Capitalism is a bubble.

3325  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: My KickStarter project was declined - so I modified and resubmitted. on: April 02, 2013, 06:51:25 PM
You wanted to KickStart an app I'm assuming?  Shouldn't you really have some background in iOS dev in that case?  Tongue

Btw what's the link?
3326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cold Storage Methods For LTC and BTC on: April 02, 2013, 06:50:25 PM
Paper wallets seem to be pretty cool.  You can hide the paper in a little safe and then nobody can get your coins.  Personally, I don't trust storing them on any kind of electronic device.  It just bugs me.  Paper sticks around for a loooong time.

Maybe this will be a new attack against BTC. Muddy the waters with every conceivable wannabe coin and nobody will ever take any of them seriously.

I agree.

By the way I'm going to release Christcoin soon, think I'll get any takers?

Also:  JESUS, I was about to buy a whole bunch of cheap litecoins.  I hope the price goes back down because this is BULL Tongue

I can't blame mtgox for trading like the other multi-currency exchanges to make fees. How will it ever be considered a legitimate currency when it's just one of a plethora of cryptocurrencies?

Plethora?  We can never have enough altcoins Grin

Deja vu Wink
3330  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who Watches Cable News? Almost No One on: April 02, 2013, 03:56:41 PM
Internet.

That's why they're trying to kill Netflix and Hulu Tongue  Why pay $100 a month for cable and Internet when you can pay ~$65 a month for Internet and video services.  It's the natural order; a service becomes obsolete (TV) and those with a huge stake in it bitch and whine about profits.

Try as you might, you'll get your arm twisted by America one way or another.

And here is a perfect example of why our system of governance falls flat on its face.  Government: because screw the market, I can win by throwing money at daddy.

Perfect counter-argument: your loss.  And then you'd drive away in your Ferrari.

It works better in person.
