301  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access gambling site without VPN on: November 19, 2022, 01:55:41 PM
The most important thing before using VPN is to check whether it is allowed or not by the casino and to check whether our country is restricted or not by the terms of the casino.
If gambling is illegal in your country then it is in my opinion too risky to use a VPN, even if the website does not specifically mention VPN's or your country as prohibited.  I am pretty sure just the fact that you are gambling from a restricted country is enough for the casino to trigger actions against you.  Whether that is KYC or they are seizing your money, who cares.  You are doomed anyway.

Your VPN or country may not be specifically mentioned in their Terms of Service, but there definitely is a term against illegal actions and yours could be deemed just that way.  So by using a casino in a prohibited country you are just calling for your funds to be 'seized' (stolen) by them at any given time.

Not just that, but if his country's government anyhow gets to know that he is gambling his funds on websites that are banned/blocked, then he'll either be jailed or be charged "n" times more against the amount he won on that website. It's better to do it the pro way by setting some apps that will be useful in this (and especially do it on websites where KYC is not needed at all) so that if you specifically use a device, you won't be traced so easily. What you made was your luck
Don't try your luck every now and then because you'll lose in the end. That's every average gambler's experience that they win huge first, then they think that they're lucky enough to play and win and then they lose a lot more than they have actually won.

305  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for (native) moderators in foreign languages on: May 21, 2022, 07:20:10 AM
Looking for natives:

Arabic
Chinese
Korean

And yes, knowledge of English is a must.

Some new projects coming my way, so need you guys to work with me as long term mods

However, the ones above are also needed, so if you come from that side, do send me a message with your qualifications as well as CV introducing yourself as well as your experience. I'll crosscheck everything, so don't try to be smart with me as I'll only hire them who are experienced in this and I get good reviews about you.
306  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: wwzsocki/ A big scammer on: May 19, 2022, 06:18:20 PM
Lol Robott
Were you drunk while writing the accusation or what?  Cheesy

Anyways, I'm vouching for wwzsocki that he's an honest person and always pays on time to the person who works for him (I've been working with him for some time and I can prove that he's an honest person).

Yes, if I had been in this community for 9 years, I would have had many friends to support me. Cheesy
Is this fair? Smiley

Well, I believe in speaking truth rather than ^supporting^ someone due to friendship or some other reasons, which is why I actually said what I'm experiencing with that person. But yeah, mentality matters and you only think till your mentality allows you to. Wink

308  Economy / Services / Looking for (native) moderators in foreign languages on: March 31, 2022, 01:37:09 PM
We need some moderators, 4 people in total.
1 x German, 1 x Spanish, 1 x Portugese and 1x french
And all of them must also have knowledge of English, and must be native in their respective language.

Please contact me via telegram @stedsm2
Thank you
Don't ask about the project here, simply talk to me on telegram.
And remember, don't apply for this job if you're a translator, I've got way too many translators available with me already but I need someone who can moderate and not translate.

https://cryptopanic.com/news/14155784/Thailand-Drops-15-Crypto-Tax-After-Pushback-From-Public

Power of public.
Indian salaried, upper and lower middle class are the ones getting fucked up due to this.

I see there are many celebrating that there's now a clear stance on crypto taxes, but literally wtf? 30% flat taxes?
Don't these guys have capital gains taxes already available on different asset classes available in India already?
This isn't good at all for crypto IMHO because this will only appreciate people to either leave India or evade taxes as true crypto lovers would never leave crypto.

312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 02, 2022, 07:33:53 PM
Seems like our thinking matches.
My friend used to research a lot on these Metaverse based projects and he also asked me to invest in this and that and all those projects are now being de-invested from (take Bloktopia as example). He very recently told me to invest in GWT (GalaxyWarToken) to make 100x, but I decided to stay away from the same. Today, it listed at Babyswap and Biswap. It started from ~$2, came down to $1, held there for an hour or two (till vested tokens were claimed) and then, bang. It dumped down to $0.09 (still 3x from its buy price). But just think that what would happen if we remain there sitting as a (peak) top price buyer?
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk guesses who bitcoin's mysterious creator Satoshi Nakamoto is on: January 02, 2022, 07:17:18 PM
--snip--
Since no one mentioned Wei Dai, I will say that it is possible that he is Satoshi - although he has repeatedly denied this possibility. What we do know is that Satoshi was very familiar with the work of Wei Dai and contacted him several times while working on the project.
--snip--

I don't believe Satoshi could be Wei Dai because Satoshi could be his fan or disciple based on what the theory elaborated in your mentioned article, and it doesn't directly relates to Satoshi being him. However, this debate is a never-ending debate because even if Satoshi himself shows up some day but says that he lost the private key of his address where he's got his BTC, trust me nobody will believe even the real Satoshi Nakamoto to be him only and the debate will continue.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 02, 2022, 06:48:56 PM
3x but still regret?
What's gone is gone, but remember that you always have new opportunities popping up every moment (yeah, not even a day, but in each moment, you can find a new opportunity) so just look for it and grab it. And about selling your BTC, you still held for a time for which around 95% of people who use BTC, couldn't hold, so you must be proud of yourself as most people here won't be hodlers but sellers because most of them come from a place where earning BTC (even a few chunks) can help them live a much better life than they could live with their 9 to 5 jobs.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price now on: January 01, 2022, 08:27:00 PM
Looks like the year 2021 for BTC was a roller coaster ride whereas with there were major ups, there were so many downs too. But the year 2021 didn't end on a positive note for BTC as it didn't manage to get over $50k area. I believe we may see more downside in the near term as there is enough fear (I know markets go up when fear is high, still my inner sense says that it'll drop).
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TX Cost , fees and gas on: January 01, 2022, 08:16:57 PM
If you're worried about tx cost, you can choose to send with next to zero fees with TRX, XLM, XRP, etc.
While, if you'd like to go the stablecoins way, choose USDT over TRC20 and send with max $1 fee which is still very low compared to the hefty fees one pays while sending money through Western Union.

About BTC tx costs, it is based upon the mempool whether it gets clogged or not. The more free it is, the least you pay. Same is with any other Blockchain, but ERC20 tokens need much bigger fees to get your tx get through against bep-20 ones which are comparatively cheaper than ERC20. However, with time, there are more and more Blockchains being used for scalability as well as cheaper transactions.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots on: January 01, 2022, 07:48:15 PM
Why are you interested in burning your money behind bots for things that can be done by you without their help as well?

Set a limit buy at your predefined low and set your take profit at your predefined high, and it also won't cost you anything. And which bot made which crypto millionaires? May I please have some links regarding this?
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 24, 2021, 09:41:32 PM
Be it a rise or fall for BTC, if your ultimate goal is to make money, then simply buy a few chunks of BTC whenever you see it going back to its specific supports, and when you watch it getting pumped up, you may decide to sell or hodl. Even if you sell, you sell in profits so no regrets here. Again you wait some time and see BTC at those levels or even lower support levels (if you are sure that BTC may fall further), you may use 45-55 strategy to allocate your money on those areas. This isn't a financial advice though and must be DYOR before you jump into any crypto assets.  Wink
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin search results spam using DuckDuckGo on: December 18, 2021, 01:37:29 PM
Hi @OP, would you mind clearing cache and data on your browser you're using duckduckgo at? Or maybe try changing your browser? Because I also searched for BTC and like everyone here, I've got no issues with the search results at all as they're showing Bitcoin relevant results only.
