I like this coin and want to mine it, but i really don't get that mining speed fluctuation?

Yesterday when i started mining this coin i had about 60 kh/s on my i5 4.0ghz and about 100 kh/s on a 8 core xeon.
This morning the speed decreased on both so now i have about 15 kh/s on i5..
Restarted computer, speed stayed the same. I don't get it ?!
USing tpruvot's miner.
Edit:
After all day slowness, now it jumped up suddenly to 225Kh/s on i5 lol.
So is this normal?

That would make sense if it was hard to mine for everyone Unfortunately some people are taking advantage of cloud mining credits both ethically and unethically to obtain a mining advantage A small percentage is getting the majority of the mining rewards and dumping them on the market This is just a temporary problem though as the dev team is working feverishly testing out a Nvidia and Amd Miner to offset cloud mining domination. If the GPU solution is effective and is released in a timely manner, you should see things start to even off until they release a miner itt will be mid february, and then in march comes the new algo  |

It's quite easy for everyone to mine, you just need hardware, and someone to help you set everything up.
You can earn some bucks this way.
But, if you are really into mining: read forums, follow trends and happenings in the world of crypto,learn how exchanges and trading works, etc .. etc.. you can earn more with the same hardware than the one who just sets up the mining equipment and leaves it as-is.

Well as mentioned, I don't recommend using prebuilt binaries from strangers that aren't recognized by the Zcoin team. Not to say that they're malicious, but you just never know and there have been attempts in this thread before to spread questionable binaries (and they often come from the most vocal people who are against the coin).
The only binaries that should be trusted are those that come from our links and maybe @aizensou who is also a dev with us.
That is why I am using the miner from the link you provided. I did download the other miner that was posted, scanned it for malware/viruses (came up clean), but still didn't want to use it before knowing exactly what it was. Thanks again for the EXCELLENT support!  The link i gave you is ok, i just uploaded the miner for myself there, it's the optiminer version, i guess it's the same as zcoin posted  |

Is there a "pre-built" standalone CPU Miner for Windows users that doesn't require compiling so many files using 3 different command prompts to build? I would mine this coin if there was a Windows executable file I could download, quickly configure a .bat file, and start mining on suprnova's pool..

This should work fine: --xintensity 512 -w 192 -g 1 If you get hw errors, try lower the xintensity. thanks mr. nicehash Please don't use xintensity for XMR. It won't work. You have to use rawintensity. --rawintensity 512 is safe, but increasing rawintensity slightly could work and should yield more hash power. True, i couldn't get it work with xintensity at all. Using --rawintensity 512 -w 4 -g 1 its working but its slower A LOT than claymore xmr. |

i can't find the info how much is the pool fee in % on the monero pool ?
All mining pool hub's pool fee is 0.9% Come and mine together. Thanks Oh i am mining a long time ago on your pool, just never knew the fee LOL |

I mined on a few window pc. but after 24 hours. hashrate in my moniter pool was reduced by about 50%. And my earning receive reduced. anyone know why?  Maybe more miners, bigger difficulty, less coins ? |
