Shubman Gill has played some incredible innings for India in ODI and he has already scored a double century in ODI in his short career but in Test matches he is yet to establish his name as he lacked consistency in his short career and in T20 he made his debut this year and he played just 6 matches and he already scored a century, so there is no debate about his skills and he will be the pillars of Indian batting in the coming years.

BCCI was reluctant to introduce the T20 format when it was introduced and now they really think that the future will be T20 and franchise cricket  . Even Ravi Shastri has given interviews after he stepped down as the coach that franchise Cricket is the future. IPL dates are gradually increasing and more teams will be introduced in the coming years. Players are resigning earlier from International Cricket to prolong their franchise career which is ongoing and it all depends upon the fans.

Personally i would love to see India and Pakistan matches as they are really competitive and a great experience for the sports fans but the government will be using this as a leverage for their political gains and with the right wing government India is having, i doubt there will be any leniency into this issue, moving India's matches to a neutral ground is a good option and i wish we will see that happen.
