281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 08:39:47 AM
If you think its scam coin, then why didn't you say that much earlier? This thread was pretty much active for these 2 months, and Legendary guy should have found it much faster.
Saying those kind of stuff just right before the PoS phase starts, it looks like you just want to buy coin cheaper Undecided

Oh should I? Because the amount of work I've been putting in exposing other scams these past months means my absence from this particular shitcoin thread is an indication I want to buycheapcoinznomnomnom™? LOL, because that's so totally not exactly the sort of crap accusation that's always posted when these shitcoins are outed as scams.

I only came to this thread because somebody alerted me to it and it did not take long to recognise it as being exactly the same as all the other shitcoin threads I busted back in 2014/15. Check my post history from then.

In fact the only thing missing from this thread is all the 'MOOOOOON' Gifs and dumb-ass 'Weak Hands will lose out' trading memes that used to be popular in them. Often in an attempt to bury the posts which were exposing the fact it was a scam.

282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 08:33:22 AM
I'm still not sure if they're real people (but very technically ignorant), or bots.
Cause every-time you see someone praise The Great Doc or Future Tech Signatum in this thread - their account always has around 50 posts (+/-10).
If the coin is 2 months old - that means 1 praising post per day per bot Smiley (or a hired or brainwashed copy-paster, which doesn't differ much from a bot anyway)

That's what I was thinking. I've been going through some of the older pages of this thread trying to find a common theme among them which normally indicates a shit-posting bot (or person) responsible for keeping the thread growing and on the first page of the Altcoin ANN forum.

So far I've seen one very common aspect which is that, while I've yet to find the usual single account shit-poster example, there are a lot of different accounts which routinely post in this and a few other shitcoin threads, as well as GPU mining threads.

But, then, it could just be gullible rig-owners who think they're on to the next big thing with these coins.

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 08:09:44 AM
cryptodevil, thank you for your reply!

I found a good arcticle for masternodes and thats why I deleted my post: https://www.investitin.com/masternode/

Fuck, so you're saying all these pages are from posts made by actual victims of this shitcoin scam? It's worse than I thought then.

Seriously, you're all being conned. There is NOTHING to separate this coin from any other and that whitepaper is a joke, filled with a great big nothing-burger of an irrelevance concerning the PoW algo.

I thought the ICO scene was bad, but this sort of shitcoin project is clearly rampant for targeting noobs through FOMO and technical ignorance.

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 07:49:42 AM
Hi guys! What is MASTERNODES?

It's another way to con you into buying the coin so you run a 'Masternode' wallet when the network is on PoS which usually does something like transaction mixing in return for rewards, but you need to have a minimum balance of coins to run one, hence it being the go-to for shitcoin scams to get people to buy their shitcoin from the, again, laughably obvious, fake volume pumped market on Yobit.

Come on you numpties, wake up! Don't keep throwing your bitcoin at this!

[EDIT]
Oh! Now that is interesting, a post being made which is deleted shortly afterwards. 'papi92' is bot-posting to keep this thread active with fake posts. LOOOOOOOOL!

Yeah, you're fucked.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 21, 2017, 07:31:36 AM
Oh wow! I have not seen one of these for a long time.

In cryptocurrency terms this is a real blast-from-the-past given the preference for bullshit ICOs these day!

What we have here is what is known as a shitcoin and I cannot believe people still fall for this nonsense.

Ladies, gentlemen and others, please be upstanding for the single most laughably obvious absurdity of this entire project:
https://signatum.io/
Quote
Signatum features the new SkunkHash Raptor algorithm that enables strong ASIC-resistance during the proof of work phase

The ENTIRE premise of this ridiculous shitshow is the hype surrounding how this 'revolutionary' algorithm offers strong ASIC resistance. But the PoW period is only 100 days! Who the fuck would care about building an ASIC to mine this? The 'devs' could just as easily have picked any of the legitimate algorithms for which ASICS do not exist.

100 days of PoW!

The whitepaper consists of paragraph after paragraph of talk about this coin's PoW algo and NOTHING else of any difference to EVERY other fucking clone-a-coin cryptocurrency out there. It isn't even a technical whitepaper, it is just rambling hand-wavy bollocks!

That you are even arguing over who said or did what from this con-artist 'dev team' would be hilarious if it weren't for the truth that most of you will have lost a substantial amount of your own funds in this fraud.

Jesus Fucking Christ, I am genuinely shocked that this old-school style of crypto scam is still being run and people are still falling for it.
SMH.

286  Other / Archival / Re: Please lock Hal Finney's forum account, it appears to have been hacked. on: September 18, 2017, 09:29:24 AM
Oh, I didn't see that, where is that information shown on the profile?

287  Other / Archival / [for deletion] The account concerned is already locked so this is redundant on: September 18, 2017, 09:03:18 AM
Out of respect for the man, would a mod please lock Hal Finney's forum account which is showing as being last active March 29th 2017, so it is has clearly been compromised.

The date of activity appears consistent with the plethora of hacked forum accounts being hijacked to shill for scam ICOs in the last months and, while any scumbag attempting to use it would be swiftly called out, we don't want them changing any of Hal's posts for shits, giggles, or nefarious purposes.

288  Other / Meta / Re: my account has been hacked . on: September 18, 2017, 06:26:23 AM
same has happened to me, my account has been hijacked over this weekend
i posted about it here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2183869.0

The page that i posted a BoostCoin address on which i can sign is archive here in case it gets deleted

http://archive.is/Rw3Wr

I've also PM'd Theymos and Cyrus but havent had any reply yet. What else can i do to get my account recovered?

I've tagged it with negative trust but signing a message from that address would help verify your claim in the meantime.

As I already pointed out in the extensive negative ratings I marked cryptodao with when they first appeared, those are obviously fake details with, at best, a corporate service provider being the address for Cartwright Gardens, who would have absolutely no idea about this scam operation.

These scammers were trying to claim their fake-ass incorporated company meant it was legit but you can incorporate a UK company online for something like twenty quid these days, it doesn't mean shit.

FFS people, stop falling for these painfully-obvious scammy operations!

290  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LUST ICO is a scam. on: September 11, 2017, 03:12:40 PM
I found one 'real' person from their team.  Wink

This is a release from his LinkedIn profile:
Quote
I'm removing myself from the Lust team effective immediately. I initially saw promise in the project and the idea, and I looked forward to developing it, but yesterday and today BitcoinTalk users identified enough key signs of a scam for me to withdraw my support until they explain themselves.

https://lnkd.in/gtXrfWG

Please do extensive research and due diligence prior to investment.

https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6307616555182231552/

ORLY? Took him over a month to decide to distance himself from this obvious-scam-ICO-is-obvious scam ICO?

FFS, they were using fake 'team' profiles and dozens and dozens of hacked bitcointalk forum accounts to bot-post bullshit on their thread, which part of any of this 'seemed legit'?

If you click through Duncan Lemp's extremely-light-on-anything-substantial resume, on to his 'Nonpariel Capital' facebook page, you can see him and his buddies claiming to have made $$$ for their 'clients' with their 'trading algorithm' (I'm sure it's nothing to do with the mercurial rise in BTC price during that period, right?). It would not surprise me in the slightest to find he was fully aware of the sketchy nature of this ICO and figured if he finally bailed on it he might be able to pretend like he was totes innocent.

Fucking amateur, learn some basic due diligence. Although, given that you're trying to sell yourself as a crypto-market expert for capital investment purposes, your apparent failure to do so in this ICOs case is suspect, to say the least.

291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE] - Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 11, 2017, 06:16:13 AM
Anyway have you seen my comment in LOOQ thread. Looq n Karbon belong to same person and both are scams. Funds going to n fro between Looq n Karbon contracts.

Nope, I only have so much time to spend trying to expose fraud. It does not surprise me in the least to hear of multiple ICOs being operated by the same groups. Their fraudulent behaviour, however, does not redeem yours.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE - 50% Bonus] -Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 11, 2017, 06:14:09 AM
Brother blackmailing also used in context of forced choices, like if you do this; i Will give negative trust to you.

You're an idiot who can't tell the difference between blackmail for personal gain and action taken to prevent fraud, just stop talking.

I don't think you properly understand the meaning of the word, 'blackmail'.
Quote
Blackmail
Blackmail is an act, often criminal, involving unjustified threats to make a gain—most commonly money or property—or cause loss to another unless a demand is met

Don't you think you are doing same??

So please explain:

1. The criminality of my actions (your false claims about your team qualify as 'fraudulent misrepresenation' for gain, which is a criminal act)
2. How my actions are unjustified (seeking to protect other people from loss derived through fraud is not unjustified)
3. How I am seeking to gain 'money or property' through those actions (I don't support any ICOs so where's my gain?)

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE] - Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 10, 2017, 09:40:26 AM
Why are we fighting here? Time will prevail the truth.

We're not fighting, you're just denying the facts. Time already proved that.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE] - Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 09, 2017, 01:08:36 PM
Which part of, "You lied about your 'team' in order to fraudulently misrepresent your ICO operation" makes the subsequent releasing of some shonky 'platform' legitimate?

297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE - 50% Bonus] -Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 09, 2017, 01:06:36 PM
Seriously?  He is clearly blackmailing people,  if you don't do what he wants he will give you negative trust rating.

Yes, if you don't do what I want, which is for you to stop lying about your operation in order to fraudulently misrepresent your ICO, I will give you a negative rating and anybody else who is trying to promote your scam.

I don't think you properly understand the meaning of the word, 'blackmail'.

298  Other / Meta / Re: How to combat the surge in scam ICOs on: September 08, 2017, 08:45:35 AM
there are really interesting and successful projects. Or do not you think so?

Successful? By what metric are you claiming success?

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] DWT TOKEN [ICO LIVE] - Linking Cryptocurrencies to Mainstream on: September 08, 2017, 06:36:44 AM
It was miss as second name was part of css which our designer forgot to change.
Bollocks. The photos were fake, too. FFS how dumb do you think we are?

Anyway just for information of everyone we have successfully registered our firm with UK authorities to work in UK.

So? You can register a UK company online for twenty quid, that does not make you a legit operation.

Does scam project launches platforms before ico ends?
Everything about your operation is fraudulent, who in their right mind would trust any 'platform' from you scammers?

Seriously, give it up.

This ICO has been
exposed as fraudulent

!!! Warning !!!

Anybody wearing their signature or promoting this scam will be tagged with negative trust. Remove your support immediately or face the consequences.

See this scam accusation thread for details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2119259.msg21188594#msg21188594
Can you please stop doing that.  We are not scam,  we are genuine people. Haven't you attended the live Hangout??

You attempted to launch your scam with a 'team' of entirely fake profiles:
Quote

When you were called out for it you first denied the images were fake, then you deleted the profiles from your website and pretended like you hadn't acted fraudulently. Instead you started talking about doing a google 'hangout' with someone called 'Lokesh Singh', as though that would magically undo your deception and turn your scam into a legit ICO.

So, yes, you are a just another ICO scammer and, no, I will not stop alerting people to this fact.
