I used Srbminer for IPBC
After about 1 hour, i don't know why have not accept result from pool. I must restart SRBMiner

probably pool raised diff so you did not find 50 shares a minute Smiley
i dont see any rejects here.

How do I need to enter email address for nanopool notification, where exactly? In the password field password: x:mail... or address.worker/email?

From nanopool:

Examples for address, payment-ID, worker and email parameters:

Mining to exchange with payment-ID, worker and email:
ADDRESS.PAYMENT-ID.WORKER/EMAIL
Mining to local wallet without payment-ID, with worker and email:
ADDRESS.WORKER/EMAIL
Mining to exchange with payment-ID and worker:
ADDRESS.PAYMENT-ID.WORKER
Mining to local wallet without payment-ID, with worker:
ADDRESS.WORKER

you put it in the wallet parameter
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.3 on: April 17, 2018, 04:43:41 AM
V1.4.3
- Ultraheavy algo name changed to ipbc
- Fixed devfee mining got stuck

just a quick fix, so devfee mining won't get stuck sometimes (i hope).
Also changed ipbc coin algo name from ultraheavy to ipbc, cause ultraheavy isn't appropriate algo name for it anymore Smiley

So if you want to mine IPBC coin use it like this in config :

"cryptonight_type" : "ipbc"

Hi dorktor83. I'm stick at your miner, although have AwesomeMiner. Ya, SRBMiner is kicking asses!  Grin

But patrike spoke if SRBMiner has a working API he could add it in AwesomeMiner support (would be great). Do you have plans to make an API for SRBMiner?

thanks Smiley
yes , i have it in plan, smos dev is also waiting on me to make an API Smiley

Hello everyone!

Does this miner support TeraScale/VLIW Radeon GPUs?

it should work, but you wont get speeds like on old claymore.
Which card do you have?
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.2 on: April 16, 2018, 07:41:24 PM
How do I put an address and paymentID for the wallet in this miner?

depends from pool.
you can find info on every pool how to mine with address and payment id.

For ex :

xmrpool.eu uses this format wallet@paymentid
nanopool uses this format wallet.paymentid

you set this in the wallet parameter in config file

The algo is: CN Light Custom v3

Actual miner working: IPBC miner version 1.1.2 here: https://github.com/ipbc-dev/ipbc-miner/releases

Wallet - important:
Update to version 1.1.2.0 https://ipbc.io/wallet
Give it some time to synchronize

In this time it's the only miner works after the fork?

No, SRBMiner is also working. Altough i will change algo name in next version.

GPU0: Radeon RX 580 Series [Ellesmere] [8192 MB][Intensity 249.0][W: 8][T: 1][BUS_ID: 1]

they first called it ultraheavy cause the sp was 4mb, few days before the fork they reduced it from 4mb to 1mb (like cryptonight lite).
So i left the name ultraheavy in SRBminer.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.2 on: April 16, 2018, 01:53:37 PM
Okay guys... I got it... the program at intensity "0" was setting all four cards to "118"

So... I changed GPU-0 to "100" manually and it's working now =)

12% faster than XMR-STAK.

Thanks for the assistance!

just wanted to tell you that set intensities by hand, you can get out probably more hash than just leaving on 0 (auto).
Not every gpu is same, and sometimes auto detected value works great for one, but not an other, same card.

Also try 2 threads per gpu, you will get better results Smiley

I'm getting rejected for low difficulty shares and got my IP ban on V1.4.2 before this I was using V1.3.2 and it was ok...

or just use the right algo  Smiley

Im having problem with the miner while trying to connect to dev pool. It just seems to be stuck and only shows hash rate again and again and nothing else.
Also it seems to be happen randomly.

so.its not every time when devfee mining starts?
please could you put --logfile log.txt in .bat so we can get more info

SRBminer is ready for the fork!

You can test it on the IPBC testnet, here are the settings :

1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.2 on: April 15, 2018, 10:24:50 AM
V1.4.2
- Double checked and prepared for IPBC coin fork on block 54881
- Small speedup on some RX series cards
- Small speedup on R9 380 cards

Tomorrow IPBC will fork to their new algo, called ultraheavy (which isn't really ultraheavy anymore, altough it was in the first test period).
Get prepared, you can test it on their testnet with this config :

config.txt:

{
"cryptonight_type" : "ultraheavy",
"intensity" : 0,
"double_threads" : false,
"target_temperature" : 0
}

pools.txt:

{
"pools" :
[
   {"pool_use_tls" : false, "pool" : "54.37.94.172:5555", "wallet" : "bxdSJiR35QuSDyjAmS1Ud1H8pzCzyFuuybWyFNv8nhFiKQhur6auKYSAe6UGv4XUfwPj1CcE6mZtKhW SATXzUf3o21poG9YH1", "password" : "x", "location" : "europe"}
]
}
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 on: April 14, 2018, 11:46:02 AM
After 7 hours I’ve got 9 hw errors and 17 block expires on nanopool. Is this normal? What’s most worrying are those hw errors. HWinfo reports no errors, though. Really appreciate your opinions.

expired block means the share you sent got old because the block expired in the meantime.
Hw error means gpu result did not pass cpu validation. So if you want try lowering intensity, or mem clock for ex.

take of the commenting (/* and */)

Thank you so much.

Figured out autostart of Devcon.exe and the start.bat with the blockchain driver.
Hashing at 2060-2070 on Vega 64s.
Auto reboots on fail and up and running automatically within 2 min.

Rockin!

(Now just to play with tweaks on individual cards for less crashing)

does that means no hashrate drop on  vega?
Could you share a short how-to-do-it so other Vega users can set it up too ? Smiley
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 on: April 13, 2018, 08:02:13 PM
Hi.Is it possible to run 2 instances of SRBMiner? I need to run some gpu's on heavy and some on V7,tried,but unsuccessful Sad.
May be in next releases??
Thanks.

you can but i think your computer would freeze instantly Cheesy

make 2 bat files, 2 config files and 2 pools files
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 on: April 13, 2018, 07:32:34 PM
With all these new cryptonight types, it would be better to keep that parameter in the pools file per pool.
Now it's not possible to keep all coin configurations in the same directory.

Config parameters probably also has to be different for different cryptonight variants. At least, that's the case with XMR-STAK and others.

yes, that is what --config and --pools parameters are for, so you can have all config & pool files in one directory, you just tell the miner which one to use.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 on: April 13, 2018, 05:16:05 PM
Can someone give me an example of commands for simple bat file, this is too complicate with separate files config, pools etc...
Can we use single bat file to run this miner, like with Claymore for example?

why is it complicated ?

config.txt :

{
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv7",
"intensity" : 0,
"double_threads" : true,
"target_temperature" : 0,
}

pools.txt :

{
"pools" :
[
   {"pool_use_tls" : true, "pool" : "pool-address", "wallet" : "wallet", "password" : "x", "location" : "europe"},
   {"pool_use_tls" : true, "pool" : "pool-address2", "wallet" : "wallet2", "password" : "x", "location" : "europe"}
]
}

Then just run start.bat and off you go.
