301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 02, 2020, 05:00:52 PM
That is the reason why hunters are labelled dumpers. Most bounty hunters do hunting for their daily need and that is the reason majority go to exchange to dump token. However, I will like to tell you that not all hunters dump tokens. Some still keep token for a while especially if the project is believable. There is no guarantee on anything. Investors that received a huge bonus too dump token too. If you want to clear my doubt, check out the currently ongoing kingswap

303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some things will never work in crypto world on: November 01, 2020, 07:56:06 PM
1,2 and 3 projects in this category that I know end up abandon the project or run away with the investors money. Green energy is the most hilarious of them all. I literarily think non of them actually need a blockchain technology before they can develop a artificial intelligent project but most of them are just looking for a way to create a token to be sold to investors. Going for IPO would have been better
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How cryptocurrencies could allow financial inclusion ? on: November 01, 2020, 04:29:29 PM
Government operate a centralized system which means if they are going to adopt crypto, it is not going to be anonymous. They will want to know everyone that own crypto and how much they have for them to institute the right amount of tax to be paid by holders. I do not think massive adoption of crypto currency by the government is possible to massive usage of the underlying technology is what I think is possible especially for better and robust financial services
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we red tag and create a flag for ICO bounty managers that do not escrow on: October 31, 2020, 09:18:15 AM
Unless the bitcointalk staff makes Escrow for bounty hunting compulsory and the bounty manager did not comply. That is when we can admit that the bounty manager has breaking the rule and can be red tagged. Since nothing like this exist, there is nothing anyone can do to them. Many of them do write disclaimer post at the bottom of a bounty post, stating that they are not part of the team
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: October 31, 2020, 09:13:37 AM
Escrow is good because you end up getting your token but that still not justify that you get to trade your tokens when the exchange list the token unless the team does not change the smart contract address. However, many of them do not want to use Escrow because they rely solely on the money contributed by the investors. Some of them do not have a fully functional platform
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC trading pair or USDT trading pair? on: October 30, 2020, 07:13:12 PM
USDT pair is better. Crypto is very volatile and trading stable coin against crypto will bring stability and reduces the chance of losing your profit to market volatility. When you decide to trade BTC/ETH and you take profit in ETH, sudden fall in the price of ETH will reduce your profit earn but USDT price is very stable and volatility is minimized
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 29, 2020, 05:56:57 PM
Non is the best but escrow is better. However, providing Escrow for hunters still does not mean hunters will not be cheated. Sometime dev team lock bounty hunters token which escrow was provided to a smart contract. I have witnessed this in the past on a centralized bounty platform called bountyhive. The truth is that bounty hunting is not sustainable anymore, except you take up some signature campaign that pays in bitcoin. Hunters should always have it at the back of their mind that it is 50/50
It's bounty managers duty to make sure that every bounty hunters get paid, unfortunately not all bounty managers are capable, they mostly cares about their own payment, i think the best thing to do is follow reputation bounty managers or join bounties that introduce Escrowed campaigns
No bounty manager can assure you that you wont get cheated. They all take risk by managing campaign. Some of them are also get paid in token that is not giving out at the end of the day. No bounty manager has successfully manage every campaign that one will not cheat hunters. Some well known reputable bounty managers has even stop managing bounty because they dont want their image to be tarnished
309  Other / Meta / Re: Red Trust Account on: October 29, 2020, 04:15:10 PM
It is very simple, If you bump at a post and you see someone posting something you are interested in but you also discover that the person is having a red trust, will you believe the person ? having red trust reduce the credibility of any post coming from such account and this is the reason why many bounty manager do not want to engage them in signature campaign.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 29, 2020, 04:00:08 PM
Bruh it's an old method nothing new at all.

The address has been set up with smart contract, they will leave some token with a huge value and share the private key so everyone who found it will try to send some ethereum for gas transfer the token. When the fund arrived will immediately send to another address, its really a old method and pretty simple to recognize just by watching the transaction of that address.

It's will really weird when the private key already expose and there has some receive transaction ethereum but the token not moved at all when the eth send to another same adress.
I am just seen this for the first time. This is a smart move to scam the scammer. probably it will help discourage those scammers looking for a while to get to peoples wallet. It might be very simple but I doubt if any scammer will be patient enough to watch the transaction detail of the address. All that will be up to is moving the coin in the wallet not knowing a trap has been set for him
311  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DEGO - The hunters were deceived. on: October 29, 2020, 09:00:44 AM
Well, to be honest, the team will pay out all the tokens. Therefore, there is no reason to talk about obvious deception on her part. Yes, they did not meet the deadlines and this is a hoax.
How sure are you that they will not change the term again. If they have changed the term and hunters agree with them now, then they can decide to do the same again and again. I do not think you know how this people behave. They are always friendly when they want to start using you as hunters to promote their business. Once they achieve their aim, they make bounty hunters their enemy. They discredit you and named you dumpers
312  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DEGO - The hunters were deceived. on: October 28, 2020, 06:05:48 PM
This is nothing new. Something worse has been done to hunters by the dev team in the past. To clear any doubt, try and search for a project called asobi. They lied and told bounty hunters their token will be distributed in batches up till date many of us didn't get the token. Its been 2 years now.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 6 DeFi projects to watch in 2020 🎯 on: October 28, 2020, 05:43:47 PM
Poolz seems to be the next big DeFi. I have been following the development and I cannot wait to see how massive the project is going to become. The team is very hard working and they have constantly update the community about the development. YFI was a massive DeFi which I do not think any project can match the success they have achieved. Presently the YFI hype is over especially when a YFII was introduced.

317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation Coin Mixers on: October 27, 2020, 04:52:49 PM
all coin mixer is non custodian if they are not I think their objective is defeated because they are created to increase the security of crypto transaction and make the users to be more anonymous. Getting regulated means their operation is not going to provide users with more anonimity. Most of them exisiting today are created with faceless team
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 27, 2020, 04:26:54 PM
If you die today and nobody has access to your wallet, your bitcoin will remain forever. Part of the reason why many people have shared many way to prevent this. If you have bitcoin in your wallet, it is advisable to print your seed phrase and keep it save the same way you keep your other valuable documents and possibly give a tips about what seed phrase is
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Terror Attack Related With Bitcoin - INDIA on: October 27, 2020, 04:20:31 PM
maybe it will be regulated or ban in some parts of the country but cannot be totally banned throughout the world. This is not a new thing. Alot of offences has been committed that crypto transfer was involved but that does not justify the banning of crypto. Since people demand for ransome, bribe, laundering etc in fiat, does that means the fiat should be ban ?
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: October 27, 2020, 04:16:33 PM
Ones the government can trace everyone to their corresponding bitcoin address, then it means the essence through which crypto is created is being defeated. The idea of using KYC to know who and who is using crypto is not right and this is the reason many people will not support that. bitcoin has been critized by the government for influencing money laundery, mode of Ransome payment etc. but the fact remains that fiat currencies are being used too for the same purposes. I do not think bitcoin can destroy any country economy because here in my country, the advent of crypto has created much opportunity than the government
