2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT a trustable? on: November 15, 2021, 09:54:21 PM
In later days parcels of awful news are hearing from USDT and what will be happen on the off chance that the USDT could be a scam, should i alter other steady coin, any recommendation for the steady coin?

From what I know, USDT has been around for as long as I can remember considering it was the very first stablecoin and despite all the complaints and bad news about tether, it has still remained the #1 stablecoin. Over the years, other alternatives have emerged but I still use usdt more than any other stablecoin because it has far more support and integration than any other stablecoin. That's something to keep in mind.

If the OP is worried about the future of USDT, he can always opt to other stablecoin like DAI.
It is not new that there are bad news regarding the existence of USDT.
The first time that I got hesitant with this stable coin was when they admitted not to be fully backed by USD assets.
But I am still using it only for conversion purposes in exchanges as they are available in most trading platforms, not for long term investments.
Maybe, for day to day trading, you can use it. But long-term holding? That's when you need to really think about.
2702  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: November 15, 2021, 09:25:51 PM
Just tried to create an account and found that I have to enter my date of birth during registration. How you are addressing it as ‘Anonymity’ while players need to enter their date of birth? Moreover, in the terms and conditions it is stated that

You may set any date of birth. Verification is not required so we will not ever ask you to confirm your DOB somehow.

This is the responsibility of the casino to give a full list of the restricted countries. And all other casino does it in their T&C page. But it's different in your casino. Suggest your boss to give a list of the restricted countries.

Those T&C were taken from another our brand and will be changed soon. All countries are welcome, no restrictions.

Why not just remove this option of setting your date of birth upon creating account? Since verification is not required.
Also, at first I thought the casino is a dedicated ltc one because of the name but they have other alt payment options.
Why chose ltccasino as name? Just curious here why use the name of LTC but employing several alts also.

3. Instant cashouts. You may withdraw your winnings instantly with no any security checks, verifications etc.

Shouldn't you be aware of money laundering? If you won't check specially those high amount withdrawal, your site might be good for people that launders money. I think if you have gambling license you will be opt to fight against these illegal transactions.

Welcome to the forum! I like the responsiveness of the site and how it looks like in mobile mode.

This may change if they will apply for gambling license in the future.
But for those who want to test this site, maybe, test it with small funds first.
2703  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto start-ups receiving copious funding on: November 15, 2021, 08:44:06 PM
Now one must understand the fact that:
About 90% of the start-ups ends in failure
(Stats taken from google) which does mean that investing in a startup is immensely risky. Even more when we are talking about crypto based projects. There are around 317 crypto based startups around the world ( data taken from google) which are more or so functioning at a stable level. But at the end of the day, one cannot ignore the failure aspect hands down.

In the end of the day, the world will only remember the startup that made it huge though. There are tons of startup that tries to achieve what facebook does, uber and all others succesfull startup but no one will really remember them because they didnt make it. Investing in startup is pretty much speculative investment already so either its a startup on crypto space or not, it doesnt really matter

That's exactly why I don't really trust start-ups because we never know which one to trust ?? It's always a risky space, an unsafe area

Which is why it is speculative, if it works then you are going to get insane return from it

Only few of these start-ups can hit it off in the market. Most of them will die down without entering into the mainstream.
So yes, some of these investors will be burnt out as some of the team can't deliver their targets.
We will only count from our fingers those that will be successful and known to the market.
That's the risk of putting your money to these start-ups, you should know how to gauge your possibility of winning and losing once you see their pitches in public.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 15, 2021, 08:05:00 PM
-Development of Risk taking ability; to win big in life, you must be willing to try, and gamblers have so developed their risk taking ability.
This was the way that got me addicted, gambling should not be about winning big in life, it should be about fun and entertaining. I found good mind when I found gamble as just a way to have fun, this helped me to cure my addiction.

Development of the ability to quickly let go of things and move on
Not a good ability, it is a way to addiction. This was what was happening to me when I was addicted. Now I am using the money I will not even think about if I lose it to gambling because I use very little amount of money that is affordable for me. If I lose just that chicken chnage, I am still happy.

Positive mentality
I have positive thinking more about my business with little risks not gambling. I do not take gamble seriously.

Consistency/ Not quiting attitude
I don't take gambling serious, then I can no more quit like when I was addicted, to help me deal with the addiction at that time.

Great to hear from your personal experience and give your inputs regarding this topic.
Addiction is a serious matter so I'm glad you are out of that situation.
Not many people can overcome such situation. Maybe, for the wrong approach how to address their problem.
There are positive attitudes that you can get from gambling, but you should know when to stop and how to use it, and not get too deep in this habit.
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 💵💵💵 Crypto Exchanger 💵💵💵 Exchange any amount of cryptocurrency on: November 15, 2021, 07:13:58 PM
This ANN has been posted for about couple of weeks already.
So no one so far has used their services?
Also, I saw the bestchange logo on their site, is this exchange part of the list of exchanges in bestchange?

The problem that I am seeing here, is that if no registration is required to do the trading, it would be hard for the user to make a complaint if in case his transaction is not successful or has some issues.
I have never used this kind of service, so don't know how this will attract traders.

Discussing about his personal wealth should be avoided because its completely irrelevant to the topic.

How do you differentiate between his personal wealth and his business balance sheets? If I remember correctly, I think I saw somewhere that he made his cold storage addresses public, so it's not a secret.

He is running this as a business for very long time so it should be professional in all the aspects no matter he is a big whale and accumulated hundreds or millions of Bitcoins in the early stage, I just wanted to say he should clarify things then only he can retain the reputation which took almost a decade to built.

Building your reputation to the community would take years and years to establish.
But it is up to the person himself how he will take care of such reputation.
Now, it is up to the players/investors how they will react on situation like this.
Are they going to stick to the business or just move on and find another platform?
2707  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multidice.io | The multi-currency dice game | 35+ cryptos on: November 15, 2021, 05:40:41 PM
~snip
I really like gambling sites that provide a "bankroll" feature on their site because those involved in playing are not only players but also investors. because your site is still very new and your reputation has not been built strong then you have to be patient to get a lot of users, good luck multidice team.

I am curious if it is possible for the multidice team to give at least couple of addresses from the list of their coins to have their bankroll.
Just to verify that those numbers given from their stats are true.
Also, the multidice rep here should be active as they just launch their casino in the forum.
I hope they will answer the questions from the users above and not just ignore them.
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are More Whales Moving Their BTC? on: November 14, 2021, 11:54:33 PM
There is no price drop with bitcoin by the time, if now this could've been connected as the reason for the drop in the price of bitcoin. As bitcoin is speculative by its features, whales at times try to make disturbance in the market. This is the past, now things have changed and people doesn't react to it.

They don't react anymore because speculating them as whales is baseless.
We can never be sure of these movements, so you're just wasting your time chasing after these "whales".
So instead of checking them, you can always take care of your own portfolio and mind your own business.
Nothing will be gained by criticizing every movement of these possible whales.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 14, 2021, 11:22:32 PM
You can't compare this fight to the fight of Manny against Ugas, that was a professional fight and Ugas is a champion as well. This match is a pure exhibition match and if we look at the experience of the fighters, clearly Mike Tyson has the advantage and that fact that he is still fit now, I have a feeling that his chance of winning is higher against Logan.
Sure it is incomparable to this match because this is far from being a professional match.

I'm also thinking that Mike won't just let Logan give him a slide and win on this match despite being exhibition. I think that everyone wants to see him being beaten by Mike.

Money, fame or reputation, Mike will probably choose the latter.

I wouldn't be so sure about it. He has already gained fame and is a legend. However, we all know about his financial problems. If this information is true, then unfortunately Mike is bankrupt and even drowning in debt, so if anyone would like to earn money from it, it is possible that Mike would agree to some very profitable proposition...
Did make some updated research as of today he does have 3M networth which i could say its low but still considerable.

In all the years he had on his career.

Mike bought a 21-bedroom/24-bathroom mansion in Connecticut with an on-site casino and a nightclub. He also purchased estates in Maryland, Las Vegas, and Ohio, where he had gold-plated furnishings and a basketball court.

Tyson owned several Ferraris, Lamborghinis, a Range Rover, a Mercedes-Benz 500, and a 1995 Rolls Royce.

Source: https://wealthygorilla.com/mike-tyson-net-worth/

So we do already have the idea on where his money been spent on.

So if he is still maintaining that kind of lifestyle, it is really high maintenance.
He needs to earn money to sustain that kind of living. So no doubt, he agreed to have this exhibition fight.
But I don't think he will put his reputation on the line even if it is just exhibition fight.
We will see that once they are inside the ring. So I guess, better not bet if you are using your hard-earned money.
2710  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetJA.com | The highest Payout among all major Bookmakers + Free BTC on: November 14, 2021, 10:55:51 PM
Be careful with Betja at the moment. I requested a withdrawal last night and it was just returned to my account and now the withdrawal option is disabled.

I recommend avoiding depositing until this is cleared up.

From what I have found out, Betja has never had any major problems or accusations of scam. It looks like they've been on market for a few years now, so I guess you have nothing to worry about. Contact the support and explain the situation, because in my opinion it is only a temporary problem. But of course, let us know how the case will go.

@brassnuts, have you tried sending a pm to https://t.me/JASupport24 in telegram?
If he will not see your comments here, he may reply to you in telegram.
It may be problem in their system as they always resolve things based from what I have seen here.
2711  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG for SPORTS🏆|🎂BETFURY 2nd ANNIVERSARY|Stake NFT-Earn BFG🚀 on: November 14, 2021, 09:20:28 AM
Suppose they keep the faucet, then there will be some restrictions. Because the free BFG box has attracted a lot of attention, it could lead to further benefits for the platform and ranking requirements have already been recognized. This should be decided by the Betfury marketing team after the anniversary event.
It's worth noting that gamblers can claim a maximum of 9 BFG (27 cents) per day from this BFG box, while the maximum daily reward of BTC and BNB boxes is only 5-6 cents per day. Even if Betfury decides to keep this BFG box permanently after the end of the b-day event, they will probably reduce the daily reward from 9 to 2 BFG.

27 cents with the current price, but what if Betfury jumped to 10 times its current price that means $2.75 daily if you're aggressive in claiming in these faucets if you have 5 accounts alternately claiming just do the math I'm ok with lowering the BFG faucet to something like 2 to 3 this is to discourage abuse, retaining and adding more faucets is still a big attraction for Betfury.

Is betfury accepting multi-accounts? And also, if you have that number of accounts, that's very tiring just to get those free tokens.
Unless, you have no other work and you are just hunting these free coins while you are staying at the basement of your mom.  Wink
But anyway, I don't think it is ok to have more than 1 account, because if betfury will be strict, you may end up losing all those coins, even from your main account.
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: November 13, 2021, 11:55:23 PM
why are you too pessimistic to judge other memecoins? do you think shiba inu is not worthy to be mentioned as a memecoin that has potential in the future and will be like dogecoin? I think what you said is very wrong
Maybe he has a different and different opinion so that he says that, but not all memecoins can develop and survive like Dogecoin, even if Shiba Inu has potential in the future, then it will definitely not be the same as Dogecoin.

The issue with SHIB is its use case. It is currently in hype but what would it take for it to survive once hype is over.
We all know that doge started as a meme but it evolved to be used in gambling and transfer purposes.
However, currently, doge is getting expensive when it comes to fees.
With other meme coins, only few will survive as most of them are launched by devs to ride the bandwagon.
Once this hype subsides, expect that one by one they will be abandoned.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get info about the starts of crypto sales? on: November 13, 2021, 11:37:35 PM
Hi, guys
For a long time, one question never ceases to bother me - how do people find out about the sales of new coins even before the official announcement? I am constantly learning about it too late. Yesterday my friend told me about the start of the public sale of tokens, but the price is already rising.

Maybe there are some insider resources or groups where all this information is?

https://coinmarketcap.com/ico-calendar/ covers stuff from many places, and from there you can browse where those tokens are been sold, different platforms have various places that you can keep taps on -> https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/the-best-ido-launchpads-for-every-blockchain

Quality varies and you have always to do your own research. Don't trust projects with anonymous teams and you can pretty much count on that no matter how much research you do you will encounter few rug pulls so be ready lose your investment.

There are so many sources you can find these days, ICO ranking sites alone will give you a lot of info.
ANd that's right, even if their rating is high, don't trust about such rating because some of them are paid ones.
If you are sincere in investing in some of these projects, do your own digging and evaluate if they can hit it off in the market.
Most are just giving promises but when it comes to actual implementation, most of them are failure.
2714  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if $70k was Bitcoin ATH for the year? on: November 13, 2021, 10:51:29 PM
Isn't that fine? I mean do you really must get 100k+ or whatever you are aiming at for this year to make you happy? I am totally fine with whatever we have, I do not need to see something that is grand to be happy with the situation. Now dropping a lot is a different case then having a high price, I could be happy with not reaching 70k+ but if it reaches to 30k against this year that could be a little bad.

Yeah, that's fine with me as well, the thing is that we are somewhat make to believed that $100k will be the norm for this year because of so many predictions about it from known personality and of course the S2F model.

I would still not be worried, just get more bitcoins when it is cheap so I would be still glad that it dropped, but I would also understand people who end up scared as well, that part makes sense. If you are all in and not making any more purchases then you could be a little upset when it falls down.

Those that are going to be worried are those who buy bitcoin at the top price. So we understand there concern that they wanted to get profits from their investment. But whatever angle you look at it, we have reach many ath this year and $70k+ is already too high.

What we achieved so far this year is already great for me.
We have reached price levels that have not been seen in btc history, for the last decade.
So whatever the price it will close this year, I will be more than happy to see.
And the adoption and interest from various entities is still increasing, so we don't have to worry about its future.
Most of us wanted profits of what we invested, that's understandable, but don't push yourself too much.
2715  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG for SPORTS🏆|🎂BETFURY 2nd ANNIVERSARY|Stake NFT-Earn BFG🚀 on: November 13, 2021, 09:58:37 PM
Wow 30,000 NFT sold out Betfury as a supporter provides 5 million BFG as a reward for NFT staking for 90 days  did anyone participate?
Take a look at APR 560% https://biswap.org/nft  tempting isn't it? but unfortunately the NFT market is not yet available biswap is preparing it
Yeah, it looks like these 30k NFTs on Biswap were sold very quickly. Unfortunately but I didn't have time to take it.
I do not get why there are so many people who are interested in the NFT world this much. I mean surely there are many that makes you profit and that makes sense, and if you are the first one to create it or mint it then you could maybe sell it later on for higher price. I have seen people who mint for the first time in that collection, early owner, and they happen to get the most rare one and sell it for 100k+ and that does make sense.

However in a situation like this, and in an offer like this, finishing 30k NFT suddenly? It doesn't make sense to me at all. People are going crazy over this situation and it is sort of a little bit funny if you ask me.

People have their own approach on this, as NFT is still the current hype.
But I am guessing a lot are like going crazy as you said it, for the mere idea that they can possibly earn big when they sell it.
We don't know their future but they are hoping that one day, they can get very good returns.
So we can't blame them, because it is how you react with the current hype, and if you don't want to be left behind, you will get a hold some of it.
2716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 12, 2021, 11:41:33 PM
Not surprisingly, for BNB the increase with rapid fluctuations could be touched in the near future. Maybe a few weeks before the end of the year it closes. Usually there will be some kind of significant increase like last year's BNB. Moreover, by burning, obviously the price of $ 700 is a price that is not impossible.

BNB has high chance to increase its value because it is not like any other coin in the market.
As binance is continuously deploying products and services in the market, they are attracting more customers in their platform.
This means, the survival of their network will stay long as compared to others.
So for me, even if BNB is centralized, they have at least strong foundation that can withstand the different seasons in the market.
2717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 12, 2021, 10:40:14 PM
It seems to me that it would be safer (and more convenient) to keep your crypto on an exchange (coinbase, blockfi etc) than cold wallet. Wouldn't the odds be greater that you mess up your cold storage than a large exchange being hacked or whatever (even if they are hacked, that wouldn't necessarily mean you would lose any coins, whereas if you are hacked that's a different story). I ordered a ledger nano X but it seems that the exchanges are still the way to go based on probabilities. What are your thoughts?
Well, the only reason you shouldn't keep your money into exchanges wallet are not just solely from hacking. There are some other factors that people recommends to prevent using exchanges for storing money such as downtime(that you can't access the website on certain time), fixed fees from the exchanges and etc.

I would rather store my small amount of money on the wallet that I can fully access than relying on third party to store my money even you think they are "well-known" to the community. It feels weird to store your money on third party that could steal your money anytime!

We have the same thoughts on this because if it is in your wallet, you have the full control.
But if it is in the exchange, what if suddenly there's maintenance going on, and you need to pull out your funds for emergency purposes, you can't.
But if in case, you will store a lil bit of your funds in exchange, better store it in exchange with insurance like binance.
Owners are paranoid in nature, whether they are holding big or small amount, as they worry about the security of their funds.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sky Vegas could face legal action due to promotional emails on: November 12, 2021, 09:29:35 PM
Honestly not a Sky Vegas user, therefore I don't really know what's going on. When I skimmed the news I was of the opinion that not all casinos would deal with these kinds of things with gamblers. An addiction that continues to be felt even though it has stopped. But the casino contacted him via email. A strategy to keep gamblers from leaving the casino just like that until they have spent all their money. Usually there is a feature to Unsubscribe.
The issue on here is that a certain user had already opted out or did unsubscribe but still the casino did make or sent out those promotional

emails which i could say that they had definitely had some mistakes on here because not all would really be that fine on poking up again

their gambling addiction once they had able to see it once again after they had stopped out on a certain period of time but honestly
we cant really give all the blame into the casino because there are things which that certain person could also have his mistakes on.

If the casino will face some punishments here, I won't be surprised.
This is irresponsibility from their end, they should know the consequences brought by their marketing people.
It is not big deal for those who are not gambling addicts, but for those who totally opted because they are addressing their addiction, this is really a temptation.
Let us see if some of them will sue this casino because of this wrong move.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 11, 2021, 11:59:55 PM
~snip~
Gaballo could introduce himself to the world if he wins in this match.
^ The chances that he could be a win is just a little and it is probably the odds are on the Donaire side.
I have felt that Gaballo will not able to win this fight since I know Donaire has been more experienced than Gaballo. However, I am baseless here when it comes to technical analysis because if luck is on Gaballo he could be able to introduce his name to the public.
Nevertheless, as I say, I don't want to guess and baseless point, let us see the fight if who will be gonna win.
His chance might be slim against Donaire, but he has to give his 100% in this fight. He respected Donaire and call him his idol. But when the bell rings, it's just the two of them and for sure he will fight to the 'death' because everything is on the line here. Because he knows if he win, then more fights for him in the future, means more money. And that's what most Filipinos are targeting, Manny Pacquiao did open the doors for them and many are trying to follow his footsteps, specially fame and glory and money.
But I hope they'll not follow Manny on being a politician as he was not doing well in that department especially now that he is aiming to be a president.

Focus on boxing and continue bringing glory to the country, these two fighters, whoever wins will surely bring honor to their next fight. It could be the biggest fight of Gaballo but for Donaire, it's not as he used to fight champions before, and honestly, I don't see anything special on Gaballo aside from his hard work in the ring.

Filipino are so smart these days and they will not go after fame since they know seek for better record and brains to run their political system and this kind of fame things will not help anyone even if they are famous on the sports category where they belong. So I expect that they will not win if they decide to run on election, but if they show their eagerness to help people and study about politics and economy maybe this doubt will be change, but make sure that this study will not only take 3 months just like what Manny did since its like he do that for just complying and make his self a degree holder by paying the school.

Are you sure he just paid the school just to get the degree?
Anyway, we don't know the real score here but it will show if he just paid, because his learnings should reflect on his political disposition.
But I don't think every Filipino boxer has that kind of political direction. Politics is not for all.
For most boxers, better enjoy the retirement after their boxing career.
2720  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] If this happens, is it time to sell your Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2021, 11:39:43 PM
Voted for the fourth option.

I'm keeping BTC as a long term hedge against a fiat collapse, which will be imminent.

I'm not interested in taking profits in the short run quite honestly - you might feel great for a while, and you could even potentially buy back for cheaper, but history has taught us that more often than not BTC will be on an uptrend long term due to its scarcity.
A total collapse? Probably a long way off of that currently. However, we can definitely expect something similar to 2008/2009 where there was a global recession. This has undoubtedly been escalated by Covid, and the measures that needed to be taken for that. A global recession something like 2008/2009, probably bigger is likely to be imminent, but I wouldn't go as far to say that a complete collapse is imminent.

Also, there is likely a ceiling that Bitcoin will hit, as with everything. Though, at this moment considering the currency is relatively new, it's hard to figure out what that ceiling might be when it has already broken a lot of peoples expectations.

I don't think there will be ceiling for bitcoin price? Unless we really reach the point 'where all btc has been mined', so it might take at least 3-5 halvings to realized that.

In any case, I see people still holding their precious bitcoin even if we didn't reach 6 digits, and I'm somewhat on that side as well. There were instance that I took short term profit, but looking back now, I should have hold and then just wait for the right time to sell and probably I could have profit x more amount in terms of fiat. So now I've learn from that mistake so I will still hold no matter what and wait for the next halvings.

Not many people can hold long term especially for those people who need their cash to survive.
But if you are lucky and can hold it long term, why not? The price of bitcoin is continuously increasing and based from graphical predictions, it will continue to rise in the coming years.
So even if we say, btc will not reach $100k this year end, the possibility of rising its value in the succeeding years is high.
And with that idea, I guess, a lot will be holding their satoshis as they hope to get as much profit as they can.
