I do understand, as a temporary fix, i am starting sgminer first to put fixed fan speed on.
Any more convenient workaround would be great! even temporary. (radeon wattman/afterburner - is not a solution, as it`s not reliable and cannot be deployed/tested fast on hundred of rigs.)
I cannot use your miner directly as ~60C (def temperature fans starts spinup) is too much for lexa cards to mine 24/7.
Just found some workaround myself.. Whoever need ADL fan control after turning off adl w SRBMiner - could use: https://github.com/BackupGGCode/overdrive5this is quite old, on which cards and drivers is it working for you ? |

I have a question, I'm using right now sgm miner for my RX570 to mine Electroneum, and the performance about 950 h/s
I checked few pages of this tread to find out whet performance figures your miner can do, but fail! I'm sure you have some figures for RX card and vegas, can you put them into the first page?
no because the results are not same for everyone, same cards with different straps can do +-200hs even more. So there is no exact number, you have to try yourself. |

what are disadvantages of --adldisable?
No temperature reporting , nothing special  it also mean no temperature control? no target temp holding? turning off adl fixed all my 12 cards rigs. now they work on your miner, however I think there should be a feature to at least set fixed fan speed during start, no control needed later then. Thank you! this is a temporary fix (turning it off), i will look into fixing it |

will the balance algorithm be implemented ? like load-balance to gatelessgate?

I just upgraded from 1.2.3 to 1.2.6 and my hashrate dropped about 200h/s per rx580 when using 0 for intensity. Can still use 1.2.3 and get a normal hashrate.
Have switched to manually specifying intensity.
V1.2.5
- Lowered auto detected intensity for CN Heavy algo lot of cards crashed on heavy algo on auto intensity. You know what intensity you had, just put that and it will be the same. |

strange, some guys using it with 12 gpu
weird. can you just build special versions that reverts to 1.2.4 but with additional timeout options? wait, it was working ok with 9 gpu on 1.2.4 ? yes, 1.2.4 is working fine pressing h with more than 10 gpu. V1.2.5
- Added optional parameters timeout, retry_time, and giveup_limit
- Hashrate is now displayed per GPU (not threads)
- Lowered auto detected intensity for CN Heavy algo
seems that one breaks it. it cant be the lowering auto detect intensity. thanks for the info, im gonna check it. unfortunately i dont have 6+ rigs, so your feedback is very welcome Does it crash only when you press h, or after 3 min too, when auto hashrate display comes ? it eventually crash, i didnt notice for how many minutes. and yes, it crash suddenly, after pressing h, it shows gpu 0-9 then boom crash. i have 13 gpu rig. all of them rx 570 4gb i got it, it was a very stupid stupid mistake...fixed now, please re-download v.1.2.6 from Mega. I did not want to give it a new versioning number as nothing else was changed. Please report is it working |

I'm mining with heavy algo. Will dev donation work? If not, can I get a dev sumo or haven address to donate to using the charity feature?
charity mining was removed from version 1.2.4 , and this is exactly the reason why. Too much algos, there would be problems if you would mine for ex monerov7 but charity isn't the same algo.. Devfee works as expected, for every algo there should be no problems anymore. Getting duplicate share errors when connecting to devfee..... download the latest version 1.2.6 |
