The Lakers vs Brooklyn game tomorrow is a preview of their possible match-up in the NBA finals and we will gonna see which team has less chance to win the champion after the game tomorrow. The Lakers have their superstars healthy and the Nets will also play well with Kevin Durant and James Harden tomorrow which will make it the most watch game and will gonna be a slap for the Lakers if they gonna lose this one. Hope they will gonna win though since they started with a devastating loss with GSW.

Honestly I think the better matchup which will be a dogfight will be the 4-0 bulls and the 3-1 knicks.  Bulls haven't beaten anyone really good yet but their team has greatly improved, and the Knicks look even stronger than they did last year early on.  Kemba dropping 5 dimes in what was a blowout of Philly last night.  Knicks look legit, and have depth to get through tough stretches.

You are right mate, it was really a dog fight between this two, (was wondering why it hasn't been discussed).

Knicks won though by just 1 point, but when everybody thought that the Bulls was out, they come back strong in the last 1:40 to cut the lead.

And they have the chance to win it with 4 seconds remaining, it was DeRozan who took the last shoot and not Lavine, but it was an airball. Both of this teams are legit in the East.

Today only bets on two matches S. Tsitsipas vs F. Tiafoe on under and FAA vs Norrie on over.
At ATP Saint Petersburg M. Cilic vs K. Khachanov, Cilic has lost his touch when he returns to play after a long injury but Khachanov sometimes not consistent with his performance, this match difficult to predict who wins but pick over 20.5 maybe a good choice.

I also have Tsitsipas who is top seed for the win along with Norrie.

Some of the other games look very good especially for the seeded players. I have
bets on the seeded players, I think Swartzman could be the trickiest one though.

Monfils v Swartzman (8.)
Ruud (4) v Sonego
Novak v Sinner (7)
DevMinaur v Zverev (2)

Norrie vs FAA is about to start, I have Norrie at handicap -1.5. Didn't want to bet the totals as this might be tricky. Norrie is playing very hard in here, while FAA is somewhat very inconsistent and seems can't go over the round of 16 as much as he wanted to.

Not yet betting on other games, but I like the chances of Schwartzman against Monfils.

And then Zverev over A de Minaur. So let's see how my first bet goes, if it's a W then I will continue to bet on the other games.

Good call on making the bet on Norrie -1.5 handicap games. You won it even tho Norrie lost in the end and will now struggled to reach those top 8 places to take him to the final tournament of the year. Also Tsitsipas again lost to Tiafoe i think he just cannot beat him on any tournament

I still lost it mate, totals is 16 for Norrie and 15 for FAA, so that's only 1 handicap point, not enough. He should have won this match if my bet will get through. Lots of chance for Norrie, however, I'll give credit to FAA, when you thought that he was out specially with his performance in the first set, he suddenly find his tennis and the tennis Gods gifted him with a big win.  Smiley

Alcaraz vs Berrettini - I have a feeling that this will go down to 2 sets only.
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 28, 2021, 06:28:20 PM
^^ Right, me too, with FAA inconsistency, and then Norrie mental toughness it's hard to go against him in this match. When I saw the score in the first set, I said that Norrie will win because FAA usually broke down in the first set with that kind of score. But it was the opposite, and then when I woke up to check the score, I was surprised that I've lost my bet. Waiting for Tsitsipas vs Tiafoe match, hopefully Tsitsipas can cover the spread in this one to at least make it 1-1 for me in this tournament.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 28, 2021, 06:05:22 PM
This fight is getting closer now, I still have Canelo Alvarez winning this one, but not sure what rounds Caleb are going to fall.

And it seems that Canelo is really wanted to score a big win here against Caleb and we all know how motivated Canelo is in this fight. He even goes to the public and says that Caleb should be prepare his chin because he is going to look for it from the first round.
2985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 28, 2021, 05:19:28 PM
They mounted a come back, but then turnovers after turnovers that kills their chances.

Westbrook contributed big time on TO, the Lakers has a total of 17 turnovers on that game while Westbrook owned 10 of it. That's insane because he had a triple-double but was unable to manage the ball very well, this is one of the worst games of Westbrook in terms of turnover, hopefully, it will not happen again.

This is very unfortunate. WB both played well and bad at the same time. Yes, he was very good statistically as he got a triple-double, but those turnovers cost them the match in my opinion. I think I'd rather let him scoreless but not make those TO's. I hope he works on this and comes back strong.

Westbrook suddenly becomes at the number 2 in most turnover this season due to that high turnover.

https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/player/_/stat/turnovers/table/offensive/sort/avgTurnovers/dir/desc

However, I don't think Westbrook will be at the top in terms of TO average this season, it's just only one game, one mistake and we forget to weigh that the triple-double is more important and that' a huge contribution to the Lakers who are still figuring out how to be consistent.

Yeah, but it was a very costly mistake for him to have a 10 TO. They could have won the game and him having 20 OT and the fans are going to forget about it. But having triple down, and then 10 TO really magnify for the Lakers are we all know all eyes are on them.

And without Lebron, just shows that they need to jive, otherwise this can happen again. Blowing off a big lead and then losing to a 0-4 team.

Lol, who said that Bitcoin or Ethereum is for short term investment?

That's argument alone is very wrong in the beginning. As far as Shiba goes, yes it's volume is now even greater than ETH, but look at how the wallet is distributed, there's even one bagholder who's worth billion right now because of the huge pump on the price.

And don't blindly trust anyone making such predictions, as the saying goes, do your own research. So that you will learn and not going to blame anyone if you lose your money.

Or maybe the Feds themselves setup their on dark market see who is buying and then make an arrest. Just like in an offline scenario wherein you talk to someone i.e. hire them to murder someone, buy some drugs, pedo and other criminals.

Or maybe the FBI and other government agencies are also hacking those dark marketplace to break the anonymity of users. Or maybe they got on the hosting site itself, get what they needed to track and indict any individual with serious crimes.

I love the Bulls this year though, but they need to have a game against a top team in the East to be able to say that they are for real. This is their strongest start since the Michael Jordan era, it might be early to say, but they are one of the dark horse team right now. With Zach Lavine, DeRozan, Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. They really look very solid.

I don't think it will be a laker/Nets final.  Nets aren't deep enough and Lakers need to get it together.

Both teams are still struggling, specially the Lakers, although they've already win 2 games in a row. It was very close and not against a top tier team. They still have a lot of work to be done.
2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 27, 2021, 04:52:07 PM
Does anyone knows in which weight class they are going to fight? Last time Logan Paul fought, he has to keep his weight in a limit, because Mayweather is a welterweight. In the fight before that Logan was something between cruiserweight and light heavy. Mike Tyson is a heavyweight. Will they have a weight compromise or someone will have to gain or cut? If Logan has to gain, will he be quick enough for Tyson speed, as he is quite fast for grandpa in his instagram videos.

I don't think that Mike Tyson can go below 210 lbs here, so it's really up to Logan Paul to go up in weight so at least cruiserweight or light heavyweight. And if my memory serves me right, in the Mayweather fight he weight in like a super middleweight.

So good question, maybe weight will not be an issue here, both can come in with their regular weight fight and then make money.

Hurkacz's defeat in this tournament will open up Norrie's chances of reaching the ATP Finals

Yes, of course. An early defeat for Hurkacz is the ideal situation for Norrie, as they are fighting each other for the last spot in the ATP Finals. I think Sinner has come back into contention too, but really it's between these three. FAA is too far back, and doesn't have time to make up the points difference.
Here I am, hoping that Murray continues his come back and wins another match today. Funny thing I never liked him when he was on the top and now I am cheering for him to come back to the top Smiley

Alcaraz was in great form earlier this season but he dropped off a little lately. He is also very experienced playing indoors so that should be enough for Murray. I even backed him with ML bet today, it was decent @1.6 odds.

Score is tied 2-2 in the first set, no breaks yet. But it has the footprint of another great match specially coming from Murray who has somewhat playing good tennis lately.

If I'm not mistaken, Alcaraz after playing so good earlier this season has suffered some injuries that has cause him to slow down a bit. And probably trying to regain some in his past 2 tournaments. So let's see how it goes.

Berrettini vs  Basilashvili next, I'm thinking of betting on the under here with Berrettini winning in 2 sets.
2992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 27, 2021, 08:44:08 AM
^^ They could be on the same card, co-main event according to this report:

Quote
Earlier this month, WBC bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire revealed that he was “finalizing” a December 11th clash with interim champion and mandatory challenger Reymart Gaballo. Now, the reliable Julius Julianis reports that the fight could serve as half of a Dubai doubleheader with John Riel Casimero vs. Paul Butler, which was already targeted for that date.

https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/10/26/22747243/nonito-donaire-vs-reymart-gaballo-could-join-casimero-butler-december-11-boxing-news-2021

That will be an interesting twist as we can see both fights in the same night. And since Donaire and Casimero are now under the same management, most likely this fight is going to happen.

So let's just wait for the official announcement, it will be huge if this is going to be true two championship fight in one card and involving fighters that will potentially clash in the future.

This rumor is very positive, I hope Casimero would also confirm this through his youtube channel. I'm one of his followers so it's nice to hear some good news regarding this fight. Two Filipino champions are going to defend their title against their respective opponents on the same day, that's a good treat for the Filipino boxing fans and to all the fans all over the world.

3 out of 4 Filipinos in the main card, although both are going to face each other. But still this is really huge for Filipino boxing fans around the world as we wanted to see someone to cheer on since the great Manny Pacquiao has retired.

And since are both sign with Probellum promotions, definitely this can happen.

All we have to do is wait for the announcement after every thing has been set.

Lakers still not out of the clutches of Grizzlies, 106-102.

James and Monk hit back to back 3's. But the Grizzlies responded back with a 5-0 run in the last minute or two. So it's going to be another close game and Lakers although has the lead is not sure of taking their first win tonight. Last 5 minutes, anything can happen so let's see how it goes.

Lakers got the win indeed, but it was a very difficult process just to get in the winning column. It's so close that they didn't covered the initial spread (-4.5). Ja Morant had another 30+ games in just his 3rd game of the seasons.

Lakers got 6 players in double digit, but it was a chess match in the last 40 seconds and the good thing is that they didn't missed their FT. So finally, they got the needed W in their column. But still a long way to go for the team to live up to the hype.
2994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: October 25, 2021, 01:56:45 AM
Shakur was too much for Herring, I was not expecting that Herring did not have an answer on Shakur's attack, he maybe have a strong chin that he would not go down but the ref saw that he was not anymore responding to the punches of Stevenson, so instead of increasing the damage, the ref decided to stop the fight and declare Stevenson the champion, he is now a two-division world champion, congrats to him.

The referee's decision is right and on time there are too many punches going to the head and face of Herring and the referee sense that he cannot win anymore because he is now defensive and lack the snap on the punches.
He is a now daring Valdez for a unification which is good this is a year of unification I'm sure promoters will make this fight happen, that's going to be interesting.

Pretty obvious that Herring doesn't have answer's to Shakur offense, and even if he tries to get closer and have 2-4 combinations, he either misses it or it hit Shakur but with no effect because his punch doesn't have that snap.

Valdez has been calling him as well, so the feeling is mutual. It's just up to their promotional company Top Rank to set it up and satisfy both camp regarding the money and let's see who is the best at 130 division with all the belts in line.
2995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 25, 2021, 01:19:58 AM
Sinner took the title in the Antwerp Open, it was so clinical that the score was lopsided, not even Over in this match, 6-2, 6-2. Good win by Sinner against a tough Schwartzman but Sinner was playing perfect in this tournament.

As I have predicted, it will be Sinner on this one. And he seems that he has improved a lot in terms of mental toughness and tennis IQ. He knows how to read his opponents strengths and weaknesses and turn it into points. Congrats to those who bet on him.

Now we go to Vienna Open, lot of good matches already.

Carreno-Busta vs Basilashvili, - I will go Under 22.5 @1.83 for a start.

I haven't look at this tournament yet, but by quick glance this tournament is already good as most of the top ten are entered in this tournament.
2996  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $66,974.77 on: October 24, 2021, 12:56:45 PM
looks like the Dive has gone and now recovery is starting ? seeing it back to almost 62k from the hard drop down to 60k is a good sign that we are now heading to another ATH in which 70k , this is the barricade need to be broken for Bitcoin price taking another hype to 80k.
if continues to grow then Yes 100k is not far from happening this year alone of 2021.
I wouldn't get so excited, don't get me wrong, I'm all about Bitcoin surpassing new records etc, however, on the other hand, I prefer to be moderate about Bitcoin breaking records so quick. Similarly to a few months ago, when a new all-time high was reached, shortly after the Elon Musk incident, the new record didn't last long and quickly plummeted down to $30,000.

Yes we did plummet to $28k but then recovered in the next two and 1/2 months and getting to a new all time high. So. I wouldn't call that moderate recovery, it was very quick and fast bounce back.

Price volatility is expected, however, it's more preferable to seek a steadier growth, rather than anticipate a quick new all time high.

Definitely, but if you look at it, if in the next two and 1/2 months we might see bitcoin hitting at least $150k based on it's previous run. So I think everyone is really getting excited about it. Maybe this December or early January 2022 rally.
2997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 24, 2021, 12:02:01 PM
Dallas Mavericks is hot. Luka Doncic 1 rebound shy for his first triple double of the season. But the predictions could be right that he will be the season MVP. He keeps on putting money on that stat sheet. Kaching!  Grin

He is the favourite to win the MVP this regular season, so I'm not surprised if he pulls it off. Hopefully though his Dallas can at least go to the finals in the West, very tough division though, so let's see.

As for the Bulls, the chemistry is already there, Ball, DeRozan and Caruso are really playing solid. And Lavine doesn't really need to push hard every game as someone besides him can produce more point. He just need to be there every game as the glue for the team. Hopefully they can go and bounce to the playoff this year.
2998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 24, 2021, 11:13:26 AM
I'm not thinking that way. Gaballo is a rising star and if bettors will place a bet on him, it's worth betting and not actually can be considered as a huge risk. Donaire's experience and firepower can't be ignored and even at this age, he can still explode but it doesn't mean he has all the advantages on that match.

In terms of betting, there's no comfort bet whether you bet on Donaire and Gaballo. I don't see Donaire as a Favorite nor Gaballo as an underdog. The latter just becomes an underdog because of Donaire's experience. Gaballo's 24 KOs out of 20 matches should not be treated as an easy task just because most of his opponents are far from being popular.

I'm not with Gaballo to win but I'm sure he will give the veteran Donaire a close match and possibly an upset.

Donaire is considered already as a veteran boxer equipped with enough fight experience from his past fights however the rising star Gaballo is also a type of a fighter that the opponent shouldn't be comfortable with. Gaballo is younger than Donaire when it comes to age but this young fighter have had an experience already with a 24 fights and 20KO considered as underdog because of the experience of Donaire compare to him but betting on Gaballo may not be considered as a huge risk. I had seen the fights of Donaire inside the ring and this fighter is exceptional however with this upcoming fight I go with Gaballo instead.

Betting on the underdog in a fight with a good odd is already good and not a risk in my opinion. Because if the underdog upsets the favourite then obviously it will be a good win.

And in this fight, Gaballo has a good chance to win against Donaire because of his youth. Of course, our sentimental favourite will still be Donaire because he has bring so much glory to PH in the last 15 years or so, like Manny Pacquiao. But this is a fight that could really be the passing of the torch to the new guy that will carry it again for PH in the next coming years.
2999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 24, 2021, 10:49:12 AM
What do you think guys? are they capable of getting into the playoffs after winning this game?

A one-game can't decide the overall outcome.

Regarding their chance to make it on the playoffs, can't conclude right away as we have only seen roughly 2-3 games played by teams this season. For the record, Memphis Grizzlies always finished at the bottom of the standing in the competitive Western Conference. They got into playoffs last year but go thru via play-in tournament. Unfortunately, got eliminated by the Utah Jazz in the first round and only manage to get 1 win. Take note, prior to that, their last playoffs appearance was way back in 2017. That's how they struggle in Western Conference.

LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies has started I wanted to see another dunk like this.

Don't worry. You will see lots of dunk highlights like that courtesy of Ja Morant throughout the season.

Can't forget about the Bulls though, you got some highflyers on that roster as well, you got Caruso, DeRozan, LaVine, Green and Zo.  Cool

This season is packed with some crazy highflyers from each roster, I'm still waiting for Jalen Green's first highlight dunk.

Even in the Cavs side there are a lot of high flyers as well, such as Jared Allen. I also loved what Bernie is doing, putting three 7'0 footers at the same time and clogged the middle. And it was a comeback win for the Cavs, as the Hawks leads as much as 12 points and then they come back slowly. I love how Sexton and Okoro covered Trae Young in this game. They really gave him a hard time and it really help that the offensive player initiating a contact is no longer a foul on the defensive player as Trae is known for this.
3000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: October 24, 2021, 07:51:41 AM
Too bad for Herring he got cut in his right eyebrow, from that he can't afford punches from Stevenson. Almost Herring's punch got dodged by Stevenson, that's make Stevenson more confident to punch Herring. He such a talented kid, no doubt why he's favorited in this fight even though he's a challenger.

Right, Stevenson was too fast for Herring, the right jab started the tempo for Shakur and Jamel wasn't able to recover from that because he was damage early. And his defense is good as well as he dodge a lot of shots of Herring throughout the fight. The referee really needs to step up because it's a one side beating coming from Stevenson. Too bad for bettors who is looking for a Herring upset tonight.

Yeah, Shakur looks for very sharp from the get go, and he seems to be the bigger guy as he dictated everything and Herring has no answer even though his corner says that he needs to commit. Hopefully he can bounce back from this poor performance and I give credit for Shakur for showing a better version of himself every fight. Time to setup a fight with Oscar Valdez now since he has a belt now.
