281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 05, 2021, 11:18:23 AM
1. MIT Blackjack Team

This is the only one I am amazed even though they still cheated. I watched 21 in the past and at that time I think they are really amazing. To be able to memorize the cards and defeating the "system". Still, we are talking about beating the casino and one of the most popular methods they've used to beat it is through cheating.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 03, 2021, 01:13:28 PM
From my perspective, this fight was only made just to generate or make money because both of these people are popular people worldwide. Even Logan Paul isn't a professional boxer like Floyd Mayweather, Floyd still wanted to make a fight with Logan Paul, which he definitely doesn't stand a chance. I also don't think this fight will not generate that much money because it will be a waste of time since we already knew which of them will won the fight.

I will watch the drama but not watch the match may be the outcome or the highlights just because Logan won few fights from low rated fighters that do not guaranty him a shot for top boxers in the world, this Logan Paul needs a clean shot to the face and Amanda Nunez can give it to him so he'll wake from his dreams of becoming a great boxer.

I want Jake Paul to have his wishes come true and meet a real top-tier boxer or MMA fighter. I want him to be beaten so badly that he will finally wake up to the reality and close his bubbling mouth in calling out real fighters.

We are all annoyed by this ignorant YouTuber and I know that we all wanted to see him in the canvass straight up KOed but that is his character and that is the reason he is still getting a lot of views and a lot of money. Maybe this is also the reason why we will be seeing a Floyd-Logan fight, because we are still viewing their contents.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 03, 2021, 11:00:27 AM
They are doing this for the money. That just means that there are those people that still dig this kind of exhibition match even though they already know that the boxers are not doing it for them as their fans but they are doing this because they are feeding them the one they always want and that is nothing to do with glory or their profession but the money.
This is a potential fight for big money, promoters would not resist this opportunity as they can make easy money even if the fight is not going to be an exciting fight like the real fight. I don't want to say this but promoters are just abusing their fans, the real excitement was only in the marketing as it gives the hype but in the real fight, this is a one sided beat down.

This may hurt but there are a lot of celebrities or YouTubers/Youtube Content Creators/Streamers that take advantage of their fans or supporters. It is the reality and even though there are a lot of people that would say that the result of this fight is meaningless, there would be a lot of people that would pay for it and watch it.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Happening? $31K on: January 02, 2021, 03:51:12 PM
Well, I am just surprised. It is just $29K the other hour and right now it is at $31K?! I don't know how long will this rally will be but we should just enjoy the ride and keep taking this as an opportunity as we might not see this kind of price in the next few weeks or months or years. I will not be disappointed even if the price fell in the next few years.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy New Year Bitcoiners on: January 02, 2021, 11:21:33 AM
The year ended with a big bang! I expected the price to increase at the end of the year but I am not expecting it to reach such heights. We should not really doubt the capabilities of bitcoin to be interesting and be attractive to some investors the reason why we are seeing this kind of price. Hoping for better in the next couple of months, for this year.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: January 02, 2021, 11:17:31 AM
Bitcoin has reached its new ATH just two days after 2021 and it's a good sign that this year will be big for bitcoin and adoption is going strong indeed. I have a feeling that this year will be good to crypto currencies and for sure alternatives coins will also be the year to it.

We don't know that. It is true that the price rose to another ATH this year but we can't just identify the whole year's movement with what we are seeing right now. A year is a long time for Bitcoin as we all know it for its volatility, it can dump and pump for a short period of time. I am not against bitcoin, it is just that we never know what will happen.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is debt on: January 02, 2021, 10:50:06 AM
Life is not a debt. Does that just mean that as long as you are alive you will be paying for that to your parents? to your God? to your step-parents? Life is a debt if you think it is a debt but that would make your life heavier since you are thinking of it as a fruit of negativity. You should look at it as a gift instead of a debt, it is a fruit of positivity and is meant to be valued and be enjoyed.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 02, 2021, 10:32:03 AM

I think even logan paul thinks he has no chance.
We don't need to read what he think, he really has no chance against Floyd, no one can beat Floyd even in an exhibition fight. Logan Paul here does fight to make money, not to win, just trying to be realistic here.
Then; even Floyd Mayweather does too, they are both in the same boat, we can't quickly forget what happened in Floyd Mayweather last fight, they all shown they are after the money and not give out entertainment fight we used to see in their respective fight. Basically, these types should be scrape out becasue they are making the boxing industry boring honestly.
I doubt they will. even with its boringness it still brings money and these money-hungry promoters/"boxer" aren't going let this opportunity pass. even with this circus show, I am still glad that there is still boxers worth watching where they give their all in order to win and not just for the money.

They are doing this for the money. That just means that there are those people that still dig this kind of exhibition match even though they already know that the boxers are not doing it for them as their fans but they are doing this because they are feeding them the one they always want and that is nothing to do with glory or their profession but the money.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 23, 2020, 12:49:34 PM

Nothing is impossible, we even thought in the past that the fight would not happen, but it did happen, so the fact that they have already fought, a rematch is not impossible, probably Mayweather is just looking for the right timing, this is big money, no one would ever resist it.

Makes sense although I hope they could start with it soon since they are already at the same agency, it would not be that hard. But with the pandemic still going around, I think it is better if they could plan this big event in 2022 in which would gather fans viewers that would also generate a lot of profits for Mayweather if he really wants it.

Maybe it can happened but just the same with Tyson and Jones Jr.

exhibition game that will bring lots of money for both fighter, but in terms of title fight it will be a tough one to close that deal as Mayweather's camp will surely hold on with his no loss title for the ret of his life, threat fighting Pacquiao is a huge one as it can
bring him down so it needs to assess deeply.

That is true. As @ice098 said, it might be the end of the unbeatable record of Mayweather and obviously his team is scared to scratch that fro the history books although I don't think he could live that "amazing" retirement or record if he will not be giving a chance to Manny. If he will not be fighting him, that just means that he can't defend his record .
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 23, 2020, 11:08:35 AM
He will not do it, i don't remember any rematches that he agree to play with, and Mayweather will not let his guard down, he will not let other people win the game because they might do like what he did to them, if he will make a rematch with Manny expect that it will create a tons of money again, but the thing is he will not be the winner this time and I am sure of it, and if ever I will not bet in this game, I rather bet in not so well known boxer rather than a game with Floyd.

Mayweather will really hold into that record until he dies. I think it would be a miracle if Mayweather fights again Sen. Manny Pacquiao, if that is the case I find this rematch to be impossible. Maybe another rematch to McGregor is a match he would approve, because it would be another millions in his pocket. He's amazing to achieve an unbeatable run until he hang his gloves, we can't argue about that but accepting these matches might've hit some of the  boxers that wanted to face him.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: December 23, 2020, 11:01:06 AM
that's a good sign, bitcoin will be stronger if more people hold it than it is controlled by a handful of people, in my opinion getting 1 btc is not too difficult for those who have skills, I am sure in this forum many people can get btc easily, the difficult thing is to hold it for a long time.
^ I am not sure what you are saying, I am probably the unlucky person because it is very difficult to be able to generate 1 Bitcoin while here even though I have participated in many campaigns. very jealous of those who are able to generate 1 Bitcoin from here.

Actually, there are a lot of ways to get a bitcoin from here, not directly but also because there are a lot of investors and traders that share their strategies and systems here in the forum. You can pick a lot from here especially in this times where the bitcoin is so high. From that, you should also conclude that you doesn't just need to earn, you also need to risk some to get higher profit. If that does well for you, you will be able that 1 bitcoin  in the right time.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin End The Current Political System? on: December 20, 2020, 11:48:10 PM
We don't use it because we think it's better we use it because other people use it.

We use it because we have no other choice. It is the easiest method to use, we are used to it, we grew old with it. I wanted to use bitcoin in our country, but which store accepts it? The solution? Sell bitcoin and get the fiat I need. That is why I usually chose to hold it rather than use it because I have a lot of reasons to hold it than choosing stores to use it.

I do agree that people though are getting intelligent over the year when it comes to fighting for their freedom but I think we will still be at the losing end not because we are powerless but because the cause is not actually to destroy something.  It is to create a new opportunity, a new method and a new system.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: December 20, 2020, 11:40:07 PM
The difference now is printing fiat does not encourage people to spend their money, the reverse is actually true when that lever is pulled, it encourages purchasing and HOARDING of Bitcoin in much the same way people hoarded cash during the great depression.  The more central banks print fiat, the more popular Bitcoin becomes as the smart money escapes the legacy monetary system, but it also works the other way around: the more Bitcoin that is bought, the more central banks are forced to print due to fiat leaving the system for Bitcoin, and a negative feedback loop ensues.

It is for the better of bitcoin if that continue to happen. The thing though is that despite all of this massive printing of fiat, means that all of the people will come running to bitcoin hoping and begging for their forgiveness, no. People would still use fiat, bitcoin might be regulated by countries but it will never replace them. There are a lot of things that happened and can happen to trigger central bank collapse but in my opinion, bitcoin is not on that list.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a Tesla with Bitcoin on: December 20, 2020, 10:03:33 PM
This is just amazing. And it just not prove that you can buy a Tesla if you hold your bitcoins for a long time, it just proves that the more patient you are,t he more things you can achieve or buy in the next few years. Just imagine how things would roll in the next few years, I don't think Tesla would be the only goal, right?
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 20, 2020, 11:06:11 AM
Why fight a professional fighters when the amount of money that you are going to earn is the same as when you are facing an amateur fighter like Logan and besides these amateur cannot hit like what professional fighters hit and Mayweather can dusk hit and knock them all at whatever time he wants, he want all things easy, easy money easy fight.

Same amount? Are you serious?

Logan will be paying him $5M, and as far as I know he will also be taking 50% of the PPV sales. I don't think it would be that hit unlike when he fought against McGregor where he took $300M, with a $100M guarantee. It is easy money from an easy fight but in terms of his past fights, it is not even comparable the money he earned.

With his kind of match, I don't think Floyd Mayweather would really earn a lot of money compared to his past bouts. Still though, that is a huge money for an easy game that he can just finish in seconds or minutes depending on how he will "play the game". Logan doesn't have a problem giving Floyd $5M, and I think if McGregor fight Jake for $50M, it would just be so easy.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 20, 2020, 09:55:30 AM
BTW, just out of my curiosity, does this thread counts the illegal gambling of the Countries? or is it only for legal purposes fkr legal gambling?
Anyways, I think it's  not as illegal gambling are way too impossible to count (maybe?) ?

And I think this comes for another discussionLoL

I went to the site the OP linked and it seems that China is not included in that list because we all know how illegal gambling is in China. What country is listed that might be related to China is Macau which is listed as the most country which gamble the most. Based on the site, it generates 50% of the autonomous region of China.
Chine is the Number 2 in the Gaining list though wasn't listed in the Losers so the country is there and not for totally banning.

and 1 thing is the List was created and provided in 2017-2018 meaning 2-3 years from our time now ,there are many changes for Sure .

and Gambling is maybe illegal in China but they are the Biggest owner of gambling places around the globe.

I did some google searches and find this article that talks about those countries that are so crazy about gambling. It is just 5 countries but the countries included are: Singapore, Ireland, Finland, Australia and UK in which basing from the OP's source is close but UK is not included in that year. Based on that article also, people in UK lose up to $15B on different games per year. That is just massive.

297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 19, 2020, 11:55:18 PM
I sometimes wonder how many Americans are gambling now. Typically people gamble online with much higher amounts because you have faster access to large sums of money.
There are many restrictions for Americans, but looking purely at casinos that are physically located, I think there is a lot of gambling going on here. Or maybe somewhere in Asia.
I did not know so many people players from Australia.
Yeah me too, if the number one in the list is Asia , I don't have any doubt about that but it is Australia, here in asia, we have a lots of casinos and local gambling games some of them are not registered and illegal but still many people are unto it, so it is quiet new to me that we are not into the number one in the list, maybe it is good since I knew that we belong to the 3rd world country losing that amount is quiet unusual in here.

Asia might have some popular places where it is popular to gamble but not all of us are that huge of a gamblers. Most of the gamblers here are those in the middle, it is very often that huge personalities are betting in casinos. Then there are these foreigners that also go there, although I don't know if that would count, right?
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: December 19, 2020, 11:51:57 PM
This is possible from happening. I know that most of us here are looking at the chart positively but we should accept the fact that the price is so volatile that to our surprise the price is so low. But  you should not fret from investing and trading bitcoin. It is true that it will fall, but remember that it could still rose the same as that year and get to the place where we are right now, only at that time, it would be higher.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion is highly needed! on: December 19, 2020, 10:21:27 PM
I won't risk it in crypto currencies. Bitcoin is having a great time now but I doubt that it would stay there for a long time. It might just go down the time you invested in it so better get house. You never know the price of houses in the next 4-5 years so better get it now while you can. You might regret it.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid on: December 19, 2020, 10:11:21 PM
There are more to Covid that eyes can't see, it seems to me like it was a coordinated effort by some set of people to profit from this Covid. Why is it that most of these developed countries are the ones being greatly hit by Covid, just look at Africa and some of these developing countries where their health infrastructure is not as good as Europe they do not have issue with Covid. I read the survival rate for Covid is 99% for people above 70% and these people decided to lock up the country

In the past, they already have deadly viruses looming in their countries that is deadly and can be passed to other people just like covid. I guess this hits them a lot making them aware of taking care of themselves and maybe the public coordinated so well to the government making quick actions to to new cases that are happening.
