2981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: March 21, 2018, 06:06:07 PM
i dont think xrp will see again 1 dolar.

please invest wisely to xrp. you can lose most of your money when you trading.

You can lose most of your money when trading any coin...except that XRP was THE coin in 2017, if you bought
XRP with BTC at 01.01.2017, you had 3500% gain at the end of year
Because the value of the ripple is too small, that makes manipulation occurs very easily, profit 3500% is just a number that is generated by whales, it does not make too much sense, it's all just a bubble, it does not prove anything about ripple. What I see very clearly about the ripple is that it does not have a bright future, all the potential and contributions only in technology, the coin does not get too much attention, putting trust in the ripple will be an unwise decision in the future

I like my 1 BTC turned into 35 BTC, thank you...you can think me " putting trust in the ripple will be an unwise decision in the future", but I think it was wise

I put 20 out of those 35 BTC back into XRP, we can bookmark this and speak again in a year to see who was wise and who  was not

I have a few questions
When it will be available on exodus wallet, you thought about being there too?
When the website will be again online? exp have that landing page for a few months.
More crypto exchange websites, when?

check the stream twitch/expanseofficial

i'll reach out to exodus to see if we can get on there.

this is what exodus wants to list expanse.

3. Our typical ask is between 2-5% of the total asset distribution to be assigned to Exodus depending on the team, project history, and advisor status.
4. In addition to this, we require an upfront payment between 1 - 4 Million USD depending on the same qualifications above.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

lol

Now people that I argue with about merit system will abuse me for this post, but what more than "lol" is there to be said Smiley

XRP is unique in that it has a fast growing company driving it's adoption.  Ripple continues to gain traction, so if Banks can further save $ by integrating the use of XRP it won't take but a year for them to integrate (every year you need to show cost improvement vs prior year, so it may be an easy operational lever to pull.)  XRP has a higher likelihood of long term success (ie, adoption) for this reason.

It's certainly not LOVED by the decentralization crowd, but for pragmatists it makes a lot of sense.

I kind of think about this while some people think that banks might just create their own blockchain and ripple version. Another thing is the huge xrp supply still under the dev team and its former co founder no stellar ceo. Banks will just buy it?

Why would Bank of China use Bank of America coin? Or vice versa?
2985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Litecoin on: March 21, 2018, 12:04:40 PM
I do not think that Litecoin is the best investment coin. This is a very lazy crypto currency, which shows not very good results in comparison with the same Bitcoin.

I would suggest you to some more research about litecoin before saying such things. The team is very active and recently introduced Litepay (payment system). New developments will continue to follow.

Are there any news about Litepay? I have heard it is suspended for indefinite time.

I think Litepay is fine, its credit card part that's not working yet...sadly, that's what most people wait for

I think you did not finish reading my post.

You shouldnt bother going back and forth with Metroid, he is one of the biggest trolls on this site. Go look at his posts, there is nothing meaningful about them, just conspiracy theories and mockery of people. He adds zero value to the community.

I doubt that is true, he get a lot of merit, if that would be truth, he would not get merit
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Litecoin on: March 20, 2018, 12:14:32 PM
Litecoin has grown to become the second largest cryptocurrency on the market. It is now often characterised as the silver to bitcoin's gold. Litecoin is an experimental digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Thats 2014 news, welcome to 2018 Cheesy

I think price will stop falling after this miner comes to market

...weaker ASIC owners probably dumping SCs before that one

hit the market
2989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think bitmain is secretly mining ETH with ASICs? on: March 20, 2018, 10:36:21 AM
There are many reasons for the network hash rate to have increased, but IMO, a Bitmain ASIC conspiracy ain't one. Daily media hype towards the end of last year, $20K BTC and $1300 ETH, which on a yearly basis outperformed BTC by almost 10000% a the end of last year and beginning of this year brought in lot's of new miners at a peak, as it always does. Another factor that limited the network hash rate was the ETH ICE AGE MAY-OCT artificially increased block times and difficulty. Once the Byzantium fork happened in the middle of OCT it ended the ICE AGE and profitability increased right around the time Crypto started the end of the year bull run, which brought miners back to ETH. The most recent hash rate increase is from Vega miners switching to ETH after a collapse in Cryptonight profitability.

I gave you merit on this, its basically a turn of events, I do also mined XMR at ICE AGE however it started at the end of the year when ETH is way more profitable than mining Cryptonight, when Vegas were out and GPU shortage happened medium type GPU's like Rx550, were forcibly sold out and guess what, they also added to mine ETH.

You forget one important thing, there was not enough GPUs on the market to support such increase in hashrate...unless AMD or its partners were selling
through other channels to big miners
2990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: March 20, 2018, 10:32:19 AM
Expanse being the first streammineable coin was so amazing.

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Get coins for watching video stream?

Some deeper explanation would be great.

basically, you come here

https://www.twitch.tv/expanseofficial

watch video stream, talk with developers, ask questions, get answers, and collect your EXP reward after its finished

If you want to know when stream will happen, you come to

https://discord.me/expanse

and check (and talk to developers) and get random airdops there, too
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 hashrates on: March 20, 2018, 10:08:49 AM
so a while back i ordered:
5x https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B076XX769R/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
at a pre-order price of 98euro + delivery

What would you recommend to mine on these? I was thinking of mining Ethash but it seems most people are saying cryptonight is better...
I generally run that on overpowered CPU rig's just to weigh off some of the costly load those rigs have at idle.

I can see mos tpeople suggesting aroudn lets say 550hs for Cryptonight vs lets say 15mh/s ethash... Now to me right now that makes ethash more profitable on most coins... and I would expect if i mined eth for the value to increase over the year more than say "monero" in terms of %'ages...

So why are people mining cryptonight on these?

Well, judging by this page

https://www.cryptunit.com/

it seems that cryptonight algorithm is dead for CPU/GPU mining, and ASICs took over

So, back to ethash, although there are doubts that ASICs are taking over it too,
it seems more profitable ATM
2992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think bitmain is secretly mining ETH with ASICs? on: March 20, 2018, 09:18:22 AM
BITMAIN money hungry company ,,, they never get enough ... it seems Chinese government started to investigate them... invoices, tax, bitcoincash, probably they got reported by Chinese farms ....

Money laundering ....Currency manipulation (LTC, Bitcoincash ....)

After these yes I believe that they have ASICs capable to mine etherium ... they should also make a fork and you will see how the used ASICs they will hit the market as new new ....

Greed is capitalist trait, and China is communist country, or I missed something?

Do we have a links to the Pre mined coins, the wallets they are stored in.
Heavy volumes at low price, this is fishy, devs selling out due to taxes they have to pay and being scared of BTC price drop that only happened due to google news.

If we dont have links to their wallets and the pre mined coins then nobody knows whenever these coins starts to circulate and whenever the devs are selling.

The prices are higher now than ever.

That depends on the region I guess, over here polaris cards peaked at around €400/each in late summer, they have been ~€350 since 2018 started and now with the recent loss of profits I see them move for as low as €250

Wheres that, they're €400+ in Croatia
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: March 19, 2018, 04:28:23 PM

It is hard to collect money from crypto if we do not have the capital or do not dare to have capital.
Because it will be useless. 20-30 $ it's just for internet, and not enough for eating.

Think about it again.

Not everyone lives in a rich country Smiley

not worth it, first you have to play alot and get good at it just to get a top5 spot and earn nothing

The top player will win $30 USD worth, 2nd and 3rd place will get $25 USD each, 4th and 5th players will win $15 each, and 6th to 10th players will win $10 dollars worth in EXP while the 2nd last player will win $10 dollars.

Yeh, I've tried a couple of these "Play games and earn free coins." apps and, like you said, are not worth the effort put in, you have to be very very good to earn just a few dollars. You would be better off using you time investing in the coin.

If you have better ways to earn coins, of course its waste of time...but if you don't...why not try?

I had a negative experience with BIOS update, firmware fell and had to carry to the service center for the recovery. You have to be careful.

You can usually do it yourself, if you have another card, or onboard video

But of course, always be careful about what you're doing
