3041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An alternative to Coinbase outside of US on: September 13, 2021, 10:47:59 PM
I think bittrex.com may work for you.
But isn't Bitrexx headquartered or located somewhere in the US to begin with?

I think what OP is trying to look for is an exchange that operates "outside" the US but is friendly to the US customers and not highly regulated platforms like the Krakens, Gemini's etc

My answer is OP might be wasting tine to look for such platforms
3042  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this what call hard work? on: September 13, 2021, 10:25:11 PM
Report the said profile to the bounty manager. If the manager is responsible, what the culprit tried to do through post busting won't yield him any results, meaning he will have done no work.
You can also report the profile for spamming to the mods for scrutiny.
3043  Economy / Reputation / Re: WTF Maidak? on: September 13, 2021, 09:57:26 PM
Man, it's even getting harder to believe this developing drama series

On a second thought, @Maidak could actually think you are intentionally defaulting a loan and claiming your account was hacked  Roll Eyes
Looks like a failed fraud attempted to me, sorry if I may be wrong, but that's what my conscience tells me.  Something is not right.
3044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brokers accepting bitcoin on: September 13, 2021, 09:29:27 PM
If i may understand you, You wanna use bitcoin to start trading or you just wanna buy bitcoin and hold as an investment?
Well, you can use FTX exchange for both.
Isn't trading the same as "investment"
I mean, they both involve buying and selling, right?

OP your query is not clear and direct. Are you looking for brokers like the traditional forex and stockbrokers, or you are looking at cryptocurrency exchanges?
There is some difference between the two in terms of functionality and being regulated by financial bodies.
3045  Other / Archival / Re: People still buy crypto scripts ? on: September 13, 2021, 06:44:35 PM
Have no idea what does that mean. Tongue
Unless ”often” means other thing to you.
You actually accept the risk on everything you buy everywhere.

- Whats wrong?
I cant find mom.
- What was she wearing Huh
Coming from a person who was wondering  if there are people who are still buying crypto scripts here

@NotATether is simply giving  you a clue as to why the stupid scripts are not popular here. There's no need to act as if he attacked you. Don't be slow in thinking.
3046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trading View or Coinigy : Which is better on: September 13, 2021, 06:22:52 PM
I have never used coingy before, but I set up an account right now and did a quick tour.To be honest, Tradingview is far much better, is user-friendly and has more markets than coingy
Tradingview also has more indicators and scripts for different strategies. One can also backtest trading strategies on Tradingview, is this possible on coingy?
3047  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone had access to my account last month - Please beware! on: September 13, 2021, 04:54:45 PM
You are quite lucky that the hacker didn't completely lock you out of your account by changing your email address after the password change or use it to scam unsuspecting members.

Try to keep your email address very secure. 2FA should be a must. Once your email address is compromised. Every account linked to it including exchange accounts could easily be accessed by the hacker through password resets.
3048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot accumulation zones after a pump? on: September 11, 2021, 10:05:40 PM
This is quite a good topic what I know was after a pump the good accumulation zone was the previous resistance I just want to ask if that was right? I see on the post of Bitcoin_Arena that those are some good indicators but I think it's only for premium subscribers but I think that's a really helpful indicators.
There are some scripts that are free that can do exactly the same job. Head over to indicators and strategies and search for "Poor man's volume profile"
Detail about it - https://www.tradingview.com/v/IWdpl712/

More volume profile scripts - https://www.tradingview.com/scripts/volumeprofile/

Also Fixed Range volume profile can be got for free if you go to tool panel on the left side of your chart.

3049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot accumulation zones after a pump? on: September 10, 2021, 11:57:41 PM
Volume is a very good resource for determining those levels or price ranges. Tradingview has those scripts but are only available for paid subscription which means they are superb tools

There's;
1. Fixed Range volume profile
2. Visible Range volume profile
3. Session volume
4. Session Volume HD

Try reading about how they work

Example

The area with the highest activity over the period of 4 days is that point with a red line. Take note how the candles react when they reach that line
3050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: September 10, 2021, 10:53:27 PM
If the short term market was easily predictable or if we had some free publically known indicators that were 100% accurate in predicting the outcomes of the market. Don't you think all of us traders would be millionaires by now?

I guess that answers your question. What we have are Technical and fundamental analysis tools, but they too aren't 100% accurate. They just help to shade some light on how the market might perform. Those tools and some vast experience as a trader might help you have some high win rate in trades, which is enough to grow your account over time.
3051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you profit from the dipAt on: September 10, 2021, 10:39:59 PM
Bitcoin dump from $51800 to $42,000 and Around +2.7B dollars liquidated within only 1 hour! 24H Rekt $3.69B, Exchange made a huge profit from this Bitcoin dump.
This is a very big misconception by so many traders who are new into the game. Exchanges don't make any profits off liquidations, at least not directly. Every time someone's position is liquidated, It means there's a trader on the other side ripping big. The exchanges only earn through trading fees, withdrawal fees and maybe collect Insurance fund from the maintenance margin which is used to cover for bankrupt users during volatile markets.
3052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you profit from the dipAt on: September 10, 2021, 12:26:45 AM
I was scared at first. If i liquidation If I had not added, my balance would have been zero long ago. I added a lot of dollars to recover my balance. As a result, even after a lot of dumping in the market My balance was recovered.
You have Solana's pump to thank  Cheesy. During the flash crash on Bitcoin and other majority of cryptocurrencies, Solana was midway it's pump and didn't dump and hard as most of the coins. If you had entered a long on coins like Link or Ripple, Your position could have not been able to stand a chance.
3053  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is www.iexwls.com scam?? on: September 10, 2021, 12:09:59 AM
Hey guys can anyone help how to recover the money back?
Any site for help or someone?
Best regards.
If you sent Bitcoins to them, then you might wanna just call it a loss and move on. You could choose to report to authorities in your country if the amount is so huge, but chances of recovering that money are so low.

Like already noted. Any form of Bitcoin recovery service website you come across is probably a scam, and you should avoid falling to a second trap due to your desperate situation.
3054  Other / Archival / Re: ByBit - Derivatives Exchange on: September 09, 2021, 06:19:26 AM
hello, are you relate to bybit?
He isn't if you carefully read the disclaimer in the OP

I am not an employee of the ByBit exchange. The material has been prepared for informational purposes only. Remember, margin trading is a dangerous business. .

I read your case, and I would advise you to read, learn and understand more about trading derivatives and using leverage or else you will lose all your life savings. Like a famous saying goes "A bad workman always blames his tools" Don't be that bad work man
3055  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam on bybit derivatives on: September 09, 2021, 06:07:49 AM
Ratimov is actually right. Maybe you should try to understand his comment rather than try to ridicule him.
Based on what you have just written, it's quite clear you don't understand a lot of things about trading derivatives and that's one of the reasons you are losing a lot of money and then starting to accuse an exchange for scamming you

I suggest you try to read more about;

1. Liquidation price and how it's calculated
2. Bankruptcy price and how it's calculated
3, The difference between the trigger price and the filled price
4. Why slippages happen under certain market conditions and why your order may not be filled at the trigger price.
5. The index price, the mark price and the market price and significance of each of the above prices to an open position
3056  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Regulators Investigate Crypto-Exchange Developer Uniswap Labs on: September 07, 2021, 11:55:24 PM
@hugeblack. I disagree. Enforcement of the law and regulations will certainly be a problem unless the SEC can takedown smart contract platforms like Ethereum, Binance smart chain and Solana. The SEC might takedown the websites, however, they will only be pushing Defi farmers to be more creative and use privacy tools like TOR. This might create a setting where only the criminals have access to Defi.
The reason those sites are booming right now is because of the User friendly interface that can be used by many people who are less technical. Should they decide to shut down the front end, then the unstoppable smart contracts we keep singing about become close to useless with no more volumes or liquidity, and the exchange or DeFi dies just like that.

Remember, Etherdelta whose creators were charged by SEC? I wonder what Etherdelta is up to right now Grin
3057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 66 minutes between blocks? on: September 07, 2021, 11:28:23 PM
If so, what might have been the cause?
Finding the next block is like a random game of chance or probability. In Simple terms, it's like if you are six players (miners) playing a die game and the first person to roll the dice to number 6 wins the game (Mine a new block)

You will find a situation where players will take so long to roll a number six after very many attempts, while at other times it will take any of them just seconds to roll a six.

3058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some trading mistakes beginners make on: September 07, 2021, 11:12:03 PM
Trading with funds you cannot afford to lose should be on top of the list. Borrowing funds to trade should never be an option. I have personally done that mistake before when was a novice trader and once you lose even one trade, emotions get ahold of you, and you start revenge trading and making so many poor decisions that can lead to more losses.

Also, greed should be completely avoided. If you go with a mindset of getting rich quick though trading, you are less likely to succeed. Trading and making significant gains takes time and experience. Greed can turn your small profits into huge losses and even less equity in your portfolio.
3059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best taking profit techniques to maximize gains out of the upcoming blow-off top on: September 07, 2021, 10:54:52 PM
On the spot market. I usually sell off my bags on known resistance levels like the recent one at $50K to 52K and buy back after the market has rebounded on a lower support level. Many expected a breakout including me but when the momentum dropped I realized it was time to exit and my instincts were spot on this time rounds.

My stop losses are usually somewhere slightly below a strong support level if a market dump catches me still holding the bags.
3060  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - A Peer to Peer Local Exchange on: September 07, 2021, 10:43:23 PM
Low cost transaction fees
As P2P exchange is a simple platform, the overhead costs are negligible for buyers and sellers.
On Binance P2P, takers are charged zero trading fees, while makers are charged a small amount of transaction fees upon every completed order. We pledge to apply the lowest P2P transaction fees in all markets.
Initially, it was better when you weren't charging fees on market makers, but now you do charge fees. The rules are changing every day. Tomorrow, takers could be charged too.

Trade at your preferred prices
Peer-to-peer exchanges bring users freedom to trade crypto at the preferred prices.
On Binance P2P, you can not just buy or sell crypto from the existing offers, but also create your trade advertisements to set your own prices.
Again rules changed here, again one can not be a maker unless they meet certain conditions such as the number of trades and number of trading partners. This wasn't the case initially.

Protection for your privacy
Unlike credit card or bank transfers, peer-to-peer exchanges do not collect information about buyers and sellers.
So you can buy Bitcoin with cash on Binance P2P and don't need to use any bank account or online wallet to make a crypto-fiat transaction.
Then why are you asking users to first pass KYC before using the P2P platform if your intention was to really protect the privacy of the users?
Obviously, you have all the user data that you can willingly give to any authorities that need it.
