They are only two points behind Leverkusen as well so I expect Mainz to be competitive as much as they can in the games remaining. Their next game against Bayern Munich is undoubtedly the toughest fixture of the season for them. But it is still not impossible for them to get one point at least.

Their recent form isn't good though so it is hard to believe in them to do so. Besides I remember their latest game against each other which ended by a 6-2 win for Bayern Munich side. Maybe this time it wouldn't be that big but Bayern Munich are still ahead of them by far on paper. It just depends on how tired the players would be after the Manchester City game.

PSG are preparing to make their decision about Galtier already before the end of the season. This would be for their own sake as well honestly.

Because I also agree that he isn't the right coach for this team. There are much more experienced coaches with big teams out there. I would really love to see Zidane before anyone else honestly but I don't give that much chance to happen as well. Because Zidane must still have no intention to manage a club in Europe now. But if he can't take the France job then maybe he might change his mind. But I don't know if it will take PSG that much time to decide their next coach.

Declan Rice's next team could be Arsenal in the summer. Newcastle are also after him these days but I don't think they would stand much chance against Arsenal. The reason why I think like that is Arsenal's being a bigger team now. Their squad quality is also much higher than Newcastle's. Newcastle need to increase the strength of their average level squad this summer. Qualifying for the Champions League is really important to do so easier.

Juventus will indeed have a really tough work to do in the second leg. Because Sporting's performance was really impressive in Turin already and this could be a sign of another solid effort in Portugal this time. Sporting are very likely to miss their chance for a Champions League spot in their domestic league now. They seem focused on the Europa League more than the Liga Portugal.

Winning the Europa League title isn't an easy task at all but it looks like they will still try their luck with that. Honestly their performance until this round has been impressive. Therefore Juventus had better be well-prepared for facing a tough opponent once again.

Barcelona - Atletico Madrid can be nice to watch if especially Barcelona don't play the same as their previous two games in the league.

I know none of these teams has an aim to achieve from now on. I mean Barcelona have a league title goal of course but they are already comfortable to get it anyway. As for Atletico Madrid they will qualify for the Champions League groups most probably. Therefore we might not watch a game as solid as their previous head-to-head game. I hope I will be wrong and we can watch a competitive and not boring game. Depay will also play against his previous team so I wonder how ambitious he would be.

What an incredible performance by Liverpool! They totally deserved the game from the beginning to the end. Leeds tried something for a while but they couldn't resist Liverpool at all at the end of the day. I was expecting to see Liverpool winning this game but this score was really too much. Every time I see them winning by a score like this I want to give them a chance to improve their form.

However they still can't do this. At least they couldn't do it in the previous times and I don't know if they can now. Even if they improve it they are still in a bad condition in the standings now. There is no way they are making it to the CL and it is even doubtful as for the EL.

Honestly there was a really deserved victory to be obtained by Fiorentina there but they couldn't. The goal expectation was a little over 2 but they couldn't score the winning goal anyway despite all that effort.

Atalanta had better even consider themselves lucky to get this point by 1-1. If they didn't get ahead first then I wouldn't have even waited for them to score a goal in this game. Because they had only one shot on target in the whole game. This was a really poor performance by them. Juventus can still keep their hopes up for taking Atalanta's position but it won't be easy at all. Because Juventus also have a bad form for a couple of weeks in the league.

Real Madrid are already highly favourite side in the second leg against Chelsea as well in my opinion. Maybe bookmakers don't show them that much favourite but this is the case for me. I expect another win by Real Madrid in Stamford Bridge honestly. It might even be a bigger win like it happened against Liverpool in Anfield. It depends on how focused Chelsea can be in this game.

The Champions League is the only thing Chelsea have left in their hands so they had better prove me wrong about them. I wouldn't say no to watching a competitive game this time. It is up to Lampard's making the right decisions for the game too.

Manchester United are in a really advantageous situation from now on. Because they won on a week that Tottenham and Newcastle both lost their matches. The point gap between Manchester United and Tottenham has reached six points already while the Red Devils have even a missing game. I think they just need to make a special effort to lose their place in top four from now on.

Tottenham aren't credible at all. They got a loss even in a home game against Bournemouth. They don't deserve the Champions League by playing like this. Newcastle also deserve more than them right now in my opinion.

PSG are very comfortable about getting close to the Ligue 1 title from now on. Because they got a very easy win against Lens this week.

It was a game which was much easier than I expected for PSG. I thought Lens would resist them well considering their previous head-to-head game in the league. But indeed the red card finished Lens there. Now there would only be a race to join the Champions League among the other teams. We can see placement changes so many times among Marseille, Lens and Monaco from now on. Marseille have already captured the second position now.

The probability of seeing Nagelsmann as Chelsea's next manager has increased a lot recently. He seems to be their first choice from now on. At first Pochettino was shown among the candidates as well but now I'm only hearing about Nagelsmann. He has been a really decent manager so far with his Bayern Munich experience as well of course. He can do a good work with Chelsea as well.

Chelsea just want to be really sure about their decision before making a move to sign a manager permanently. I hope they find the right manager after having a really bad season.

Maybe Milan won the first leg by 1-0 but I'm still favouring Napoli to eliminate them in this round. Because Osimhen is finally back after his injury.

Osimhen's absence was their main problem in the first leg. They found so many opportunities to score but they still couldn't. They had big problems on finishing despite having many opportunities. Osimhen is really the most important player for Napoli right now. I think he will make a big impact on the matchup in the second leg. Napoli can still eliminate Milan thanks to Osimhen's returnal. I think they will do this as well.

Roma did a really great work today by beating Udinese. It was a comfortable win by 3-0 as well. I was doubting them a little because of having a rematch in the Europa League. But they still kept their focus on and finished off Udinese. Udinese are really far away from their look at the first times of the season. They were fighting for the lead then but now they are in the middle of the standings.

This is good for Roma as they have consolidated their presence in top four more. I would love to see them in the Champions League after making a high effort.

Sevilla got what they wanted from the game against Valencia today. The first half didn't seem like Sevilla would win this game. But here we are seeing them as the winner by 2-0.

This was a really crucial win for Sevilla about getting away from the relegation zone. After this win they are officially eight points away from the zone. I don't think they would be under the same threat again in the remaining time of the season. But this season still has been a horrible experience for Sevilla for sure. They have been so inconsistent that it is very hard to trust them to bet on as well. I don't expect them to eliminate Manchester United in the Europa League as well.

It is really difficult to understand Arsenal for two weeks. This game against West Ham was literally the copy of the Liverpool one on the previous week. They got ahead by 2-0 again but couldn't keep this advantage to the end. Even after it became 2-1 Arsenal still had a big chance to open the goal gap once again with Saka. But he wasted the big chance I'm afraid.

Even after West Ham equalized the score I still believed in Arsenal to win this game somehow. But after another draw Manchester City are only four points behind with a missing game at the same time. This is really alarming for Arsenal about the title race.

Leverkusen's impressive winning streak has finally come to an end with a game against Wolfsburg. I'm not surprised with the result anyway honestly.

Because I was expecting them to rotate their lineup thinking of the second leg in the Europa League. Because they aren't in a good situation there now after getting a 1-1 draw. They will need to make an extra effort in the second leg so they need all of their important players on the field. I don't think they will focus on the Bundesliga less than there. Because they are doing a really good job about qualifying for a tournament so far.

I think Roma can still move Feyenoord out of their way in the tournament. Because their performance in the first leg was really promising actually. They wasted unbelievable opportunities in that game. One of them was a ball almost passing the goal line and the other one was a penalty. This game could have ended more differently if one of those attempts ended up with a goal.

I expect to watch a more effective Roma in this home game. Feyenoord's priority will be to secure this advantage to the end so they might play a little more defensive. Roma need to take advantage of their attacking power.

It is very lovely to follow the competition for the last spot to qualify for the Champions League. Betis have increased their chance again by benefiting from a big chance.

Still everything can change so quickly in the remaining time period of the season. Betis want to put more to their previous season performance by making it to the fourth position in the standings this time. But this is another tough journey for them indeed. I really think Dortmund don't deserve the league title anymore after that poor defensive performance against Stuttgart. Manchester City are quite close to the semi finals now after getting a very solid win like 3-0 over Bayern Munich. Honestly I was waiting for Manchester City to win in Etihad but this was way more than my expectations. Especially in the second half Bayern Munich were pretty bad against them. It was like the game Manchester City played against Leipzig in this half.

Bayern Munich have nothing to lose from now on. They will need to take much bigger risks and Manchester City are just the team to benefit from that.
