1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My top five favorite poker movie scenes... on: June 11, 2020, 02:56:54 PM
I know that we are talking about poker but most of the movies I love that contains gambling are playing Balckjack. Those scenes are in the movies of 21 which is almost of those scenes in Las Vegas and that small scene of Alan playing Blackjack from the Hangover where also the new meme template was born.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 11, 2020, 12:58:34 PM
Obviously I will put my bet on Manny Pacquiao. The fact that they are considering this match means Manny can win against Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin. Though can Manny really do the weight change? If this will be the fight, I will really beat on MP. Another boxer against him with a height advantage, Manny can knock him down or beat him up.

Uhmm, I think you are just a very avid fan of the Pacman that you bet on him without first examining the opponent and this time you will lost your bet but fortunately for you mate, this fight is not gonna happen. In the first place, team Pacman is not considering this fight, it's only Roach who spread this rumor and he ain't the trainer of Manny anymore, he will be in Manny's corner as a consultant AFAIK.

Manny have the luxury of cherry picking his next opponent and it would be between the two Garcia's (Danny and Mikey) if he can't get that rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

Reading your post, yeah I guess you could say I am an avid fan of him. Been betting to him since he's putting a show on every flashy ring he went up to, either Las Vegas or in other places. Though it is not that I am underestimating his enemy. Triple G is a great boxer, I just remembered how people debate like this when Manny fought against Margarito which is also a great boxer with a great advantage in height against Manny. I just thought that it would be the same.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't we literally send Bitcoin to the moon? on: June 11, 2020, 12:24:35 AM
I think we are doing great with the goal of inviting and introducing people to bitcoin. Ads are enough and I think advertising through these rockets are too much. I would choose advertisements through the internet rather than the rocket one. Also, I don't think NASA would agree on this since as you said, they are not accepting that kinds of advertisements now.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: June 10, 2020, 11:49:13 PM
Many have a distrust of the currency, because it relatively recently appeared on the market.

I don't think more than a decade is that recent for me. Another thing is that it already generated a lot of profits from its investors the reason more people wanted to have their own bitcoins to save to also earn their profits. I guess scams and hacks is more probable reason why people are afraid to it.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto's economic value is surprisingly low :'( on: June 10, 2020, 10:55:02 PM
0.4, 1.6, and 0.7. It seems low but comparing these is just unfair considering the times they have. Bitcoin can still do much better, we still have a long time to run and I think that numbers would be doubled in the next few years. It now has millions and millions of users, what more if 1/7 or 1/8 of the total population of this world are already using it.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: What online service / product would you buy in this recession ? on: June 10, 2020, 10:31:58 PM
I wanted to buy something that would give me a profit nowadays. Laptop, mobile phones and other profitable products since the pandemic started. I want to earn as much as I can right now so I could save money that I can use after the recession to invest, stocks or crypto currencies.

1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK rules will hit loot boxes games hard - as they’re turning kids into gamblers. on: June 10, 2020, 01:26:46 PM
What can they do about it? Ban the game? Limit the game to players or gamers to ages that are legal for them to gamble? IF they will be banning the game, these children will still find a way to access it may be using a VPN or proxies. They can't just limit the ages of these players since these children can just lie so that they could still play the game.

I don't know why Thorin is so mad or started beef with dev1ce though. Is there a history between them? I do agree that he should just ignore this guy, it is true that he is a good analyst but that doesn't mean that he should call dev1ce a loser. They won multiple majors, consecutive wins even. If dev1ce is a loser, what am I?

He doesn't have any previous beef with device and we all feel like it was a publicity stunt from Thorin. As analyst I think you should note all the things. Astralis is going through tough time and its gotta take time to build on. Seriously wasn't expected from such senior analyst and commentator to lash out on twitter, seems kinda immature.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. I don't know if Thorin put his money for Astralis and he is so mad that they lost. Right now, Astralis is in the mud with two of their teammates at rest. They are having a hard time and all we could do right now is hope Glaive and Xyp9x went back well taking back their seat above tier 1 teams in the tournaments.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoCa Cola now Accept bitcoin on Australia and New Zealand. on: June 10, 2020, 11:50:50 AM
I hope they would extend to other countries as well. I am already thinking that this would quickly be a thing to places that is a bitcoin hotspot like Vancouver or Amsterdam, maybe Japan as well. Vending machines are not that popular in our country so I don't think this would be that popular here though it might advertise bitcoin and invite more users.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future Prediction Because of Hacking/Scamming on: June 07, 2020, 11:46:54 PM
There are a lot of hacks that happened, lots of scams that happened, lots of money lost and we are still here. Despite the huge falls that happened, people are still going back to invest since they know the probability of it still going upwards. The people are supporting this crypto currency because they know it will bring them profits, and it did and will continue in doing so.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: What opportunity costs will governments take. on: June 07, 2020, 11:17:11 PM
I don't know what will be the other steps that will be done by the government but there are also those talks about adding some taxes in live streaming platforms and online shops resellers which I think is not that good.
As part of the recovery, the government will be adding more taxes, I don't know about this one but they will put a tax on everything that is moving immune to the effects of the pandemic.

Yeah, it sucks since I know a lot of resellers right now and they are not actually earning that much. Another thing is that we are still in GCQ so most of the people in the country that can't get out usually surf the interent and watch videos on Netflix and Youtube. If this will be taxed, I don't know what people will think about it since they will be taxing their entertainment in their houses.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: What opportunity costs will governments take. on: June 07, 2020, 02:05:53 PM
Well, our country added their debt and I think that is necessary as there are a lot of expenditures that happened during the pandemic. Our country is slowly turning the situation to normal and it is really necessary since the government is not the ones that should get to work right now, the people also need to work for themselves especially their family. I don't know what will be the other steps that will be done by the government but there are also those talks about adding some taxes in live streaming platforms and online shops resellers which I think is not that good.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 07, 2020, 01:42:18 PM
Is this safe though? I already read that parties are also approved and not banned anymore so parties are being thrown there right now. Case in Nevada is almost at 9000, I guess they are confident that it is now done but it is still risky especially that we know that there is still no vaccine for the virus. Though I understand since people really need to get back in their jobs.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 07, 2020, 12:49:10 PM
dev1ce should've just ignored him tho, I mean, Thoring called him a loser Huh in what way is God Dev1ce a loser? Thorin wanted attention, he threw the bait and Astralis took it...smh.

1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 07, 2020, 12:00:21 AM
They are world champions, I never understood why they arent still that same threat.    Did they just get older or some obvious problem or other teams got better and specifically adapted to their tactics because when you are at the top it makes you the target of everyone in the game.   I still remember them being nobody and defeating Fnatic on mirage, they werent even paid properly at that time and Flusha gifted them plane flights I think it was for a LAN.

I see they have each won the others map pick and now Dust2 decider, glad Tarik and his team arent failing badly at least.  Still slightly surprising to me, not a confident bet.

I guess they are at the point where they are burning out. This is the hardest part in esports, professional players do it non-stop. Practice over practice and continuous tournaments to attend to, that is why players can he easily burn out and retire, no choice but do streaming or coach. I guess TariK can do better but they are being covered by this new players that can dominate the majors and minors. Even s1mple is falling behind Zywoo.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the price of bitcoin increases on: June 06, 2020, 11:40:39 PM
It is actually 21M supply but the thing here is that there are those bitcoins lost so I think it is less than 21M now. Will it be still added? I don't think so, they will keep it the way it was since that is for the better of bitcoin. The less supply, the higher the demand and the higher the price. More inviting for investors.

Do not get this wrong, bitcoin total supply is 21 million and nothing can change that, the lost bitcoins will still be in circulation so far they are mined already, which means, they have suppied already.

Thanks for that explanation. I thought that if something was in hold, lost or forgotten are not included in the circulation. Well, that clears that up. But that lost and forgotten bitcoins in their wallet means that it could also affect the price positively, right? Thatis what I am going to.

1059  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: June 06, 2020, 09:54:16 PM
Always Bitcoin is the best crypto currency to invest. You may go for Ethereum next to Bitcoin and NEO followed by that. The all time favourite for everyone is Bitcoin but the price of Ethereum is low now and it is a good option to buy now since this coin has good potential and market cap. You may think of NEO as well.

everyone will think like you that investing in crypto is the most popular, of course bitcoin. but it never hurts to altcoin top rank can also be used as an alternative, because with bitcoin investment the funds needed are pretty much different from altcoin. Don't be afraid of investing in crypto because it remains safe and reliable

They will be afraid since they will never know what will happen or what will be the goal of that crypto currencies they will be invested in unless they are the popular ones. There are a lot of people that might take advantage of those people that wanted to earn from cryptos and fall victim to scams. You will be safe if you know how to identify these scams.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: June 06, 2020, 09:24:30 PM
I also wanted to say that online businesses are needed to be improved since right now that online stores are so popular, they can't handle the situation and they really needed to be improved. A lot of delieveries are being delayed and we can say that the demand for them increased but the way they take things are still the same.
